The above is Isaiah 60:22, the final verse in a chapter that tells of when the light (understanding) has come into the gross darkness (ignorance) covering the earth and her people. The time of the increase, the harvest now hastening is in the time when people no longer put their trust in government, of church or state, but in Him to whom it appertains.

Jeremiah 10
1 Hear you the word which the LORD speaks unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus says the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it moves not.
5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must need be borne [carried], because they cannot go [their strength is to sit still]. Be not afraid of them [because they are idols and nothing]; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is great in might.
7 Who would not fear you, O King of nations? for to you does it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto you.
8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.
9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish [those who’ve fled from their vows], and gold from Uphaz [whose god is gold: the wealth they extort], the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing [they put their creations in God’s place and call them God]: they are all the work of cunning men.
10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
11 Thus shall you say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
12 He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
13 When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning with rain, and brings forth the wind [His Spirit] out of his treasures [by his understanding].
14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath [life] in them.
15 They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
16 The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts [the army of heaven] is his name.
17 Gather up your wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
18 For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.
19 Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous; but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
22 Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country [commotions caused by things brought forth from their hiding in men’s ignorance] to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.
23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his steps.
24 O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.
25 Pour out your fury upon the heathen that know you not, and upon the families that call not on your name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

As we know, the question above, “Who would not fear you, O King of nations?” which tells us to whom it appertains, is quoted in Revelation 15, which speaks of the victory over the idols. It comes when the testimony in heaven is opened, and the wrath of God has come to smoke the vermin from their hiding places. It, as does Isaiah 60, tells of when all gather to the light, describing it here (in Revelation 15) as when the LORD’s “judgments are made manifest.”

The above, in speaking of Uphaz, refers us to Daniel 10, the name’s only other appearance. There Daniel tells of seeing the glorious (splendid and pure) looking idol that comes first, by which his strength is removed, he becomes corrupt, and falls into a deep sleep. He, in the person of Gabriel (warrior of God), later calls this idol the prince of Persia (meaning splendid and pure), against who he fights. He (Gabriel) says after he has gone forth, “the prince of Grecia [Yavan] shall come,” the name said to be “probably from the same as 3196; effervescing (i.e. hot and active).”

The Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary definition of #3196: yayin, is “from an unused root meaning to effervesce; wine (as fermented); by implication, intoxication.” The name is speaking of the time of intoxication (stupefaction) that is Daniel’s deep sleep.

Gabriel ends, speaking of the one to whom it appertains, none hold with (has this understanding with) him in these things, but Michael (who is like God) your prince. As we know, Michael is the one described (in Daniel 12), as here in the latter days awakening God’s people from the earth’s dust (ashes and ruin). This is the person in Daniel 10, whose voice wakes Him, after he’s become dumb (silent) and without strength, when his mouth is touched and opened by one like (similitude of) the appearance of the son of man.

These are describing what is now hastening, and to who it appertains.

Daniel 10
1 In the third year of Cyrus [LORD of the furnace – as in Genesis 15:12 thru 17, when Abram, in darkness in a deep sleep, saw the furnace] the king of Persia [the King of kings, who is truly splendid and pure] a thing was revealed unto Daniel [the judgment of God], whose name was called Belteshazzar [“LORD of the straitened’s treasure” the LORD of understanding held in Shinar – see Daniel 1:2]; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel [the hastening – as in the title];
5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz [whose god is gold]:
6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words [misleading]: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10 And, behold, a hand [of God’s anointed son] touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto you, and stand upright: for unto you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I am come for your words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia [the prince of the power of the air, who claims to be splendid and pure, but instead corrupts and destroys] withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael [the one who is like God], one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia [the King of kings].
14 Now I am come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days [days we know are explained in Daniel 12, and there showing us the deep sleep started with Abram’s vision and ends now].
15 And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16 And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men [son of man] touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spoke, and said unto him that stood before me, O my LORD, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17 For how can the servant of this my LORD talk with this my LORD? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath [life] left in me. [Now, in judgment, when this is confessed, the resurrection, the quickening to life, takes place and now hastens]
18 Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto you, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my LORD speak [these words which return strength, as understanding, light]; for you have strengthened me.
20 Then said he, Know you wherefore I come unto you? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21 But I will show you that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holds with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Daniel 12
12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
4 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Isaiah 60
1 Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
5 Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto you.
6 The multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.
7 All the flocks of Kedar [those who’ve been held in darkness] shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nebaioth [those who were in endless strife and agitation] shall minister unto you: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
8 Who are these that fly as a cloud [in the heavens, in the clear air, with understanding], and as the doves to their windows [to see the hastening of the expected end]?
9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first [those who fled their vows, will return first, as Jonah from the belly of {Hell on} the earth, calling all to repent], to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you: for in my wrath I smote you, but in my favor have I had mercy on you.
11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14 The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 You shall also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shall suck the breast of kings: and you shall know that I the LORD am your Saviour and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make your officers peace, and your exactors righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you: but the LORD shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.
20 Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.
21 Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

The word “hasten” in the title verse is chuwsh, meaning “to hurry; figuratively, to be eager with excitement or enjoyment:–(make) haste(-n), ready.” Its meaning implies the opposite of shame (the disappointment and dishonor when what is foretold and therefore expected, doesn’t come).

