Now I am come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

Now I am come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

Friends, In the above, Daniel 10:14, the LORD brings to our attention several basic rules of understanding. The first is it’s a small thing for God to write His word specifically to be received by us today, several thousand years ago through His Spirit in a man. His intended purpose is to strengthen our faith by understanding, which (strength) allows us to overcome the pervading evil saturating the day.

This is what Gabriel (the man, warrior, of God) is telling Daniel, who at the report, realizes His own weakness, is silenced and then able to receive the LORD’s strength. As we saw in the post of 8 August 2021, this awakening and strengthening are now hastening (chuwsh), as the LORD, as in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, Jude 1:23, and Zechariah 3:2 plucks (harpazo and natsal) us from the fires of the world’s troubles. These (fires) only come after our weakening, and in the resulting ignorance, we sleep in the dust (ashes of the fires, the ruin) of the earth.

As we saw in that title (8 August 2021), it’s when, “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten [chuwsh] it in his time.”

Below, ending with Deuteronomy 32, are excerpts from the above-referenced post:

The above is Isaiah 60:22, the final verse in a chapter that tells of when the light (understanding) has come into the gross darkness (ignorance) covering the earth and her people. The time of the increase, the harvest now hastening is in the time when people no longer put their trust in government, of church or state, but in Him to whom it appertains.

Jeremiah 10
1 Hear you the word which the LORD speaks unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus says the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

7 Who would not fear you, O King of nations? for to you does it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto you.
8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.
9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish [those who’ve fled from their vows], and gold from Uphaz [whose god is gold: the wealth they extort], the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing [they put their creations in God’s place and call them God]: they are all the work of cunning men.
10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
11 Thus shall you say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
12 He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
13 When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning with rain, and brings forth the wind [His Spirit] out of his treasures [by his understanding].
14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath [life] in them.
15 They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his steps.
24 O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.
25 Pour out your fury upon the heathen that know you not, and upon the families that call not on your name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

As we know, the question above, “Who would not fear you, O King of nations?” which tells us to whom it appertains, is quoted in Revelation 15, which speaks of the victory over the idols. It comes when the testimony in heaven is opened, and the wrath of God has come to smoke the vermin from their hiding places. It, as does Isaiah 60, tells of when all gather to the light, describing it here (in Revelation 15) as when the LORD’s “judgments are made manifest.”

The above, in speaking of Uphaz, refers us to Daniel 10, the name’s only other appearance. There Daniel tells of seeing the glorious (splendid and pure) looking idol that comes first, by which his strength is removed, he becomes corrupt, and falls into a deep sleep. He, in the person of Gabriel (warrior of God), later calls this idol the prince of Persia (meaning splendid and pure), against who he fights. He (Gabriel) says after he has gone forth, “the prince of Grecia [Yavan] shall come,” the name said to be “probably from the same as 3196; effervescing (i.e. hot and active).”

The Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary definition of #3196: yayin, is “from an unused root meaning to effervesce; wine (as fermented); by implication, intoxication.” The name is speaking of the time of intoxication (stupefaction) that is Daniel’s deep sleep.

Gabriel ends, speaking of the one to whom it appertains, none hold with (has this understanding with) him in these things, but Michael (who is like God) your prince. As we know, Michael is the one described (in Daniel 12), as here in the latter days awakening God’s people from the earth’s dust (ashes and ruin). This is the person in Daniel 10, whose voice wakes Him, after he’s become dumb (silent) and without strength, when his mouth is touched and opened by one like (similitude of) the appearance of the son of man.

These are describing what is now hastening, and to who it appertains.

Daniel 10
1 In the third year of Cyrus [LORD of the furnace – as in Genesis 15:12 thru 17, when Abram, in darkness in a deep sleep, saw the furnace] the king of Persia [the King of kings, who is truly splendid and pure] a thing was revealed unto Daniel [the judgment of God], whose name was called Belteshazzar [“LORD of the straitened’s treasure” the LORD of understanding held in Shinar – see Daniel 1:2]; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel [the hastening – as in the title];
5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz [whose god is gold]:
6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. [Jeremiah 10:8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities. 9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish [those who’ve fled from their vows], and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing they are all the work of cunning men.]
7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9 Yet heard I the voice of his words [misleading]: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10 And, behold, a hand [of God’s anointed son] touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto you, and stand upright: for unto you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I am come for your words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia [the prince of the power of the air, who claims to be splendid and pure, but instead corrupts and destroys] withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael [the one who is like God], one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia [the King of kings].
14 Now I am come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days [days we know are explained in Daniel 12, and there showing us the deep sleep started with Abram’s vision and ends now].
15 And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16 And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men [son of man] touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spoke, and said unto him that stood before me, O my LORD, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17 For how can the servant of this my LORD talk with this my LORD? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath [life] left in me. [Now, in judgment, when this is confessed, the resurrection, the quickening to life, takes place and now hastens]
18 Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto you, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my LORD speak [these words which return strength, as understanding, light]; for you have strengthened me.
20 Then said he, Know you wherefore I come unto you? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21 But I will show you that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holds with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Daniel 12
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
4 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Isaiah 60
1 Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.

