In the previous post, we discussed the LORD’s words, from Matthew 9, first quoting Hosea 6:6 speaking of His not wanting any material offering, instead desiring our minds to be filled with the understanding He freely gives, which we saw is His mercy. We saw Jonah’s words from Jonah 2, when he is in the belly of hell and looks to the LORD, who then brings him out by showing him this same mercy, and Jonah responds, “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.”

The time in belly of the fish, which we know is the hell created by winds of false doctrine (corrupt ideas) that come after the LORD has sown His good word in the earth. In Matthew 9:8 & 9 we saw the LORD describing the sowing as when His children are joined with Him and are enjoying the provision of His presence. He then speaks of the time when His presence is not known, when His disciples will (or should) fast; elsewhere, in Matthew 12:40, saying it is when He will be in the belly of the earth, as Jonah was in the belly of the fish.

The title is Proverbs 27:12 and speaks of this same time, when the LORD has hidden Himself, His knowledge and truth personified, and the wicked who have corrupted it pass on and blindly continue into punishment, not seeing (understanding) His presence because of self-inflicted ignorance and their pride in it.

The word in the title rendered “hides” is the Hebrew word cathar, the same word used before and after the title passage to tell us of the revelation, the uncovering, that reveals what has been hidden in minds blinded by the gods of this world.

2 Corinthians 4
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 But have renounced [the things that hide the LORD’s presence from men] the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light [understanding] of the glorious gospel of Christ [the LORD in us], who is the image [the apparent presence] of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the LORD; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the LORD Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. [see 1 Corinthians 15:54 – when the mortal puts on immortality.]

We are told in Proverbs 25:2 it is the glory of the LORD, to conceal (cathar – hide) a matter, so that the one He has anointed as king can search it, in order and lawfully, as his coronation (crowning). This is what Paul instructs Timothy (me) to do, in 2 Timothy 2, and says in 1 Corinthians 11:19, “For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved [by the LORD God] may be made manifest among you.”

Proverbs 25
2 It is the glory of God to conceal [cathar] a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
3 The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart [the mind] of kings is unsearchable.
4 Take away the dross from the silver [separate the corruption from what is of value], and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness [as God’s truth is raised to reign].

2 Timothy 2
3 You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him [the LORD God] who has chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that labors must be first partaker of the fruits.
7 Consider what I say; and the LORD give you understanding in all things.
8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the LORD that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers [as have the words of the false prophets and false teachers among us].
15 Study to shew yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness [as it has in those, all, who have not shunned them].

The Hebrew word translated “unsearchable,” in Proverbs 25:3 above, is the twelve times used word cheqer, which speaks of the knowledge of God that can only be given by His uncovering.

The first “unsearchable” thoughts are found it the first appearance of the word cheqer, in Judges 5:16, where it tells us to “behold the son.” It comes in the song sung by Deborah [the orderly arrangement of Jehovah] and Barak [as a flash of enlightening/understanding], as they are called to awaken to this purpose, and lead captivity captive. We know this last aspect is spoken of by Paul in Ephesians 4:8 as he tells of when the LORD (as now) ascends on high.

8 Wherefore he says, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Judges 5
12 Awake, awake, Deborah [ideas ordered by Jehovah from the foundation of the earth]: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak [understand as a flash of lightning], and lead your captivity captive, you son of Abinoam [who is his Father’s delight].
13 Then he made him that remains [those who have not departed from their God] have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
14 Out of Ephraim [this latter generation] was there a root of them against Amalek [those that agitated all the world, by the winds of false doctrine]; after you, Benjamin [sons in power, God’s right hand], among your people; out of Machir [who sold God’s people into captivity] came down governors, and out of Zebulun [those who exalted themselves above God’s truth] they that handle the pen of the writer.
15 And the princes of Issachar [who were the LORD’s response] were with Deborah [found in the ordered understanding of Jehovah]; even Issachar [even His reward], and also Barak [His understanding as light]: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions [for the rightly diving of the word of God] of Reuben [which says, “Behold the son, My first born from the dead”] there were great thoughts of heart.
16 Why abode you among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleating [the piercing scorn] of the flocks? For the divisions [rightly understanding God’s word] of Reuben [beholding the son] there were great searchings [cheqer] of heart [of the foundations of the mind].
17 Gilead [this mountain of testimony] abode beyond Jordan [on the other side of the descent into death, and was the life of man]: and why did Dan [judgment] remain in ships [closed in vessels above the waters]? Asher continues [happiness was ambushed] on the sea shore [among the people without the word of God], and abode in his breaches [held at the river’s mouth – where the word flowed to the sea, from the mouth of God].
18 Zebulun [those who exalted themselves] and Naphtali [who ignorantly wrestled with the word of God to their own destruction] were a people that jeopardized their lives unto the death in the high places of the field.
19 The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan [who were humiliated] in Taanach [in their own deceptions and misuse of God’s word] by the waters of Megiddo [the place of the rendezvous – this set time of God, only known by Him]; they took no gain of money. [Isaiah 45:13, “he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, says the LORD of hosts {the armies of heaven}.”]
20 They fought from heaven; the stars [the son of God] in their courses fought against Sisera [those who arrayed themselves against them in battle].
21 The river of Kishon [word of God set as a snare] swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon [that which should have been for their welfare, and now become a trap]. O my soul, you have trodden down strength.

The word cheqer next appears seven times in Job, all of which are in witnessing to the points made above, and telling of How God raises the lowly, as only He can, when He decides, by His unsearchable things.

Job 5
8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9 Which does great things and unsearchable [cheqer]; marvelous things without number:
10 Who gives rain upon the earth, and sends waters upon the fields [see Judges 5:18 above]:
11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
12 He disappoints the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward [those who twist truth – twist the word of God] is carried headlong.
14 They meet with darkness [ignorance and confusion] in the day time, and [blindly] grope in the noonday as in the night.
15 But he saves the poor from the sword, from their [the deceiver’s] mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
16 So the poor have hope, and iniquity stops her mouth.
17 Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore despise not you the chastening of the Almighty:
18 For he makes sore, and binds up: he wounds, and his hands make whole.
19 He shall deliver you in six troubles [tribulations]: yea, in seven [the last] there shall no evil touch you.
20 In famine [for hearing the true word of God] he shall redeem you from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
21 You shall be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shall you be afraid of destruction when it comes.

The last use of cheqer in Job comes in Job 38:16 as the LORD is asking Job where he was when He created this order, when the sons of God saw it and rose as the stars of heaven, when He set this time as the boundary beyond which man’s ignorance would not pass.

Job 38
1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2 Who is this that darkened [gave ignorant] counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up now your loins like a man; for I will demand of you, and answer you me.
4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding.
5 Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it broke forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness [ignorance and confusion] a swaddling-band [a protective cover] for it,
10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
11 And said, Hereto shall you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves [swelling pride in your own ignorance] be stayed?
12 Have you commanded the morning since your days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
15 And from the wicked their light [understanding] is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken.

25 Who has divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder [understanding and its voice];
26 To cause it to rain on the earth [to cause the word of God to be heard on the earth], where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
28 Has the rain a father? or who has begotten the drops of dew?