It (chuwsh) is the elation (rapture) occurring when what is expected is seen coming, as we rush toward it hurry its meeting. As we know, this is also a facet in the word harpazo, rendered “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (which the false prophets and false teachers of our time have twisted into their fly away false doctrines).

The word (harpazo) means to seize, by force, and is rendered “pulling” in Jude 1:23 where we’re told to, with fear, pull some from the fire caused by their garments spotted by the flesh. The referenced “spot” is that spoken of earlier in the chapter, in verse 12, when describing of the false prophets among us, who “are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water [without God-given understanding], carried about of winds [of false doctrine]; trees whose fruit wither [as it now does in the presence of the LORD], without fruit, twice dead [the “second death” in this judgment], plucked up by the roots; 13 Raging waves [proud men] of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness [ignorance] forever.”

Jude 1
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling [harpazo] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh [false prophets, from where we are pulled into His clear air].
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

As we’ve seen, the LORD forcefully pulling us to Him, implies we (the church) don’t want to go there, and neither can we get to Him by ourselves (by our own means). He is the only way, through His truth and light. This aspect is what He speaks of, recorded in John 21:18, saying “Truly, truly, I say unto you, When you were young, you girded yourself, and walked where you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you [prepare you with thing needed], and carry you where you would not [and could not, go yourself].”

What hastens our return to Him is our, “eager with excitement or enjoyment,” taking His now stretched-out hand. This same event is the calamity that falls upon those who’ve scattered and now hold down (katecho) God’s people, who will hold them down (let) until they are taken out of the way.

Deuteronomy 32
9 O that they [My people] were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
30 How should one [a little one who shall become the many thousands, and tens of thousands times tens of thousands] chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom [burning flames], and of the fields of Gomorrah [ruin – of the world now “become without form, and void”]: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
33 Their wine is the poison of dragons [devouring mouths], and the cruel venom of asps, [against which, the son of man must be lifted up, and all who look to Him shall be saved].
34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?
35 To me belongs vengeance and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste [chuwsh].
36 For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock [idols] in whom they trusted,
38 Which [false prophets and false teachers with their false god, whose god is their belly] did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live forever.
41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword [this word of truth] shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
43 Rejoice, O you nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

This event is described in Job 20, as one of Job’s accusers tells of a truth He’s known, speaking of the disappointment of the hypocrites (of which, he is unknowingly among – who by his own words judges himself).

Job 20
2 Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste [chuwsh].
3 I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causes me to answer.
4 Know you not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
6 Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds [though he is given understanding, because he doesn’t know the One to whom it appertains];
7 Yet he shall perish forever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?
8 He shall fly away as a dream [a deception created by his own mind], and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
9 The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.
10 His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.
11 His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.
12 Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;
13 Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth [his devouring poison – words and ideas]:
14 Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.
15 He has swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
16 He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper’s tongue shall slay him.
17 He shall not see the [these] rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.
18 That which he labored for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.
19 Because he has oppressed and has forsaken the poor; because he has violently taken away a house which he built not;
20 Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired [this is his disappointment and shame].
21 There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.
22 In the fullness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
23 When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
24 He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.
25 It is drawn, and comes out of the body; yea, the glittering sword comes out of his gall: terrors are upon him [by his own words he shall be judged].
26 All darkness [his ignorance] shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle [therefore, “Come out of her, My people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of their plagues.” Revelation 18:4].
27 The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
28 The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.
29 This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.

The only other time chuwsh appears in Job is in Job 31:5, which we saw in the previous post, there describing it as a “heinous crime,” to be “eager with excitement or enjoyment,” thinking you’re going to reach the end you expect when reaching for it through “vanity” and “deceit.”

Job 31
2 For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance [the end to be expected] of the Almighty from on high?
3 Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
4 Does not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
5 If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot has hasted [chuwsh] to deceit;
6 Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.

11 For this [verse 5] is a heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges.
12 For it [verse 5] is a fire [of Hell] that consumes to destruction [‘abaddown], and would root out all mine increase.
13 If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me; [hereafter are the questions of judgment – judge yourself: what have you done, are your works vanity and deceit, as God sees them and has properly assessed?]
14 What then shall I do when God rises up? and when he visits, what shall I answer him?

Isaiah 28
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem [tsphiyrah] of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine [shmuw’ah]? them that are weaned from the milk, and [have] drawn from the breasts [of the Ancient of Days].
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies [kazab – only used by Isaiah here and in verse 17] our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus says the LORD God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste [chuwsh – shall not be ashamed, because they have not been, “eager with excitement or enjoyment,” expecting to reach it through a covenant with death and an agreement with Hell].
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies [kazab], and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report [shmuw’ah].
20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim [2 Samuel 5:20 & 21: as waters, this word of God, breaking forth upon the enemies], he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon [Joshua 10:10 & 11: God’s word, reserved in heaven for this moment, coming as hailstones], that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the LORD God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
23 Give you ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Isaiah 5
1 Now will I sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My well-beloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns [the misleaders now in power, in church and state]: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it [and there is no light, understanding, in them].
7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of a homer shall yield an ephah.
11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished [without this bread of heaven, manna not known to be the word from the mouth of God, by which only does man live], and their multitude dried up with thirst [without these living waters].
14 Therefore hell has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it.

