Then said he unto me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD sees us not; the LORD has forsaken the earth.

The above is Ezekiel 8:12, and Ezekiel (meaning he is the one strengthened, given understanding, by God and is, thereby, the strength of God) is the “Son of man” to whom Jehovah (the Father) is speaking. This book and the title “Son of man” is the origin of the LORD Jesus often describing Himself past, present, and future (“the same yesterday, today, and forever”) using this appellative.

It is the LORD’s will today to further reveal the Son of man, “to bring many sons [children] to the same glory.”

Hebrews 2
5 For unto the angels has he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place [Psalms 8] testified [of the son], saying, “What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit [in Hebrew paqad – manifest Your presence as the Chief Overseer of the earth, in] him?
7 You made him a little lower than the angels [as we’ve seen, the words here are chacer’ elohiym, telling us the son is intentionally sent lacking the full knowledge of God; the Psalm then saying this is planned so the son {I Am: His presence in this moment manifested in the flesh He’s chosen} can be crowned by the Father with His understanding: revelation only known to the Father]; you crowned him with glory and honor, and did set him over the works of your hands:
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we [in our blindness] see not yet [that] all things [are] put under him [not hearing and obeying this word as the Father’s voice, as it is].
9 But we [again] see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death [sent without understanding], [now, when we see Him again] crowned with glory and honor [raised to life by the light of the Father in him]; that he by the grace of God should taste death [and be raise from it] for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain [archegos – only used three other times; in Acts 3:15, speaking of the son as the “Prince” of life, who the religious and civil powers denied, conspired against, and killed; Acts 5:31 as the risen “Prince” who is seated at the Father’s right hand {from where Habakkuk 3:4 says, in this writing, comes His hidden power as rays of light}; and Hebrews 12:2 saying He is “the Author and Finisher of our Faith”] of their salvation perfect [teleioo – made complete, filled full] through sufferings [the same affliction, tribulation, doubting the LORD is present, the daka’, that, through proof of him {I Am}, makes us ready, willing, to be quickened from corruption into life].
11 For both he that sanctifies [purges us from corruption, making us holy] and they who are sanctified [purged and made holy] are all of one [Body of Christ]: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 Saying, I will declare your name [identity] unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing [repeating the words You’ve given me] praise unto you.
13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me [when our mouths are opened with His words, are for signs and wonders to God’s people at large].
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he [the Father] also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death [coming lacking understanding] he might [self-manifesting His light, life, in the flesh, to] destroy him that had the power of [to deceive men into ignorance of God and to instead follow them into] death, that is, the devil [the misleaders who put themselves in His place];
15 And deliver them [the misled] who through fear of death [not understanding it is a state of mind], were all their lifetime subject to bondage [but you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free from death].
16 For truly he took not on him the nature of angels [a mere messenger given a message]; but he took on him the seed of Abraham [to whom the LORD promised a son, an heir who would become as many as the sand of the shore and the stars of heaven].
17 Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren [born into dead flesh here in hell], that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted [to doubt the Father’s presence with him here in hell, to from it raise us], he is able to succor [rescue] them that are tempted [to doubt Him].

The Son of man deploys when the ancients [zaqen – the elders] of God’s people have fallen into darkness, no longer believing or recognizing He is always present. In the Son, He, Jehovah the Father, openly manifests His presence as He reveals Himself in the flesh of the Son He chooses and reveals to whosoever He wills.

Friends, right now, the vast majority of God’s people have created their own gods and established them as the idols (abominations) they worship in the place of the true. The ancients and the priests, being thoroughly taught these idols, refuse to consider the darkness they’ve become and propagate. They are those holding the world in death here in the hell they’ve created.

These ancients are described, in verse 26 of the prior chapter, as men ignorant of their own ignorance, hearing this word from the mouth of Jehovah as only a “rumor” that all wonder about, not realizing it’s the snare He foretold. As we know, the word “rumor” is from shmuw’ah, from the word shama’ (meaning to hear and obey) and the name Jehovah.

