I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it him.

I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it him.

The above is the LORD speaking of His overturning the iniquity of those sitting in power, in His place, and, in overturning it, removing them.

The word rendered “overturn,” only used here, is the Hebrew word ‘avvah, meaning to overthrow. It is used to refer us to one of its like derivatives, ‘avown (‘avon), meaning “from 5753 [‘avah]; perversity, i.e. (moral) evil:–fault, iniquity, mischeif, punishment (of iniquity), sin.”

The latter word (‘avon), which appears four times in the chapter (Ezekiel 21), as the LORD tells of it as the reason He overturns (in the title, verse 27) these kings. He, while speaking of the one (shepherd and king) “whose right it is,” uses the word (‘avon) saying He will call us to “remember” these men’s “iniquity” and its end (qets) comes with His overturning them (the wicked in power).

We well know the word qets from it used in Ezekiel 7, there speaking of it (the end) coming as the “mourning,” from the three times used Hebrew word tsphiyrah, “a crown (as encircling the head); also a turn of affairs (i.e. mishap):–diadem, morning.” It tells of the crowning (of the king) as the new day when iniquity ends.

We also know the word (tsphiyrah) only appears twice in Ezekiel 7, and one other time, in Isaiah 28:5, telling of the LORD, in this day, as a crown (“diadem”) of the residue (sh’ar – remnant) of His people. The day spoken of by Isaiah is when the crown is removed from the “drunkard of Ephraim” leading God’s people in this generation, whose power has swelled them with pride, and “all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.”

We know from Daniel’s use of the word qets, in Daniel 12:9 & 12, that it’s the time when the sealed book (the word of God) is opened, and when God’s people stand in the resurrection.

Daniel 12
1 And at that time shall Michael [who is like, in the likeness of, God] stand up, the great prince which stand for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble [tsarah – tribulation], such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered [malat – escape], every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
4 But you, O Daniel [the judgment of God], shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end [qets]: many shall run to and fro [diligently seeking the LORD], and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river [as the flesh of one divided in two], and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end [qets] of these wonders [of these things wondered at and not known]?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by him that lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half [chetsiy – the right dividing of the time between]; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not [as none have until now, as God said it would be and it has been]: then said I, O my LORD, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end [qets].
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set-up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days [years, the “time”, Abram’s deep sleep in smoking furnace beginning with Isaac’s birth in 1896 BC].
12 Blessed is he that waits [for the LORD to open], and come to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days [this plus and the “time” are the “times” {1290 + 1335 = 2625}; the “time” 1290, plus the “times” 2625 = 3915 years until the end of the deep sleep and the sealed book. As we know, this is the number of years between Isaac’s birth and the LORD revealing this here in 2019].
13 But go you your way till the end [qets] be: for you shall rest, and stand in your lot at the end [qets] of the days [of these years].

Ezekiel 21
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and drop your word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I am against you, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.
4 Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
5 That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.
6 Sigh therefore, you son of man, with the breaking of your loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.
7 And it shall be, when they say unto you, Wherefore sigh you? that you shall answer, For the tidings; because it comes: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it comes, and shall be brought to pass, says the LORD God.
8 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:
10 It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemn the rod of my son, as every tree.
11 And he has given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
12 Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon your thigh.
13 Because it is a trial [bachan], and what if the sword [this word of God, from His mouth] contemn even the rod [shebet – the scepter to rule]? it shall be no more [speaking of the king line ended], says the LORD God.
14 You therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite your hands together. and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which enters into their privy chambers.
15 I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.
16 Go you one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever your face is set.
17 I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.
18 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
19 Also, you son of man, appoint you two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose you a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.
20 Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath [the great men of the world] of the Ammonites [who separate God’s people and weaken them], and to Judah in Jerusalem the defensed.
21 For the king of Babylon [the confusion that rules the world, wrought by the word of wicked men in power] stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.
22 At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.
23 And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance [zakar] the iniquity [‘avon], that they may be taken.
24 Therefore thus says the LORD God; Because you have made your iniquity [‘avon] to be remembered [zakar], in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that you are come to remembrance [zakar], you shall be taken with the hand.
25 And you, profane wicked prince of Israel [who is like Reuben, sitting in God’s place], whose day is come, when iniquity [‘avon]shall have an end [qets],
26 Thus says the LORD God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
28 And you, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the LORD God concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say you, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:
29 Whiles they see vanity unto you, whiles they divine a lie unto you, to bring you upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end [qets].
30 Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge you in the place where you were created, in the land of your nativity.
31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon you, I will blow against you in the fire of my wrath, and deliver you into the hand of brutish men, and skillful to destroy.
32 You shall be for fuel to the fire; your blood shall be in the midst of the land; you shall be no more remembered [zakar]: for I the LORD have spoken it.

Hebrews 2
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip [again taking us into ignorance].
2 For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast [standing forever, not tasting death], and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the LORD, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
5 For unto the angels has he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit him?
7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor, and did set him over the works of your hands:
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death [entering our dead flesh, to raise us to life with His rising in us], crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man [so ignorance never comes again].
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11 For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of ONE [BODY]: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 Saying, I will declare your name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto you.
13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me.

Psalms 8
1 O LORD, our LORD, how excellent is your name in all the earth! who have set your glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings have you ordained strength because of your enemies, that you might still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;
4 What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?
5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD our LORD, how excellent is your name in all the earth!

Isaiah 28
1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat [shemem – which is the LORD’s anointing when they are brought down] valleys of them that are overcome with wine [and are thereby unaware of it coming]!
2 Behold, the LORD has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing [see verse 21 below, which brings the rest], shall cast down [nuwach – bring rest] to the earth with the hand.
3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat [shemem – when their mocking {blashemy} proclaims the King, when they are brought down by their own ignorance] valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looks upon it sees, while it is yet in his hand he eats it up.
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem [tsphiyrah – a crown] of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate [see Psalms 118:19 & 20 below].
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine [shmuw’ah – the report, teaching, the rumor of Ezekiel 7:26 below]? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts [who now draw from the Ancient of days: wisdom].
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak [truth they don’t understand] to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest [mnuwchah – resting place, in heaven, in the LORD’s presence, in full understanding] wherewith you may cause the weary to rest [nuwach]; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men [mockers and blasphemers vilifying this word and work of God: the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost who the world doesn’t know – YET], that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus says the LORD GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report [shmuw’ah – the sound doctrine, teaching, the rumor of Ezekiel 7:26 below].
20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering [the lies and falsehoods under which they hide is] narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim [2 Samuel 5:20 – as water from His throne, breaking forth upon His enemies], he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon [Joshua 10:10 & 11 – His word reserved {frozen} in heaven, sent as great hailstones upon the wicked], that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the LORD GOD of hosts a consumption [kalah – a full end, as in Daniel 9:27], even determined upon the whole earth.
23 Give you ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Ezekiel 7
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Also, you son of man, thus says the LORD GOD unto the land of Israel; An end [qets], the end [qets] is come upon the four corners of the land.
3 Now is the end [qets] come upon you, and I will send mine anger upon you, and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all your abominations.
4 And mine eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense your ways upon you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
5 Thus says the LORD GOD; An evil, an only evil [none like it, as in Daniel 12:1], behold, is come. [Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble {tsarah – tribulation}, but he shall be saved out of it. 8 For it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: 9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.]
6 An end [qets] is come, the end [qets] is come: it watches [quwts – awakens {from the deep sleep}] for you; behold, it is come.
7 The morning [tsphiyrah – the crown, the crowning of the LORD’s chosen, the man of God, as was David] is come unto you, O you that dwells in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon you, and accomplish mine anger upon you: and I will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense you for all your abominations.
9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense you according to your ways and your abominations that are in the midst of you; and you shall know that I am the LORD that smites.
10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning [tsphiyrah – the crowning] is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride [of the wicked] has budded [brought forth the end].
11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
12 The time is come, the day draws [naga’ – when the LORD joins with His people, in ONE BODY] near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves [the sign of the end reached] of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling-block of their iniquity.
20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
25 Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor [shmuw’ah – teaching sound doctrine and reporting truth] shall be upon rumor [shmuw’ah – teaching and reporting, precept and line, that isn’t believed, and the man of God reporting it is still unknown – because of the lies and misleading of those who’ve blinded the world by drunkenness]; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

When Ezekiel 7:16 speaks of those who “escape” (paliyt, meaning refuge, as the place of the delivered), as signs of the end reached (doves on a mountain raised), it is referring us to the deliverer who brings us there by “remembrance.”

