There are great chasms in this world, reversed and altered realities, heaven and hell, truth and deception, good and evil. These definitions are the power of those in control of their economy (meaning how the information moves). The above, Psalms 94:1 & 2, is the LORD calling My LORD to show His power in resetting the foundations of the earth, to shake the wicked from it, and, with His good judgment, take control of the dispensation. Amen!

Psalms 94
3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 They break in pieces your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Understand, you brutish among the people: and you fools, when will you be wise?
9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 He that chastises the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teaches man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Blessed is the man whom you chastens, O LORD, and teach him out of your law;
13 That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frame mischief by a law?
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 But the LORD is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity [‘aven], and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

In the words of this last verse, the LORD is referring us to Job 34 and 36, where He speaks, through Elihu (He is God) of His just vengeance against the wicked [‘aven]. The word ‘aven means, “to pant (hence, to exert oneself, usually in vain; to come to naught); strictly nothingness; also trouble, vanity, wickedness; specifically an idol.” It is speaking of the workers of iniquity, who’ve used their power and control, (whose pillars are violence {oppression} and deception {lying and censoring truth}), to mislead the world into mass delusion and demonstrable insanity. Their false reality will not stand!

Matthew 7
20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.
21 Not every one that says unto me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Job 34
1 Furthermore Elihu answered and said,
2 Hear my words, O you wise men; and give ear unto me, you that have knowledge.
3 For the ear tries words, as the mouth tastes meat.
4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
5 For Job has said, I am righteous: and God has taken away my judgment.
6 Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
7 What man is like Job, who drinks up scorning like water?
8 Which goes in company with the workers of iniquity [‘aven], and walks with wicked men.
9 For he has said, It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
10 Therefore hearken unto me you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
13 Who has given him a charge over the earth? or who has disposed the whole world?
14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
16 If now you have understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
17 Shall even he that hates right govern? and will you condemn him that is most just?
18 Is it fit to say to a king, You are wicked? and to princes, You are ungodly?
19 How much less to him that accepts not the persons of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his goings.
22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity [‘aven] may hide themselves.
23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
25 Therefore he knows their works, and he overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
26 He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he hears the cry of the afflicted.
29 When he gives quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hides his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
32 That which I see not teach you me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
33 Should it be according to your mind? he will recompense it, whether you refuse, or whether you choose; and not I: therefore speak what you know.
34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.
35 Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers [Job answering with his own words, still in rebellion, and not this word of God, to who it appertains] for wicked [‘aven] men.
37 For he adds rebellion unto his sin, he claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God.

Job 36
1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,
2 Suffer me a little, and I will show you that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.
3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
4 For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with you.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despises not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
6 He preserves not the life of the wicked: but gives right to the poor.
7 He withdraws not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he does establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be held in cords of affliction;
9 Then he shews them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
10 He opens also their ear to discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity [‘aven].
11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
13 But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he binds them.
14 They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
15 He delivers the poor in his affliction, and opens their ears in oppression.
16 Even so would he have removed you out of the strait [restraining oppression, the tyranny of the day, from those who abused their power and usurp those not given them] into a broad place, where there is no straitness [where there is liberty]; and that which should be set on your table should be full of fatness.
17 But you have fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on you.
18 Because there is wrath, beware lest he take you away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver you.
19 Will he esteem your riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
20 Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
21 Take heed, regard not iniquity [‘aven]: for this have you chosen rather than affliction.
22 Behold, God exalts by his power: who teaches like him?
23 Who has enjoined him his way? or who can say, You have wrought iniquity?
24 Remember that you magnify his work, which men behold.
25 Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
27 For he makes small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapor thereof:
28 Which the clouds [where are reserved the elements of understanding, until they are reassembled and sent upon the earth as the LORD’s later rain] do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
29 Also can any understand the spreading of the clouds, or the noise [tshu’ah – the sound of the understanding, thunder, the sound of the light] of his tabernacle [from the LORD’s house – His people]?
30 Behold, he spreads his light [understanding] upon it, and covers the bottom of the sea [the darkest places of humanity at large].
31 For by them judges he the people; he gives meat [the nourishment of the grown] in abundance.
32 With clouds he covers the light; and commands it not to shine by the cloud that comes betwixt.
33 The noise [rea’ – the light kept in the cloud, until it’s heard from the mouths of His people] thereof shows concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapor [the elements are reassembled for the flock He has purchased with the price of delivering them].

The word tshu’ah (noise), in verse 29 above, only appears three other time, all taking us even deeper into the mystery, the LORD’s secreted instruction, revealed for this moment of judgment. Remember Nahum from the previous post, and the LORD’s saying of this moment, “The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.”

Church, hear the commandments of the LORD:

In Job 39 the LORD speaks of His people, as in Zachariah 9:9 and 10:3, first as the lowly ass He set free (by the anistemi), who when standing (the anastasis) are His goodly horse in the battle (of Armageddon – this set appointment of time and place).

