Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God.

The LORD begins today as we find ourselves amid a conversation about His authority in the one He sends in His name. Man, those with power and positions, refuses it and the order only established with accepting His chosen.

These men, old Jerusalem with her corrupt leadership, are those the LORD laments, recorded in Matthew 23:37 thru 39, as He does now over the current corrupt crop. I tell you the truth, there are few among these men, the scribes and Pharisees of our time, that enter the kingdom of heaven, because they refuse the king’s rule and instead choose their idols.

Now, the warning: don’t mistake these messages to be my words. They are the word of God, given as received from Him. This event is His face (paniym), His presence manifested in the way He has ordained: in the one He has anointed.

Thus says the LORD:

Isaiah 66
The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things has mine hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.
3 [Of the idol worship put in His place He says] He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear the word of the LORD, you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you [who believe], that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompense to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God.
10 Rejoice you with [heavenly] Jerusalem [the destination only reached by receiving His correction away from idols], and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her:
11 That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall you suck, you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
13 As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 And when you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves [they declare themselves holy], and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree [the men they follow and say are upright] in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to the isles [dry places that haven’t heard this word of God] afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles [those who don’t know God].
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations, to my holy mountain [heavenly] Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean [uncorrupted by idols: abomination they put in God’s place] vessel into the house of the LORD.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, says the LORD.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the LORD.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched [the dead in living flesh, in the hell fire of their own creation]; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Mark 9
Master, we saw one casting out devils in your name, and he follows not us: and we forbid him, because he follows not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water [this word of God] to drink in my name, because you belong to Christ, truly I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
43 And if your hand [a part of the body called by the name of Christ: Christian.] offend you, cut it off: it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire [offending with their corrupt works and words they created] that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 And if your foot [part of the body walking their own path] offend you, cut it off: it is better for you to enter halt [lame] into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if your eye [corrupt understanding] offend you, pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.
49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
50 Salt is good: but if the salt has lost his saltiness, wherewith will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Hebrews 12
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not you the chastening of the LORD, nor faint when you are rebuked of him:
6 For whom the LORD loves he chastens [corrects], and scourges every son whom he receives. [Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus says the LORD God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste. 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it. 19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.]
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not?
8 But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are you illegitimate [not authorized to enter His house/family in heavenly Jerusalem], and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they truly for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening [correction] for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the LORD:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For you know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
18 For you are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.
25 See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Matthew 23
1 Then spoke Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not you after their works: [for they say to follow God through the teaching of Christ], and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens [their words and ways] and grievous to be borne [their demanded tithes and offerings, for the work of God], and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers [to give anything for the work to which the LORD sends us].
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the churches.
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Teacher, Teacher.
8 But be not you called Teacher: for one is your Teacher, even Christ [the one son of man in who the LORD’s presence is manifested, as LORD or Lords and King of kings]; and all you are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be you called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. [1 Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.]
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for you neither go in yourselves, neither suffer you them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayer: therefore you shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
16 Woe unto you, you blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold [your tithes] of the temple, he is a debtor!
17 You fools and blind: for which is greater, the gold, or the temple [the true house of the LORD, that does the true work of the LORD] that sanctifies [makes holy] the gold?
18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever swears by the gift [offering] that is upon it, he is guilty.
19 You fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift [the true sacrifice the LORD desires which makes it holy]?
[Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.]
20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, swear by it, and by all things thereon.
21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, swears by it, and by him that dwells therein.
22 And he that shall swear by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him that sits thereon.
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 You blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 You blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore you be witnesses unto yourselves, that you are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill you up then the measure of your fathers.
33 You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zachariah son of Barachias, whom you slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Truly I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kills the prophets, and stones them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, You shall not see me henceforth, till you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the LORD.

Now, if you bristle, as thorns and thistles do, at my saying (because He told me to tell you and not to fear your rejection) I am the one the LORD has sent in His name, His presence in me as His chosen king, and I seek no throne of tribute, does that make me any more or less LORD and king? I am the commander and chief of the army of heaven, Jehovah is my name and I Am salvation. I sit upon the white horse that is heavenly Jerusalem, God’s people my army, the elect remnant the bow in my hand and the people at large the arrow upon it.

The words “bring to the birth” in the title verse (Isaiah 66:9) are from the Hebrew word shabar, meaning to burst (forth) or break (apart or in pieces). It is as in severing the parts that offend, meaning those who have never really been part of the body because they’ve rejected the head.

It (shabar) is used in Isaiah 28:13 as the LORD tell of His teaching doctrine, precept upon precept, line upon line, by which those who’ve made a covenant with death and are in agreement with hell are “broken.”