14 The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you: but the LORD shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.
20 Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.
21 Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

The word “hasten” in the title verse is chuwsh, meaning “to hurry; figuratively, to be eager with excitement or enjoyment:–(make) haste(-n), ready.” Its meaning implies the opposite of shame (the disappointment and dishonor when what is foretold and therefore expected, doesn’t come).

It (chuwsh) is the elation (rapture) occurring when what is expected is seen coming, as we rush toward it hurrying its meeting. As we know, this is also a facet in the word harpazo, rendered “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (which the false prophets and false teachers of our time have twisted into their fly away false doctrines).

The word (harpazo) means to seize, by force, and is rendered “pulling” in Jude 1:23 where we’re told to, with fear, pull some from the fire caused by their garments spotted by the flesh. The referenced “spot” is that spoken of earlier in the chapter, in verse 12, when describing of the false prophets among us, who “are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water [without God-given understanding], carried about of winds [of false doctrine]; trees whose fruit wither [as it now does in the presence of the LORD], without fruit, twice dead [the “second death” in this judgment], plucked up by the roots; 13 Raging waves [proud men] of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness [ignorance] forever.”

Jude 1
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling [harpazo] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh [false prophets, from where we are pulled into His clear air].
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

As we’ve seen, the LORD forcefully pulling us to Him, implies we (the church) don’t want to go there, and neither can we get to Him by ourselves (by our own means). He is the only way, through His truth and light. This aspect is what He speaks of, recorded in John 21:18, saying “Truly, truly, I say unto you, When you were young, you girded yourself, and walked where you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you [prepare you with thing needed], and carry you where you would not [and could not, go yourself].”

What hastens our return to Him is our, “eager with excitement or enjoyment,” taking His now stretched-out hand. This same event is the calamity that falls upon those who’ve scattered and now hold down (katecho) God’s people, who will hold them down (let) until they are taken out of the way.

Deuteronomy 32
9 O that they [My people] were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
30 How should one [a little one who shall become the many thousands, and tens of thousands times tens of thousands] chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?
35 To me belongs vengeance and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste [chuwsh].
36 For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock [idols] in whom they trusted,
38 Which [false prophets and false teachers with their false god, whose god is their belly] did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live forever.

The word rendered “strength,” “strengthened,” and “holds” in Daniel 10 above, speaking of what the LORD is hastening us to, is the Hebrew word chazaq, meaning “to fasten upon; hence, to seize, be strong (figuratively, courageous, causatively strengthen, cure, help, repair, fortify), obstinate; to bind, restrain, conquer.”

The LORD, through Moses, uses the word chazaq, in Deuteronomy 31:6, 7, & 23, rendered “strong” as He, in a pattern, tells His people and Joshua (Jesus), to “be strong and of a good courage.” In this, He calls us now, describing what has befallen us in these last days, and assuring us He is leading us into His strength and our good. Later, in Joshua 1:6, 7 ,9 , & 18, it (chazaq) is used as Joshua repeats the same phrase, as if a song, commanding the army (hosts) of God’s people to prepare for the Passover that’s coming IN THREE DAYS.

The word in both chapters rendered “courage” is the Hebrew word ‘amats, meaning “to be alert, physically (on foot) or mentally (in courage).” The deeper meaning in these words can be understood as equal to the Greek word zoopaieo, meaning “to (re-)vitalize (literally or figuratively).” It is telling of the quickening of the senses when we become supernatural in proportionate response to the danger at hand, when God’s Spirit in us takes complete control, and we overflow with His strength and courage.

