Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him has God the Father sealed.

Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him has God the Father sealed.

Friends, the above, John 6:27, is the LORD speaking of these words I speak to you each day in His name. They are but meat that perishes, unless you yourself come to the understanding they are meant to produce. These repetitious teachings are meant to bring your mind’s eye into seeing as the LORD God sees: in the same light in which He has inspirited all His writers.

There is a battle underway in the earth and in heaven, in the natural and the spiritual realms, the LORD sending His light against all the world and those who control it in the darkness of their confusion and ignorance. Theirs is the worst type of ignorance and the greatest darkness, where the powerful intentionally distort and manipulate all information, some willfully and with evil intentions, others unwittingly. They, as the armies of the world, have now gathered and joined against the LORD at His coming, hating the light because it releases men from their control. This is the underlying spiritual battle, which manifests itself in the daily reality of these men’s action and their effect: lawlessness, chaos, and delusion – the new normal of a reversed reality produced by these men’s perverted self-validating teaching and advice.

Revelation 19
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And LORD Of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun [this message standing in the church]; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

When verse 12 above speaks of the name only I/we know, it is a reference to Jacob, and now again all God’s people, wrestling with Jehovah’s presence and words not knowing it is Him. Those who have been with me for a while know we’ve previously discussed the name Jehovah in detail, it meaning self-existent, its deeper meaning and therefore how it is God’s defining His presence and purpose in the creation of man. It is from the word hayah, meaning to exist, as in to become or come to pass. It tells of God manifesting himself into situation throughout history, in the present, and as he will in the future. It is a partial understanding of who God is, until we first understand the word havah, from where hayah is derived, meaning to breath (life, and word), as in the air we inhale and exhale.

This last aspect is what Paul is referring to as he describes the LORD coming and raising the sleeping and dead, with the voice (exhaling God’s word) of the archangel, and of our rising to meet the LORD in the air. As we have previously seen, this is the air describe by John in Revelation 16:17 when the seventh angel pours out His vial into the air. It is also what we saw describes in the prior post in Revelation 14:7, and the everlasting gospel preached by the angel (messenger) flying in heaven, and also in Revelation 19:17 above describing this message when it is heard in all the churches.

We also know from other conversation, we only truly know the LORD when we understand His name (character – identity) when combined with the Hebrew word yasha‘, meaning to open, wide or free, as in to make safe or to save. An identical word also means liberty, deliverance, and prosperity. When yasha‘ is added to Jehovah it produced the name Yhowshua, which in Greek is the name Jesus.

He is the one who opens and no man shuts, and shuts and no man opens, who has set before us this open door. He is the Spirit in all the prophets, as God exhales His word to free us from the grip of ignorant and misleading men. He is our liberty, deliverance, and salvation; God manifested in human form preaching and teaching, the word made flesh as the presence and glory of God in us.

Revelation 19
9 And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper [this feast that joins us to the LORD by creating the same mind of Christ in us] of the Lamb. And he said unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See you do it not: I AM your fellow-servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 3
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens;
8 I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan [the churches where those resisting God are sitting in His place, as if they are God], which say they are Jews [those who claim they are the true believers], and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10 Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation [when all the world denies the presence of God with us], which shall [has] come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown.
12 Him that overcomes [the wicked and their abominations that have caused the total desolation they call normal – the ideas they have imagined and set in God’s place] will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.

