Today I am going to reveal a secret only I know, along with maybe a few who have been with me from the beginning. It is of course a continuation of our daily conversation with the LORD, and part of His ongoing revelation of Himself, as He interrupts our mortal ignorance by enlightening us into resurrection from darkness.
(In one of the comments to the prior post, a woman said she believed when the LORD says He is going to darken the sun and the moon, and withdraw the stars, it is going to literally happen. Therefor she said she disagreed with the post. Here is the response as I posted it: “The LORD isn’t asking for your opinion, so please express your desire to continue in ignorance on you own page, and leave us to the truth. Thank you very much. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” Is the darkness the LORD speaks of literal, or a state that existed in the mind?)
As those who study along here know, the Greek word that appears in John 3:19, and in the parenthetical statement above, translated “condemnation,” is krisis, meaning a decision point. In context, we know it is speaking of “condemnation” being self-inflicted, by making the wrong decision to stay in darkness, which also then becomes the self-inflicted sentence.
Here is the darkness that the whole world lies in, even those hearing my words as the Words of the Father who sent me.
In Luke 11 we read of the LORD speaking of a generation such as ours, seeking a sign, such as a literal darkening of the sun and the moon, and the stars falling from their place in the heavens. In doing they know not that they themselves are showing darkness, and choosing to remain in it, and thereby refusing to let the light that is in them shine. This is the light the LORD raises up, the light in us, as it is in Him, so that the whole world would see the light and repent (change) from their evil and leave ignorance’s darkness. This is the truth of what the LORD is saying when he says the following in Luke 11:
28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonah the prophet.
30 For as Jonah was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
32 The men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.
33 No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
34 The light of the body is the eye [how we see things with our mind’s eye]: therefore when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light; but when your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness.
35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.
36 If your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle does give you light.
What part of, “31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. 32 The men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.” don’t you understand? It is said and meant to be understood as the LORD stated it saying, “33 No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.”
So, those calling themselves the church will choose to remain in the darkness created by those who have led them there. They will reject the call of the sounding trumpet, ignore the alarm of war and the call to bring their light to the battle against darkness. They have created their own crisis, by their choice, and this is the condemnation. They have chosen their own end, and are ignorant of it.
But I digress: the secret is the name only I know, or more accurately, only I know what is meant when it is spoken of in Revelation 19:13, saying, “His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.”
This is speaking of the new name, mentioned in Revelation 2:17 as being in the white stone the LORD gives those who He has also given the hidden manna. The word here translated “hidden” is the same word used when the LORD tells above of no man lighting a candle so it can shine its light, and then puts it in “secret” where it can’t be seen.
The manna is the bread of heaven, that we know from the LORD’s teaching is the word of God made flesh and sent into the world to give eternal life to those who eat it. This is the same thing we are told of in John 1 of the light that comes into the world as the word of God, and makes children of God of those who receive it.
John 6
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent.
30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shew you then, that we may see, and believe you? what do you work?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which comes down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, LORD, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That you also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father’s will which has sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
When John speaks of the “white” stone, he uses a word written in the original text as leuken, from the word luke, meaning light. The word rendered “stone” is a word only used three time, twice in Revelation 2:17, and once in Acts 26:10 when Paul is telling of his, in the past, giving a sentence against those believing in Christ: there rendered, “I gave my voice against.”
The word is psephos, and it is telling of the choice made, the same choice we have already discussed. In Revelation 2 it is telling of those choosing the light, and in their choice finding the name. Here is the full verse, “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving [except] he that receives it.”
We see the full verse speaks of those who receive it knowing the name; and they also receive the hidden manna, the same word of God we are told of in John 1, and those receiving it/Him becoming the children of God.
In Revelation 19 we read of the one having the name that only he knows, we also read in the same verse of his eyes being as flames of fire. The same light in him the LORD spoke of in Luke 11 as he told of the light of the body being the eye, and therefore when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light. This is telling of the one single person (body) with eyes that see as the LORD sees.
The references to this are many, and we can first look at it as the crown placed upon the head of the son of man at His coming, as we are told in Revelation 19, of the one later called the King of kings and LORD of lords, and having many crowns upon His head.
This is speaking of the LORD who is in me, and the name I know is His. The Spirit of God alive in me is Named Jesus, and it is He that sends me in His name with Jehovah’s Salvation. And to as many as receive this light/manna/word of God, in which He says we are His sons and daughter, He has placed His name upon us to show we are His children. Choose life, and come out of the houses of darkness.
Revelation 19
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See you do it not: I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And LORD Of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
2 Timothy 2
1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit you to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
3 You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that labors must be first partaker of the fruits.
7 Consider what I say; and the LORD give you understanding in all things.
8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the LORD that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17 And their word will eat as does a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The LORD knows them that are his. And, let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the LORD out of a pure heart.
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strife.
24 And the servant of the LORD must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
The passage above saying, “The LORD knows them that are his. And, let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity,” is alluding to the day when the LORD showed that Moses was speaking on His behalf, and the people were called out from the houses of those speaking against him.
Numbers 19
23 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
26 And he spoke unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.
27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
28 And Moses said, Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD has not sent me.
30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then you shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