35 Can you send lightnings [understanding, that says, “behold the son”], that they may go and say unto you, Here we are?
36 Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? or who has given understanding to the heart?
37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles [stop the word of God being poured out] of heaven,
38 When the dust grows into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together? [when the TRUE word of God is not heard or found anywhere]

40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

The word cheqer next appears in Psalms 145:3, there telling of the “unsearchable” greatness of the LORD, and the praise deserved for His mercy, which is shown in His marvels.

Psalms 145
1 I will extol you, my God, O king; and I will bless your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless you; and I will praise your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable [cheqer].
4 One generation shall praise your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
5 I will speak of the glorious honor of your majesty, and of your wondrous works.
6 And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts: and I will declare your greatness.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of your great goodness, and shall sing of your righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10 All your works shall praise you, O LORD; and your saints shall bless you.
11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk of your power;
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

Cheqer then appears in Proverbs 25:3 above, followed by a second appearance in verse 27 of the same chapter. It comes in a passage again telling of the LORD’s mercy, the word describing the good He is doing, even to those who have sought their own exaltation and searched for it, instead of waiting for the LORD to appear, in His time, giving understanding.

21 If your enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
22 For you shall heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward you.
23 The north wind drives away rain: so does an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman [church] and in a wide house.
25 As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.
27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search [cheqer] their own glory is not glory.
28 He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Before going on to the twelfth appearance of cheqer in Isaiah 40:28, back to the word cathar in the title verse, and the revelation found in its next and last appearance in Proverbs; Proverbs 28:28.

Proverbs 28
1 The wicked flee when no man pursues: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
3 A poor man that oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaves no food.
4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6 Better is the poor that walks in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
7 Whoso keeps the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shames his father.
8 He that by usury and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9 He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
10 Whoso cause the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

Isaiah 40
9 O Zion, that brings good tidings, get you up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10 Behold, the LORD God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

27 Why say you, O Jacob, and speaks, O Israel, My way is hid [cathar – Don’t you know, nothing is hidden from Him?] from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching [cheqer] of his understanding.
29 He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Psalms 146
1 Praise you the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keeps truth for ever:
7 Which executes judgment for the oppressed: which gives food to the hungry. The LORD looses the prisoners:
8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind: the LORD raises them that are bowed down: the LORD loves the righteous:
9 The LORD preserves the strangers; he relieves the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.
10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even your God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise you the LORD [Hallelujah].

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.

The Greek word translated “instructed” is matheteuo, a four-times used word specifically describing being taught by the LORD Himself, in us as we write (scribe) under the baptism of God (in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). This meaning is what was very quickly lost, by neglect and self-elevation, and what closed the book, removing the knowledge of God and His understanding, until His return, to now again in us speak His truth.

The LORD began this message in Matthew 9, where He is speaking of when His disciples will fast, when He is gone, meaning His followers are no longer joined with Him (the bridegroom). He says then will they fast – or should have. He goes on to describe why, telling how there shouldn’t be (but will be) those who in His absence will add new things (inventions they’ve newly woven from their imaginations) to the old garment: His given truth (right words). He then likens His appearing again to new wine, which when poured into old bottles, meaning those (and their institutions) holding on to long ago corrupted ideas, and when this seeming new (water turned wine) mind changing truth is poured in it bursts their false expectations.

The passage begins with the LORD being seen eating with publicans and sinners, who are those who aren’t corrupted by the old and are therefore the first healed because they are able to hold the new wine. The old institutions, scribes and Pharisees who write and preach what they prescribe from their own imaginations, are told to go and learn the meaning of the saying “I will have mercy, and not sacrifice,” which He goes on to say is His calling sinners (even scribes blinded to their own sin) to repentance. (See the prior post.)

We know this quote is found in Hosea 6:6 and tells us specifically what these men lack is understanding the LORD’s mercy, which comes as the knowledge He gives. We understand this is what Jonah is saying in Jonah 2:8 as he is speaking of the LORD bringing him from death, out of the belly of hell, saying, “They that observe [heed] lying vanities forsake their own mercy.” The word mercy here is the Hebrew word checed, which is speaking of the LORD condescending, in kindness, to correct us.

6 But that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (then said he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up your bed, and go unto your house.
7 And he arose, and departed to his house.
8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
9 And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eats your Master [Teacher] with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 But go you and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but your disciples fast not?
15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bride-chamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
16 No man puts a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runs out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Will you be made new? Repent and be forgiven. This is the healing spoken of in Hosea 6, which comes to those who return to the LORD, in spirit and truth. This is the true baptism, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, One in me, in us, washing away the old sins, healing us and bringing new life: born again as the new man into which is poured this new wine.

Hosea 6
1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he has torn, and he will heal us; he has smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
4 O Ephraim [God’s people in this time], what shall I do unto you? O Judah [God’s leaders], what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away.
5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and your judgments are as the light [understanding] that goes forth.
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8 Gilead [this mountain of testimony – God’s {My} truth] is a city of them that work iniquity, and is [in your hands become] polluted with blood [which has drained the life from My People].
9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder [take the life] in the way by consent [with the ignorant agreeing with/to it]: for they commit lewdness [apostasy].
10 I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim [the unfaithfulness of following others away from the bridegroom], Israel is defiled [and by this corruption the whole lump is leavened].
11 Also, O Judah [leaders], he has set an harvest for you, when I returned the captivity of my people.

The LORD continues to describe the controversy, which itself testifies against all the rebels among God’s people, and tells how they “forsake their own mercy.” God’s people will continue to be consumed by the world and the false prophets until they come out from under death’s shadow and away from those who continue to preach it. They must realize this is the third day and the Judgment, and this voice is the voice of the LORD.

Friends, the truth is that the famous preachers, those whose wealth comes by preaching and teaching fables, are the false teachers and false prophets warned against, and the false Christ, the spirit of antichrist in them taking them, and any who follow, into perdition. This is their choice, and again I say, “Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.”

Hosea 7
1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief comes in, and the troop of robbers spoil without.
2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.
3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceases from raising after he has kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.
5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleeps all the night; in the morning it burns as a flaming fire.
7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calls unto me.
8 Ephraim, he has mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knows it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knows not.
10 And the pride of Israel testifies to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart [delusional and therefore unable to understand she has reached her destination, and instead]: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria [are taken onto captivity and captured by the communists].
12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation has heard.
13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.
15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

The Hebrew word, rendered “silly” in verse 11 above, is pathah, meaning to be simple-minded, and therefore open to being deluded. It appears one other time in Hosea, in Hosea 2:14 where it is the LORD saying this is the state into which he will, and now has, appear to His people, to reason with them – to sober the deluded. It is speaking of the strong delusion Paul says the LORD will send to the wicked sitting in His place opposing Him and His truth, as with it He appears. It is also spoken of Ezekiel 14:9 where the LORD tells us precisely what it is and gives its origin.

Ezekiel 14
3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling-block of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus says the LORD God; Every man of the house of Israel that set up his idols in his heart, and put the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that comes according to the multitude of his idols;
5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus says the LORD God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourns in Israel, which separates himself from me, and set up his idols in his heart, and put the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
9 And if the prophet be deceived [pathah – deluded] when he has spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived [pathah – deluded] that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeks unto him;
11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the LORD God.