Ezekiel 6
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
3 And say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD God; Thus says the LORD God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5 And I will lay the dead carcasses [their living flesh dead without God’s Spirit] of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
6 In all your dwelling-places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works [and ways] may be abolished.
7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am the LORD.
8 Yet will I leave a remnant [My elect], that you may have some that shall escape [paliyt] the sword among the nations, when you shall be scattered through the countries.
9 And they that escape [paliyt] of you shall remember [zakar] me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10 And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them [letting their own ways have their full course: their abominations they put in My place bring the inevitable desolation and insanity].

The above speaks of the elect barely escaping, and if they narrowly escape, where then will the incorrigible and ungodly appear (answer: remaining in death and hell, by their own choice)?

1 Peter 4
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

1 Peter 1
3 According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our LORD Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

The “entrance” (the eisodos) is into the place of escape, which comes by repentance after leaving the old and corrupt (dead body) behind (the exodos).

Friends, in the following, the LORD, unknown as His Holy Spirit (the Paraclete), tells us these things. He openly says who the comforter (Paraclete) is, in who He said He would come to lead us into remembrance: preaching and teaching the way into (entering) the place of deliverance and escape.

Hebrews 2
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the LORD, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Philippians 3
17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as you have us for an ensample.
18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 For our conversation is in heaven [full understanding, in the firmament, whereby this exposition the word of God {above} is separated from the word of corrupt men {below}]; from whence also we look for the Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Hebrews 12
25 See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven [the place of full understanding, that can and does only come from God]:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

The “remembrance” the LORD speaks of, is when God’s people bring Him again to mind and realize (publicly confess and repent from) their iniquity.

(So the mockers and murmurers will ask what I want and by whose authority do I command it? The answer is – I want nothing for myself except the cross that is my reward (meaning, the public mocking and demonization that will come once I am lifted up as Moses lifted the serpent). I Am the king the LORD has chosen, His defender of the faith. I command His people, in the name of Jesus, Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in my flesh, to publicly repent of their abominations, the blinding creations of men they put in the Father’s place, come out (exodos) of ALL the dead churches, and enter (eisodos) His kingdom, His ONE BODY, following me as I follow Him.)

Luke 22
52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be you come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
53 When I was daily with you in the temple, you stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness [when the ignorance of God you’ve wrought covers all the world]
54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter [the rock {the fallen church} in whom God’s people put their trust, who says they know Him, but, when pressed by His cross, deny Him] followed afar off.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, You are also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.
60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what you sayest. And immediately, while he yet spoke, the cock crew.
61 And the LORD turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the LORD, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow [the light, understanding, that brings the day of the cross], you shall deny me thrice.
62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.
64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote you?
65 And many other things blasphemously spoke they against him.
66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
67 Are you the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, you will not believe:
68 And if I also ask you, you will not answer me, nor let me go.
69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
70 Then said they all, Are you then the Son of God? And he said unto them, You say that I AM.
71 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

The word rendered “remembrance,” in verse 61 above, (describing when Peter realizes, by the LORD looking at him, his iniquity: not taking {following Him as He followed the Father’s will} his cross with the LORD), is hupomimnesko, “from 5259 and 3403; to remind quietly, i.e. suggest to the (middle voice, one’s own) memory.”

Remember, He told us, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

John 14
20 At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
21 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas [Judah, the new crop of leaders, the elect remant] says unto him, not Iscariot [not the misleaders who’ve betrayed Him], LORD, how is it that you will manifest yourself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him [in the flesh, the mystery of Godliness, God is manifested in the flesh], and make our abode with him [in the flesh of those receiving Him at His coming].
24 He that loveth me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter [the Paraclete, the LORD in the flesh unknown], which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance [hupomimnesko], whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 You have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, you might believe.
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me.
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

The word hupomimnesko tells of being under (hupo) the commandment (mimos – to mimic, imitate, or follow) to catch fire (nasaq), “For our God is a consuming fire.”

This last Hebrew word (nasaq) refers us to one of its three uses, in Ezekiel 39:9, there telling of this day when the LORD is known, and the weapons of the enemies among us are “burned” by His fire in us.

Ezekiel 39
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and IT IS DONE, says the LORD God; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn [nasaq] the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the hand staves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, says the LORD God.

I Am the one the Father charged, first to remember, and with it bring His people to remembrance.

2 Timothy 2
1 You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit you to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
3 You, therefore, endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strives for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strives lawfully.
6 The husbandman that labors must be the first partaker [rememberer] of the fruits.
7 Consider what I say, and the LORD give you understanding in all things.
8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evildoer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes [to bring them to remembrance], that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer [taking His cross and following Him], we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance [hupomimnesko], charging them before the LORD that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Revelation 21
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, IT IS DONE. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Psalms 42
1 As the hart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is your God?
4 When I remember [zakar] these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holy-day.
5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? hope you in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance [paniym – His presence in His ONE BODY].
6 O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember you from the land of Jordan [when the words of men carried all into death], and of the Hermonites [in their sanctuaries], from the hill Mizar [and greatly diminished your people].
7 Deep [understanding] calls unto deep at the noise [qowl – God’s voice] of your waterspouts: all your waves and your billows are gone over me.
8 Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the day time [when light, understanding, again covers the earth], and in the night [among the ignorant who are covered in darkness] his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life [found in His light: His understanding].
9 I will say unto God my Rock, Why have you forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
10 As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is your God?
11 Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? hope you in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance [paniym – in His presence in His ONE BODY], and my God.

And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

The above is the LORD, in Isaiah 1:26, speaking to His people, the USA, about their fallen condition: unfaithful, without righteousness, when judges lacked the courage and fortitude necessary to establish them. He (the LORD) earlier, in verses 21 & 22, (rhetorically) asks how this state occurred, when judgment and righteousness were replaced by murderers (of the fatherless, after silencing those refusing to take on these women without husbands).

The world will say, of this word of God speaking His judgments, these are primitive ideas and irrelevant to the complexity of the day. He says, what is primitive (primeval) is the animal state man has once again degenerated into by following men who, promising them liberty, led into the captivity of confusion, delusion, and insanity (disordering the rational mind God gave us).

As Alexander Hamilton says, in Federalist #1, human history shows the liberties of republics are most often overturned by community agitators claiming some nonexistent right is being withheld by those in power rightly judging. These disrupters of the peace begin as demagogues and, once in power, end as tyrants.

These same men, the cultivators (emphasis on “cult”) of mass insanity, the creators of those unable to distinguish between delusion and reality, will, as is their way, lie and demonize (falsely accuse) this truth now manifested before the eyes of all the world, which they deny and reverse define (gaslighting the world).

A few simple test questions to determine the sane and the insane: How many genders are there? And, Is one human taking the life of another innocent human murder, manslaughter, or a right?

Without me giving the obvious answers, all the sane know them, and those who don’t need psychiatric help (the truth is most psychiatrists, lacking the fortitude needed for good judgment, are themselves, by the classic definition, insane).

The definition of insanity, in law, says the condition: the severely disordered mind (unable to distinguish between reality and delusion), lacking the ability to understand, releases the person (the insane) from legal or civil responsibility. On the other hand, those who know the answers to the questions posed above and are sane, and knowing (understanding), for some other underlying self-interest, without care for the impact on others and society (classic sociopaths) reject them, are criminally and civilly responsible.

In Biblical law, this latter group, knowing the law and rejecting it, the antisocial who are hostile and harmful to normal society, are those who, by their own incorrigible (evil) choices: habitual disturbers of the peace, must be separated from the law-abiding and the peaceful. This is the principle of eternal separation, by choice, into hell. We can help the ignorant and heal the insane, bringing light into their darkened minds, giving understanding to what the world, under the control of wicked men, has confused and deluded.

John 3
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believes on him [believes that God is speaking salvation, understanding through him, the light that is the life of the world] is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name [Jesus – Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh] of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation [krisis – the decision that self-condemns], that light [understanding] is come into the world, and men loved darkness [the ignorance that brings confusion, delusion, and insanity] rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that does evil hates the light [understand that is the life of the world], neither comes to the light [understanding], lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that does truth comes to the light [understanding], that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Isaiah 1
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom [flame], and we should have been like unto Gomorrah [ruin].
10 Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom [rulers who inflame]; give ear unto the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah [who are the ruin].
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs [when I desire judgment, mercy, and the knowledge of God], or of he-goats [as devils misleading].
12 When you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot bear them; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless [that they are innocent, not worthy of death], plead for the widow [plead with the women who are without husbands].
18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken [His word is understanding, light, life, to those who receive it, and a sword to those who reject] it.
21 How is the faithful city become a harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers [in the pattern of Herod and Pharaoh, killing millions of innocent human children].
22 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water:
23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loves gifts, and follows after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them.
24 Therefore says the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
25 And I will turn my hand upon you, and purely purge away your dross [the pollution of men’s misleading ideas], and take away all your tin:
26 And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks [the men they call upright] which you have desired, and you shall be confounded for the gardens [the places you chosen as your protection] that you have chosen.
30 For you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water [without this word of God].
31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

The word “trouble,” in verse 14 above, is the twice used word torach, meaning “a burden,” which refers us to the one other time it appears, in Deuteronomy 1:12, rendered “cumbrance.” It is from the once used (Job 37:11) word tarach, “a primitive root; [meaning] to overburden:–weary.”

