The word “LORD” here [ending Part 1] is the Hebrew word ‘adown, “from an unused root (meaning to rule); sovereign, i.e. controller (human or divine).” Above it tells of the LORD’s (Jehovah’s) presence no longer manifested in the king, who doesn’t rule as He rules, which is God’s glory in those that do.

1 Timothy 6
11 But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give you charge in the sight of God, who quicken all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords;
16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate [this word of God, as received];
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

The word “honor,” in verse 16 above, is time, the origin of the name Tim. It (time) is the equivalent of the Hebrew word yqar, “value, i.e. (concretely) wealth; abstractly, costliness, dignity:–honor, precious (things), price.”

John 4
41 And many more believed because of his own word;
42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of your saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.
43 Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.
44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet has no honor [time] in his own country.

Zechariah 9
8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passes by, and because of him that returns: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly [‘aniy], and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea [all people throughout eternity – the dead raise here and now], and from the river even to the ends [the end of the old and the beginning of the new] of the earth.
11 As for you also, by the blood of your covenant [the sacrifice, the price paid to the betrayers, so they would hear My voice, the word of God] I have sent forth your prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
12 Turn you to the strong hold, you prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto you;
13 When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim [those who’ve received this second {double} blessing], and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece [the drunkards of Ephraim, whose crown is removed], and made you as the sword of a mighty man.
14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.
16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

The word rendered above as “ensign” is the once used Hebrew word nacac, meaning “to gleam from afar, i.e. to be conspicuous as a signal.” It is speaking of a flag or banner as it’s seen moving by the invisible force of the wind, like the Spirit of God moves His people. John 3:8 The wind blows where it lists [the Spirit moves as He wills], and you hear the sound [voice] thereof, but can not tell where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born [again] of the Spirit.

John 3
5 Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again.
8 The wind blows where it lists, and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell whence it comes, and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Are you a master [teacher] of Israel, and knows not these things?
11 Truly, truly, I say unto you, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light [understanding] is come into the world, and men loved darkness [ignorance] rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Lifting up the son of man is the price (time – Tim) that must be paid.

An identical word (nacac), also used only once, appears in Isaiah 10:18, meaning “to wane, i.e. be sick.”

It’s there rendered “standard bearer” telling of those said to be upright and many, as the trees of the forest, in who the people have trusted for advice (which is destroying them) faint (macac). The chapter ends speaking of Gideon’s (warrior of God, who wields the sword and ax of the LORD, as the hewer of trees) slaughter of Midian (those causing strife and agitation – those now in power who control the information that flows to the sea), which is spoken of in Zechariah 11:4 & 7 above.

Isaiah 10
10 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
3 And what will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will you flee for help? and where will you leave your glory?
4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
5 O Assyrian [communists], the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
6 I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Howbeit he means not so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
8 For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings?
9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the LORD has performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria [the communists], and the glory of his high looks.
13 For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
14 And my hand has found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathers eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
15 Shall the axe boast itself against him that hews therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shakes it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.
16 Therefore shall the LORD, the LORD of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers [misleaders] in one day;
18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer [nacac] faints [macac].
19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob [here using the name of all Israel {Ephraim and Judah} when they were still unknowingly wrestling with God], shall no more again stay upon him that smote them [the neglectful thorns and briers whose leadership is the root of the problem]; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23 For the LORD God of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
24 Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, O my people that dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian [the communists]: he shall smite you with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt.
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.
26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
28 He is come to Aiath [the heap of ruin], he is passed to Migron [the precipice]; at Michmash [where it is hidden] he has laid up his carriages:
29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba [the high places of power]; Ramah [the men who make themselves gods] is afraid; Gibeah of Saul [the high ones the people desire] is fled.
30 Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim [of these springs of living waters]: cause it to be heard unto Laish [as the roar of Lion], O poor [‘aniy – humble] Anathoth [who’ve heard the LORD].
31 Madmenah [the dunghill – BS in high places] is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim [those who’ve poisoned, polluted with dung, the well] gather themselves to flee.
32 As yet shall he remain at Nob [in their high places] that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the LORD, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down [with the sword of the LORD and of Gideon], and the haughty shall be humbled.
34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon [the so-called upright in high places, the corrupt who are pure by their own twisted and perverted definitions] shall fall by a mighty one.

To those who’ve come this far, who love this word, the LORD brought you here to reveal another mystery, hidden here in plain sight.