In the same sense as its use in Ezekiel, it (shmuw’ah) is the word Isaiah uses in Isaiah 53:1, where (in the form of a question) He tells us that hearing the “report,” believing and obeying it as the voice of the Father, is the arm of the LORD revealed to those before held in their ignorance.

Matthew 24
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise you, when you shall see [as you now see] all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Truly I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 [The old and corrupt] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words [this word He alive in me is speaking] shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour known no man [as none have known Him at His presence manifested in His word], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Isaiah 53
1 Who has believed our report [shmuw’ah – who has heard these words as the voice of the LORD, as it is]? and to whom [but those who’ve heard it as such] is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him [paniym – into His presence manifested before the eye or the world] as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground [‘erets – the earth without this word of God]: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from [paniym – hiding His presence meant to be revealed in us, and will be when awakened by] him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not [remember the meaning of the name Timothy, the name of the highest esteemed of God].
4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised [daka’] for our iniquities: the chastisement [correction] of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray [into apostacy]; we have turned every one to his own way [forgetting the only way is the LORD’s]; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep [Rachel – her child whose birthright is the throne, traveling, journeying, through the generations] before her shearers is dumb, so he open not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment [as was Joseph, Rachel’s child]: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living [sent here into death and hell]: for the transgression of my people was he stricken [with them].
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise [daka’] him; he has put him to grief: when you [God’s people] shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto [as a willing servant sent here into] death: and he was numbered with the transgressors [as I now Am]; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Friends, the LORD’s plan, everything He’s prepared and provided for its implementation, have been given here alone. It is the good the world needs, which John speaks of in 1 John 3:17. It is God’s love (agape – charity) and (chayah) life (light – understanding) poured out through us to save the world. It’s the same we’ve heard from the beginning: that we should have this charity one toward another, and in this (sacrifice, bearing His cross) the world will know Christ, the Father alive in His children.

1 John 3
1 Behold [see, now that the corruption is removed], what manner of love [agape – giving us these gifts] the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should [by His correction] be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knows us not, because it knew him not [as He’s worked and spoken among us, unknown, shepherding us to this time of perfection by His correction]
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear [again to our sight], we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself [of corruption], even as he is pure.