In the use of these words, we understand they are a burden (water and light) delivered from the cloud by the one filled with understanding of the word of God, who empties himself in the name of the LORD.

In Isaiah 1 above, in the context of these words, the LORD is speaking of His ways not being heard in the assemblies, because the “princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves.” These are those whose positions were created to be where this “judgment” would be further expanded (in the firmament) and propagated, producing good after its own kind.

Before further explanation, I must reiterate the root cause of the current degeneration and perversions: the reversal of good and evil. It lies in popular prejudices: cultural opinions that contradicted historically proven (repeated experiences proving then true) standards of good and evil, taught when God’s people became silent of these truths.

In this most modern version, they (the darkness) convinced good people to stop “forcing” (meaning teaching as truth) their standard of morality on society. Surrendering to these demands, falling for the lie there is such a thing as a society without a moral standard, is one of the greatest sins of God’s people. What resulted (from this sin) is historically recorded as when “the earth became without form, and void,” when darkness rushed in (to the void) and covered all deep understanding.

As we know, when the above quote is recorded in Genesis 1:2, the words used are hayah (became), tohuw (without form), and bohuw (void), the latter two only appearing two other times together. The first of these is in Isaiah 34:11, where they are translated as “confusion” and “emptiness,” respectively speaking of the line used to lay the foundation, and the stones built (the wall of lies upon lies) upon it. The other is in Jeremiah 4:23, where they are rendered identical to Genesis 1:2, but here (the LORD in) Jeremiah precedes the description with (in verse 22) saying, “For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.”

Here is how (the LORD in) Jeremiah 4 describes the pattern now proven again in our time, which is the LORD speaking it for our enlightenment. The chapter begins with His call to return from these abominations put in His place; to Him, who is the standard now raised, as Moses did the serpent in the wilderness. This appearance is what Genesis 1 records as the Spirit moving upon the waters (the word still present in the darkness), the LORD God working unknown, to bring comprehension to the ignorant, understand which is the light created.

Jeremiah 4
4 If you will return, O Israel, says the LORD, return unto me: and if you will put away your abominations out of my sight, then shall you not remove.
2 And you shall swear, The LORD lives, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.
3 For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns [misleaders].
4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart [remove your self-created ideas and ways, the corrupt foundational ideas upon which you base all your thoughts and actions], you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem [the current corrupt crop of leaders, and those they’ve misled]: lest my fury comes forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
5 Declare you in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow you the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves [into ONE BODY], and let us go into the defensed cities.
6 Set up the standard [nec – the “pole” {Numbers 21:8 & 9} upon which Moses lifted the brazen serpent, as the son of man must be lifted – per John 3:14] toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north [from the darkness], and a great destruction.
7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles [those who don’t know God] is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make your land desolate [by these abominations put in God’s place]; and your cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
8 For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.
9 And it shall come to pass at that day, says the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.
10 Then said I, Ah, LORD God! surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have peace; whereas the sword reaches unto the soul.
11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,
12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I [as the judge of the earth] give sentence against them.
13 Behold, he shall come up as clouds [full of this word of God and the ancient understanding that left the earth], and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind [from where His Almighty Spirit is heard against all opposing Him]: his horses [His strengthened people in whom He appears – see Zechariah 10:1 thru 3] are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.
14 O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you mayest be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts lodge within you?
15 For a voice declares from Dan [declaring God’s judgment], and publishes affliction from mount Ephraim [the high places of God’s people in this generation].
16 Make you mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country [the messengers watching for their opportunity to destroy God’s people, by replacing Him with their perverted opinions: the proven ways of destroying people and nations], and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.
17 As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she has been rebellious against me, says the LORD.
18 Your way and your doings have procured these things unto you; this is your wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reaches unto your heart [the corrupt foundations of the national mind].
19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart makes a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because you have heard, O my soul, the sound [qowl – the voice of God’s messenger – the archangel] of the trumpet [calling all to gather to the LORD, in His ONE BODY, His army], the alarm of war.
20 Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.
21 How long shall I see the standard [nec – the son of man lifted up], and hear the sound [qowl – voice] of the trumpet [this voice of the archangel calling all to gather]?
22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was [hayah – has become] without form [tohuw], and void [bohuw]; and the heavens [the places where understand should be], and they had no light [no understanding].
24 I beheld the mountains [the high place of the earth], and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no [Spiritually living] man, and all the birds of the heavens [all who soar by the strength of God’s understanding] were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27 For thus has the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black [without understanding]; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
29 The whole city shall flee for the noise [qowl – the voice of false prophets] of the horsemen and bowmen [ramah – the deceivers causing the delusion and insanity of our time]]; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.
30 And when you are spoiled, what will you do? Though you clothe yourself with crimson, though you deck you with ornaments of gold, though you rent your face with painting, in vain shall you make yourself fair; your lovers will despise you, they will seek your life.
31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child [the first light], the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewails herself, that spreads her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers [as it is this day – their evil solution is always the mass murder of the innocent].

John 3
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Are you a master of Israel, and know not these things?
11 Truly, truly, I say unto you, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

32 And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony.
33 He that has received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true.
34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the Son, and has given all things into his hand.
36 He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.

Zechariah 9
12 Turn you to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto you;
13 When I have bent Judah [My elect remnant] for me, filled the bow with Ephraim [My people at large], and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece [those among you still wallowing the mire they’ve stirred to cloud the waters], and made you as the sword of a mighty man [from whose mouth comes this word of God].
14 And the LORD shall be seen [lifted up] over them, and his arrow [His people at large] shall go forth as the lightning [with understand]: and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet [calling all to gather to Him in His army, His ONE BODY], and shall go with whirlwinds [His Almighty Spirit against those opposing Him and His word] of the south.
15 The LORD of hosts [who is a man of war] shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls [filled with the word of God, the blood of His sacrifice, pouring His life into the dead world], and as the corners of the altar.
16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign [a sign of the end of the old and corrupt heaven and earth] upon his land.
17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn [this feast of His goodness] shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine [changing the minds of] the maids.

Zechariah 10
1 Ask you of the LORD rain [his word from heaven] in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds [from where lightning, understanding, comes again to the earth], and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field [bringing new life on the earth].
2 For the idols [who men have put in God’s place] have spoken vanity, and the diviners [false prophets who’ve said they see what was coming, when they saw nothing but fictions] have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no [good] shepherd.
3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats [the misleaders who put themselves in the place of God’s good shepherd]: for the LORD of hosts [who is a man of war] has visited his flock the house of Judah, and has made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
4 Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every governor together.
5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire [the enemies have stirred to cloud the waters] of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded [the deceivers shall not reach the end they sought].
6 And I will strengthen [with understanding] the house of Judah [the elect remnant], and I will save the house of Joseph [Ephraim – God’s people at large], and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.
7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine [because their minds have been changed]: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

Job 37
1 At this also my heart trembled [the foundations of my mind were shaken as He shook the man created ideas from it], and is moved out of his place [and my mind was changed].
2 Hear attentively the noise of His voice, and the sound that goes out of His mouth.
3 He directs it [as He wills] under the whole heaven [from where He sends understanding], and his lightning [He gives understanding] unto the ends [ending the old and beginning the new] of the earth.
4 After it a voice roars: he thunders [the sound of the light] with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
5 God thunders marvelously [opening the eyes of the blind] with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot [without His epiphany] comprehend.
6 For he says to the snow [His word reserved, frozen, in heaven for this time of war – sent unto fire and the perdition of ungodly men], Be you on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
7 He seals up [chatam – makes an end of] the hand [the works] of every man; that all men may know His work.
8 Then the beasts [without His Spirit] go into dens, and remain in their places [and don’t put themselves in His place].
9 Out of the south comes the whirlwind [His Almighty Spirit]: and cold out of the north [in the darkness of men’s ignorance His word is frozen].
10 By the breath of God frost is given [by His voice the frozen things are sent again]: and the breadth of the waters is straitened [and the things men made crooked are straitened when He melts them].
11 Also by watering [by sending his word through many carriers] he wearies [tarach – unburdens] the thick cloud [‘ab – ending the darkness]: he scatters [puwtz – breaks in many pieces – as the LORD broke the loaves] his bright [‘owr – His illuminations] cloud [held in the cloud]:
12 And it is turned round [back to Him] about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commands them upon the face of the world in the earth.
13 He causes it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
14 Hearken unto this, O Job [my people who are hated by this evil world]: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
15 Do you know when God disposed them, and caused the light [understanding] of his cloud to shine [out of the east to west]? [As is the coming of the son of man, to as many as receive him gives he power to become the corrected children of God]
16 Do you know the balancing of [miphlas – the things poised there in] the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
17 How your garments are warm, when he quiets the earth by the south wind?
18 Have you with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass [by which He sees all these things]?
19 Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness [ignorance].
20 Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak [against Him], surely he shall be swallowed up.
21 And now men see not the bright light [the understanding] which is in the clouds: but the [south] wind passes, and cleanses them.
22 Fair weather comes out of the north [out from the darkness]: with God is terrible majesty.
23 Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
24 Men do therefore fear him: he respects not any that [think they] are wise of heart [in their own opinions].