Matthew 27
3 Then Judas [Judah – the leaders of God’s people, the kings and princes of today], which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders [of God’s people, today],
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see you to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price [time – Tim] of blood.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in.
8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price [time – Tim] of him that was valued [timao – Tim], whom they of the children of Israel did value [timao – Tim];
10 And gave them for the potter’s field, as the LORD appointed [suntasso – as the Father arranged with] me.
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Are you the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, You sayest [your own words and actions say I Am].
12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

The peculiar and curious aspect in the above is Jeremiah never said what’s reported the event fulfills. The mystery begins to unfold as the LORD leads us to examine the word “saying,” which is said to be from the Greek word lego, “a primary verb; properly, to “lay” forth, i.e. (figuratively) relate (in words (usually of systematic or set discourse); by implication, to mean.”

In the original text, the word is written as legontos, the suffix ontos (Strong’s 3689) meaning, “really:–certainly, clean, indeed, of a truth, truly.” It is referring to what Jeremiah really said, which is what is spoken of by Zechariah in Zachariah 11. It’s Divine engineering, intended to lead us to John 8:36 and 1 Corinthians 14:25, and 2 Peter 2:18, and after, to the things Jeremiah truly said.

John 8
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest you, You shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abides not in the house forever: but the Son abides ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed [ontos – truly].
37 I know that you are Abraham’s seed; but you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you.
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do that which you have seen with your father [the devil – the spirit in you moving you].

1 Corinthians 14
21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak [this word that isn’t understood] unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the LORD.
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not [by not understanding, showing them as unbelievers]: but prophesying serves not for them that believe not, but for them which believe [because it must be believed to be the word of God, or it will seem like madness to the unbeliever].
23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues [words they can’t explain], and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that you are mad?
24 But if all prophesy [speak the word of God, with understanding], and there come in one that believes not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all [and found in need of God, and is in the presence of God]:
25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth [ontos].
26 How is it then, brethren? when you come together, every one of you has a psalm, has a doctrine, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying [educating – correcting error and giving understanding].
27 If any man speaks in an unknown tongue [words he doesn’t understand], let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one [for him] interpret.
28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

Verse 21 above is quoted from Isaiah 28:11 & 12, where we’re told of the LORD teaching those who don’t understand what He is saying, because their minds are in agreement with hell and they have made a covenant with death. He says this is the rest and refreshing, but they would not hear.

Isaiah 28
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts [those who now draw from the Ancient of days].
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the LORD God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

Job 33
23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness:
24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:
26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favorable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
27 He looks upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
29 Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

Peter uses the word (ontos) to tell us it is the “escape” from those who live in error, who are the false prophets and false teachers among us denying the LORD, because of whose errors, evil is spoken of the truth.

2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily [secretly – from their own imaginations] shall bring in damnable [apoleia] heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them [with a price – time – Tim], and bring upon themselves swift destruction [apoleia].
2 And many shall follow their pernicious [apoleia] ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned [deceptive] words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation [apoleia] slumbers not.
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped [ontos] from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog [those who ignorantly and continuously bark in the darkness] is turned to his own vomit [covering all tables] again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire [their own feet have agitated].

The only times Jeremiah speaks of purchasing a field with silver is in Jeremiah 32:9, and the only time he speaks of the potter in the house of the LORD (where His voice is heard) is Jeremiah 18:2. This latter parenthetic aspect (listening to the ONE voice of God or to misleaders) is keeping or breaking the covenant, which is the point in both Zechariah 11 and Matthew 27. Breaking it results in scattering (breaking the band of) God’s people into many feckless sects under many deceivers.

Jeremiah 18
1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.
3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in mine hand, O house of Israel.
7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;
8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

Jeremiah 32
5 And he [the king of confusion] shall [mislead] lead Zedekiah to Babylon [turn the righteousness of Jehovah into confusion], and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the LORD: though you fight with the Chaldeans [those whose words mislead, manipulate, and control those who listen to them], you shall not prosper.
6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
7 Behold, Hanameel [God is gracious] the son of Shallum [retribution] your uncle shall come unto you saying, Buy you my field that is in Anathoth [among those who hear the voice of God]: for the right of redemption [to ramson] is yours to buy it.
8 So Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray you, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin [where my power, right hand, is revealed]: for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle’s son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
10 And I subscribed [kathab] the evidence [cepher – book], and sealed it [chatham – finished it], and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances.
11 So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed [chatham – finished] according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
12 And I gave the evidence [cepher – the book of God gave full proof to my ministry] of the purchase unto Baruch [blessed] the son of Neriah [by the light {understanding} of Jehovah], the son of Maaseiah [the refuge, sanctuary, of Jehovah], in the sight of Hanameel [now seen as the favor, grace, of God] mine uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed [kathab] the book [cepher] of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.