2 Thessalonians 2
6 And now you know what withholds [katecho – holds God’s people down] that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets [katecho – keeps from rising] will let [hold people down], until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the LORD shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders [he and his children speaking lies and corruption, the power {spirit} that now works in the children of disobedience and rebellion],
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness [error] in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness [the errors in which these pride-filled men trust].

8 For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.
9 Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
10 And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.
11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her Sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
12 And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she has said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
13 And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim [ba’al – referring to what is said in Jeremiah 2:8, when, “The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal {ba’al}, and walked after things that do not profit.”], wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgot me, says the LORD.
14 Therefore, behold, I will allure [pathah – delude] her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor [of her troubles] for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
16 And it shall be at that day, says the LORD [Jehovah], that you shall call me Ishi [the son of man]; and shall call me no more Baali [ba’aliy – LORD, as in the idols they call by His name].
17 For I will take away the names of Baalim [ba’al – your idols, the ideas you have created from your own imaginations] out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
19 And I will betroth [join as a bride to a bridegroom] you unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth you unto me in righteousness [truth], and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

Isaiah 55
1 Ho, every one that thirsts, come you to the waters, and he that has no money; come you, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

6 Seek you the LORD while he may be found, call you upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Psalms 58
1 Do you indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do you judge uprightly, O you sons of men?
2 Yea, in heart you work wickedness; you weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stops her ear;
5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
7 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bends his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

Psalms 27
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Jude

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only LORD God, and our LORD Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The LORD rebuke you.

18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling [harpazo – the true event the false prophets have twisted into their rapture idol – to which they force all to bow and worship] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

29 He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he brings them unto their desired haven.

32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
33 He turns rivers into a wilderness, and the water-springs into dry ground;
34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35 He turns the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into water-springs.
36 And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
38 He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffers not their cattle to decrease.
39 Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
40 He pours contempt upon princes, and causes them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
41 Yet sets he the poor on high from affliction, and makes him families like a flock.
42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

The title verse, as we saw in the prior post, is Zechariah 3:8 and comes just after the LORD’s messenger has told the now cleansed priesthood, if they will walk in His ways and will keep the charge He has given them, they will “also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.”

As we saw, this latter part of walking among those who stand by, is telling of the charge Jonah was given, which he finally kept by preaching the coming destruction and the repentance that could prevent it. The LORD speaks of this same preaching and repentance in Matthew 12:41 as He told of the men of Nineveh rising up in judgment with this generation and condemning it. We know Nineveh’s meaning tells of the son who is as Eve, describing the church which rises from its sleep, where it has been as a dead carcass without any signs of life, and in going becomes as if the mother of all living.

Matthew 12
37 For by your words you shall be justified [preaching as the LORD has charged us], and by your words you shall be condemned.
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from you.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah:
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41 The men of Nineveh shall rise [awaken to life] in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.

The sign spoken of is the church rising, as LORD in them calls all men to repentance, in the judgment. This is what the church has been ignorant of, even though seeing and hearing it. Repentance is the change all must undergo, and is the mystery Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 15, when the corrupt put on the uncorrupted, and the mortal puts on immortality.

Acts 17
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent:
31 Because he has appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained; whereof he has given assurance unto all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.

1 Corinthians 15
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

The sign is spoken of in Zechariah 3:8 (the title) as “men wondered at.” The Hebrew word rendered “wondered” is mowpheth, and is referring us to its appearing in Isaiah 8:18, and the same context seen in its uses in Ezekiel 12:6 & 11, and 24:24 & 27.

In Isaiah, it is telling of when the LORD has called us away from the corrupt advice coming from the confederation of the ignorant, which has produce darkness and anguish that covers the earth. Those who gather instead to the LORD, outside these defiled and worthless institutions, are said to be signs and wonder to God’s people at large (to Nineveh).

In Ezekiel 12 Ezekiel is told to leave these same places, as a sign, which will be seen and heard, but by most, not understood, as it is this day.

In this context, see and hear what is said in Ezekiel 24, “and when this comes, you shall know that I am the LORD God.”

Ezekiel 24
18 So I spoke unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died [the church died, freeing the LORD to take another]; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19 And the people said unto me, Will you not tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?
20 Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus says the LORD God; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left shall fall by the sword.
22 And you shall do as I have done: you shall not cover your lips [you shall preach as the LORD has charged you], nor eat the bread [the preaching] of men.
23 And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet [for journeying away from the corrupt places]: you shall not mourn nor weep; but you shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.
24 Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign [mowpheth]: according to all that he has done shall you do: and when this comes, you shall know that I am the LORD God.
25 Also, you son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
26 That he that escapes in that day shall come unto you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
27 In that day shall your mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and you shall speak, and be no more dumb: and you shall be a sign [mowpheth] unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

The LORD says this is the only sign that will be given, as Isaiah describes it, “I and the children the LORD has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel.” Israel is telling of this being a sign first to and then in those who will reign on the earth with and by God in them.

Isaiah 8
7 Now therefore, behold, the LORD brings up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria [the communists], and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
8 And he shall pass through Judah [the places of leadership]; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel.
9 Associate yourselves [become communists], O you people, and you shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all you of far countries: gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces.
10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to naught; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
11 For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
12 Say you not, A confederacy [join in communism], to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear you their fear, nor be afraid.
13 Sanctify [separate yourself to] the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
14 And he shall be for a sanctuary [a place of peace and safety]; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hides his face [see Ezekiel 12:6 & 12 below] from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders [mowpheth] in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwells in mount Zion [who reigns in His people].
19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter [the deception and manipulation spewed from the fake news media and all the other corrupt sources of information and teaching]: should not a people seek unto their God? [Should they be necromancing, looking for life] for the living to the dead?
20 [Or should they be looking] To the law and to the testimony[?]: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light [understanding] in them.
21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

Ezekiel 12
1 The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, you dwells in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.
3 Therefore, you son of man, prepare you stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and you shall remove from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.
4 Then shall you bring forth your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and you shall go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.
5 Dig you through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.
6 In their sight shall you bear it upon your shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: you shall cover your face, that you see not the ground: for I have set you for a sign [mowpheth] unto the house of Israel.
7 And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
8 And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
9 Son of man, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto you, What do you?
10 Say you unto them, Thus saith the LORD God; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.
11 Say, I am your sign [mowpheth]: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.
12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.
13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.
14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.
15 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.
16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
17 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18 Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with carefulness;
19 And say unto the people of the land, Thus says the LORD God of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.
20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
21 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
22 Son of man, what is that proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision fails?
23 Tell them therefore, Thus says the LORD God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, says the LORD God.
26 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying.
27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of the times that are far off.
28 Therefore say unto them, Thus says the LORD God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, says the LORD God.

Friends, this hasn’t happened as the false prophets and the false preachers said it would, and it never will because they made it all up from whole cloth. All must repent of this corruption, and without repentance, they will never see the LORD.

Jonah 2
8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
9 But I will sacrifice unto you with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
10 And the LORD spoke unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Jonah 3
1 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid you.
3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey.
4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

This is the same wonder spoken of in Joel 2:30, which is quoted in Acts 2 as the tongues of men were loosed and every man spoke plainly, of what Joel had spoken.