Deuteronomy 1
8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
9 And I spoke unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:
10 The LORD your God has multiplied you, and, behold, you are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as you are, and bless you, as he has promised you!)
12 How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance [torach], and your burden, and your strife?
13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
14 And you answered me, and said, The thing which you have spoken is good for us to do.
15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.
17 You shall not respect persons in judgment; but you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which you should do.
19 And when we departed from Horeb [desolate desert – wilderness], we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which you saw by the way of the mountain [the high places] of the Amorites [the sayers – those who exalt their words above God’s], as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea [to holiness].
20 And I said unto you, You are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God does give unto us.
21 Behold, the LORD your God has set the land before you: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has said unto you; fear not, neither be discouraged.
22 And you came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.
23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:
24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol [clusters of fruit], and searched it out.
25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God does give us.
26 Notwithstanding you would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:
27 And you murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he has brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims [men you saw as giants] there.
29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.
30 The LORD your God which goes before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
31 And in the wilderness, where you have seen how that the LORD your God bare you, as a man does bear his son, in all the way that you went, until you came into this place.
32 Yet in this thing you did not believe the LORD your God,
33 Who went in the way before you [to prepare], to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to show you by what way you should go, and in a cloud by day.
34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and swore, saying,
35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I swore to give unto your fathers.
36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh [who saw I went before you to prepare the place for you]; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he has trodden upon, and to his children, because he has wholly followed the LORD.
37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes [when Moses refused to declare it was the LORD in Him speaking and working], saying, You also shall not go in thither.
38 But Joshua the son of Nun [Jesus, who declares He is Jehovah’s salvation in the flesh, who is the son of God and man in perpetuity], which stands before you, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 Moreover your little ones, which you said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

Romans 1
[Timothy], a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our LORD, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6 Among whom are you also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 To all that be in Rome [to who He has given strength through understanding], beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the LORD Jesus Christ.
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established;
12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14 I am debtor both to the Greeks [those who think they are civilized], and to the Barbarians [and the uncivilized]; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first [Judah, the elect remnant first], and also to the Greek [the civilized world at large].
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the un-corruptible God into an image [a creation] made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

John 1
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
18 No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

Psalms 75
1 Unto you, O God, do we give thanks, unto you do we give thanks: for that your name is near your wondrous works declare.
2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn [power to rule]:
5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck [against God].
6 For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.
8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he pours out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9 But I will declare forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

The voice of my beloved! behold, he comes leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.

The voice of my beloved! behold, he comes leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.

The above is Solomon writing of the Shulamite speaking of seeing the LORD’s coming, hearing his voice bringing down the high place (mountains) of the earth, making them small (into hills) and shutting their mouths. Shulamite means the peaceful and perfect: speaking of the LORD’s army, His people joined in His ONE BODY, who receive Him at His coming.

Song of Solomon 2
8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he comes leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.
9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart [upon the mountains and hills]: behold, he stands behind our wall, he looks forth at the windows, shows himself through the lattice.
10 My beloved spoke, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
11 For, lo, the winter is past [the time of darkness: ignorance], the rain is over [God’s word has come from heaven] and gone [halak – walked in its way];
12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds [who soar in heaven] is come, and the voice of the turtle [the dove – the sign of the end reached] is heard in our land [‘erets – in the earth];
13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs [Matthew 24:32 “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh:” and “the winter is past”], and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
14 O my dove [as Jonah, whose rising from the belly of hell is the sign of the end], that are in the clefts of the rock [the place where I have hidden and protected you], in the secret places of the stairs [into heaven, this place of full understanding], let me see your countenance, let me hear your voice; for sweet is your voice, and your countenance is comely.
15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes [the wise of this world], that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feeds among the lilies.
17 Until the daybreak [the new heaven and earth appear], and the shadows [of ignorance and death] flee away, turn, my beloved, and be you like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether [in the cleft of the Rock, where the LORD reigns as a man of war who is protector and deliverer].

Matthew 24
27 For as the lightning [understanding] comes out of the east [at the rising of a new day], and shineth [upon all] even unto the west [into the darkness that remains]; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcass [the dead {sleeping} body of Christ] is, there will the eagles [who have been strengthened by the LORD] be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened [when the corrupt {fully leavened by the false doctrines of men} church is realized to no longer have any understanding], and the moon [civil governments] shall not give her light [darkened by the same darkness], and the stars [God’s sleeping people at large] shall fall from heaven [fallen away {in apostasy} from the fixed positions of understanding], and the powers of the [the old and new] heavens shall be shaken [“that the wicked might be shaken out of it” – see Job 38:13 and Hebrews 12:27, saying, “signifying the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”]:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven [coming with the understanding held there]: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven [where the elements of understanding are held when removed from the earth] with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet [calling His army to gather in His ONE BODY], and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds [where they have been scattered], from one end [the old and corrupt] of heaven to the other [beginning they new].
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise you, when you shall see [understand, as now] all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Truly I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 [The old and corrupt] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only [as only I know the time is now because He that is in me told me].
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark [protecting us from the words of men that cover the earth in the insanity that destroys them],
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken [away with the flood], and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken [away with the flood], and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your LORD does come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up [by the flood – see Matthew 7:27, saying “the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”].
44 Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his LORD has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his LORD when he comes shall find so doing.
47 Truly I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Matthew 7
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing [as the goodman of the house], but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 You shall know them by their fruits [that come after the word {rain} from heaven has come]. Do men gather grapes of thorns [misleaders], or figs of thistles [deceivers]?
17 Even so every good [fig] tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.
21 Not every one that says unto me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me [be taken away by the flood of your own words in which you trust], you that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine [calling all to gather into ONE BODY], and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock [putting your trust in the one from who the word of God’s understanding flows]:
25 And the rain descended [from the heavens, old and new], and the floods came, and the winds blew [the spirit of God and the spirit of Satan resisting and opposing God], and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

When Song of Solomon 2:9, speaking to the Shunamite seeing the LORD at His coming, says “behold [see], he stands behind our wall,” the word “wall” is the one time used Hebrew word kothel, meaning “to compact; a wall (as gathering inmates).” It is speaking of the prison holding God’s people from Him. This is an aspect seen (alluded to) in His coming “leaping” on the mountains, from the 5 times used word dalag, meaning “to spring:–leap.” This (dalag) is the word used twice by David, in 2 Samuel 22:30 and Psalms 18:29, speaking of the war to rescue (save) the afflicted people, saying, by God he has “leaped” over the wall.

2 Samuel 22
28 And the afflicted people you will save: but your eyes are upon the haughty [the proud], that you mayest bring them down.
29 For you are my [burning] lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten [give me understanding] my darkness [of the things hidden in ignorance].
30 For by you [by Your revelation] I have run through a troop [the army of deceivers arrayed against us]: by my God have I leaped [dalag] over a wall [of lies upon lies holding the world in prison].
31 As for God, his way [His word] is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler [protector and deliverer] to all them that trust in him.
32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
33 God is my strength and power: and he makes my way perfect.
34 He makes my feet like hinds’ feet: and sets me upon my high places.
35 He teaches my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
36 You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your gentleness has made me great.

The title, after telling of leaping over the wall of wickedness in high places, taking it out of the way and thereby bringing them down (making mountains hills), the word rendered “skipping” is the seven times used word qaphats, meaning “to draw together, i.e. close; by implication, to leap (by contracting the limbs); specifically, to die (from gathering up the feet):–shut (up), skip, stop, take out of the way.”

The word (qaphats) is used by Isaiah, In Isaiah 52:15, when telling of the “form” of the LORD, at which many are astonished. The pattern is of the LORD dying on a hill, the blood of His sacrifice sprinkled on many, and kings “shall shut” their mouths at Him.

