See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Today the LORD is bringing to light, to understanding, the event the modern church has twisted into the false doctrine of the “rapture.” As often here discussed, when God’s people are “caught up” to Him, the Greek word used in harpazo, meaning “to seize (in various applications):–catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force).”

This meaning first refers us to when the LORD three times (because of the three denials) asks Peter if he will feed His sheep. It is the third time the LORD shows Himself to His disciples after His resurrection, at the sea of Tiberias, meaning He is God of the river that fills the sea. The deeper meaning is He is God whose word flows to the masses, which He repeatedly, through His question, tells us it is how we show our love for Him and He, through us, shows His love to the masses, which is why he urges Peter to feed His sheep (urging him to give His word to the masses). Peter’s previous denials of the LORD are His refusal to take up his cross: afraid to make the needed sacrifice to declare Him, even though he followed Him.

This sequence of events and now overcoming it is what the LORD speaks of when in verses 18 & 19 He says, “18 Truly, truly, I say unto you, When you were young, you girded [prepared] yourself, and walked where you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird [prepare] you, and carry you where you would not [where you would not go, and instead denied Me]. This spoke he, signifying by what death he should glorify God [dying to his own will, and doing God’s will that reveals His glory in us]. And when he had spoken this, he said unto him, Follow me.”

As we have many times seen, in 1 John 3:17, this is the good of the world, which we have, and Godly charity is freely giving it to those now desperately in need. The problem we have is the same men that now deny the LORD at His coming, reject His truth, and continue on their own way with their own words. Their ways and words are those that have now set the world on fire, and the LORD has come to take by the hand as many as will receive the love of the truth, and pull them from the fires.

As we well know, these men are those Jude speaks of as He quotes Enoch, just before he tells us to save them with fear, and by it pull (harpazo) them from their fires, in which they will surely perish. This understanding is the LORD speaking to these sleeping men, through us, we who have come to life and understand the reality of the time and season.

As we know, the living are the elect remnant, who Paul speaks of and to, earlier in 1 Thessalonians 2, first saying in verse 13 they are those who received His word as the word of God, which it is, and not as the words of man. He says receiving it as such is what effectually works, has the transformational power, in those that do. He goes on to speak of the opposition from their fellow countrymen, who were forbidding them from giving God’s word to those who didn’t know Him, even as the Jews were doing to the church in Judah. The chapter concludes with Paul plainly telling them, by these acts, receiving the word that was flowing from God to them and suffering the persecution that comes with freely feeding His sheep, they were in the presence of the LORD at His coming.

Those resisting the living and their preaching are the sleeping Paul speaks of later in chapter 4, who the LORD has now come to awaken from death, and then, after they are awakened by our preaching, we who are alive and remain, will be pulled from the fires, into understanding in the cloud with them, and there shall we forever be with Him.

Now I say, follow me as I follow Him. I am the voice of the archangel He has chosen, the voice of the LORD descended from heaven, alive in me, in us.

Jude
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only LORD God, and our LORD Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The LORD rebuke you.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speak great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear [telling them they should fear being left in hell by continuing to follow the deceptions that hold them there], pulling [harpazo – the hand of God reaching down to pull] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh [see verse 12 above].
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

1 John 3
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death.
15 Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso has this world’s good, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

1 Thessalonians 2
11 As you know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father does his children,
12 That you would walk worthy of God, who has called you unto his kingdom and glory.
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works [is the power in us] also in you that believe.
14 For you, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
15 Who both killed the LORD Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles [those who don’t know the LORD, in spirit and truth] that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan [the spirit in those who resist the word and work of God] hindered us.
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even you in the presence of our LORD Jesus Christ at his coming? [The answer is yes we are.]
20 For you are our glory and joy.