Revelation 16
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates [ the waters/words flowing to the dead – which made them dead and kept them thereby]; and the water [words] thereof was dried up [so the death and corruption in them could be seen], that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [corrupted ideas which had been unseen below the surface of their waters/words] come out of the mouth of the dragon [death lurking in their words], and out of the mouth of the beast [the confusion ruling the world], and out of the mouth of the false prophet [those using predictions and warning of what lay ahead, to control and manipulate all people].
14 For they are the spirits of devils [coming from their mouths], working miracles [lying signs and wonders], which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon [the mountain of this set rendezvous – place and time: here and now].
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 And there were voices, and thunders [the sound of understanding], and lightning [understanding]; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake [shaking the wicked from the seats and power], and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon [confusion that rules over the world] came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath [this word He has opened, and His understanding He has freely given].
20 And every island fled away [all the dry places where this word of God isn’t heard], and the mountains were not found [the high places of earthly power were brought down].
21 And there fell upon men a great hail [this world of God reserved there for this moment] out of heaven, every stone [wherein the waters {the word of God shut} have been frozen – Job 38: 30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep {understanding} is frozen.] about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Psalms 91
1 He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come nigh your dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall you trample under feet.
14 Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Isaiah 45
1 Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus [tried and refined in the furnace], whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
2 I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, which call you by your name, am the God of Israel.
4 For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called you by your name: I have surnamed you, though you have not known me.
5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded you, though you have not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
8 Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
9 Woe unto him that strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioned it, What make you? or your work, He has no hands?
10 Woe unto him that says unto his father, What beget you? or to the woman, What have you brought forth?
11 Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command you me.
12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, says the LORD of hosts.
14 Thus says the LORD, The labor of Egypt [in the furnace], and merchandise of Ethiopia [darkness] and of the Sabeans [the drunkards], men of stature, shall come over unto you, and they shall be yours: they shall come after you; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto you, they shall make supplication unto you, saying, Surely God is in you; and there is none else, there is no God.
15 Truly you are a God that hides yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior.
16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.
17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18 For thus says the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek you me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21 Tell you, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? who has told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Verse 23 above is quoted in Romans 14:11 and in Philippians 2:10. Romans 14 begins by differentiating between the innocently ignorant and those who want to argue and aren’t seeking understanding. Paul says we should receive the one but not the other. He goes on to describe those who we should receive, even if they believe differently than we do in matter irrelevant to our salvation and life. The end is to understand the LORD is alive, to correct all error and raise us all to life, together, as described in 1 Thessalonians 4 as he says we should not lose hope of this, as have some. This meaning is the intended context in quoting Isaiah 45:23, which speaks of this culmination in understanding the LORD’s glory and presence for this purposes.

Romans 14
1 Him that is weak in the faith receive you, but not to doubtful disputations.
2 For one believes that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats herbs.
3 Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him which eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him.
4 Who are you that judges another man’s servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yea, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.
5 One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regards the day, regards it unto the LORD; and he that regards not the day, to the LORD he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to the LORD, for he gives God thanks; and he that eats not, to the LORD he eats not, and gives God thanks.
7 For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the LORD; and whether we die, we die unto the LORD: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the LORD’s.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be LORD both of the dead and living.
10 But why do you judge your brother? or why do you set at naught your brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling-block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way [that no man teaches what cause others to stumble at the presence and teaching of the LORD].
14 I know, and am persuaded by the LORD Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean [for the idol and ideas are nothing unless a person believes and is led away from God by them].
15 But if your brother be grieved with your meat [this deeper understanding], now walk you not charitably [giving it to him for education and not for destruction]. Destroy not him with your meat, for whom Christ died.
16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify [educate] another.
20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats with offence [to make it what causes a separation].
21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak.
22 Have you faith? have it to yourself before God. Happy is he that condemns not himself in that thing which he allows.
23 And he that doubts [see verse 1] is damned if he eat, because he eats not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Again, this is the context of Philippians 2, which we know ends telling us to receive Epaphroditus. In previous discussions, we have seen his name referring to one who was as a star straying (planet) away, now recovered and become valuable for the LORD’s ministry. Paul describes him and his wandering away as one who was sick, near death, and now restored. This restoration to health is the purpose of the LORD’s humbling Himself, serving us, and longsuffering for our reconciliation.

Philippians 2
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 Fulfill you my joy, that you be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world;
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.
17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
18 For the same cause also do you joy, and rejoice with me.
19 But I trust in the LORD Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.
22 But you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.
23 Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
24 But I trust in the LORD that I also myself shall come shortly.
25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labor, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. [this is in a pattern speaking of the preachers who have been innocently ignorant, and aren’t consumed with disputing to justify themselves.]
26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that you had heard that he had been sick.
27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
28 I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
29 Receive him therefore in the LORD with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:
30 Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

James 4
1 From whence come wars and fighting among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not.
3 You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts.
4 You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do you think that the scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us lusts to envy?
6 But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and he shall lift you up.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaks evil of his brother, and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law, and judges the law: but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who are you that judges another?
13 Go to now, you that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.
15 For that you ought to say, If the LORD will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16 But now you rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.

Psalms 67
1 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face [presence] to shine upon us; Selah.
2 That your way may be known upon earth, your saving health among all nations.
3 Let the people praise you, O God; let all the people praise you.
4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for you shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
5 Let the people praise you, O God; let all the people praise you.
6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