Isaiah 52
10 The LORD has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth [ending the old and beginning the new] shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Depart you, depart you, go you out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go you out of the midst of
12 For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward.
13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.
14 As many were astonished at you; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut [qaphats] their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Isaiah 53
1 Who has believed our report? and to who is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Friends, I am the one the LORD describes above. I am the one He is with, and there is no other. As He foretold, I expect to be despised and rejected, which is itself proof of God’s truth. The reasons for this (rejection) are delineated above, as many are “astonished” at me, from the Hebrew word shamem, meaning “to stun (or intransitively, grow numb), i.e. devastate or (figuratively) stupefy (both usually in a passive sense).”

The word (shamem) speaks of an inability to comprehend what is seen, therefore, there is no “form,” because the “visage” is “marred.” These words (the Hebrew word they are from) lead us to understand that the one seen and not comprehended is the separated king in the reestablished line of Joseph, Joshua, and David.

The word “form,” above in Isaiah 52:14 & 53:2, is from to’ar, meaning “outline, i.e. figure or appearance.” We know from this word’s use in Judges 8:18, it describes the “resemblance” of the children of the kings, as was Gideon: “feller (i.e. warrior),” the hewer of the king causing strife among God’s people.

Judges 8
18 Then said he [Gideon] unto Zebah and Zalmunna [the slaughter or those not protected when the day comes], What manner of men were they whom you slew at Tabor [tbar – fragile, when God’s people are “partly broken”]? And they answered, As you are, so were they; each one resembled [to’ar – the form is of] the children of a king.

Genesis 39
6 And he [the Egyptian] left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly [to’ar – the prototypical form of God’s chosen king] person, and well-favored.

1 Samuel 16
18 Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse [David] the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely [to’ar – has the form of God’s chosen king] person, and the LORD is with him [as He was with Joseph].

Genesis 39
2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.

The final two times this form is spoken of are , in Jeremiah 11:16, describing the “goodly” fruit ended as a branch broken off, and, in Lamentation 4:8, as the “visage” of those separated for the work of God, now covered by ignorance.

Jeremiah 11
9 And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
11 Therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
13 For according to the number of your cities were your gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have you set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.
14 Therefore pray not you for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
15 What has my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she has wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from you? when you do evil, then you rejoicest.
16 The LORD called your name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly [to’ar – the good form of the shepherd kings, as stones to be trusted, from who flows the word of God, because He is with him manifesting His presence in his rule as God rules] fruit: with the noise [qowl – the voice] of a great tumult [the confusion of Babylon] he has kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
17 For the LORD of hosts, that planted you [the king line], has pronounced evil against you, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
18 And the LORD has given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then you showed me their doings.
19 But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree [the king line] with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
20 But, O LORD of hosts [O man of war], that judges righteously, that tries the reins and the heart, let me see your vengeance on them: for unto you have I revealed my cause.
21 Therefore thus says the LORD of the men of Anathoth [‘anah – referring to Exodus 24:4 when all the people answered the LORD, saying they would obey His voice: Moses speaking], that seek your life, saying [to Jeremiah, Jehovah, the LORD, rising in him to raise His people], Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that you die not by our hand:
22 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
23 And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth [who reject this word and instead choose the words {qowl} of tumult], even the year of their visitation [pquddah].

Lamentations 4
1 How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street.
2 The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!
3 Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.
4 The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them.
5 They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.
6 For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her.
7 Her Nazarites [who are separated for the work of God] were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:
8 Their visage [to’ar] is blacker [chashak – hidden in ignorance] than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaves to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick [like a branch broken off].
9 They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field.
10 The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people.
11 The LORD has accomplished his fury; he has poured out his fierce anger, and has kindled a fire in Zion, and it has devoured the foundations thereof.
12 The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem.
13 For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,
14 They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.
15 They cried unto them, Depart you; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there.
16 The anger of the LORD has divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favored not the elders.
17 As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us.
18 They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come.
19 Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness.
20 The breath of our nostrils, the anointed [king] of the LORD, was taken in their pits [where His visage was imprisoned], of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen.
21 Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom [enemies mixed among us], that dwellest in the land of Uz [whose counsel/advice my people take]; the cup also shall pass through unto you: you shall be drunken, and shall make yourself naked.
22 The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry you away into captivity [with their counsel]: he will visit [paqad] your iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover your sins.

The word rendered “visage” in Isaiah 52:14, also rendered “beauty” in Isaiah 53:2, is mar’eh, meaning “a view (the act of seeing); also an appearance (the thing seen), whether (real) a shape (especially if handsome, comeliness; often plural the looks), or (mental) a vision.”

Isaiah only uses the word one other time, in Isaiah 11:3, rendered “after the sight,” speaking of the Branch returned, who the LORD teaches understanding, so he doesn’t listen to voices causing strife and tumult; instead seeing the unseen and hearing what hasn’t been heard.

From the previous post: Isaiah 42
18 Hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see.
19 Who is blind, but my servant [who I now awaken to My presence]? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?
20 Seeing many things, but you observe not; opening the ears, but he hears not [who is blind and deft to those {not looking or listening to the false gods} who put themselves in God’s place].

Isaiah 11
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots [into David]:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight [mar’eh] of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

This (mar’eh) is the word used by Eliphaz the Temanite (the so-call wise men of the world, whose god is wealth), in Job 4:16, as he speaks of seeing God, but not understanding it is Him.

Job 4
8 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
9 By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
10 The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
11 The old lion perishes for lack of prey, and the stout lion’s whelps are scattered abroad.
12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, [now] when deep sleep falls on men,
14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form [mar’eh] thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?

The word, in Isaiah 53:14, rendered “marred” is the twice used word mishchath, meaning “disfigurement:–corruption, marred,” which describes what blinds people to the LORD’s presence. The one other time it appears, in Levitcus 22:25, it tells that the bread of strangers (who don’t know, see, or hear God) is “their corruption.”

It (mishchath) is from the word shachath, meaning “to decay, i.e. (causatively) ruin (literally or figuratively).” It’s the word in Jeremiah 11:19 rendered “Let us destroy,” speaking of the king line and the king.

Jeremiah 11
18 And the LORD has given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then you showed me their doings.
19 But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy [shachath] the tree [the king line] with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

In this context understand the riddle that follows.

Ezekiel 17
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;
3 And say, Thus says the LORD God; A great eagle with great wings, long-winged, full of feathers, which had divers colours [Joseph in His coat], came unto Lebanon [He was purity seen on high, the first king in the king line], and took the highest branch of the cedar:
4 He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffic [in Egypt]; he set it in a city of merchants.
5 He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree.
6 And it grew, and [in Egypt God’s people] became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs.
7 There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers [whose name is David]: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation.
8 It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.
9 Say you, Thus says the LORD God; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
10 Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind touches it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew. [Matthew 21: 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on you henceforward forever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!]
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know you not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon [confusion] is come to Jerusalem, and has taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon [confusion];
13 And has taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and has taken an oath of him: he has also taken the mighty of the land:
14 That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant [hearing this voice of sanity and good advice] it might stand.
15 But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt [to those oppressing them], that they might give him horses [strength] and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that does such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?
16 As I live, says the LORD God, surely in the place where the king dwells that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon [in confusion now turned delusion and insanity] he shall die.
17 Neither shall Pharaoh [the powers, tyrants, of the oppression] with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:
18 Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and has done all these things, he shall not escape.
19 Therefore thus says the LORD God; As I live, surely mine oath that he has despised, and my covenant that he has broken [not listening to My voice], even it will I recompense upon his own head.
20 And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon [into confusion, delusion, and insanity], and will plead with him there for his trespass that he has trespassed against me.
21 And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and you shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.
22 Thus says the LORD God; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon a high mountain and eminent:
23 In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
24 And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.

Matthew 13
31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
33 Another parable spoke he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven [corruption], which a woman [the unfaithful] took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened [was corrupt].
34 All these things spoke Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spoke he not unto them:
35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

1 Chronicles 5
1 Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.
2 For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph’s:)

Genesis 49
8 Judah [the leaders God chose], you are he whom your brethren shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies; your father’s children shall bow down before you.
9 Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The scepter [shebet] shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet [speaking of the Davidic king line], until Shiloh come [meaning peace and tranquility – the one {Joseph’s seed – the one separated} from who it will again flow – see Ezekiel 21:27, and the overturning]; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine [this speaks of the lowly {Zechariah 9:9}, God’s elect remnant, outside the established sects, bound until Shiloh comes, when they are loosed]; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

18 (I have waited for your salvation, O LORD.)