1 Thessalonians 4
8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who has also given unto us his holy Spirit.
9 But as touching brotherly love you need not that I write unto you: for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10 And indeed you do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia [the houses of dead flesh]: but we beseech you, brethren, that you increase more and more;
11 And that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12 That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that you may have lack of nothing.
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep [those who are our brethren, as Esau, who are our persecutors mixed among us], that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent [will not be raised in one body, before they are awakened by our preaching, which is the voice] them which are asleep.
16 For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up [harpazo – pulled from the fire] together with them in the clouds [where understanding has been held since it was removed from the earth], to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 5
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the LORD so comes [has come] as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety [if you stay at home and followed their bad advice, which leads into perdition]; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our LORD Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the LORD, and admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

1 Corinthians 16
10 Now if Timothy come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he works the work of the LORD, as I also do.
11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12 As touching our brother Apollos [the full destruction of the enemies among us], I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13 Watch you, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14 Let all your things be done with charity.
15 I beseech you, brethren, (you know the house of Stephanas [those who will coronate], that it is the first-fruits of Achaia [are the first to rise from the chaos out of confusion], and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
16 That you submit yourselves unto such, and to everyone that helps with us, and labors.
17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus [He who is crowned by the LORD, after receiving His fortune, the riches of His glory, and has thereby been born out of confusion – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19]: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge you them that are such.
19 The churches of Asia [seems to be referring us to the Hebrew word ‘acar, meaning to hold and to join in the battle {against the LORD}. It is the word rendered “binding” in Genesis 49:11 in telling of the foal bound to the vine and held there until Shiloh comes. When the LORD tells His disciples, in Matthew 21:2, to “loose” the colt and foal, and bring them to Him, He uses the word luo. As we know, Zechariah 9:9 is there quoted, and is fulfilled this day before our eye. Do you understand?] salute you. Aquila and Priscilla [names speaking of those who have renews the ancient strength, and mounted up on wings as eagles] salute you much in the LORD, with the church that is in their house.
20 All the brethren greet you. Greet you one another with a holy kiss.
21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
22 If any man love not the LORD Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha [let him be cursed at Him coming].
23 The grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with you.
24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

The moment of the release, when the LORD takes us by the hand and pulls us from the fire, is described in John 10. There the LORD, in verse 12, tells of the wolf that comes and catches (harpazo) the sheep and scatters them. The word is later used in verses 28 & 29 say that no man can “pluck them out” of the Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.

John 10
24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long do thou make us doubt? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
26 But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out [harpazo] of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out [harpazo] of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you from my Father; for which of those works do you stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God.

The title, Jeremiah 1:10, is the LORD speaking of plucking up these men, the wolves who have scattered His sheep. The word He used to tell of when and how he will root them out is the Hebrew word nathash, meaning to tear away. He tells us He does this so He can build and plant, by the same means, by putting His words in Jeremiah’s mouth. We know the name Jeremiah tells of Jehovah rising in him, to raise His people with Him.

The word plant, from nata’, is then used in Jeremiah 12:2 to tell us this is the first crop the LORD planted, who “bring forth fruit: you are [the LORD is] near in their mouth, and far from their reins [far from who controls them].” Later in chapter 12, the LORD uses the word nathash five times in telling of now, when he will root out these tares that are now ripened among us, because their fruit is corruption producing confusion that has now turned to delusion.

Jeremiah 1
4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, LORD God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatsoever I command you you shall speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD.
9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out [nathash], and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant [nata’].
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what see you? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree [the first life springing forth, as the LORD rises].
12 Then said the LORD unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

17 You therefore gird up your loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command you: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound you before them.
18 For, behold, I have made you this day a defensed city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah [the corrupt crop], against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
19 And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you, says the LORD, to deliver you.

Jeremiah 12
1 Righteous are you, O LORD, when I plead with you: yet let me talk with you of your judgments: Wherefore does the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
2 You have planted [nata’] them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: you are near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
3 But you, O LORD, know me: you have seen me, and tried mine heart toward you: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
4 How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end. [And the LORD laughed,
5 And said] If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the swelling of Jordan [when the rivers of death have swelled over their banks and cover the land – now, when proud men, confident in their power to deceive, have caused mass delusion that is destroying the land]?
6 For even your brethren, and the house of your father [as Esau, the enemies mixed among us, who hate us without cause], even they have dealt treacherously with you; yea, they have called a multitude after you: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto you.
7 I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
8 Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it cries out against me: therefore have I hated it.
9 Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her; come you, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.
10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
11 They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourns unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man lays it to heart.
12 The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.
13 They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
14 Thus says the LORD against all mine evil neighbors, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out [nathash] of their land, and pluck out [nathash] the house of Judah from among them.
15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out [nathash] I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.
16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD lives; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up [nathash] that nation, and then puck up [nathash] to fully destroy, says the LORD.