Matthew 5
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Ezekiel 7
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Also, you son of man, thus says the LORD God [‘Adonay Jehovih – the King of king and LORD of lords] unto the land [‘adamah – this generation I Am creating] of Israel; An end [qets], the end [qets] is come upon the four corners of the land [‘erets – the earth where My people are scattered].
3 Now is the end [qets] come upon you, and I will send my anger upon you, and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all your abominations [tow’edah].
4 And my eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense your ways upon you, and your abominations [tow’ebah] shall be in the midst of you: and you shall know that I Am the LORD.
5 Thus says the LORD God [‘Adonay Jehovih]; An evil [ra’], an only evil [ra’], behold, is come.
6 An end [qets] is come, the end [qets] is come: it watches [quwts – it awakens, in the morning] for you; behold, it is come.
7 The morning [tsphiyrah – the diadem of Isaiah 28:5, the crown upon the head of the LORD of the army of heaven] is come unto you, O you that dwell in the land [‘erets – the old and corrupt earth]: the time is come, the day of trouble is near [qarowb], and not the sounding again [hed – only used here, meaning the evil decrees] of the mountains [from the corrupt governments of church and state].
8 Now will I shortly [qarowb] pour out my fury upon you, and accomplish [kalah – as used twice in Daniel 12:7; to finish] my anger upon you: and I will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense you for all your abominations [tow’ebah].
9 And my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense you according to your ways and your abominations [tow’ebah] that are in the midst of you; and you shall know that I Am the LORD that smites.
10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning [tsphiyrah – the crowning] is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.
11 Violence [chamac] is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
12 The time is come, the day draws near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
14 They [the faithful of the LORD] have blown the trumpet [giving ample warning], even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
15 The sword [this word they refuse] is without [the camp], and the pestilence [the disease that comes upon the wicked at My presence manifested] and the famine [God’s people refusing His word] within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16 But they that escape [palat] of them shall escape [paliyt], and shall be on the mountains [going into God’s new government] like doves of the valleys [as signs to the lowly of the end reached], all of them mourning [the end of the old and corrupt heaven and earth], every one for his iniquity.
17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold [all the things the old and corrupt world thought were of value] shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it [the things in which they trust] is the stumbling-block [mikshowl – the likeness of hell, following things desired] of their iniquity.
20 As for the beauty of his ornament [the words with which the LORD has clothed, adorned, us], he set it in majesty [ga’own – He exalted it above all worldly value]: but they made the images of their abominations [tow’ebah] and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it [My majesty] far from them.
21 And I will give it [images you’ve created] into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
22 My face [paniym – My presence] will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret [tsaphan] place [so none see any value in the treasure]: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
23 Make a chain [rattowq – only used elsewhere in 1 Kings 6:21, where it a “chain” overlayed {tsaphah} with gold, desired worldly value, that hides the true treasure within {the ‘abar – the way to pass over from death into life} in the oracle {the holy of holies, in the LORD’s presence manifested in the conversation}]: for the land is full of bloody crimes [mishpat – a judgment against truth tellers], and the city is full of violence [chamac – against this word of God].
24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses [as I have]: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled [as they are: Isaiah 28:8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.].
25 Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
26 Mischief [hovah, from havah] shall come upon mischief [hovah], and rumor [shmuw’ah – this voice of Jehovah heard, in this time of ignorance, and not yet believed] shall be upon rumor [shmuw’ah – His voice teaching, precept upon precept, line upon line] then shall they seek a vision of the [false] prophet[s]; but the law shall perish from the priest[s], and counsel from the ancients [zaqen – all now the robbers who’ve put themselves in My place]. [The word hovah, referring to the effects of the strong delusion the LORD has sent upon the insane, only appears one other time, in Isaiah 47:11, saying “Therefore shall evil come upon you; you shall not know from whence it rises: and mischief {hovah} shall fall upon you; you shall not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know {because you’ve been chained in your own ignorance}.”]
27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land [‘erets – the earth] shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts [mishpat – according to their corrupt judgment, by the precedent of their evil shall the evil judge them, and thereby] will I judge [shaphat] them; and they shall know that I Am the LORD

Ezekiel 8 begins with Ezekiel realizing the hand of the LORD was upon Him, giving him His vision: to understand the abominations: imagery created in the darkness. The word “imagery” in the title verse (Ezekiel 8:12) is the six times used Hebrew word maskiyth, which asks and answers what (ma) skiyth, with affinity to the once used word sek, meaning pricks, and the seven times used word shayith, meaning “a wild growth of weeds or briers:– thorns.”

The verse (Ezekiel 8:12) tells us these (abominations created by the misleaders and deceivers that have overgrown the unattended garden) are the “chambers” where these men (ancients) are seen. The word “chambers” is the Hebrew word cheder, meaning it’s the bed-chambers, the innermost thoughts, in which these men sleep in the dark.

Ezekiel 8
11 And there stood before them seventy men [all the leaders of God’s people] of the ancients [zaqen] of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah [Jehovah hears {these men and knows they are unrepentant}] the son of Shaphan [who hide these treasures in their darkness], with every man his censer [with strange fire] in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up [speaking their understanding that isn’t].
12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients [zaqen] of the house of Israel do in the dark [the things in which their ignorance is revealed], every man [sleeping in death] in the [bed] chambers of his imagery [their sek and shayith]? for they say, the LORD sees us not; the LORD has forsaken [‘azab – left] the earth.
13 He said also unto me, Turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations that they do.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’s house which was toward the north [tsaphown – the darkness in which these treasures are hidden]; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz [only used here, Strong’s saying it’s of uncertain derivation, while the Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon says it means “sprout of life,” as in the “tender plant” of Isaiah 53:2 and the tender branch of Matthew 24:32, that here and now puts forth its leaves – Its affinity is to the word timmahown, said to mean astonishment, and deconstructs into: Tim ma {is that} hamown, as in Isaiah 33:3, saying “At the noise {qowl – voice} of the tumult {hamown} the people fled; at the lifting up of yourself the nations were scattered.”].
15 Then said he unto me, Have you seen this, O son of man? turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations than these.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty [ancient] men [of Judah], with their backs toward the temple [not seeing, facing, the presence] of the LORD, and their faces toward the east [looking to their own understanding for His appearing]; and they worshipped the sun [the corruption of the dead body of Christ] toward the east.
17 Then he said unto me, Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land [‘erets – the earth] with violence [chamac – wrong, their errors by which the drain life from humanity], and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose [ignorantly thinking they’re pleasing God, and therefore protected from His judgment].
18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: my eye shall not spare [I will not turn from His vision, nor surrender to the corrupt], neither will I have pity: and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