Joel 2
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, “Spare your people, O LORD, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?”
18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send [I have sent] you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savor shall come up, because he has done great things.
21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
22 Be not afraid, you beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
23 Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27 And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
30 And I will shew wonders [mowpheth] in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Acts 2
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. [as did Jonah to Nineveh]
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God [the great things spoken of in Joel 2:21 above].
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What means this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, You men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days [these days – now], says God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness [the church without understanding – unable to understand the words of God], and the moon into blood [government draining life from men], before the great and notable day of the LORD come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.
22 You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs [which you have witnessed], which God did by him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it.
25 For David speaks concerning him [see Psalms 16 below], I foresaw the LORD always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the ways of life; you shall make me full of joy with your countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he has shed forth this, which you now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he says himself, The LORD said unto my LORD, Sit you on my right hand,
35 Until I make your foes your footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made the same Jesus, whom you have crucified, both LORD and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, [and I say again, Repent] and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the LORD added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Psalms 16
1 Preserve me, O God: for in you do I put my trust.
2 O my soul, you have said unto the LORD, You are my LORD: my goodness extends not to you;
3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: you maintain my lot.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 For you will not leave my soul in hell; neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption.
11 You will shew me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Isaiah 57
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.

The above is from Psalms 84:10, a Psalm that describes the anointed entering the presence of the LORD, and the blessing found there, in the mission of bringing others to the same doorway.

Psalms 84
1 How amiable are your tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yea, even faints for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3 (Yea, the sparrow has found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,) even your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in your house: they will be still praising you. Selah.
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in you; in whose heart are the ways of them.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca [low places of weeping] make it a well [a place from where can be drawn these living waters]; the rain [word of God from heaven] also fills the pools.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appears before God.
8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
9 Behold, O God our shield [who protects us from the lies and accusation of the wicked], and look upon the face of your anointed.
10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield [who give us light, understanding, which protects us from the enemies]: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in you.

The “courts” spoken of in verses 2 & 10 above are the Hebrew word chatser, and speak of where the glory and grace of the LORD is revealed as He appears there for Judgment.

It is the court spoken of in Ezekiel 43:5, where the glory of the LORD appears at the east gate, as the sun rising and shining His unique, the only valid, understanding. His light is what carries us into His courts, as we understand the vision seen by the river Chebar, which we know speak of the events of the past revealing the events of our time, flowing from eternity, and seen as a wheel within a wheel. We know, because we have seen, it is speaking of our time and this very moment.

Ezekiel 43
1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east:
2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw [the wheels, which were understood as events within events, times within a time, now rightly divided in our time] by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
5 So the spirit [as a doorkeeper] took me up, and brought me into the inner court [chatser]; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their high places.
8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
10 You son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.
16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.
17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.
18 And he said unto me, Son of man, thus says the LORD God; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
19 And you shall give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok [righteousness], which approach unto me, to minister unto me, says the LORD God, a young bullock for a sin offering.
20 And you shall take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shall you cleanse and purge it.
21 You shall take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
22 And on the second day you shall offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
23 When you have made an end of cleansing it, you shall offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
24 And you shall offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
25 Seven days shall you prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.
26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, says the LORD God.

This purge into holiness and the cleansing of the priesthood are what Zechariah speaks of in Zachariah 3, which we have often discussed as representing the priesthood restored, patterned in Joshua, whose name is Jesus and therefore describes the body of Christ, here and now. We have seen that after the holy garments of the priest are put on, the LORD’s messenger again tells him, “If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts [chatser], and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.”

The “place to walk” is from what is said to be a one-time used word mahlek, which is virtually the same as the four-times used word mahalak, which appears as the word “journey” twice in Jonah 3. We know this is after he comes to his senses, from the belly of hell, overcomes the troubles agitating the masses: the winds of false doctrine, and returns to His mission. It is telling of the three days Jonah preached, warned, of the impending doom, which in our time is the self-destruction that is coming by following the ignorance of the communists, into the false utopia we know is the mass misery of hell. (These preachers of communism should be seen side by side with Venezuela – the only reason they aren’t, is the fake news media is so intent on hating us, as we see and know, they are willing to even destroy the nation to destroy us.)

1 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
2 Arise, go unto Nineveh [the son who will come to life, and become the church, the mother of all living], that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid you.

Zechariah 3

8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.
9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, says the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10 In that day, says the LORD of hosts, shall you call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.

The “valley” of Baca mentioned in Psalms 84 is referring us to Joel, where in Joel 1:5 the word bakah, the origin of the one-time used name Baca, appears as the drunkards are called to awaken and to “weeping.” The passage is telling of the communists, who with the intention to destroy our nation and culture, infiltrated our every institution and corrupted them with their poisonous ideas and induced ignorance.

Joel 1
1 The word of the LORD that came to Joel [Jehovah is God] the son of Pethuel [the vision of God – seeing as He sees].
2 Hear this, you old men, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the land. Has this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?

4 That which the palmerworm has left has the locust eaten; and that which the locust has left has the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm has left has the caterpiller eaten.
5 Awake, you drunkards, and weep [bakah]; and howl, all you drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth [the ideas that have made you blind, ignorant and confused have been destroyed by the light of God’s vision, understanding].
6 For a nation [communists – calling themselves liberals, progressives, and socialists] is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the cheek teeth of a great lion.
7 He has laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he has made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth [who think Christ is dead].
9 The meat offering and the drink offering [truth] is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD’s ministers, mourn.
10 The field is wasted, the land mourns; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languishes.
11 Be you ashamed, O you husbandmen; howl, O you vinedressers, [you stewards in who the LORD gave charge, to watch over and keep His truth, as it was given you] for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
19 O LORD, to you will I cry: for the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field.

The word bakah appears next in Joel 2:17, where the LORD calls the priests, the ministers of the LORD, those who are earlier called to awaken and to weeping, here telling them what to weep. This comes after the trumpet is sounded in Zion, signalling it is the day of the LORD. Verse 2 then tells us it is a day of darkness and gloominess, and that before the communists the land was like Eden and now it is desolate. The chapter goes on to say because of these men’s invasion the sun, moon, and stars have been darkened, which we know tells of the understanding of God’s people, His church, and His government, turned to ignorance and confusion – by following idiocy into what has become an idiocracy.

Joel 2
1 Blow you the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD comes, for it is nigh at hand;
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

The “valley” spoken of in Psalms 84 above, where this word of God has been sent, is then described in Joel 3: first called the valley of Jehoshaphat, and then the valley of decision. The decision is this, the LORD has been manifested before your eyes and the eyes of the world, they will reject and deny Him, will you? Will you be one who misses Him, again; or will you rise from the ashes and darkness to meet Him? It’s time to decide.

1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat [where Jehovah has Judged and is Judging], and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
4 Yea, and what have you to do with me, O Tyre [false rock in whom this people vainly trust], and Zidon [who have hunted and taken God’s people captive], and all the coasts of Palestine [this land through which we have journeyed – these three days]? will you render me a recompense? and if you recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompense upon your own head;

Psalms 44

Psalms 120

5 Woe is me, that I sojourn [stop in my journey] in Mesech [those the LORD has drawn into open sight], that I dwell in the tents of Kedar [darkness – ignorance and confusion]!