Psalms 70
1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste [chuwsh] to help me, O LORD.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4 Let all those that seek you rejoice and be glad in you: and let such as love your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5 But I am poor and needy: make haste [chuwsh] unto me, O God: you are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

The word above rendered “before” is the Hebrew word neged, “from 5046; a front, i.e. part opposite; specifically a counterpart, or mate; usually (adverbial, especially with preposition) over against or before.” Here, in Proverbs 15:11 (numbers themselves representing divine grace coming into confusion), it’s telling of the darkness into which the light comes.

The word it (neged) is from is nagad (#5046), meaning “to front, i.e. stand boldly out opposite; by implication (causatively), to manifest; figuratively, to announce (always by word of mouth to one present); specifically, to expose, predict, explain, praise.”

In these definitions we see Hell and Destruction are before states that announce the coming of the LORD: states of mind (heart), created by the same (Hell and Destruction) and resulting in a departure, and endless degeneration, into confusion and insanity (the inability to distinguish between reality and delusion).

The word “hell” is from Sheol (sh’owl) and “destruction” is Abaddon (‘abaddown), the latter a five times used word meaning, perishing and Hades. It (‘abaddown) is an intensified form of the word ‘abad, meaning “to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative, destroy).” It’s speaking of the endless fall away from the (clear-minded) state before, which John, in Revelation 9:11, describes using ‘abaddown as the proper name Abaddon, who he defines as the king of scorpions and the angel of the bottomless pit.

The word sh’owl is, “from 7592; Hades or the world of the dead (as if a subterranean retreat), including its accessories and inmates:–grave, hell, pit.” It describes the dead (a state of mind) in Hell, which, rather than a place, is air in which man is ever descending deeper into his own depravity.

The origin of sh’owl, sha’al (#7592), describes the source of the fall, as the star, Satan, the angel, messenger, of the bottomless pit, falls from heaven and opens it. Its meaning is to inquire, as in whose advice is listened to, and when to a fallen messenger, the air (state of mind) and the sun (the understanding of the church) are darkened.

Isaiah 30
1 Woe to the rebellious children, says the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked [sha’al] at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion [klimmah].

Revelation 9
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit [with His misleading advice, started the endless fall into depravity ]; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace [the smoking furnace Abram saw, in the darkness when the sun went down, during the deep sleep – see Genesis 15:12 thru 17]; and the sun [the church] and the air [the state of a clear mind – the seven times used word aer, the place we return {rising instead of falling} when the LORD pulls {harpazo – “caugh up”} us from the fires, again into the clear “air” – as in 1 Thessalonians 4:17] were darkened [became ignorant] by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts [men, misleaders who devour the minds of all humanity] upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power [to rot men inside, in their minds, in the forehead].
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal [this testimony and clear mind] of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man [not killing them, just rotting their minds].
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails [the sting is the sin that follows their evil misleading]: and their power was to hurt men five months.
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon [destruction], but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon.

We know from Ephesians 2:2, the darkened air is the spirit now at work in the children of disobedient, resulting from the fallen angel’s misleading, who is there called the prince of the power of the “air.”

Ephesians 1
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Wherein he has abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he has purposed in himself:

Ephesians 2
1 And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)
6 And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto a holy temple in the LORD:
22 In whom you also are built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

Friends (the few and elect remnant), the word “disobedience” in Ephesians 2:2 above is the seven times used Greek word apeitheia, from (the prefix) “a” reversing the word peitho, meaning, (peitho) “to convince (by argument, true or false) by analogy, to pacify or conciliate, reflexively or passively, to ascent (to evidence or authority), to rely (by inward certainty).”

This idea is the moment we’re living: when all mass media, all institutions, governments church and civil (the powers that control the air, the state of mind of the world) are violently pushing a mass delusion upon it (the world). No matter what reality argued, no matter what evidence presented, the vast majority accept the lie (the covid hoax) and bow to it when these masters (the princes of the power of the air) play the music.

The truth is there is no “pandemic,” there isn’t mass sickness or death! What there is, is mass testing finding the natural, the expected, the perennial, mutation and spread of common viruses. These evil (misleading) men then hype the evidence into the dragons of our day. The intention is to control freedom (life, liberty, and property), to give plausible justification to force submission, so injustice, crimes against the free, can be perpetrated with impunity. It’s justification for the lawless to be lawless: ignoring laws that govern in all states (even in this void, now when a state of nature exists, when there is no law), while imposing those (laws) that (supposedly) legalize their crimes against humanity (our God-given rights).

These people, the lawless, will never be convinced, no matter the evidence presented. They are beyond reason, their mind in a deadened state, zombie like, ever seeking to devour those not yet infected with their (mental) disease.

Colossians 3
6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience [apeitheia]:
7 In the which you also walked some time, when you lived in them.
8 But now you also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body; and be you thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the LORD.

Hebrews 4
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest [per Psalms 4:8], any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. [True faith is acted upon: action which is the substance of things not yet seen.]
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief [apeitheia]:
7 Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief [apeitheia].
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature [man or dragon] that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

In the context of the LORD’s discernment in me, He leads us to things He’s made “naked and opened” to my eyes. Three of the five times the word ‘abaddown appears are very descriptively in Job, the first in Job 26:6 as Job describes things “naked” before God. The chapter is telling of how God helps those without power and saves those without strength. In the first two appearances (Job 26:6 & 28:22), the LORD tells of His coming: knowing and uncovering “Hell and Destruction,” as he takes His throne in judgment. In the final appearance (Job 31:12) He tells of the crime and its manifestation, which He’s exposed.