Proverbs 26
1 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honor is not seemly [nav’eh – suitable] for a fool.
2 As the bird [believing they have risen with understanding] by wandering [away from the LORD], as the swallow by flying, so the curse [the reward earned by fools who think they are the wise] causeless shall not come.
3 A whip for the horse [making him run the course of the rider], a bridle [controlling the mouth] for the ass, and a rod [of correction] for the fool’s back.
4 Answer not a fool according to his folly [you do if you accept his false premise], lest you also be [a fool] like unto him.
5 Answer a fool according to his folly [not accepting his false premise], lest he be wise in his own conceit.
6 He that sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts off the feet [and the message is undermined], and drinks [brings upon his cause] damage.
7 The legs of the lame are not equal [and he therefore strays from his course]: so is a parable in the mouth of fools [misinterpreted].
8 As he that binds a stone in a sling, so is he that gives honor to a fool [hinders his own cause when pointing out his foolishness].
9 As a thorn goes up into the hand of a drunkard [unknown], so is a parable [unknowable] in the mouths of fools.
10 The great God that formed all things both rewards the fool [with his own foolishness], and rewards transgressors [with his own transgression].
11 As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly [even after it is proven to be foolishness].
12 See you a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him [who is incorrigibly blinded by his pride].
13 The slothful man says [looking for any reason not to obey the LORD’s commands], There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets.
14 As the door turns upon his hinges [going nowhere], so does the slothful upon his bed [remaining in a deep sleep, from which he is called to awaken].
15 The slothful hides his hand in his bosom [refusing to work]; it grieves him to bring it again to his mouth [to eat and speaks as he is commanded].
16 The sluggard [never diligently seeking, because they ignorantly believe they already know all] is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason [why he should look and see].

Numbers 33
50 And the LORD spoke unto Moses [those drawn from the water of death] in the plains of Moab [when these men’s mouths are plainly seen as the gates of hell holding humanity there in death] by Jordan [their words seen as what has carried all in the descent into death] near Jericho [where their protective wall of corruption falls when God people open their mouths and speak the words He’s put therein], saying,
51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When you are passed over [‘abar – from death into life] Jordan [in victory over the words of death and hell] into the land [‘erets – the earth] of Canaan [those possessing it, humiliated when they’ve realized the fools they’ve chosen to be];
52 Then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land [‘erets – the earth] from before [paniym – by manifesting the LORD’s presence in you, in His word from] you, and destroy all their pictures [maskiyth – the creations, abominations from thorns and briers], and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places [bamah]:
53 And you shall dispossess [freeing the world from the evil possessing it] the inhabitants of the land [‘erets – the earth], and dwell therein: for I have given you the land [‘erets – the earth] to possess it.
54 And you shall divide the land [‘erets – the earth] by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.
55 But if you will not drive out the [evil] inhabitants of the land [‘erets – the earth] from before [paniym – by manifesting My presence in] you; then it shall come to pass, that those which you let remain of them shall be pricks [sek – the only time it appears] in your eyes [and you will not see as I see], and thorns in your sides [enemies mixed among you, against you], and shall vex you in the land [‘erets – the earth] wherein you dwell.
56 Moreover it shall come to pass [when you become evil as they are evil], that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