The above is speaking of no longer walking, acting, according to ignorance, as do other ethnos, from the word etho, meaning the way something is used, by manner or custom. The word ethnos means all people whose ideas and actions prove them to not know God. In Ephesians 4, verses 18 & 19, which follow the title verse, tell us “18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart [reasoning mind]: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”

The Greek word rendered “lasciviousness” is aselgeia, meaning incontinent: unable to control what comes out of them, lacking self-governing or self-control. It is referring the ideas and mannerisms of a more primitive state, previously learned, taught by those who merely see people as meant to be used (controlled as useful idiots – as say the communists) by the words, ideas, that are the means of manipulation. As we have seen in previous discussions, these are the real wizards, sorcerers and enchanters, controlling man by their words: spells reducing them to nothing more than their beasts of burden. They spread the same darkness, the same venom the serpent spewed from the beginning; and the ethnos, as necromancers, even if now unwittingly, communing with the spirit of death, are taught into ignorance, to be used, and cover the world (humanity) in the shadow death casts.

The “feeling” spoken of in verse 19 above is telling of understanding the spiritual touch of the LORD’s teaching, as opposed to corrupt ideas of the natural man. We know those teaching these ideas, as Jude verse 10 says, are the children of Satan – the serpent. “10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.”

Ephesians 4
20 But you have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That you put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.
26 Be you angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying [educating], that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

In earlier verses of Ephesians 4, Paul tells us exactly how this touch, teaching, of the LORD comes, and how we, by the winds of false doctrines, are led astray. As we have seen in our studies of Genesis 28 and the means the LORD uses to keep us on course: Jacob seeing it as God’s messengers ascending and descending from heaven as if on a ladder. Paul tells us this is Christ, bringing gifts to us from God, which are for the education of those who will become His children of God by receiving and putting on the same mind.

Ephesians 3
1 For this cause I Paul [I Timothy], the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles [the ethnos – those being held down in darkness, to be used by sepents],
2 If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4 Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6 That the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Isaiah 13
13 The burden of Babylon [confusion come from ignorance], which Isaiah [who Jehovah has saved] the son of Amoz [the son of {God’s} strength] did see.
2 Lift you up a banner [nec – the pole upon which the LORD’s serpent is raised, whose words destroy the power of the words of men] upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travails: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

12 I will make a man [the son of man – I am] more precious [in my Father’s eyes] than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Ephesians 2
1 And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit [of ignorance] that now works in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Revelation 7
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations [ethnos], and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

When John, above in verse 9, tells of those who have come out of tribulation having “palms” in their hands, he uses the Greek word phoinix, which only appears one other time, in John 12:13 where John is referring us for absolute clarity of context.

John 12
12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm [phoinix] trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that comes in the name of the LORD.
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass [a beast of burden, which he had commanded to be set free from its owner], sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, your King comes, sitting on an ass’s colt.
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
17 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
18 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive you how you prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
44 Jesus cried and said, He that believes on me, believes not on me, but on him that sent me.
45 And he that sees me sees him that sent me.
46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Friends, these aren’t vain words; they are the Father in me speaking of now, this moment.

Psalms 119
172 My tongue shall speak of your word: for all your commandments are righteousness.
173 Let your hand help me; for I have chosen your precepts.
174 I have longed for your salvation, O LORD; and your law is my delight.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise you; and let your judgments help me.

Isaiah 53

Revelation 22
1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations [ethnos].

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Psalms 15
1 LORD, who shall abide in your tabernacle? who shall dwell in your holy hill?
2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honors them that fear the LORD. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not [the unreasonable and wicked men, who refuse to repent, and instead call God a liar – they have chosen hell and hell they will have].
5 He that puts not out his money to usury [who doesn’t charge for preaching God’s word – which they are freely given], nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

The title is verses 13 & 14 of Psalms 27, which end the Psalm and were the last verses of the previous post. The Psalm itself was added by the LORD, as His witness to the ideas espoused in the body of the post, giving it His supernatural seal of approval. At this, I marveled and praised His Holy name.

The post spoke of the blindness that covers the world, described the cause of the darkness, which is as the shadow of death. We saw it comes as men forget God and His ways, follow instead the advice of serpents, and eating the fruit they prescribe, redefine good into evil and evil into good. As we know, written in Genesis, this long train (river) of systematic degenerative events, themselves showing the undeniable order of the creation, as warned from the beginning, the endless fall into depravity, as if into a bottomless pit, ends in the death of the humanity by his own hand.
 
It is into this darkness the LORD appears as our blind eyes and deaf ears are healed and we see and hear what has always been present but hidden in our ignorance. 
 
John 1 
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shined in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.

28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
30 This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Ghost.
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;
36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!
37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

Of the many substantive intricacies of this passage, such as references to seeing, hearing, and standing, the information transmitted in the names must be noted. When John is asked if he is Elijah, the name itself answers the question, its meaning Jehovah is God. When he is asked if he is that prophet it is referring to the prophet spoken of in Deuteronomy 18:18, who the LORD says (through Moses) He will send and in whose words the people will again see and hear the LORD’s voice. 
 
Deuteronomy 18
9 When you are come [now] into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
10 There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. [As we know, these speaks of sacrificing children to the idols, meaning everything from abortion to allowing them to be influenced and taught by the corrupted and deadly ways of the culture opposite God. We know the thought to be fictional characters mentioned speak of those who use varying forms and words and deceptions to enchant, mislead, and manipulate both child and adult. It finally defines this as interaction with the dead, from whom can only come advice that produces after its own kind, more death.]
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you.
13 You shall be perfect with the LORD your God [which occurs by understanding we are in the presence of the LORD, who teaches us into good and away from the evil].
14 For these nations, which you shall possess, hearkened unto observers of times [relativism], and unto diviners [those who manipulate by saying they know what will come in the future]: but as for you, the LORD your God has not suffered you so to do.
15 The LORD your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken;
16 According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
17 And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.
 
The name Bethabara, in John 1:28 above, is from the Hebrew words beth, which we know means house, and (here again) family; and the word ‘abarah, a one-time used word meaning a crossing place, from the word ‘abar, meaning to cross over. Bethabara in the passage is speaking of the place where the Jordan is crossed and is said to mean the ferry house. 
 
The name Jordan is from yarad, meaning descend or to go downward. It (the river) begins in the Lebanon (Anti-Lebanon) mountains, which we know mean purity, as in the white cap seen on high; and ends at the dead sea (the earth’s lowest elevation on land). As we know the sea represents the masses of people, and by this, we understand the dead sea as where the descent from purity (the fall of man) gathers all men, as if carrying them in the river of death, and ending in the place where all are dead (now). 
 
The crossing over this river is speaking of not being swept away by it, but instead crossing into life, John himself by his baptism preparation, as if himself the ferry, bringing us to the other side to the LORD who gives us life.

Hear is the supernatural revelation, the only time the Hebrew word ‘abarah appears is in 2 Samuel 19:18 when David’s family, His household, crosses the Jordan. 