Job 26
2 How have you helped him that is without power? how save you the arm that has no strength?
3 How have you counselled him that has no wisdom? and how have you plentifully declared the thing as it is?
4 To whom have you uttered words? and whose spirit came from you?
5 Dead things are formed from under the waters [the dead are held under the water, and from there, by this word, brought forth to judgment], and the inhabitants thereof [of Sheol]. [Revelation 11: 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and Hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.]
6 Hell [Sheol] is naked before him, and destruction [‘abaddown – Abaddon] has no covering.
7 He stretches out the north [He expounds, to bring out the secret things, His treasures held in the darkness of man’s ignorance] over the empty place [the tohuw, in the firmament of the earth become “without form”], and hangs [talah – referring us to Isaiah 22:24, when, by this all the glory of David’s house is hanged upon me by my Father] the earth upon nothing [when the earth has become a “void” – per 1 Timothy 6, saying “in His times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords”].
8 He binds up the waters [this understanding, when its removed from the earth] in his thick clouds [His treasure house and armory]; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 He [there in the cloud] holds back the face [paniym – the presence] of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it [until he reveals it from the firmament, this expounding, sending understanding].
10 He has compassed the waters with bounds [He reserves them there], until the day and night come to an end [until this end of the age and the beginning of the new day, the new heaven and earth, wherein dwells righteousness].
11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12 He divides the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smites through the proud.
13 By his spirit he has garnished the [new] heavens; his hand has formed the crooked serpent [He causes the serpent to flee, the misleading devils who see and know nothing].
14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him [He has done these marvelous things, but His people refuse to declare His holy one]? but the thunder [His voice, the mouth of God, the sound of the light] of his power who can understand?

Isaiah 22
15 Thus says the LORD God of hosts, Go, get you unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna [vigor, whose strength, to sit still, is now their confusion – Isaiah 30:3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion {klimmah}.], which is over the house, and say,
16 What have you here? and whom have you here, that you have hewed you out a sepulcher [habitations for the dead] here, as he that hews him out a sepulcher on high [among the powerful], and that graves an habitation for himself in a [false] rock [in who they trust in vain – Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, says the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: 2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!]?
17 Behold, the LORD will carry you away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover you [the understanding of His treasures].
18 He will surely violently turn and toss you like a ball into a large country: there shall you die, and there the chariots of your glory shall be the shame of your LORD’s house [where the gods of this world sit in His place].
19 And I will drive you from your station, and from your state [of a clear mind] shall he pull you down [into Sheol].
20 And it shall come to pass in that day [today is the day], that I will call my servant Eliakim [who God has raised] the son of Hilkiah [whose portion, inheritance, is Jehovah]:
21 And I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your girdle [of the high priest], and I will commit your government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.
24 And they shall hang [talah] upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
25 In that day, says the LORD of the army of heaven, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place [evil misleading, oppression, as Egypt, in which the people, in vain, trust] be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD has spoken it.

Job 28
20 From where then comes wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept closed from the fowls of the air.
22 Destruction [‘abaddown] and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
23 God understands the way thereof, and he knows the place thereof.
24 For he looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven;
25 To make the weight for the winds [to properly assess the spirit]; and he weighs the waters by measure [by assessing words, for by their word we understand the spirits of Hell and Destruction, the voices of the known dead].
26 When he made a decree for the rain [when he sent His word from heaven, as He said he would], and a way for the lightning of the thunder [His way is in giving understanding, by the mouth of His Holy one]:
27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.
28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Job 31
2 For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?
3 Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
4 Does not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
5 If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot has hasted to deceit;
6 Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.

11 For this [verse 5] is a heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges.
12 For it [verse 5] is a fire [of Hell] that consumes to destruction [‘abaddown], and would root out all mine increase.
13 If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me; [hereafter are the questions of judgment – judge yourself: what have you done, are your works vanity and deceit, as God sees them and has properly assessed?]
14 What then shall I do when God rises up? and when he visits, what shall I answer him?
15 Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?
16 If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;
17 Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless has not eaten thereof;
18 (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother’s womb;)
19 If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering;
20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;
21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:
22 Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.

In the above questions, the LORD directs us to understand that men’s lies and the resulting confusion keep His people from the (expected) end He promised. As we know, “shame” is a product of not reaching or achieving what is hoped for or expected. Here it’s from the Hebrew word klimmah, meaning “disgrace:–confusion, dishonor, reproach, shame.”

The verse is Psalms 4:2, from the chapter that ended the previous post. Its final verse tells of the expected end that comes only from the LORD, when the confusion, vanity, and falsehood are ended, shaken from heaven and earth, and the glory of the LORD, His word realized, is seen standing forever true.

Psalms 4
1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2 O you sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame? how long will you love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah.
3 But know that the LORD has set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6 There be many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift you up the light of your countenance [understanding your presence] upon us.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety.

The “vanity” these men love are the imaginations of their own minds, worthless ideas combined with pride and become the chain the binds them in darkness and ignorance of God’s glory. The word rendered “vanity” is riyq, meaning “emptiness; figuratively, a worthless thing; adverbially, in vain:–empty, to no purpose, (in) vain (thing), vanity.”