Isaiah 5
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard [you have corrupted and filled with rebels].
4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I [here present speaking and working unknown to the ignorant] have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes [rebels]?
5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge [protection] thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down [mirmac]:
6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns [shayith]: I will also command the clouds [where understanding, these treasures in My word, are when they left the earth] that they rain no rain upon it.
7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
8 Woe unto them that join [corrupt] house to [corrupt] house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone [uncorrupted] in the midst of the earth!
9 In my ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine [of their wild grapes] inflame them!
12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, [all their corrupted words] are in their feasts: but they [being ignorant of His manner] regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and [without this word] their honorable men are famished, and [without this understanding from the cloud] their multitude dried up with thirst.
14 Therefore hell has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth [speaking their own words] without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it [hell].
15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty [seeing nothing worth anything] shall be humbled:
16 But the LORD of hosts [I Am, a man of just war] shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Isaiah7
22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey [by which they’ve learned to choose good and refuse evil] shall every one eat that is left [yathar – remain, when the sons of perdition do not] in the land [‘erets – the earth].
23 And it shall come to pass in that day [when this light has come], that every place shall be, where there were [in the old earth] a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers [deceivers] and thorns [shayith – misleaders].
24 With arrows and with bows [these word against evil] shall men come thither; because all the land [‘erets – the old and corrupt earth] shall become briers [deceivers] and thorns [shayith – ruled by misleaders].
25 And on all hills [governments] that shall be digged [‘adar – order restored, removing the overgrowth] with the mattock [ma’der – a vineyard hoed and weeded], there shall not come thither the fear of briers [deceivers] and thorns [shayith – misleaders]: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen [doing this work of the LORD in the earth, the third face of the unfolding presence of the LORD manifested], and for the treading of lesser cattle [mirmac – as in Isaiah 5:5 above].

The next appearance of the word shayith comes in Isaiah 9:18, after the chapter begins by speaking of this word sent to Jacob, and saying, of those upon whom this light has lighted, they are (spiritual) Israel. We are then told of others upon whom darkness remains, claiming they will rebuild the ruin of the earth they destroyed. The LORD sets adversaries against these rebels, smiting them because they are refusing His correction and choose their own old and corrupt ways.

Isaiah 9
13 For the people turn not unto him that smites them, neither do they [diligently] seek the LORD of hosts.
14 Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
15 The ancient [zaqen] and honorable, he is the head; and the prophet that teaches lies, he is the tail [what results when the head, the leaders, are corrupt].
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
17 Therefore the LORD shall have no joy in their young men [who offer strange fire], neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows [who have no head to lead them]: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
18 For wickedness burns as the fire: it shall devour the briers [deceivers] and thorns [shayith – misleaders], and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
19 Through the wrath [this word they refuse] of the LORD of hosts is the land [‘erets – the earth] darkened [become covered in ignorance of the LORD], and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.
20 And he shall snatch [gazar – cut off, refuse this word] on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat [their own words] on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm [consuming themselves with their own mouths]:
21 Manasseh [those who’ve forgotten God], Ephraim [and doubly ruined: church and state]; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah [the elect remnant]. For all this his [the LORD’s] anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Jeremiah 31
17 And there is hope in your end [‘achariyth – these last days, this appointed time of the congregation], says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border [gbuwl – this limit, where the proud waves of evil men are stayed].
18 I have surely heard [shama’ – heard the LORD’s voice and obey Him] Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised [corrected] me, and I was chastised [corrected], as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke [as an ox unaccustomed to be joined with the LORD in His work]: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God.
19 Surely after [‘achar – those days of correction] that I was turned, I repented [of the corruption]; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed [of the childish things], yea, even confounded [realized to be without deep understanding], because I did bear the reproach of my youth [before I put away childish things and became a man].
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.
21 Set you up waymarks, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
22 How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman [backsliding daughter become a woman] shall compass a man.
23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity [when I again possess their minds]; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain [governments of church and state] of holiness.

Psalms 118
18 The LORD has chastened [corrected] me sore: but he has not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates [the mouths from where His voice is heard] of righteousness: I [leaving hell] will go into them [into heaven], and I will praise the LORD:
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise you: for you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
22 The stone [from where His word flows] which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in [opening] our eyes.
24 This is the day [time of light] which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now [Hosanna], I beseech you, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech you, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that comes in the name [declaring the identity] of the LORD [without saying this no man will see God the Father in the son He send in His name]: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

The final two uses of the word shayith come in Isaiah 10:17 and 27:4.