22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well [a tree of life by these waters of God]; whose branches run over the wall [the wall of lies men have created and teach]:
23 The archers [ba’al – the gods of this world whose teaching has blinded all form seeing the Father, in the son, the seed of the women who brings forth the man child – see Revelation 12:17] have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
25 Even by the God of your father, who shall help [‘azar – as in Eleazar] you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies under [the deep meaning that lies below the surface], blessings of the breasts, and of the womb [seed, the son]:
26 The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors [all those who have come before us, and were only blessed with part of what is perfected in our return to the LORD] unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Proverbs 1
5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother:
9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto your head, and chains about your neck.
10 My son, if sinners entice you, consent you not.
11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
14 Cast in your lot among us; let us all have one purse:
15 My son, walk not you in the way with them; refrain your foot from their path:
16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
19 So are the ways of everyone that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
20 Wisdom cries without; she utters her voice in the streets:
21 She cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she utters her words, saying,
22 How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But you have set at naught all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes;
27 When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
33 But whoso hearkens unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Psalms 49
1 Hear this, all you people; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world:
2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases forever:)
9 That he should still live forever, and not see corruption.
10 For he sees that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue forever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
12 Nevertheless man being in honor abides not: he is like the beasts that perish.
13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
16 Be not you afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise you, when you do well to yourself.
19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
20 Man that is in honor, and understands not, is like the beasts that perish.

Psalms 11
1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say you to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5 The LORD tries the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hates.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance does behold the upright.

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

The Hebrew word above rendered “perfect” is tamiym, meaning “entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth:–without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright(-ly), whole.”

The word “converting” is shuwb, here speaking of the return to the state, not the time, before the fall, when man walked in agreement with God and followed Him only. Its meaning, from the Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary, is: “to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively (not necessarily with the idea of return to the starting point); generally to retreat; often adverbial, again.”

In the above context, we can properly understand the subject is “making wise [chakam] the simple [pthiy],” converting them by the perfect and sure word of God.

Proverbs 19
20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in [this] your latter end.
21 There are many devices [mashachabah – as when the evil thoughts of men were great in the earth, which brought the flood in the days of Noah] in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

25 Smite a scorner, and the simple [pthiy] will beware: and reprove one that has understanding, and he will understand knowledge.

The title is Psalms 19:7, which begins by telling us this work of the LORD is in the firmament and is His glory declared in the heavens.

The depth in this statement, found in the understanding He’s given us, is that the firmament (which God called heaven: full understanding), from the word raqiya’, meaning an expanse, tells of when and how the LORD separated the waters above from the waters below (as in Genesis 1:6 thru 8): meaning His word from the words of men that corrupt and darken its depth.

In the title, David, who tells us in 2 Samuel 23:2, the Spirit of the LORD spoke by Him, and His word was his tongue, uses the word “heavens” to tell us this handiwork of God, ends the old corrupt understanding (heaven) and creates the new (heaven).

The word raqiya’ is from the eleven times used word raqa’, meaning “to pound the earth (as a sign of passion); by analogy to expand (by hammering); by implication, to overlay (with thin sheets of metal).”

The idea of men’s corruption is seen when raqa’ is used, in Isaiah 40:19 to tell of the makers of idols “spreading them over” with gold. Isaiah then uses the word two other times, in Isaiah 42:5, rendered “spread forth” in telling of the LORD’s work in the heaven and earth; and in Isaiah 44:24 where the LORD says its Him alone, who is our Redeemer, who has done these things.

Isaiah 40
5 And the glory [in the heavens, ending the old and creating the new] of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
7 The grass [the corrupt understanding of men] withers, the flower [the glory of men] fades: because the spirit of the LORD blows [moves unknown] upon it: surely the people is grass.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand forever [to bring light into the darkness when He wills].
9 O Zion, that brings good tidings, get you up into the high mountain [when the glory of the LORD is revealed]; O Jerusalem, that bring good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, “Behold [see] your God!”
10 Behold, the LORD God will come with a strong hand, and his arm [revealed] shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work [in the firmament, separating His word from the corruption of men who’ve polluted it] before him [paniym – revealed by His presence].
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm [into ONE BODY], and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
12 Who has measured the waters [above and below] in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven [full understanding] with the span, and comprehended the dust [the ruin and corruption] of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains [the high places of the earth] in scales, and the hills in a balance [making the high places small]?
13 Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counselor has taught him?
14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and showed to him the way of understanding?
15 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles [the dry place of the earth, among the people at large, that are without this word of God] as a very little thing.
16 And Lebanon [the high places where purity should be seen] is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.
17 All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
18 To whom then will you liken God? or what likeness will you compare unto him?
19 The workman melts a graven image [an idol they put in God’s place], and the goldsmith spread it over [raqa’ – hiding what is below] with gold, and casts silver chains [with which they hold men in darkness: ignorance].
20 He that is so impoverished [lacking these treasures of God] that he has no oblation chooses a tree [the dead-wood overlayed with gold] that will not rot; he seeks unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image [an abomination], that shall not be moved [from the place of the holy].
21 Have you not known? have you not heard? has it not been told you from the beginning? have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
22 It is he that sits upon the circle [circuit – the ends and beginnings] of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers [whose glory fades away as they destroy all flesh/grass]; that stretch out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in:
23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he makes the judges of the earth as vanity.
24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
25 To whom then will you liken me, or shall I be equal? says the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes on high and behold who has created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calls them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one fails.
27 Why sayest you, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?”
28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends [endings and the beginnings] of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 42
1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delight; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles [those who don’t know me, even My sleeping people who think they do, while they worship idols men put in My place and called by My name].
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench [speaking of the wick of a lamp, whose light is almost completely extinguished, which the LORD trims so it again shines brightly]: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles [the place without this word of God] shall wait for his law.
5 Thus says God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth [raqa’ – covers with His understanding] the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
6 I the LORD have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light [understanding] of the Gentiles [who don’t know Me];
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness [ignorance] out of the prison house.
8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images [men put in My place].
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar [darkness – ignorance] does inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.
13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.
14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman [to bring forth God’s children]; I will destroy and devour at once.
15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs [their glory]; and I will make the rivers islands [their words that flow to the sea; the people at large], and I will dry up the pools [the place where their corrupt words are aggregated].
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed [they shall be disappointed when they don’t reach the end their false prophets told them they would], that trust in graven images [false gods they follow, who’ve put themselves in My place], that say to the molten images, You are our gods.
18 Hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see.
19 Who is blind, but my servant [who I now awaken to My presence]? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?
20 Seeing many things, but you observe not; opening the ears, but he heareth not [who is blind and deft to those, the false gods, who put themselves in God’s place].
21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law [the word of God], and make it honorable.
22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses [holding them down in ignorance, death, and hell]: they are for a prey, and none delivers; for a spoil, and none says, Restore [take these false gods they follow out of the way {mesos}, and restore understanding].
23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law [His word].
25 Therefore he has poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it has set him on fire round about, yet he knew not [because they are sleeping in ignorance: dead in hell]; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

Isaiah 44
1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus says the LORD that made you, and formed you from the womb, which will help you; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and you, Jesurun [God’s people who prosper when they follow only Him], whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon your seed, and my blessing upon your offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.
5 One shall say, I am the LORD’s; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
6 Thus says the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them show unto them.
8 Fear you not, neither be afraid: have not I told you from that time, and have declared it? you are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
10 Who has formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
12 The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioned it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength fails: he drinks no water, and is faint.
13 The carpenter stretches out his rule; he marks it out with a line; he fits it with planes, and he marks it out with the compass, and makes it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
14 He hews him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengthens for himself among the trees of the forest: he plant an ash, and the rain does nourish it.
15 Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindles it, and bakes bread; yea, he makes a god, and worships it; he makes it a graven image, and falls down thereto.
16 He burns part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eats flesh; he roasts a roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warms himself, and says, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
17 And the residue thereof he makes a god, even his graven image: he falls down unto it, and worships it, and prays unto it, and says, Deliver me; for you are my god.
18 They have not known nor understood: for he has shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
19 And none considers in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree [even if it is covered in gold: the things in which men mistakenly put their trust]?
20 He feeds on ashes: a deceived heart has turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant: I have formed you; you are my servant: O Israel, you shall not be forgotten of me.
22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed you.
23 Sing, O you heavens; for the LORD has done it: shout, you lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
24 Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad [raqa’ – covers with understanding] the earth by myself;
25 That frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; that turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;
26 That confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; that says to Jerusalem, You shall be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, You shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
27 That says to the deep [the understanding of men], Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers [your words that flow to My people]:
28 That says of Cyrus [the LORD of the furnace], He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, You shall be built; and to the temple [God’s people in whom He dwells], Your foundation shall be laid.