In describing this, it appears two other times in the Psalms, in Psalms 2:1 & 73:13, both rendered “vain” when telling of the thoughts of the world, at which the LORD laughs, as He declares [I Am] His son.

Psalms 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain [riyq] thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O you kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psalms 73

The word “imagine,” in Psalms 2:1 above, is the Hebrew word hagah, meaning “to murmur (in pleasure or anger); by implication, to ponder:–imagine, meditate, mourn, mutter, roar, X sore, speak, study, talk, utter.”

Isaiah 30
1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3 Therefore shall the strength [to sit still and do nothing – as in verse 7 below] of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion [klimmah].
4 For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.
5 They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
6 The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain [riyq – worthless and without effect], and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.
8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever:
9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
12 Wherefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.
14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.
15 For thus says the LORD God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall you be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and you would not.
16 But you said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall you flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall you flee: till you be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign [nec – the pole upon which the son of man must be lifted – so his voice is heard above all others] on a hill.

20 And though the LORD give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not your teachers be removed into a corner any more, but your eyes shall see your teachers:
21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.
22 You shall defile also the covering of your graven images of silver, and the ornament of your molten images of gold: you shall cast them away as a menstruous cloth; you shall say unto it, Get you hence.
23 Then shall he give the rain of your seed, that you shall sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall your cattle feed in large pastures.

29 You shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept [qadash – when you declare His Holy One]; and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.
30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting [understanding] down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
31 For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian [communists in church and state] be beaten down, which smote with a rod.
32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it.
33 For Tophet [the place of fires] is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he has made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, does kindle it.

The word rendered “falsehood” in the title verse is kazab, meaning “falsehood; literally (untruth) or figuratively (idol):–deceitful, false, leasing, + liar, lie, lying.” In this context, read again how Paul ends His letter to Timothy, in 1 Timothy 6, as he speaks regarding teaching the truth, a language foreign to this corrupted generation.

1 Timothy 6
1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters [teachers] worthy of all honor, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 And they that have believing masters [teacher], let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our LORD Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strife of words, whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil surmising,
5 Perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness [as do the false prophets and false teachers of the false church]: from such withdraw yourself.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on [epilambanomai] eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens [who brings to life from death] all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords;
16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light [understanding] which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate [this word of God];
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on [epilambanomai] eternal life.

The phrase “LORD of lords” only appear a few times: here referring us to Deuteronomy 10:17, and Revelation 17:14 & 19:16.

Deuteronomy 10
12 And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?
14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD’s your God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
15 Only the LORD had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and LORD of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regards not persons, nor takes reward:
18 He does execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and love the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
19 Love you therefore the stranger: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Isaiah 28
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem [tsphiyrah] of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine [shmuw’ah]? them that are weaned from the milk, and [have] drawn from the breasts [of the Ancient of Days].
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

16 Therefore thus says the LORD God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies [kazab], and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report [shmuw’ah].
20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim [2 Samuel 5:20 & 21: as waters, this word of God, breaking forth upon the enemies], he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon [Joshua 10:10 & 11: God’s word, reserved in heaven for this moment, coming as hailstones], that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the LORD God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
23 Give you ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Revelation 17
12 And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings [civil governments of the world, now oppressing all people], which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast [Babylon – they rise in the confusion and delusion that now rules the world] .
13 These have one mind [of oppression], and shall give their power and strength unto the beast [Babylon – confusion].
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is LORD of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he said unto me, The waters which you saw, where the whore [the church fallen away from God to follow other men who put themselves in His place] sit, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these [civil governments] shall hate the whore [the apostate church], and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God has put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast [unto confusion and delusion], until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

Revelation 18
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened [given understanding] with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

James 5

Revelation 19
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Psalms 40
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Truly, truly, I say unto you, When you were young, you girded yourself, and walked where you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you where you would not [go on your own].

The words “girded” and “gird” above (John 21:18) are from the Greek words zonnumi, which only appears here, meaning “to bind about (especially with a belt).” In the previous post, we discussed the Hebrew words chabash and ‘acar, both meaning and rendered “bind up,” (speaking of when the LORD raises the house of David and closes up the breach thereof.)

Amos 9
11 In that day will I raise up the house of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom [the enemies mixed among us], and of all the heathen [those who don’t know {are ignorant of} God, even though they say they do] which are called by my name, says the LORD that does this.

In an earlier post, we saw the word ‘ezowr, rendered “girdle,” “from 246; something girt; a belt, also a band:–girdle.”

Also from this earlier (28 July 2021) post: “The girdle (‘ezowr), the preparation by God’s leading, teaching, and advising, is first mentioned in 2 Kings 1:8 [describing Elijah wearing it], in the pattern shown when God’s people seek advice (saving) from the gods of the world, instead of from Him with us (as Jeremiah confessed knowing).”

Malachi 3
1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before [paniym – as My presence] me: and the LORD, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, says the LORD of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, says the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 4
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

As seen, this preparation is spoken of in Isaiah 61:1, before the chapter tells of repairing the ruin and breach that comes upon the house.

Isaiah 61
1 The Spirit of the LORD God is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up [chabash] the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Isaiah 11
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle [‘ezowr] of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle [‘ezowr] of his reins.