Job 39
5 Who has sent out the wild ass free? or who has loosed the bands of the wild ass?
6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.
7 He scorns the multitude of the city, neither regards he the crying [tshu’ah – the noise] of the driver.
8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he search after every green thing.
9 Will the unicorn [the one body] be willing to serve you, or abide by your crib?
10 Can you bind the unicorn [the only power] with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after you?
11 Will you trust him, because his strength is great? or will you leave your labor to him?
12 Will you believe him, that he will bring home your seed, and gather it into your barn?
13 Gave you the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? [Wings that cannot lift her on high, because she has forgotten wisdom, and has no understanding to care for her young – she lack the strength only the LORD can give her.]
14 Which leaves her eggs in the earth, and warms them in dust,
15 And forgets that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labor is in vain without fear;
17 Because God has deprived her of wisdom, neither has he imparted to her understanding.
18 What time [at the appointed time] she [is given the strength to] lifts up herself on high, she scorns the horse and his rider [the armies of iniquity].
19 Have you given the horse strength [wisdom]? have you clothed his neck with thunder [the voice of understanding]?
20 Can you make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.
21 He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength [the LORD’s strength returned in us]: he goes on to meet the armed men.
22 He mocks at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turns he back from the sword.
23 The quiver rattles against him, the glittering spear and the shield.
24 He swallows the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believes he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
25 He says among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smells the battle afar off, the thunder [the voices of understanding] of the captains, and the shouting.
26 Does the hawk fly by your wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?
27 Does the eagle mount up at your command [as God’s people do at His command], and make her nest on high?
28 She dwells and abides on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.
29 From thence she seeks the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.
30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

The LORD is calling His people to the battle – To fearlessly declare the Day of the LORD and the vengeance of our God.

Isaiah 22
1 The burden of the valley of vision [what is now plainly seen]. What ails you now, that you are wholly gone up to the housetops?
2 You that are full of stirs [tshu’ah – noise], a tumultuous city [agitated by the words of men], joyous city: your slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
3 All your rulers are fled together [because they are hirelings], they are bound by the archers [they flee because they fear words that are as shot arrows]: all that are found in you are bound together, which have fled from far.
4 Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labor not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.
5 For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the LORD God of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.
6 And Elam [eternity] bare the quiver [that hold the arrows] with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield. [Kir is the wall that holds the waters in, restricts the free course of this word of God {see 2 Thessalonians 3:1 – 3}. Those leading and teaching God’s are more interested in controlling the flow than they are in listening and following the one from Who it flows].
7 And it shall come to pass, that your choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate [the army mustered at the gate that holds men in hell].
8 And he discovered the covering of Judah, and you did look in that day to the armor of the house of the forest [this is referring to verse 6 above and what is to be discovers about those leading God’s people].
9 You have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
10 And you have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have you broken down to fortify the wall.
11 You made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but you have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.
12 And in that day did the LORD God of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
13 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we shall die.
14 And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till you die, says the LORD God of hosts.
15 Thus says the LORD God of hosts, Go, get you unto this treasurer [where these treasures are held, waiting to be discovered], even unto Shebna [vigor – meaning in these words, reserved for this moment, are life and strength], which is over the house, and say,
16 What have you here? and whom have you here, that you have hewed you out a sepulcher here, as he that hews him out a sepulcher on high, and that graves an habitation for himself in a rock? [This is telling of these men’s control of knowledge turning it into a grave.]
17 Behold, the LORD will carry you away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover you.
18 He will surely violently turn and toss you like a ball into a large country: there shall you die, and there the chariots of your glory shall be the shame of your LORD’s house.
19 And I will drive you from your station, and from your state shall he pull you down.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim [who God raises] the son of Hilkiah [said to mean – whose portion is Jehovah, more precisely, from chalaq, meaning he is the smooth stone of Jehovah]:
21 And I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your girdle, and I will commit your government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.
24 And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
25 In that day, says the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD has spoken it.

We see above, the LORD’s words aren’t heard or understood because they are held back and opposed by those in control. These withholders (katecho) are the so-called leaders who have fled the battle in fear and silence. I say to them, get out of the way and give this word free course.

The final use of tshu’ah is in Zechariah 4:7, there telling of the “shouting” of Zerubbabel when he brings forth the head stone.

Zechariah 4
1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
2 And said unto me, What see you? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4 So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my LORD?
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my LORD.
6 Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel [born out of Babylon, by coming away from confusion], saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
7 Who are you, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting [tshu’ah], crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you.
10 For who has despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven [with the church]; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my LORD.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones [the body of Christ in church and state, Joshua, the cleansed priesthood, and Zerubbabel, those who come to life by coming out of confusion, out of the tribulation fires, out of the world’s mass delusion caused by the deceivers], that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

The word rea’, meaning, “a crash (of thunder), noise (of war), shout (of joy),” rendered “noise” in Job 36:33 above, only appears two other times.

Exodus 32
16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
17 And when Joshua heard the noise [qowl – voice] of the people as they shouted [rea’], he said unto Moses, There is a noise [qowl – voice] of war in the camp.
18 And he said, It is not the voice [qowl] of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice [qowl] of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise [qowl] of them that sing do I hear. [See Isaiah 22:13 & 14 above]
19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto you, that you have brought so great a sin upon them?
22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my LORD wax hot: you know the people, that they are set on mischief.
23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
24 And I said unto them, Whosoever has any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
27 And he said unto them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.
28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.

Micah 4
1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken it.
5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.
6 In that day, says the LORD, will I assemble her that halts [that was lame – gone astray] and I will gather her that is driven out [see Job 39:7 – the noise of the divers], and her that I have afflicted;
7 And I will make her that halted [was lame – strayed] a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even forever.
8 And you, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto you shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Now why do you cry out aloud [rea’]? is there no king in you? is your counsellor perished? for pangs have taken you as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shall you go forth out of the city, and you shall dwell in the field, and you shall go even to Babylon; there shall you be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
11 Now also many nations are gathered against you, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass: and you shall beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the LORD of the whole earth.

Ephesians 1
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Wherein he has abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he has purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The word “dispensation” is the Greek word ekonomia, meaning, “administration (of a household or estate); specially, a (religious) ‘economy.'” It is telling of rightly order elements, then distributed as part of the same order. Merriam-Webster says it means, “a general state or ordering of things; specifically: a system of revealed commands and promises regulating human affairs.”

Colossians 1
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation [ekonomia] of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest [phaneroo] to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29 Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

Psalms 95
1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if you will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11 Unto whom I swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