I am not going to comment on the passage. Its meaning will be clearly seen if you have read the previous posts, and understand the meaning of Deuteronomy 18’s ending. This is the event coming to pass.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the LORD so comes as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

18 And there went over a ferry boat [‘abarah] to carry over the king’s household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;
19 And said unto the king, Let not my LORD impute iniquity unto me, neither do you remember that which your servant did perversely the day that my LORD the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.
20 For your servant does know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my LORD the king.
21 But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the LORD’s anointed?
22 And David said, What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah, that you should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?
23 Therefore the king said unto Shimei, You shall not die. And the king swore unto him.
24 And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in peace.

1 And David spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence.

The wicked among us use and twist the law to accuse, convict, and sentence only those who stand in the way of their lawlessness and corruption of justice. (Woe to those who declaring evil good and good evil). It is the beam in the eye of the wicked, which disqualifies them from sitting in seats of judgment and invalidate the rulings of those already seated.

What we understand is that the law has a spirit, meaning what it was intended to produce, which is peace and civilization: an order that promotes justice and under which men are secure in their life, liberty, and property (which we understand is what the Constitution, in the Preamble and Article 1, Section 8, describes as the “General Welfare.”)

As we know the wicked twist law so they are able to victimize those they first demonize, those who aren’t dependent on the plunders of oppression. We know this evil begins as people (such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) stir up prejudice against those whose achievement they accuse, and then set out to convict and sentence by the use of laws they claim will punish these offenders.

We know this twisting of law, reversing its spirit from good to evil, is the underlying warning against eating from the tree (of good and evil) in the garden. We understand it was incited by listening to and following the bad advice of one there called a serpent, who we also know represents Satan. We have seen this name comes from an identical Hebrew word satan, meaning to attack and accuse, and tells of the methods of those who oppose God’s teaching: the ways of peace and security (civilization).

As often discussed, this Divine teaching flows directly from God as the first the light (understanding), spoken of in Genesis 1:3, coming into the darkness (ignorance and confusion) covering the earth. We have seen its meaning contained in the Hebrew words yara’ shalam, that compounded produce the name Jerusalem; yara’, meaning to flow from (God), and by extension meaning teaching and foundation; and shalam, meaning peace, as in a reciprocal security, in life, liberty, and estate (property).

Friends, these are the ideas of good, which are corrupted when men with an evil spirit seek to undermine this order, to elevate themselves to power by deceiving people into following their corrupt leading. As we were warned of Genesis, the end of following this leadership is the death of humanity. You cannot victimize one group, by false accusation, no matter how popular the prejudice you’ve created becomes, and from it produce civilization.

I often quote the words of President Calvin Coolidge (because they can’t be said any better than he said them) when he speaks of these Godly ideas of advanced civilization, as stated in our Declaration of Independence. He said, “About the Declaration there is a finality that is exceedingly restful. It is often asserted that the world has made a great deal of progress since 1776, that we have had new thoughts and new experiences which have given us a great advance over the people of that day, and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something more modern. But that reasoning can not be applied to this great charter. If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people. Those who wish to proceed in that direction can not lay claim to progress. They are reactionary. Their ideas are not more modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers.”

In this speech of July 5, 1926, Coolidge also speaks of the conclusions the Founders came to, which was part of a “bottom up” movement that originated in the hearts and minds of the people. After saying, “They were a people who came under the influence of a great spiritual development and acquired a great moral power,” he concluded with the following reminder and warning:

“No other theory is adequate to explain or comprehend the Declaration of Independence. It is the product of the spiritual insight of the people. We live in an age of science and of abounding accumulation of material things. These did not create our Declaration. Our Declaration created them. The things of the spirit come first. Unless we cling to that, all our material prosperity, overwhelming though it may appear, will turn to a barren scepter in our grasp. If we are to maintain the great heritage which has been bequeathed to us, we must be like minded as the fathers who created it. We must not sink into a pagan materialism. We must cultivate the reverence which they had for the things that are holy. We must follow the spiritual and moral leadership which they showed. We must keep replenished, that they may glow with a more compelling flame, the altar fires before which they worshipped.”

We see, we understand by our truthful examination of reality, these warnings have not been heeded and the foretold end result is undeniably upon us. The nation, the world has followed the advice, the words from the mouths that defile, of men who say they have better (progressive) ideas, when they are in fact afflicted by the same-old historically contagious blindness.

Matthew 15
7 You hypocrites, well did Isaiah [29:13] prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart [their foundation of reason] is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men [which is the corruption that corrupts and defiles – the contagion].
10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11 Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defile a man [showing the speaker is defiled, and defiles/corrupts the hearer].
12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Know you that the Pharisees [those with ashes on their forehead, and in the minds] were offended, after they heard this saying?
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

The original text says “leave them,” because if you follow, continue with them, you will fall when they inevitably do.

When the LORD, in verse 8 above, quotes Isaiah 29:13 he is speaking directly to those who have twisted truth and by it blinded themselves to the fact that they have self-destructed. Now is the time all will awaken to find they have been led into ignorance by ignorance, and followed the corrupt into corruption.

6 You shall be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
7 And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel [this nation under God], even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.
8 It shall even be as when a hungry man dreams [and is deceived by his own stupefied mind], and, behold, he eats; but he awakes, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreams, and, behold, he drinks; but he awakes, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul has appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion [this place and the LORD’s reign].
9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry you out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
10 For the LORD has poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers has he covered [with/by their own darkness/ignorance].
11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says, I am not learned.
13 Wherefore the LORD said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me [have removed God’s ways far from being their foundation of thinking], and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men [they don’t teach men to fear His warnings, because they are true, and ignoring them leads to blindness and self-destruction]:
14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder [to save them from the advice, the contagion, that has caused their blindness]: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? and who knows us?
16 Surely your turning of things upside down [reversal of good and evil] shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon [purity in high places] shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest [many there shall become upright]?
18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book [this word of God], and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
19 The meek [we who have the power to destroy but instead we build – a new heaven and earth, wherein dwells righteousness] also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel [because He comes for their good, and to free them from their captivity].
20 For the terrible [the tyrants] one is brought to naught, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity [who look for ways to abuse the law] are cut off:
21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproves in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught.
22 Therefore thus says the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale [he shall not faint].
23 But when he sees his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
24 They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Friends, though I have the power to shake heaven and earth, if I don’t continue in this charity, freely giving this understand as the LORD has given me, I become as nothing.

1 Corinthians 16
9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10 Now if Timothy come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he works the work of the LORD, as I also do.
11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12 As touching our brother Apollos [the one who will rise upon you as the sun], I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time [eukaireo – an appointed time of good, when the blindness is made well].
13 Watch you, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong [don’t be faint].
14 Let all your things be done with charity.

This passage is speaking of gathering together, now. The word peri, rendered “touching” in verse 12 above, is the same translated “concerning” in 1 Corinthians 16:1. It is telling of the good time, when the corrupt have put on incorruption, and by this, the mortal has put on immortality. It is telling of gathering out of the places of corruption and into Jerusalem. This is the intended meaning, the plan of God revealed in His word, this book that has been sealed and is now opened, at the gate so we can enter the city.