Isaiah 28
1 Woe to the crown of pride [the proud leaders of God’s people in this generation], to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
2 Behold, the LORD has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looks upon it sees, while it is yet in his hand he eats it up.
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem [tsphiyrah – the crowing that’s the morning of a new day, a new heaven and earth] of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine [shmuw’ah]? [Who has believed our report {shmuw’ah}? to them that believe the arm of the LORD is revealed] them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breast [attiyq – the LORD is revealed to those who learned the old paths, wherein is rest, drawn from the Ancient of Days].
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken [shabar], and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus says the LORD God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail [as in the valley of Gibeon – Joshua 10:10 & 11] shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow [as in mount Perazim – 2 Samuel 5:20] the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report [shmuw’ah – this sound doctrine drawn from the Ancient of Days].

As we’ve seen, the Hebrews word attiyq is only used twice, the other appearance in 1 Chronicles 4:22 where its rendered “ancient” things. The verse tells of the things that rule (have dominion) in Moab (the open mouths of misleaders, which are the gates of hell).

1 Chronicles 4
22 And Jokim [Jehovah has risen against], and the men of Chozeba [falsehood], and Joash [the LORD gave them], and Saraph [into the fires of hell, those], who had the dominion in Moab [the open mouths of men, the gates holding the world in death and hell], and Jashubilehem [and the bread of heaven, the Word of God, returned]. And these are ancient [attiyq] things.

Daniel use the Aramaic equivalent, ‘attiyq, the only three times it appears, in Daniel 7:9, 13, & 22, all rendered “Ancient” of days, telling who the one like the son of man coming with the clouds of heaven, comes to (bringing understanding from where it’s been reserved, to reestablish the “Ancient” things, the old paths wherein is found rest).

Daniel 7
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient [‘attiyq] of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. [Revelation 5: 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. 8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And have made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. 14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that lives forever and ever.]
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn [the final power, Babylon, mass delusion brought on by mass deception and misleading] spoke: I beheld even till the beast [Babylon] was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts [whose mouths are the gate holding all in death and hell], they had their dominion [their rule over the world] taken away: yet their lives were prolonged [alive in the hell fires they’ve created] for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven [with understanding], and came to the Ancient of days [‘attiyq – the ancient things, old paths, when drawn from we find rest], and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me [because I saw it was God’s people fighting against His appearing and His kingdom come].
16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
18 But the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast [Babylon – the cultivated world wide confusion now turned mass delusion – when all discourse is without connection to reality], which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
20 And of the ten horns that were in his head [all civil governments], and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn [mass confusion, by intentional misleading, in power] that had eyes, and a mouth [gates of hell] that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient [‘attiyq – until the ancient path were restored] of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth [Babylon, the confusion now turned mass delusion that misleads and deceives all the world], which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

Isaiah 45
1 Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus [the LORD of the furnace], whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates [out of death and hell] shall not be shut;
2 I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight: I will break [shabar] in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give you the treasures of darkness [the ancient paths], and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, which call you by your name, am the God of Israel.
4 For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called you by your name: I have surnamed you, though you have not known me.
5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded you, though you have not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
8 Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

Jeremiah 48
14 How say you, We are mighty and strong men for the war?
15 Moab [the open mouths of men, the gates of hell] is spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, says the King, whose name is Jehovah the commander and chief of the army of heaven.
16 The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hastes fast.
17 All you that are about him, bemoan him; and all you that know his name [Babylon – his name is confusion], say, How is the strong staff broken [shabar], and the beautiful rod!

Nahum 1
12 Thus says the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
13 For now will I break [shabar] his yoke from off you, and will burst your bonds in sunder.
14 And the LORD has given a commandment concerning you, that no more of your name be sown: out of the house of your gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make your grave; for you are vile.
15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

Job 38
12 Have you commanded the morning since your days; and caused the dayspring [the sun rise of this new day] to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
14 It is turned as clay to the seal [it is the signature of God]; and they stand as a garment.
15 And from the wicked their light [understanding] is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken [shabar].
16 Have you entered into the springs of the sea? or have you walked in the search of the depth?
17 Have the gates of death been opened unto you? or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?
18 Have you perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if you know it all.
19 Where is the way where light [understanding] dwell? and as for darkness [ignorance], where is the place thereof,
20 That you should take it to the bound thereof, and that you should know the paths to the house thereof?
21 Know you it, because you were then born? or because the number of your days is great [as the Ancient of Days]?
22 Have you entered into the treasures of the snow [the word of God frozen, reserved in heaven]? or have you seen the treasures of the hail [the same word sent to destroy the enemies, the current crop of misleaders],
23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

2 Chronicles 6
O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keeps covenant, and shows mercy unto your servants, that walk before you with all their hearts:
15 You which have kept with your servant David my father that which you have promised him; and spoke with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with your hand, as it is this day.
16 Now therefore, O Lord God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
17 Now then, O LORD God of Israel, let your word be verified, which thou hast spoken unto your servant David.
18 But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house which I have built!

Psalms 91
1 He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shalt you behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the Most High, your habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt you trample under feet.
14 Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