Isaiah 10
1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
3 And what will you do in the day of visitation [pquddah {from paqad, the vitiation in this appointed time}], and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will you flee for help? and where will you leave your glory?

17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers [shayith – misleaders and deceivers] in one day;
18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer [nacac] faints [macac – melts away].
19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob [the name of all Israel {Ephraim and Judah} when they were still unknowingly wrestling with God], shall no more again stay upon him that smote them [the neglectful thorns and briers whose leadership is the root of the problem]; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption [killayown] decreed [charats] shall overflow with righteousness.
23 For the LORD God of hosts shall make a consumption [kalah], even determined [charats], in the midst of all the land [‘erets – the earth].
24 Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, O my people that dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian [the communists still infesting and corrupting institutions of church and state]: he shall smite you with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt [oppression].
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation [za’am] shall cease [kalah], and my anger in their destruction.
26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian [those who cause endless strife among God’s people] at the rock of Oreb [whose kings trust in ignorance and darkness they’ve caused]: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt [and these waters, as fire from my mouth, shall consume them, as decreed – after the anointing {machach – “until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate”} which is the final step before we rise as ONE BODY].
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden [the enemies in power, communist oppressors, mixed among us] shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke [joining God people with them] from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing [shemem].
28 He is come to Aiath [the heap of ruin], he is passed to Migron [the precipice]; at Michmash [where it is hidden] he has laid up [paqad – reserved for this appointed time of My visitation] his carriages [to take the wicked out of the way]:
29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba [the high places of power]; Ramah [this time when men who make themselves gods] is afraid; Gibeah of Saul [the high ones the people desired] is fled.
30 Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim [of these springs of living waters]: cause it to be heard unto Laish [as the roar of a Lion], O poor [‘aniy – humble] Anathoth [who’ve heard the LORD].
31 Madmenah [the dunghill – when the high places are full of it] is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim [those who’ve poisoned, polluted with dung, the well] gather themselves to flee.
32 As yet shall he remain at Nob [in their high places] that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the LORD, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down [with the sword of the LORD and of Gideon {the man of War, and the hewer of the powerful}], and the haughty shall be humbled.
34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon [the so-called upright in high places, the corrupt who think they are pure by their own twisted and perverted definitions] shall fall by a mighty one.

Isaiah 27
1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish [paqad – visit as the Chief Overseer of the earth] leviathan [those to which the people are joined] the piercing [bariyach] serpent [as misleaders among them], even leviathan [Levi – the priesthood] that crooked serpent [as thorns and briers]; and he [the LORD with us] shall slay the dragon [tanniyn – the whale, the open mouths of men that carried all humanity into the belly of hell and holds it therein – or the crocodile, death lurking below the surface of these men’s words, in their rivers] that is in the sea [that flows to the people].
2 In that day sing [repeat these words] you unto her, A vineyard of red wine [to change their minds].
3 I the LORD do keep it [the earth]; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
4 Fury is not in me: who would set the briers [deceivers] and thorns [shayith – misleaders] against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
5 Or let him take hold of my strength [this understanding], that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