Isaiah 30
26 Moreover the light of the moon [understanding of civil Government] shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun [the understanding of the church] shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up [chabash] the breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold, the name of the LORD comes from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

When the LORD, in the title verse, tells Peter, when he is old he will “stretch forth” his hand and another will gird (prepare him), he is referring to Matthew 14:31. It’s a pattern of being caught up (harpazo – to seize, against the will), a pattern of this moment, when the LORD’s hand is stretched out (ekteino), to pull His people from the fires of the world’s tribulation. There the word rendered “caught” is epilambanomai, meaning “to seize (for help, injury, attainment, or any other purpose; literally or figuratively):–catch, lay hold (up-)on, take (by, hold of, on).”

Matthew 14
22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship [the church as an institution], and to go before him unto the other side [this time], while he sent the multitudes away.
23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening [when darkness, ignorance, covered the earth] was come, he was there alone.
24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea [among the people at large], tossed with waves [the pride of men, who’ve agitated the world by their misleading]: for the wind was contrary [their spirit resists and opposes the LORD among them unknown].
25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea [among the people at large].
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I [ego eimi – I Am, the Father in me is present]; be not afraid.
28 And Peter answered him and said, LORD, if it be you, bid me come unto you on the water [to understand your word].
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship [came out from the among them, away from corrupted church doctrine], he walked on the water [on the word of God], to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, LORD, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth [ekteino] his hand, and caught [epilambanomai] him, and said unto him, O you of little faith, wherefore did you doubt?
32 And when they were come into the ship [when His sound doctrine is returned to its rightful place in the church], the wind [the contrary spirit] ceased.
33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth you are the Son of God.

As we know, the Greek word harpazo is rendered “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, a passage twisted by the false prophets and false teachers of our time into the false (fly away) doctrine of the rapture. As we know, the same word (harpazo) is explained in Jude 1:23, there rendered “pulling,” when telling us to pull from the fire (of tribulation) with fear: telling them their garments spotted by the flesh endanger them. “And others save with fear, pulling [harpazo] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

We know the same word (harpazo), is used by the LORD in John 10:21 in telling of the wolf that “catches” and scatters the sheep, and in Matthew 11:12 as He speaks of the kingdom of heaven suffering violence, and the violent “take it by force.”

When it appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, it depicts the LORD’s coming that coincides with the description in Exodus 19 referred to in Jeremiah 31:32. The passage in Jeremiah is quoted in Hebrews 8, where, in verse 9, the word epilambanomai is used speaking of when the LORD “took them by” the hand and led them out of bondage. The Hebrew equivalent word used is chazaq, meaning “to fasten upon; hence, to seize, be strong (figuratively, courageous, causatively strengthen, cure, help, repair, fortify), obstinate; to bind, restrain, conquer.”

It (chazaq) is, in Jeremiah 31:32, rendered “took them by” and Exodus 19:19 as “waxed louder and louder,” speaking of the “voice of the trumpet,” on the third day, calling all to gather to the LORD. This is the pattern of the voice of the archangel, the trumpet sounding, described by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 & 17, of which we should not be ignorant.

As we know, Hebrews 12 tell us (while the pattern of arrival and the voice are the same) the place reached is different, which is the point made in Jeremiah 31 and Hebrew 8: the new covenant learned in the presence of the LORD with us.

Exodus 19
5 Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.
7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.
9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,
11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
12 And you shall set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that you go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.
14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder [chazaq – when the voice took hold], Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai [among the thorns – to quell the agitation of the misleading], on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.
23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for you charged us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

The last verses above are what is different: now all can enter the presence of God, by following the forerunner He’s sent.

Hebrews 6:
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enter into that within the veil [into the Father’s presence]
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made a high priest forever after the order of Melchisedec [from outside the corrupt priest order of the moment].

Hebrews 8
8 For finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by [epilambanomai] the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, says the LORD.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he says, A new covenant, he has made the first old. Now that which decayed and waxed old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 12
18 For you are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But you are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.
25 See that you refuse not him that speaks. [You should fear] For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him [I Am] that speaks from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

1 Thessalonians 4
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up [harpazo] together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 5
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the LORD so comes as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our LORD Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify [educate] one another, even as also you do.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you [teaching], and are over you in the LORD, and admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

1 Timothy 6
1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters [teachers] worthy of all honor, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 And they that have believing masters [teacher], let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our LORD Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strife of words, whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil surmising,
5 Perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness [as do the false prophets and false teachers of the false church]: from such withdraw yourself.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on [epilambanomai] eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens [who brings to life from death] all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords;
16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light [understanding] which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate [this word of God];
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on [epilambanomai] eternal life.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings [the confusion of this world]: the antitheses of knowledge, while falsely so called:
21 Which some professing [the reversed reality of this deluded world] have erred concerning the faith [believing instead there is peace and safety in following their insanity]. Grace be with you. Amen.

James 5
1 Go to now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. You have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, cries: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the LORD of the army of heaven.
5 You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; you have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6 You have condemned [katadikazo] and killed the just; and he does not resist you.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the LORD. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be you also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the LORD draws nigh.
9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest you be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.
10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the LORD, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the LORD; that the LORD is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest you fall into condemnation.

Daniel 12
1 And at that time shall Michael [the archangel, who is like God, whose voice is as a trumpet calling all to awaken in His presence] stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some [the woke of the world] to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

John 5
24 Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25 Truly, truly, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.