The word nastash appears once in Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 19:12, in telling of God’s people as a vine planted by rivers draining their life (blood). It says she, the nation, was “plucked up” and therefore has no strength to rule: strength we know only comes from understanding and following God’s advice. We also know, strength is destroyed by the rivers of death, lies and deception that come in the form of the misleading advice of corrupt men.

Ezekiel 19
1 Moreover take you up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,
2 And say, What is your mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.
3 And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion [Joseph – their first king], and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.
4 The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt.
5 Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion [David, followed by the breach and the kings who brought in the desolation].
6 And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men [as did Rehoboam].
7 And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fullness thereof, by the noise [qowl – the voice in verse 9 below] of his roaring.
8 Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit.
9 And they put him in ward in chains [The end of the kings, until he comes whose right it is], and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice [qowl – referring to those who open their mouths to spew confusion – see Ezekiel 21:21 & 22, where also in verse 27 the overturning is described] should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.
10 Your mother is like a vine in your blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.
11 And she had strong rods for the scepters of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.
12 But she was plucked up [nathash] in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.
13 And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground.
14 And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which has devoured her fruit, so that she has no strong rod to be a scepter to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

Ezekiel 21
21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way [the voice of confusion, like when it began in the bad advice of the young men to who Rehoboam listened, precipitating the breach], at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.
22 At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice [qowl – the noise] with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.
23 And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
24 Therefore thus says the LORD God; Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that you are come to remembrance, you shall be taken with the hand.
25 And you, profane wicked prince [as Jeroboam] of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end [when the breach is repaired],
26 Thus says the LORD God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
28 And you, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the LORD God concerning the Ammonites [those who exalt themselves above God], and concerning their reproach; even say you, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:
29 Whiles they see vanity unto you, whiles they divine a lie unto you, to bring you upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.
30 Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge you in the place where you were created, in the land of your nativity.
31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon you, I will blow against you in the fire of my wrath, and deliver you into the hand of brutish men, and skillful to destroy.
32 You shall be for fuel to the fire; your blood shall be in the midst of the land; you shall be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

Amos 2
2 And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice [qowl] from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel [those who rule in the Garden, the vineyard, of Eden] shall wither.
3 Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus [where they have silenced the word of God and stopped the work], and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead [the mountain of My testimony] with threshing instruments of iron:
4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael [those who see the arm of God revealed and refuse His correction], which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad [the children of false gods of the world].
5 I will break also the bar of Damascus [the bar that holds in silence and stops the work], and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven [those whose ideas and ways are worthless], and him that held the scepter from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria [those who exalted themselves] shall go into captivity unto Kir [the place where they built the wall {hell} of lies to keep men in], says the LORD.

Amos 2
1 Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab [the gates of hell, the ever-open mouths of deceivers], and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
2 But I will send a fire upon Moab [upon these gates of hell], and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth [their walled city]: and Moab [the deceivers] shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound [qowl – the voice of the archangel] of the trumpet:
3 And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, says the LORD.
4 Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah [the misleaders of God’s people], and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
5 But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
6 Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;
7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:
8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

Amos 9
8 Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.
9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, says the LORD that does this.
13 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out [nathash] of their land which I have given them, says the LORD your God.

1 Timothy 6
11 But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords;
16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called [avoid babblers who call their confusion knowledge when it is the opposite]:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

Psalms 11
1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say you to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily [secretly] shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5 The LORD tries the righteous: but the wicked and him that loves violence his soul hates.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the righteous LORD loves righteousness; his countenance [presence] does behold the upright.