Jeremiah 31
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write [kathab – subscribe] it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Job 19
23 Oh that my words were now written [kathab – subscribed]! oh that they were printed in a book [cepher]!
24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the Rock forever!
25 For I know that my redeemer [the ransom] lives, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my [new] flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

Isaiah 29
9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry you out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
10 For the LORD has poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers has he covered.
11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book [cepher] that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12 And the book [cepher] is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he saith, I am not learned.
13 Wherefore the LORD said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous [eye opening] work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? and who knows us?
16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

Revelation 10

Psalms 40
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

The word rendered “poor”, above in Zechariah 11:7, is the Hebrew word ‘aniy, meaning “depressed, in mind or circumstances,” from words meaning meek, humble, and lowly. Several notable and defining uses come in 2 Samuel 22:28, Job 34:28, 36:6 & 15, Isaiah 54:11 & 66:2, Jeremiah 22:16, and Zechariah 9:9. “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:5 thru 8

2 Samuel 22
26 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful, and with the upright man you will show yourself upright.
27 With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the froward you will show yourself unsavory.
28 And the afflicted [‘aniy – humble and meek] people you will save: but your eyes are upon the haughty, that you mayest bring them down.
29 For you are my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
30 For by you I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
33 God is my strength and power: and he makes my way perfect.
34 He makes my feet like hinds’ feet: and sets me upon my high places.
35 He teaches my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and shows mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.

Zechariah 11 begins with telling of the end of the king line, their betraying of the LORD, and the price paid to restore it (which enthrones the king of the kingdom now come).

Zechariah 11
1 Open your doors, O Lebanon [purity in high places – with the kings], that the fire may devour your cedars [the upright].
2 Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty [kings] are spoiled: howl, O you oaks of Bashan [fruitfulness]; for the forest of the vintage [batsowr’ – only used here, meaning inaccessibility] is come down.
3 There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds [the kings, who, as David, are the chief shepherds]; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan [their ways have carried all into death] is spoiled.
4 Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter [who are all dead];
5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds [those they’ve appointed over them as their kings] pity them not.
6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbor’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty [no’am – seeking the word, advice, of the LORD – see its other five uses below], and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dies, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
10 And I took my staff, even Beauty [no’am], and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
12 And I said unto them, If you think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was priced at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 And the LORD said unto me, Take unto you yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that stands still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17 Woe to the idol shepherd [who doesn’t defend the flock] that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm [work] shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened [his understanding shall be turned into ignorance].

Psalms 27
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty [no’am] of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Psalms 90
8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your countenance.
9 For all our days are passed away in your wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11 Who knows the power of your anger? even according to your fear, so is your wrath.
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
13 Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent you concerning your servants.
14 O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Proverbs 3
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
12 For whom the LORD loveth he corrects; even as a father the son in whom he delights.
13 Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things you can desire are not to be compared unto her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness [no’am], and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retains her.
19 The LORD by wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding has he established the heavens.

Proverbs 15
20 A wise son makes a glad father: but a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.
22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.
23 A man has joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
25 The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.
26 The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant [no’am] words.
27 He that is greedy of gain troubles his own house; but he that hates gifts shall live.
28 The heart of the righteous studies to answer: but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.
29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
30 The light [understanding] of the eyes rejoices the heart: and a good report makes the bones fat.

Proverbs 16
22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that has it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
23 The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, and adds learning to his lips.
24 Pleasant [no’am] words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
25 There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
26 He that labors labors for himself; for his mouth craves it of him.
27 An ungodly man digs up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
28 A froward man [who twists and perverts truth] sows strife: and a whisperer separates chief friends [Judah and Israel].

This no’am, beauty in which God delights, ended with “cutting asunder” the good shepherds. The word it (no’am, meaning “agreeableness [agreement with God], i.e. delight, suitableness, splendor or grace”) is from is the eight times used Hebrew word na’em, also meaning “to be agreeable [with God] (literally or figuratively).”

It (na’em) first appears in Genesis 49:15, as Jacob is telling his children what shall befall them in these last days. It comes in speaking of Issachar, His name meaning “he will bring a reward,” with whom returns beauty and band, the two burdens he carries, as God’s servants under tribute. Below is the passage as we have often discussed it, with the addition [[ ]] highlighting deeper context and the appearance of the word na’em.