Jeremiah 8
1 At that time, says the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:
2 And they shall spread them before the sun [the darkened church], and the moon [the ignorant civil government], and all the host of heaven [those who claim to be the stars of heaven, drunken in confusion], whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, says the LORD of hosts.
4 Moreover you shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
5 Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.
6 I hearkened and heard, but they spoke not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rushes into the battle.
7 Yea, the stork in the heaven knows her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.
8 How do you say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one deals falsely.
11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
12 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, says the LORD.
13 I will surely consume them, says the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
14 Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God has put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
15 We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble!
16 The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.
17 For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, says the LORD.
18 When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.
19 Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?
20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment has taken hold on me.
22 Is there no balm in Gilead [is there no healing in this testimony]; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Jude 1
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The LORD rebuke you.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage [because of their positions of power].
17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling [harpazo] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted [see verse 12 above] by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Psalms 4
1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2 O you sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame? how long will you love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah.
3 But know that the LORD has set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6 There be many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift you up the light of your countenance [understanding your presence] upon us.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety.

I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

I am against you, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

Before we begin, a few words about the false church, who, as Job’s so-called friends who used partial truths to accuse the innocent falsely, is known by this trait. This is the mark, the confusion and fear that shows they have submitted to the pressure of the day, which (culture) ultimately wants no judgment that differentiates between good and evil, while it contradicts itself as it wrongly judges the innocent who do judge by the clear eye of the mind of Christ.

Did the LORD tell us not to judge? The answer is, it’s a partial statement, the LORD following saying to get the beam out of your eye so we can see clearly to judge rightly. As we’ve seen, the “beam” He speaks of is from the Greek word dokos, said to be a derivate of dechomai, meaning to receive, and more likely from dokeo, meaning what you think to be true or false, by the truth that comes through trial. It (dokos) is the balance beam of judgment, upon which ideas and words are weighed and understood.

Matthew 7
1 Judge not, that you be not judged.
2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why behold you the mote that is in your brother’s eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye?
4 Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the mote out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye?
5 You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother’s eye.

When the LORD begins a similar statement, in Luke 6:38, He says, “Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven.”

The word “condemn” here is the five times used Greek word katadikazo, meaning “to adjudge against, i.e. pronounce guilty.” The LORD’s other uses of the word tell us what does condemn: corrupt trees bringing forth the fruit of corrupt judgment, who with their own words pronounce themselves guilty of condemning the innocent.

Matthew 12
6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
7 But if you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned [katdikazo] the guiltless.
8 For the Son of man is LORD even of the sabbath day.
9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:
10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
13 Then said he to the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
16 And charged them that they should not make him known:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show JUDGMENT to the Gentiles.
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.
23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathers not with me scatters abroad.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned [katadikazo].
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from you.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man [when I, by the finger of God, have cast out the misleaders], he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
44 Then he said, I will return into my house [when he has come out from among the deceivers and returned to his right mind] from whence I came out; and when he is come, he finds it empty, swept, and garnished.
45 Then goes he, and taketh with himself seven [the partial teaching of false churches, that misleads and blurs the lines of good judgment] other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first [because he thinks he is saved and instead is condemning the guiltless]. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, your mother and your brethren stand without, desiring to speak with you.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

In the above, the LORD, in verse 7, when speaking of the corrupt judgment of this generation (which condemns the guiltless), quotes Hosea 6:6 telling what is lacking. It says, as it is above, they (this generation) lack “the knowledge of God,” which He desires above all other offerings. The chapter is referenced as the contextual anchor of His words.

Hosea 6
1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he has torn [we are divided against ourselves and fallen], and he will heal us; he has smitten, and he will bind [chabash] us up [see Isaiah 30:26 below].
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD [the knowledge of God the Father in the son]: his going forth is prepared as the morning [as the light, understanding, of a new day]; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth [this word of God from heaven].
4 O Ephraim [God’s people in this generation], what shall I do unto you? O Judah [My elect remnant] what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away.
5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and your judgments are as the light [understanding] that goes forth.
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God [the Father in the son] more than burnt offerings.
7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8 Gilead [the place to where this mountain of testimony has come] is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood [polluted with the life-draining words of men].
9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim [this generation that left God for men who put themselves in His place], Israel is defiled.
11 Also, O Judah [My elect remnant], he has set a harvest for you, when I returned the captivity of my people [returned them to the LORD].

Isaiah 30
15 For thus says the LORD God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall you be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and you would not.
16 But you said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall you flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall you flee: till you be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign [nec – the pole upon which the son of man must be lifted – so his voice is heard above all others] on a hill.
18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: you shall weep no more: he will be very gracious unto you at the voice of your cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer you.
20 And though the LORD give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not your teachers be removed into a corner any more, but your eyes shall see your teachers:
21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.
22 You shall defile also the covering of your graven images of silver, and the ornament of your molten images of gold: you shall cast them away as a menstruous cloth; you shall say unto it, Get you hence.
23 Then shall he give the rain of your seed, that you shall sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall your cattle feed in large pastures.
24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which has been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.
25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
26 Moreover the light of the moon [understanding of civil Government] shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun [the understanding of the church] shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up [chabash] the breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold, the name of the LORD comes from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.
29 You shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept [qadash – when you declare His Holy One]; and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.
30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting [understanding] down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
31 For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian [communists in church and state] be beaten down, which smote with a rod.
32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it.
33 For Tophet [the place of fires] is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he has made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, does kindle it.