As we know, the furnace is the time of terror, darkness, and the deep sleep of God’s people in it, which began when God made His covenant with Abram and Isaac was born. As we also know, this is the same furnace in which Daniel saw the son of God walking, and the time of sleep as a time, a times, and a (rightly) dividing of time, which he describes in chapter 12 showing it ends now in these last days when the resurrection occurs.

Before posting these chapters again, here is the formula revealed in these times.

The time of the deep sleep, the walk in the furnace, ends when, as God promised, Abraham’s seed has become a great multitude. When God, in Genesis 15, tells this to Abraham, it is the year 1897 BC, and Isaac is born the following year.

In Daniel 12, we are told the end comes after a time, a times, and a half, when the power of God’s holy people is scattered. The word “half” is the Hebrew word chetsiy, meaning “the half or middle:–half, middle, mid(-night), midst, part, two parts.” It’s from the word chatsah, meaning “to cut or split in two; to halve:–divide, X live out half, reach to the midst, participle.”

These words are telling of rightly dividing (understanding) the time Daniel is told the book is sealed and opened, both by the two men seen on the two sides of the river. The one he sees upon the waters of the river is the word of God made flesh, the one like the son of God, always here walking in the fires of the furnace with us. Abram, in Genesis 15, sees this man as a burning lamp, after the sun went down (the book sealed) and darkness (ignorance) came, and the burning lamp passed (the son in who understanding has always been the light) between the two cut pieces of the sacrifice.

Daniel then, in Daniel 12:11 & 12, tells of the time, and the times, of this opening of the sealed book. He gives two times, 1290 days (years) and 1335 day (years), of the latter, saying blessed are those who come to it. The formula is this: the time is 1290 years, followed by a times (both these numbers) 1290 + 1335, all equaling 3915 years passing. We know it began at Isaac’s birth, 1896 BC, which when removed from 3915 years leaves 2019, the year the LORD showed me this sealed treasure. (The math doesn’t lie, and all the above is true. Receive and understand the time we are living in is the time the angel told Daniel of, when we stand in our lot at the end of days).

1 Thessalonians 4
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

As we’ve seen, this “air” wherein we meet the LORD, is from the seven times used Greek word aer, meaning “(to breathe unconsciously, i.e. respire; by analogy, to blow); “air” (as naturally circumambient):–air”. As seen here, the word tells of the air becoming clear, after the LORD has given understanding in the cloud (where the elements of understanding are held when they leave the earth).

John, using the word in Revelation 9:2 and 16:17, tells us how the air became unclear, where we couldn’t see and understand. He says it’s from the same smoke Abram saw in the furnace before the burning lamp passed. The light (understand) of the lamp is what ends the ignorance that caused the sleep and the unclarity.

Revelation 9
2 And he opened the bottomless pit [the endless fall away from God – apostasy]; and there arose a smoke [so no man could see clearly] out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun [the church] and the air [aer – clarity of sight] were darkened [became ignorant] by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth [to devour]: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power [to rot men from the inside, in their mind, causing death: sleep].

Revelation 16
17 And the seventh angel [God’s finisher – the archangel] poured out his vial into the air [aer – to clear it of the smoke]; and there came a great voice [the shout of the archangel] out of the temple of heaven [God’s people with full understanding], from the throne, saying, “It is done.”
18 And there were voices [of understanding], and thunders [the sound of the light – understanding heard], and lightning [understand as light from the cloud]; and there was a great earthquake [the voices shaking the earth, so the creations of the wicked are shaken from it], such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon [the confusion that has ruled over the world causing its desolation] came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath [the word of God, the sword of His truth, destroying the evil works of wicked and misleading men].
20 And every island fled away [and these waters, this word of God was heard everywhere], and the mountains [the wicked high place of the old earth] were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven [the word of God reserved, frozen there to be released unto fire in this time of war], every stone [from where this word of God flows] about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed [vilified and demonized] God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Daniel 12
1 And at that time shall Michael [who is like, in the likeness of, God] stand up, the great prince which stand for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble [tsarah – tribulation], such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
4 But you, O Daniel [the judgment of God], shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro [diligently seeking the LORD], and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river [as the flesh of one divided in two], and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders [of these things wondered at and not known]?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by him that lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half [chetsiy – the right dividing of the time between]; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not [as none have until now, as God said it would be and it has been]: then said I, O my LORD, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set-up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waits [for the LORD to open], and come to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go you your way till the end be: for you shall rest, and stand in your lot at the end of the days.

Genesis 15
5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if you be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall your seed be.
6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
7 And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought you out of Ur [out of the flame {of the furnace}] of the Chaldees [those who used the word to manipulate and control and oppress], to give you this land to inherit it.
8 And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
9 And he said unto him, Take me a heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.
12 And when the sun [when understanding] was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness [ignorance] fell upon him.
13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that your seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred [four thousand] years;
14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
15 And you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.
16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites [the sayers – those speaking against God and exalting their words above His] is not yet full.
17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun [the light in the church] went down, and it was dark [and ignorance covered the earth], behold a smoking furnace [and no man saw clearly], and a burning lamp [Christ – God’s anointed] that passed between those pieces.
18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto your seed have I given this land [the USA].

Isaiah 62
1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns.
2 And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
3 You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah [the LORD’s delight], and your land Beulah [the LORD’s dominion]: for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
6 I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: you that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establishes, and till he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give your corn to be meat for your enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink your wine, for that which you have labored:
9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare you the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say you to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Isaiah 63
1 Who is this [a man of war] that comes from Edom [from the enemies mixed among us], with dyed garments from Bozrah [from the sheepfold]? this that is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? [Daniel 3: 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.] I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
2 Wherefore are you red in your apparel, and your garments like him that treads in the wine fat?
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
7 I will mention the loving-kindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.
8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Savior.
9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
13 That led them through the deep, as a horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?
14 As a beast goes down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so did you lead your people, to make yourself a glorious name.
15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the sounding of your bowels and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?
16 Doubtless you are our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: you, O LORD, are our father, our redeemer; your name is from everlasting.
17 O LORD, why have you made us to err from your ways, and hardened our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
18 The people of your holiness have possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
19 We are yours: you never barest rule over them; they were not called by your name.

Psalms 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handy-work.
2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his [own] errors? cleanse you me from secret faults.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Mine eyes have seen your salvation, Which you have prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.

Mine eyes have seen your salvation, Which you have prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.

The word above rendered “salvation” is the five times used Greek word soterion, meaning “defender or (by implication) defense:–salvation.”

This word speaks of the one in whose face (presence) salvation is “seen,” by the preparation (their repentance) as glory in His people (God in the flesh of those who’ve received Him), who become the carrier of His light to lighten those who don’t know God or His manner (giving understanding of, making straight, His way before them).

It (soterion) is from the word soteria (salvation itself), from the word soter (the Savour), from soza (the saving), from sos, meaning to save.

In Luke, the word soza is used of those who’ve been saved already (by faith), and telling of the those who seek to save (soza) their own lives losing them, and those who lose their lives shall preserve them. This last aspect is described in the later uses of soza, when, during the crucifixion, people are calling for the LORD to save (soza) Himself.

It (this manner of salvation) is also seen when soza is used in 1 Timothy 4:16. There Paul, speaking of faith in the Word of God, tells Timothy, “Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save [soza] yourself, and them that hear you.”

Romans 10
6 But the righteousness which is of faith [believing it is the LORD speaking through His Word] speaks on this wise, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what says it? The word is nigh you, even in your mouth [which is where He rises, in His word spoken through us], and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus [is speaking through us, as He is speaking through me], and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him [in us] from the dead, you shall be saved [soza].
10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name [His identity in us] of the LORD shall be saved [soza]. [Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save {soza} them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.]
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! [This is from Isaiah 52:7, speaking of the report heard, the previous verse saying, “Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that does speak: behold, it is I.” The here quoted portions of verse 7, speaking of His appearing {epihaneia} and kingdom, finishes saying, “that says unto Zion, Your God reigns!]
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah [in Isaiah 53:1] says, LORD, who has believed our report? [and to who {except those who believe He is speaking the report} is the arm of the revealed?]
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes truly, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses says [Deuteronomy 32:21 – see below], I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
20 But Isaiah [in Isaiah 65:1 & 2 – see below] is very bold, and says, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21 But to Israel he says, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Titus 2
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation [soterion] has appeared [epiphaino] to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly [rejecting the world’s delusions and insanity], righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing [epiphaneia] of the great God and our Savior [soter] Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.