Genesis 49
8 Judah [the leaders God choses], you are he whom your brethren shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies; your father’s children shall bow down before you.
9 Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet [speaking of the Davidic king line], until Shiloh come [meaning peace and tranquility – the one {Joseph’s seed – the one separated} from who it will again flow – see Ezekiel 21:27 and the overturning]; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine [this speaking of the lowly {Zechariah 9:9}, God’s elect remnant, outside the established sects, bound until Shiloh comes, when they are loosed]; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
13 Zebulun [the lowly raised up at the LORD’s coming] shall dwell at the haven of the sea [safe from the masses]; and he shall be for a haven of ships [and saving any who come to the LORD through them]; and his border shall be unto Zidon [they will be the end of those who’ve hunted souls].
14 Issachar [through him will come the reward – the fruitful bough] is a strong ass [the LORD’s people, now become His goodly horse in the battle – Zechariah 10:3] couching down between two burdens [[Beauty and Bands]]:
15 And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant [[na’em – the agreement with the Father, in which He delights]]; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
16 Dan [the judge – speaking of strength returned and the righteous judgment of the world begins] shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way [as a serpent raised as a standard on a pole {nec}], an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels [this is the heel bruised in the judgment, meaning the serpents among the people, are rendered without effect], so that his rider shall fall backward [so the body of Christ will return to the place from which she fell – see, in Isaiah 28:13, what causes them to fall backward].
18 (I have waited for your salvation, O LORD.)
19 Gad [the LORD’s army, overcome until their return to Him], a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
20 Out of Asher [happy] his bread shall be fat [happiness returns when the word of God prospers], and he shall yield royal dainties [ma’adan – speaking of the royal line again raised up – referring us to its use in Proverbs 29:17, telling us this is when rest returns, when we, by correction, give the Father “delight”].
21 Naphtali [by this wrestling – unknowingly with the LORD] is a hind let loose: he gives goodly words [our tongue {the word of God} is loosed and we teach it as received directly from Him].
22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well [a tree of life by these waters of God]; whose branches run over the wall [the wall of lies men have created and teach]:
23 The archers [ba’al – the gods of this world whose teaching has blinded all form seeing the Father, in the son, the seed of the women who brings forth the man child – see Revelation 12:17] have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
25 Even by the God of your father, who shall help you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies under [the deep meaning that lies below the surface], blessings of the breasts, and of the womb [seed, the son]:
26 The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors [all those who have come before us, and were only blessed with part of what is perfected in our return to the LORD] unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

The word (na’em) later appears several times in the Psalms, Proverbs, and Song of Solomon, before its final appearance in Ezekiel 32:19. In Ezekiel, it’s used by the LORD in asking the oppressors who now hold us captive in hell, who are speaking against the LORD, “whom do you pass in beauty [na’em].”There we’re told of their end, in hell in the flesh, from where they will never be saved, because they refuse to agree with the message of salvation God sends with His messenger who He raised from the dead in hell. (That is the love of the Father, to send His son into hell, to rescue any and all who hear him.)

Friends, before going on we must give thanks to the Father; HalleluYah, HalleluYah, HalleluYah! He has led us into understanding by the revelation of Himself among us. He has come to rescue us from human evil (beasts: misleaders, the dead without His Spirit) now destroying humanity.

Ezekiel 32
2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt [the great house, family, of the oppressors], and say unto him, You are like a young lion of the nations, and you are as a whale in the seas [your ever open mouths, swallowing the people of the world and carrying them into the belly of hell]: and you came forth with your rivers [that carried your words to the sea], and troubled the waters with your feet [by your ways you clouded the waters, so your evil intention in it wasn’t seen], and fouled their rivers [you corrupted all discourse with your lies].
3 Thus says the LORD God; I will therefore spread out my net over you with a company of many people; and they shall bring you up in my net [the snare upon all the earth, from which you will not escape].
4 Then will I leave you upon the land [in plain sight where all can see your evil ways], I will cast you forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon you, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with you.
5 And I will lay your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.
6 I will also water with your blood the land wherein you swim, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of you.
7 And when I shall put you out, I will cover the heaven [the place where understanding is], and make the stars thereof dark [the people at large have become ignorant]; I will cover the sun with a cloud [the church will not understand because the elements of understanding have been removed from the earth], and the moon shall not give her light [neither shall there be any understanding in the civil governments].
8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over you, and set darkness [ignorance] upon your land, says the LORD God [as it is this day].
9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known [as it is this day].
10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.
11 For thus says the LORD God; The sword of the king of Babylon [the sword of confusion now turned to mass delusion] shall come upon you.
12 By the swords [the word of God from my mouth] of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them [the waters] any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
14 Then will I make their waters deep [as now, when the deep is uncovered and understanding has returned], and cause their rivers to run like oil [of this anointing], says the LORD God.
15 When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.
16 This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, says the LORD God.
17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
18 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt [of the oppressors], and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.
19 Whom do you pass in beauty [na’em – who are those who are in agreement with your evil misleading]? go down, and be you laid with the uncircumcised [in the grave, in hell, in the flesh].
20 They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword [the word of God from my mouth]: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.
21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell [Sheol – this habitation of the dead] with them that help [‘azar – “Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helps {‘azar} shall fall, and he that is helped {‘azar} shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.”] him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised [in the flesh in hell], slain by the sword.
22 Asshur [the communists] is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:
23 Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
24 There is Elam [eternity] and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
25 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.
26 There is Meshech [those the LORD has drawn out into open sight], Tubal [who he has brought to this time and place], and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised [the dead in the flesh, on the earth, in hell], slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.
27 And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
28 Yea, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shall lie with them that are slain with the sword.
29 There is Edom [the enemies mixed among us], her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
30 There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians [those who hunt souls], which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
31 Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, says the LORD God.
32 For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the LORD God.