Isaiah 61
1 The Spirit of the LORD God is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up [chabash] the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But you shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves.
7 For your shame you shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD has blessed.
10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the LORD God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

The title, from Ezekiel 28:22, is the LORD saying, by His (this) good judgment, He will be glorified among His people and by them declared to be the Holy One (sanctified). Before this statement, the chapter speaks of His judgment against the princes and king of Tyrus, a name meaning rock: speaking of the false church leaders. He describes the king as one of the covering cherubim, who was in the garden, speaking of Satan. As we know, the cherubim are above the mercy seat, and, per Ezekiel 3:8, depict the messengers God sends, their face against the face of those they are sent to, speaking God’s word just as He gives it. Satan, the fallen messenger of God, in the pattern of Reuben, the son of perdition, took his father’s place with the women (the church) and misled her into blindness to (without knowledge, understanding, of) Him.

These misleaders, their type, are then described as Zidon, meaning they are hunters of men’s souls. The name is from the word tsuwd, meaning “to lie alongside (i.e. in wait); by implication, to catch an animal (figuratively, men); (denominative from 6718) to victual (for a journey).” Ezekiel uses the word four times, in Ezekiel 13:18 & 20, all telling of those who hunt souls, telling them they will fly away to safety. The chapter cryptically describes the false prophets and the woman (church).

Ezekiel 13
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say you unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear you the word of the LORD;
3 Thus says the LORD God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4 O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
5 You have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD says: and the LORD has not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
7 Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, whereas you say, The LORD said it; albeit I have not spoken?
8 Therefore thus says the LORD God; Because you have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the LORD God.
9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing [kathab] of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the LORD God.
10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall [of lies], and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower [this latter rain]; and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. [Isaiah 28:21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim {2 Samuel 5:20 – when these waters break forth upon the enemies of truth, as it now has}, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon {Joshua 10:10 & 11 as this word, reserved, frozen, in heaven is sent upon these enemies, as is now is}, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.]
12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith you have daubed it?
13 Therefore thus says the LORD God; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
14 So will I break down the wall [of lies] that you have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophecy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the LORD God.
17 Likewise, you son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy you against them,
18 And say, Thus says the LORD God; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes [so the arm/work of the LORD is not seen], and make kerchiefs upon the head [cover the head so His face isn’t seen as the one doing the work] of every stature to hunt [tsuwd] souls! Will you hunt [tsuwd] the souls of my people, and will you save the souls alive that come unto you?
19 And will you pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread [for your own gain], to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
20 Wherefore thus says the LORD God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith you there hunt [tsuwd] the souls to make them fly [telling them they will fly away to safety], and I will tear them from your arms [where you hold them down in your graves/traps], and will let the souls go, even the souls that you hunt [tsuwd] to make them fly.
21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
22 Because with lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
23 Therefore you shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and you shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 28
1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus [princes of the false rock – the false prophets and false teachers who’ve put themselves in God’s place and polluted the Holy], Thus says the LORD God; Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are a man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God:
3 Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from you:
4 With your wisdom and with your understanding you have gotten you riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasures:
5 By your great wisdom and by your traffic have you increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches:
6 Therefore thus says the LORD God; Because you have set your heart as the heart of God;
7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon you, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness [pollute your understanding].
8 They shall bring you down to the pit, and you shall die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
9 Will you yet say before him that slays you, I am God? but you shall be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slays you.
10 You shall die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the LORD God.
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus [the spirit of the son of perdition – deceivers and misleaders in church and state, in who men, in vain, put their trust], and say unto him, Thus says the LORD God; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created.
14 You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was found in you.
16 By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
18 You have defiled your sanctuaries [your churches] by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
19 All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be any more.
20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
21 Son of man, set your face against Zidon [those who hunt souls], and prophesy against it,
22 And say, Thus says the LORD God; Behold, I am against you, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the LORD God.
25 Thus says the LORD God; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

Ezekiel 3
1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that you findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this roll that I give you. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get you unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
5 For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel;
6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have hearkened unto you.
7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto you; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
8 Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.
9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.
11 And go, get you to them of the captivity, unto the children of your people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the LORD God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.
13 I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.
14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.
15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib [this flood of living waters], that dwelt by the river of Chebar [where He saw, understood, far off into the future – where this word would go, as a wheel within a wheel, to be there heard, understood, and bring God’s people to life from their long sleep], and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17 Son of man [I Am], I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.
19 Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
20 Again, When a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at your hand.
21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.
22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with you.
23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar [far off]: and I fell on my face.
24 Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spoke with me, and said unto me, Go, shut yourself within your house.
25 But you, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon you, and shall bind you [‘acar – as one binds a strong man, as Samson was bound, who, in Isaiah 61:1 the LORD bring out of prison, as Jeremiah was loosed from his chains, in Jeremiah 40:1] with them, and you shall not go out among them:
26 And I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, that you shall be dumb, and shall not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.
27 But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD God; He that hears, let him hear; and he that forbears, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.

Psalms 105
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk you of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory you in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6 O you seed of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen.
7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he broke the whole staff of bread.
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 He made him LORD of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 To bind [‘acar] his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants.
26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31 He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34 He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,
35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labor of the people;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise you the LORD.