As we know, Joshua (Jesus) is the son of Nun (in perpetuity), who is a son of Ephraim, the son of Joseph. In Deuteronomy 33, as Moses blesses the children of Israel, and tell of the LORD’s coming with His ten thousands, they are the saints also spoken of above, in Jude, when Enoch is quoted, saying, “Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” In Deuteronomy 33, in speaking of Joseph, Jesus, in these last days, we’re told of the blessing that comes from the deep things revealed through him, and then through the sun and the moon: His strengthened and courageous people, in church and state.

Deuteronomy 33
1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai [rose up among thorns: misleaders], and rose up from Seir [among the devils, misleaders, mixed among us] unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran [as clarity among their confusion] , and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in your hand: and they sat down at your feet; every one shall receive of your words.
4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
5 And he was king in Jeshurun [under whose reign God’s people learned the ways of peace and prospered], when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven [understanding held there until this moment], for the dew, and for the deep that couches beneath,
14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun [church], and for the precious things put forth by the moon [civil government],
15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains [the path to life], and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16 And for the precious things of the earth and fullness thereof, and for the good will [God’s will is our good, for which He comes in flaming fire] of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 His [Joseph’s – Jesus’] glory is like the firstling [the firstborn among the God’s flock] of his bullock, and his horns [power to reign] are like the horns of unicorns [as the only power, the Most High, the Almighty]: with them he shall push the people together [into one Body] to [at] the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim [upon who this second blessing has come], and they are the thousands of Manasseh [who forgot God, and now remember Him and His ways].

Deuteronomy 31
1 And Moses went and spoke these words unto all Israel.
2 And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD has said unto me, You shall not go over this Jordan.
3 The LORD your God, he will go over before you, and he will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall possess them: and Joshua [Jesus – the perpetual son, Jehovah’s Salvation in the flesh of the son He proclaims], he shall go over before you, as the LORD has said.

6 Be strong [chazaq] and of a good courage [‘amats], fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.
7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong [chazaq] and of a good courage [‘amats]: for you must go with this people unto the land which the LORD has sworn unto their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.
8 And the LORD, he it is that does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.

16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
18 And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.
19 Now therefore write you this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I swore unto their fathers, that flows with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
21 And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.
22 Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.
23 And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong [chazaq] and of a good courage [‘amats]: for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore unto them: and I will be with you.
24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
25 That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,
26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you.
27 For I know your rebellion, and your stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, you have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?
28 Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.
29 For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
30 And Moses spoke in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.

Joshua 1
1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spoke unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before you all the days of your life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with you: I will not fail you, nor forsake you.
6 Be strong [chazaq] and of a good courage [‘amats] : for unto this people shall you divide for an inheritance the land, which I swore unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be you strong [chazaq] and very courageous [‘amats], that you may observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper withersoever you go.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous [as Jeshurun], and then you shall have good success.
9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong [chazaq] and of a good courage [‘amats]; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you whithersoever you go.
10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days you shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God gives you to possess it.

16 And they answered Joshua, saying, All that you command us we will do, and whithersoever you send us, we will go.
17 According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto you: only the LORD your God be with you, as he was with Moses.
18 Whosoever he be that does rebel against your commandment, and will not hearken unto your words in all that you command him, he shall be put to death: only be strong [chazaq] and of a good courage [‘amats].

John 21
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things so-ever he does, these also does the Son likewise.
20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
21 For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens [zoopoieo] them; even so the Son quickens [zoopoieo] whom he will.
22 For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent him.
24 Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25 Truly, truly, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming [has come], in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the [good] will of the Father which has sent me.
31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
32 There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true.

2 Peter 1
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our LORD Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light [understanding] that shines in a dark [ignorant] place, until the day dawn, and the day star [phosphoros – light bearer, the morning star] arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation [creations of the mind of evil men].
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily [by their private interpretations – creations of their own minds] shall bring in damnable [apoleia] heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction [aploeia].
2 And many shall follow their pernicious [apoleia] ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation [apoleia – perdition] slumbers not.

Romans 4
16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17 (As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickens [zoopoieo] the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall your seed be.
19 And being not weak [being strong] in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God [who brings the supernatural to pass];
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our LORD from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

1 Corinthians 15
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first-fruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive [zoopoieo – strengthened to life and made courageous, putting on immortality].
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the first-fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening [zoopoieo] spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the LORD from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?

Psalms 27
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When you said, Seek you my face [presence]; my heart said unto you, Your face [presence], LORD, will I seek.
9 Hide not your face [presence] far from me; put not your servant away in anger: you have been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage [chazaq], and he shall strengthen [‘amats] your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