Proverbs 2
6 For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
7 He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserves the way of his saints.
9 Then shall you understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto your soul;
11 Discretion shall preserve you, understanding shall keep you:
12 To deliver you from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaks froward things;
13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness [the twisting and perverting of truth] of the wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
16 To deliver you from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flatters with her words;
17 Which forsake the guide of her youth, and forget the covenant of her God.

When Zechariah 11:10 speaks of the LORD breaking His covenant with His people, it is referring to what is spoken above, of the strange woman (the fallen church), who has forsaken the guide of her youth. These strangers (the estranged woman) are those who left the LORD’s advice and made a covenant with death, and are in agreement with hell, who refuse to hear His voice.

The “Bands” then spoken of, in Zechariah 11, from the Hebrew word chebel, tell of this beauty, understanding that comes from ONE Voice, God’s voice with which we agree, that binds (bands) God’s people together, in ONE BODY, under one king who the LORD chooses.

Zechariah 2
1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line [chebel – the assessment that will rebind what is broken] in his hand.
2 Then said I, Whither go you? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
5 For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north [the place of darkness – ignorance], saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
7 Deliver yourself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon [of confusion and ignorance].
8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory has he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.
9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and you shall know that the LORD of hosts [the commander of the army of heaven] has sent me [as a soldier in His name].
10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you, says the LORD.

Deuteronomy 32
1 Give ear, O you heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe you greatness unto our God.
4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
6 Do you thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he your father that has bought you? has he not made you, and established you?
7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.
8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
9 For the LORD’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot [chebel – is His ONE BODY he will rebind] of his inheritance.
10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

Job 34
21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his goings.
22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
25 Therefore he knows their works, and he overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
26 He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted [‘aniy – the lowly].
29 When he gives quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hides his face [presence], who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
31 Surely it is meet [appropriate] to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
32 That which I see not teach you me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

Job 36
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despises not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
6 He preserves not the life of the wicked: but gives right to the poor [‘aniy – humble].
7 He withdraws not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he does establish them forever, and they are exalted.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be held in cords [chebel] of affliction [‘oniy];
9 Then he shows them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
10 He opens also their ear to discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity.
11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
13 But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he binds them.
14 They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
15 He delivers the poor [‘aniy] in his affliction [‘oniy], and opens their ears in oppression.

Isaiah 54
11 O you afflicted [‘aniy], tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with fair colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.
12 And I will make your windows of agates, and your gates of carbuncles, and all your borders of pleasant stones.
13 And all your children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of your children.
14 In righteousness shall you be established: you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near you.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn [as you have been told in Matthew 12:42 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. 42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.]. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 66
1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things has mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor [‘aniy] and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Jeremiah 22
13 Woe unto him that builds his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that uses his neighbor’s service without wages, and gives him not for his work;
14 That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cuts him out windows; and it is cieled [cover] with cedar [with the appearance of the upright], and painted [mashach – their {false} anointing – crowning] with vermilion [shashar – is to draw attention {away from God} to the ways of the enemy].
15 Shall you reign, because you close [cover] yourself in cedar? did not your father eat and drink [of the living waters that flow God’s ways of peace and security], and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?
16 He judged the cause of the poor [‘aniy] and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know [da’ath] me? saith the LORD.
17 But your eyes and your heart are not but for your covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
18 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah LORD! or, Ah his glory!