1 Timothy 2
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior [soter];
4 Who will have all men to be saved [soza], and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Luke, using the word soterion one other time, in Luke 3:6, speaks of the “salvation” seen in John the Baptist, preaching the preparation of repentance (the LORD working through and in Him unknown). The first effect, the firstborn from this Baptism, is Jesus, after coming up out of the waters as the known presence of God.

Luke 3
2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
4 As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the LORD, make his paths straight.
5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
11 He answered and said unto them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has meat, let him do likewise.
12 Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?
13 And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.
15 And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he was the Christ, or not;
16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I comes, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge [of sin, as in Isaiah 27:8 & 9, when it shoot forth you shall debate with it, and he shall take away all the sins of those who receive Him as He is] his floor, and will gather the wheat into His [into ONE BODY] garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
18 And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people.
19 But Herod [the heroes of the enemies mixed among us, at war with us and tyrannically ruling over us] the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip’s wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,
20 Added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison [these enemies mixed among stopped all calls to repentance].
21 Now when all the people were baptized [and began to repent, to end their silence], it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
22 And the Holy Ghost [the LORD God unknown] descended in a bodily shape like a dove [as on Jonah, and as John, signs of the end] upon him, and a voice came from heaven [the LORD making His presence known in Him], which said, “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.”
23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph.

2 Thessalonians 2
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the LORD shall consume with the spirit of his mouth [speaking this Word of God], and shall destroy with the brightness [epiphaneia] of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan [who led all astray, away from God, into the endless fall away from Him in the bottomless pit] with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth [the brightness of His coming, HIS GRACE AND TRUTH upon all], that they [as many as comprehend and receive Him,] might be saved [soza].
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion [the insanity that covers the world, wherein men can’t distinguish between their delusion and reality, not even knowing the difference between men and women], that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the LORD, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit [Him working and speaking unknown] and belief of the truth [that it is Him speaking]:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our LORD Jesus Christ [when He is known].
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which you have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our LORD Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.

Genesis 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God [only, when darkness covered the face of the deep, when the world became ignorant of what is below the surface of the word still present].
3 All things were made by him [the Word of God, by which He framed the worlds: beginnings and endings]; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light [understanding – comprehension] of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness [understand came into the flesh of God’s anointed: the son who received understanding directly from the Father]; and the darkness [the ignorant] comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness [calling all to repentance, purging out corruption], to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world [into new life, quickened by the understanding of the second Adam, God’s Spirit in the flesh doing His work, bringing many sons to glory].
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name [God’s signature seen in Him]:
13 Which were born [again], not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld [saw] his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of GRACE AND TRUTH.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

My reference above to God’s “framing” the worlds points to Hebrews 11:3 where it’s stated while the writer is speaking of faith. It is describing the faithful throughout history, who heard and believed God, and saw the promises far off, perfected in our time, verses 40 saying, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”

Hebrews 11
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for [heard but not received], the evidence [the promise they would appear] of things not [yet] seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report [as here, God testifying to their faith in Him].
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds [beginnings and endings] were framed by the word of God [in those He anointed], so that things which are seen [not yet comprehended] were not made of things which do appear [phaino – lightened, shined and shown].
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaks.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

When verse 10 speaks of God as the builder and maker of the foundations of the city, it speaks of when and how it was “framed” by Him. It is from the Greek word katartizo, meaning “to complete thoroughly, i.e. repair (literally or figuratively) or adjust:–fit, frame, mend, (make) perfect(-ly join together), prepare, restore.”

The word speaks of the mechanism God put in place, which created the world, and which refreshes it when needed, restoring order and re-establishing the foundations. It is Him manifesting Himself in the flesh, revealing the things that remain present in His word but are unseen by the world degenerated into ignorance by following small men (misleaders) who (ignorantly proud) think they are great.

23 Know you that our brother Timothy is set at liberty [freed from death and sent on this mission, as a man of war]; with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you., it tells of the body the LORD has “prepared,” the one who comes to do His will, who comes in the volume book, revealing God in Him: the word of God made flesh. When this is said, it’s quoting Psalms 40:6 thru 8, which further speaks of how he, the Word of God, comes to take away sins caused by falling away from God and His truth: by following the unrighteous misleaders who put themselves in God’s place and are now sitting in His seat teaching error.

Hebrews 10
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared [katartizo] me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come ([hidden in the unknown deep] in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, “Lo, I come to do your will, O God.” He taketh away the first [offering by the law, which cannot take away errors], that he may establish the second [doing His will, to take away errors, as stated below in the following verses of Psalms 40].

Psalms 40
4 Blessed is that man that makes the LORD his trust, and respect not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are to us-ward [Your ONE BODY ]: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; mine ears have you opened: burnt offering and sin offering have you not required.
7 Then said I, “Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8 I delight to do your will, O my God: yea, your law is within my heart.
9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, you know.
10 I have not hid your righteousness within my heart; I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation: I have not concealed your lovingkindness and your truth from the great congregation.
11 Withhold not you your tender mercies from me [Your ONE BODY], O LORD: let your lovingkindness and your truth continually preserve me [perfecting us into new life].
12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me [and scattered our parts], so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart [understanding] fails me [Your ONE BODY].
13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, ‘Aha, aha.’
16 Let all those that [diligently] seek you rejoice and be glad in you: let such as love your salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
17 But I am poor and needy; yet the LORD think upon me: you are my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.”

Hebrews 13
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
6 So that we may boldly say, The LORD is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our LORD Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect [katartizo] in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
23 Know you that our brother Timothy is set at liberty [freed from death and sent on this mission, as a man of war]; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

1 Peter 4
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved [soza], where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

1 Peter 5
1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.
5 Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace [and TURH] to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect [katartizo], establish, strengthen, settle you.
11 To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Paul, in 1 Corinthians 1:10, describes the “perfecting” in being in ONE BODY, with one mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly [katartizo] joined together [in ONE BODY] in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it has been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe [chloros – the “pale” horse whose name is Death, and Hell followed with him], that there are contentions among you [that have divided and scattered you, in this house].
12 Now this I say, that every one of you says, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel [which gathers you from the names you’ve taken, and joins you into ONE BODY]: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ [long-suffering to bring this word of God, which effectually works to produce One Mind of Christ in you] should be made of none effect.
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved [soza] it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save [soza] them that believe [it is Him speaking].

The word “settle” in 1 Peter 5:10 above is the six times used Greek word themelioo, meaning “to lay a basis for, i.e. (literally) erect, or (figuratively) consolidate:–(lay the) found(- ation), ground, settle.” It tells of the consolidation into ONE BODY, by laying the foundations and order that erects us, raising us from our fallen state in death and hell.

Hebrews 1
10 And, You, LORD, in the beginning, have laid the foundation [themelioo] of the earth; and the heavens [separating the word {waters} of God from the errors of man, bringing full understanding in the firmament: this exposition] are the works of your hands:
11 They shall perish [the old corrupt heaven and earth]; but you [the Word of God] remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment;
12 And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed [purged from corruption, creating a new heaven and earth, wherein dwells righteousness]: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels [His messengers] said he at any time, “Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool?”
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, [not sitting still, but] sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation [soteria]?

Hebrews 2
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation [soteria]; which at the first began to be spoken by the LORD, and was confirmed unto us by them [ministering spirits] that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost [the LORD unknown, working and speaking these treasures He’s freely given us], according to his own will?

Isaiah 65
1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
3 A people that provoke me to anger continually to my face [my presence]; that sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense upon altars of brick [the creations of men];
4 Which remain among the graves [in hell], and lodge in the monuments [among the dead], which eat swine’s flesh [every unclean thing], and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5 Which say, “Stand by yourself, come not near to me; for I am holier than you.”

Deuteronomy 32
17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
18 Of the Rock that begat you you are unmindful, and have forgotten God that formed you.
19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation [twisting and perverting truth], children in whom is no faith.
21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
27 Were it not that I feared [for them] the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD has not done all this.
28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.
29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies [mixed among us] themselves being judges.

Isaiah 40
3 The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
7 The grass withers, the flower fades: because the spirit of the LORD blows upon it: surely the people is grass.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand forever.
9 O Zion, that brings good tidings, get you up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10 Behold, the LORD God will come with a strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Exodus 15
2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

Psalms 108
1 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto you among the nations.
4 For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reaches unto the clouds.
5 Be you exalted, O God, above the heavens: and your glory above all the earth;
6 That your beloved may be delivered: save with your right hand, and answer me.
7 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
9 Moab is my washpot [I will cleanse them at the gates of hell]; over Edom [the enemies mixed among us] will I cast out my shoe [taking them captive]; over Philistia [the invaders among us who refuse to assimilate into our better culture] will I triumph.
10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom [as a man or war against the enemies]?
11 Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our hosts?
12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
