They are in the business of un-parenting people by ridding them of their unwanted children. They are the people caught on tape haggling over the price of body parts of the children they would eventually kill. Much of the taped haggling centered on exactly how they would alter the killing procedure to not damage the organs during harvest. One such conversation was about how to keep the head intact so the brain wouldn’t be damaged.
Planned Parenthood defenders later claimed (once caught doing the unthinkable) these were acts of compassion by their soothing the mothers’ conscience by using the child’s body parts for research. They and their coconspirators in the news media then fabricated a story claiming they were “donating” the parts with the consent of those they un-parented. As always they totally reject and alter evidence proving the opposite and reported a version that transforms the brutal premeditated killing, dissection and sale of infant children into some morally superior act of compassion. Of course in this contrived version those protesting the sanctioned barbarism became the evil ones, and their true acts of compassion in the name of the innocent and voiceless children became defined as the morally reprehensible. This is the upside down and backward world we now live in.
The Republican response is to surrender to these reverse definitions and to run away from the principled position. They run to escape the public ridicule and demonization that accompanies doing the right thing. They have talked a “good” game to get elected and vehemently deny they have abandoned us in favor of the comfort and acceptance of the corrupted culture. They say they are for life, for fiscal responsibility and policy correction, for liberty, for the Constitution, for a normal standard of right and wrong, for our national defense both foreign and domestic, all the while doing nothing to enact it. In these last days they have not only abandon the defense of these ideas but now openly change sides and vote with those who oppose each and every one. Those doing so have betrayed the trust placed in them by our votes and therefore they must be removed and replaced.
Nowhere in the nation is this condition more blatantly obvious than in the 2nd District of North Carolina and Renee Ellmers. She claims to be pro life while consistently voting against it and for funding Planned Parenthood. She epitomizes the problem in the Republican Party and in our republic. The response should be to vote these types out in the primary and put people in who are willing to stand in the battle in this most consequential time.