1 Corinthians 15
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the LORD.

1 Corinthians 16
1 Now concerning [peri the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do you.
2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3 And when I come, whomsoever you shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

The title above is Proverbs 28:5 & 6, and is also the word of God sent for this moment in time, to strengthen and raise us to meet Him, at this appointed time.

Proverbs 28
1 The wicked flee when no man pursues: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
3 A poor man that oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaves no food.
4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6 Better is the poor that walks in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

8 He that by usury and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9 He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Habakkuk 2
9 Woe to him that covets an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
10 You have consulted shame to your house by cutting off many people, and have sinned against your soul.
11 For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
12 Woe to him that builds a town with blood, and establishes a city by iniquity!
13 Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labor in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?

We have all seen Sci-Fi movies where some catastrophic event is coming, some obscure character is warning of its impending doom, and no one listens until it’s too late. Little did we know these movies themselves and almost all others, made by those whose minds were already twisted by a cultural reversal, were intended to alter society’s thinking and cause it to sheepishly surrender to the real threat as it occurred. The reversal was, is, the demoralization of America, meaning the complete flipping of the standards of good and evil, an intentionally corrupted conscience creating man without a conscience, confused and lacking any will or ability to self-govern.

Many years ago a Russian defector, Yuri Bezmenov, warned America of the real Russian (USSR) conspiracy – to demoralize America. As he explained, with intention, it infiltrated all institutions of education, government, religion, entertainment, economy, etc. to poison the minds of our youth. He said it was to turn their minds to “mush” so they were unable to think and reason, and that all they would know is the twisted unreal information they had been fed. He said when the process was complete, no matter what you showed them that proved their thinking wrong, they would reject it and do so only because it contradicted what they had been forced (programmed) to believe.

Today we see this is reality, which has now possibly reached its tipping point, the majority of power centralized in the hands of the products of this demoralization process, who now, by their rejection of justice and equality, are forcing their ignorant will on a narrowing majority: we who refuse their delusional and lawless thinking.

Make no mistake, these people have no plan for the future that goes beyond destroying the culture they have been irrationally hardened against. This is true in everything from immigration to socialism, all pointless and illogical, until we understand this is its intention – to collapse the system. The useful idiots, those pushing hardest for these transformations, believe they are doing it for some greater purpose. Their thinking is based on what they have been forced to believe, without question, and any information to the contrary is to be rejected; if it refuses to cease, censored; if it will not be silenced, attacked and destroyed.

The conspiracy, the conspirators, knew that our own laws, the extreme liberty guaranteed in our Constitution, and most of all – free speech, could be used against us, and they did. They also knew that once they used these to force us into silence through ridiculed and demonization, forced us to keep quiet about our morals and our standards so theirs could be heard, the reversal, the demoralization, would be complete. Then, now, they ignore our laws, our sovereignty, our rights, as they rush headlong to finish their work: collapse the system in its entirety and remove any who stand in their way. I think they may succeed.

This is their miscalculation, and why I thank God, for the wisdom He gave to our Founding Fathers and the inner fire He put in His children, to be awakened when needed.

This is the future, the plan we all know, of where we go when it all collapses. This is when these wicked men realize the suicide was theirs, and it comes by what they, even though warned against going there, brought upon themselves.

Friends, there is a war coming. The other side will never stop and will use any means to collapse the system. This is their prime directive, and they have no idea why. Their ignorance, their inability of forethought, also keeps them from seeing the end. They don’t understand that when they bring this, we will rise up and destroy every last one of them, or force them from our borders and out of our country.

This is the end that comes when the warnings of its coming are ignored. This is the reality we must face. Plan accordingly.

Proverbs 6
5 Deliver yourself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

21 Bind them continually upon your heart, and tie them about your neck.

Jeremiah 46
25 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, says; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:
26 And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon [their own confusion and false expectations], and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, says the LORD.
27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
28 Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, says the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven you: but I will not make a full end of you, but correct you in measure; yet will I not leave you wholly unpunished.

The above, the final verse of the previous post and the last verse of Zechariah 2, is calling all the world to stop listening to the ignorance of corrupted men and to instead hear the LORD who has Raised Himself up to Raise us. The following verse then describes the bad advice as coming from Satan, a name from the identical Hebrew word used in the same verse and rendered “resist.” There it is telling of when the LORD, as now, comes to cleanse His priesthood, there called Joshua, the Hebrew version of the name Jesus, meaning the personification of Jehovah’s Salvation; and Satan, who is there standing at the right hand of Joshua, to resist the cleansing.

This Satanic advice to resist the LORD’s work is the spirit of disobedience and rebellion against God, which we know Paul describes in Ephesians 2:2, where he speaks of our being once held in death by this same power. Above, speaking of Zechariah 2:13 and 3:1, as in Paul’s description, we understand this is the quickening that is the same raising and purification that comes when the voices of disobedience are silenced by our refusal to hear (be moved by) their sound (air).

1 And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)
6 And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Zechariah 3
1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist [satan] him.
2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke you, O Satan; even the LORD that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire [referred to in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 & 17, and in Jude 23]?
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4 And he answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. [Again, Jude 23 And others save with fear, pulling {harpazo, “caught up”} them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.] And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment [the defiled and corrupted changed into the holy and uncorrupted].
5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments [the cleansed garments of the priest]. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
6 And the angel of the LORD protested [reiterated] unto Joshua, saying,
7 Thus says the LORD of hosts; If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.
8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.
9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, says the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Zechariah 4
1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep [as Jacob was awakened, recorded in Genesis 28:16, when he realized the LORD keeps us, when we stray, by sending men with His word, to bring us again to Him by His Spirit correcting our course].
2 And said unto me, What see you? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4 So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my LORD?
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my LORD.
6 Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel [those brought to life by coming out of darkness: confusion and ignorance], saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
7 Who are you, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you.
10 For who has despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth [gathering knowledge – of God and His ways of peace and truth {Jerusalem – the city build on this foundation}].
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches [again referring is to the dove and understand this is the destination reached] which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my LORD.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones [kings and priests raise up by God], that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

The references above to awakening from sleep, to understanding, is the point Paul is making in 1 Thessalonians 4 when in verse 13 he says he is enlightening us so we are not ignorant of (or as) those who are asleep. He goes on in the following chapter to say those who are asleep are those in darkness and in it drunken.

1 Thessalonians 4
9 But as touching brotherly love you need not that I write unto you: for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10 And indeed you do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia [the place {churches} where dead flesh is housed]: but we beseech you, brethren, that you increase more and more;
11 And that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12 That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that you may have lack of nothing.
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up [harpazo] together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air [of obedience, hearing His voice]: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the LORD so comes as a thief in the night [the LORD comes in a time of which the ignorant are ignorant].
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety [when they think they are Jerusalem, but lack the only foundation {stone} that can produce peace and safety]; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our LORD Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify [educate to this truth] one another, even as also you do.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the LORD, and admonish you;

Matthew 5
8 Blessed are the pure in heart [whose minds are not defiled]: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness [truth and equity] shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees [the false preachers and false teachers of corruption], you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Friends, what we are talking about is the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. These are the voices: God’s voice, small in this world only hearing its own shouts. “For who has despised the day of small things?”