Psalms 74
1 O God, why have you cast us off forever? why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?
2 Remember your congregation, which you have purchased of old; the rod of your inheritance, which you have redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein you have dwelt.
3 Lift up your feet [reveal the manner of Your rising] unto the perpetual desolations [masshuw’ah – only used here and in Psalms 73:18 where it’s defined as the end, the final condition of God’s people in these last days]; even all that the enemy has done wickedly [destroying all understanding] in the sanctuary.
4 Your enemies roar [as if they are speaking for the LORD] in the midst of your congregations; they set up their [false] ensigns for signs.
5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
6 But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
7 They have cast fire into your sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of your name to the ground.
8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues [and churches] of God in the land [‘erets – the earth].
9 We see not our [false] signs: there is no more any prophet [speaking this word of God]: neither is there among us any that knows how long.
10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
11 Why withdraw you your hand, even your right hand [revealing Your presence in Your power]? pluck it out of your bosom.
12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 You did divide the sea by your strength: you broke the heads of the dragons [who, like serpents and whales, are with wide open mouths devouring God’s people] in the waters [with their words].
14 You broke the heads of leviathan [the rivers from whom flows false interpretations, by which Satan works in Your sanctuary] in pieces, and gave [this understanding of] him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
15 You did cleave [rightly divide] the fountain and the flood [of Your word]: you dried up mighty rivers [of the wicked].
16 The day [this time when light has come] is yours, the night [my people even while they remain ignorant of Me] also is yours: you have prepared the light and the sun [understanding to be sent unto the Church again].
17 You have set all the borders of the earth [ending the old and beginning the new]: you have made summer and winter [changing seasons].
18 Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed your name [Your identity of which they are ignorant].
19 O deliver not the soul of your turtledove [towr] unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of your poor [all God’s people without strength or power] forever.
20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark [ignorant] places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise your name.
22 Arise, O God, plead your own cause: remember how the foolish man reproached you daily.
23 Forget not the voice of your enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against you increase continually.

Matthew 24
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines [phaino] even unto the west [shining this understanding upon all]; so shall also the coming of the Son of man [the first face manifesting the the unfolding presence of God] be.
28 For wheresoever the carcass [the dead body of Christ] is, there will the eagles [the fourth and final face manifesting the unfolding presence of God in those risen into heaven with Him] be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened [the church institutions realized to be without this understanding], and the moon [civil government institution] shall not give her light [also without this knowledge of God], and the stars shall fall from heaven [God’s people also realized to be lacking this same light], and the powers of the heavens [the places where understanding should be and isn’t] shall be shaken [to shake the wicked from them]:
30 And then shall appear [phaino – this enlightening] the sign of the Son of man in heaven [risen with full understanding, in which the presence of the Father is perceived]: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn [realizing they are separated from the Father by the ignorance into which they have been led], and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven [from where this understanding is perceived: received by supernatural transmission] with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels [as I send you] with a great sound of a trumpet [calling all to gather into the LORD’s ONE BODY with Him], and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds [where they have been scattered], from one end of heaven to the other [away from corrupt understanding into this new heaven and earth, the corner stone of which the Father has laid].

Psalms 73 and 74 above are Psalms of Asaph, meaning they are written to those sent to gather God’s people, as I send you, as I Am sent, as in Matthew 24:30 & 31 above.

Psalms 73
1 Truly God is good to Israel [His people who by faith receive this promised end], even to such as are of a clean [bar – pure] heart [by which man sees, perceives, God, as it is written in Matthew 5:8].
2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped [into backsliding].
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked [in power over church and state].
4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6 Therefore pride compasses them about as a chain; violence covers them as a garment.
7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
9 They set their mouth against the heavens [all truthful discourse], and their tongue walks through the earth.
10 Therefore his people return here [into the ruin and ashes from where they were created]: and waters of a full cup [this word by which they were created] are wrung out to them.
11 And they say, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the Most High?
12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
13 Truly I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence.
14 For all the day long have I been plagued [by the wicked], and chastened [by this correction from the Father] every morning.
15 If I say, I will speak thus [as the LORD commands]; behold, I should offend against the generation of your children.
16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God [into His presence]; then understood I their end [‘achariyth – that these are the last days].
18 Surely you did set them in slippery places: you cast them down into destruction [masshuw’ah].
19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20 As a dream when one awakes [and realizes the thoughts in his mind weren’t real]; so, O LORD, when you awake, you shall despise their image [the creations of men’s minds, which aren’t true].
21 Thus my heart [foundational mind] was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins [deepest thoughts taught].
22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before you [without Your mind: Spirit].
23 Nevertheless I am continually with you: you have holden me by my right hand [leading back to the right way].
24 You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward [after correction] receive me to glory [as Your child].
25 Whom have I in heaven but you? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside you.
26 My flesh and my heart [mind] fails: but God is the strength of my heart [understanding mind], and my portion forever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from you [LORD] shall perish: you have destroyed all them that go a whoring from you.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the LORD God, that I may [with opened mouth] declare all your works.