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the [our] flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesses not [denies] that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them.
6 We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Jude
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling [harpazo] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Of the six times the Hebrew word satan appears, three occur in Psalms 109, all translated as “adversaries.” As above, Psalms 109 is speaking of Satan as the spirit of error who is opposing and resisting the LORD through and in these wicked men. When reading the Psalm we see its parallels with the word of God’s truth above.

Psalms 109
1 Hold not your peace, O God of my praise;
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
4 For my love they are my adversaries [satan]: but I give myself unto prayer.
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6 Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
11 Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labor.
12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children.
13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:
27 That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
28 Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice.
29 Let mine adversaries [satan] be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

When the LORD tells of those who speak against the Holy Spirit not being forgiven, it’s because He is the Spirit of Truth, and these men hate the truth because it exposes them and brings their deeds of error into the light. This is what Jude is speaking of above in verse 10, saying they speak evil of the things (the truth) they know not. We know Paul, in 2 Thessalonians 2, speaks of these same men as the wicked who perish, because they receive not the love of the truth. He also plainly says these wicked men are those who have come after the working of Satan, with lying signs and wonders (speaking of the end times lies and misdirection of the false prophets, and the faked healing of the many false preachers, those who continue to shout and put on shows, claiming it is the LORD (the Holy Spirit) while it’s a lie, and as they oppose the true LORD in our flesh).

The true sign is this truth in us, the understanding that only comes from the LORD’s manifested presence in those who (as He commanded) have loved and kept His word.

Isaiah 8
12 Say you not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear you their fear, nor be afraid.
13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
14 And he shall be for a sanctuary [a place of peace and safety]; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

The LORD began (His teaching) today in Psalms 119:63, which speaks of those who are “companion” to those who fear the LORD and keep His commandment. As we understand, fearing the LORD means we believe His warning of the consequence (self-destruction) that comes when following the vain ideas of ignorant men.

Psalms 119
57 Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep Your words.
58 I entreated Your favor with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to Your word.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto Your testimonies.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep Your commandments.
61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten Your law.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto You because of Your righteous judgments.
63 I am a companion of all them that fear You, and of them that keep Your precepts.
64 The earth, O LORD, is full of Your mercy: teach me Your statutes.
65 You have dealt well with Your servant, O Lord, according unto Your word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed Your commandments.

As we saw in the previous post and many before it, Jonah, in the belly of hell, realized the vow he strayed from and awakened to keep it. His thinking, recorded in Jonah 2, are contextually associated with the above portion of Psalms 119 and our ongoing conversation regarding how the LORD keeps us.

As discussed in previous posts, Nineveh represents an ignorant society, such as the modern popular culture, to which Jonah was sent with truth and understanding. Above, in the title, Matthew 12:41, we see the LORD speaking of the men of Nineveh, who understanding and heeding the LORD’s warning, changed their course and joining Him in calling this generation to the same correction.

Matthew 12
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother [they are Bethel: the house, family, of God].

The following is the post from 11 May 2018. The truth then is the truth now, the ignorance and rebellion continue, the unreasonable refuse reason, and the nation, the world, slides deeper and deeper into the consequences. Again, I say, REPENT!

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.

The title is from Nahum 1:7, where we are told of the tribulation when the only refuge is the LORD. This is the word of God for this day of trouble and great tribulation.

Nahum 1
1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
2 God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan languishes, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languishes.
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.
8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
9 What do you imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

The name Nahum is from the Hebrew word nacham, which tells of him as a comforter and avenger, both coming by the same events herein defined. We see it is the LORD comforting those He knows are His and taking vengeance on His adversaries, those later described as the “many” who are following the counsel of the wicked. Nahum is the son of El (God) qoshet, meaning an equal balance, therefore judging with equity, truth, and fidelity.

The time spoken of here is “when the rocks are thrown down by Him;” when “with an overrunning flood He will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue His enemies.” It is to Nineveh, a place known for its turmoil and ignorance, in pattern where the da’g (fish) agitating the sea (the people) has swallowed up God’s message and messengers: those called to preach repentance.

This takes us to the LORD’s telling of when the men of Nineveh will rise, and condemn this generation. (Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.) Nineveh appears to be from the Hebrew word niyn, meaning son, and the same as Eve, chavah, meaning to live, and therefore to declare and show (life). It is the church, in pattern and character, the mother of all the living.

In case you haven’t read the prior posts, this is the message we are to preach first. The LORD, after making the above statement follows by telling of the swept house, which is speaking of a person’s state at repentance. He goes on to tell of the corrupted ways of the corrupted church, and the cleansed man taking in these ideas his later state is worse than the first. Nineveh herself, the church herself is called to repent, first, by Christ and His elect remnant, so she can rise and call all the world to repentance and offer better ideas of God’s truth. Then she will be a son (niyn) who is also the mother (Chavah) of all living.

15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
16 And charged them that they should not make him known:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he sends forth judgment unto victory.
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
44 Then he says, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he finds it empty, swept, and garnished.
45 Then goes he, and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, your mother and your brethren stand without, desiring to speak with you.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

The LORD says, in verse 17 above, what is fulfilled in this is what Isaiah says, and then quotes Isaiah 42:1 thru 3. Isaiah there speaks of the LORD and the elect remnant God has sent with Him. The remnant are the blind servant spoken of, who seeing many things (here) still do not understand the greater picture occurring around them. “I and the children God has given me are for signs and wonders” They don’t see they are the sign and their blindness until now is an undeniable witness to what Isaiah says.

The smoking flax is speaking a wick in an oil lamp, which needs to be raised so it will not go out and instead burn brighter, giving greater light. That is you, mine elect.

Isaiah 42
1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles [those not knowing God, never having been taught].
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he has set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
5 Thus says God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
6 I the LORD have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.
14 I have long time held my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light [bring understanding to the ignorant] before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, You are our gods.
18 Hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see.
19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?
20 Seeing many things, but you observe not; opening the ears, but he hears not.
21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honorable.
22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses [churches]: they are for a prey, and none delivers; for a spoil, and none says, Restore.
23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
24 Who gave Jacob [The LORD’s rebel house – not knowing Him] for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
25 Therefore he has poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it has set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

The blind are those held in the belly of hell, unable to see because of the lying vanities of those who forsake their own mercy. These are words of Jonah as he was engulfed in the agitation and tribulation caused by the untruth of those forsaking correction. He, when eventually seeing, after turning his eyes to the LORD, understood salvation only comes from the LORD; and after repenting, he went on His mission. We know he then preached repentance, as the church must now preach it. This is the judgment that must begin at the house of God (Jacob – the rebels wrestling with God, not knowing it is Him.)

Jonah 2
1 Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and you heard my voice. [Isaiah 49:8 Thus says the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you…]
3 For you have cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all your billows and your waves passed over me.
4 Then I said, I am cast out of your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.
5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet have you brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto you, into your holy temple.
8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
9 But I will sacrifice unto you with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.

2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid you.

4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.
5 Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.

Psalm 82
1 God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the gods [those sitting in God’s seats of judgment and power – in church and state].
2 How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for you shall inherit all nations.

Zechariah 2
1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2 Then said I, Where go you? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem [those taught and founded on the LORD’s ways and ideas of peace and civilization], to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
