I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: you that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence.
Friends, “of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.” This quote, Ecclesiastes 12:12, comes as Solomon describes a time such as this when much is written without any effect on the sleeping and still silent readers. “Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.”
Ecclesiastes 12
1 Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shall say, I have no pleasure in them;
2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain [as now when there is no understanding in the earth: it lacking in the church, government, and God’s people, the elements of understanding, sent as the early and latter rain, have returned to heaven where they are held as if in the cloud]:
3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble [be in fear as they are now], and the strong men shall bow themselves [to Babylon, the confusion that now rules the world into mass delusion], and the grinders [the work of God’s people] cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened [those who should see what is coming and has come, are ignorant of it],
4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of music shall be brought low [how can we sing the songs of joy by the rivers of Babylon];
5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high [the wicked in power, as they are], and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish [when this word springs forth as first life], and the grasshopper [and the devourers] shall be a burden [because they devour the springs of life], and desire shall fail: because man goes to his long home [death], and the mourners go about the streets:
6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed [the house, the body, fall to the ground, in death], or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern [and there is famine and drought for this life-giving word, this manna, bread and waters, this word of God].
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth [which has become “without form, and void”] as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
8 Vanity of vanities [the worthlessness of the worthless], says the preacher; all is vanity [all the world is worthless].
9 And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
As we know, verse 13 above is the subtle but weighty influence in this nation’s founding. It’s partially repeated in the title of the book, The Whole Duty of Man, According to the Law of Nature, written 1673 AD, by Samuel Von Pufendorf. Widely read by the founders, it’s the basis of paragraph 1 of the Declaration of Independence’s preamble stating what entitles us to live free and separate from despotic tyranny.
The whole one-sentence paragraph says, “WHEN in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”
As we know (because we’ve studied it), the law of nature is later stated as “self-evident” truth, proven by the repetitious result occurring in the experience of human interaction. They are laws that, if violated, result in the destruction of peace and civilization in human relationships.
The agreement between (civilized and friendly) people, is to live under these laws, which are also written in the law of God, and to teach them to our offspring. When, as in the time of the founders (as in a state nature, in the void where there is no law or where law becomes so perverted its essential elements: securing life, liberty, and property, no longer exist) those knowing these laws, even seeing their truth manifested in the current events experienced, continually, willfully, and incorrigibly violate them, the only remaining solution is separation. (As we know, this law of separation is the foundation of incarceration in civil law, and in God’s law, it’s the eternal separation into hell of those knowingly destroying the peace, and the peaceful into rest in His kingdom of peace – heavenly Jerusalem.)
As we know, President Calvin Coolidge, in his speech of July 5, 1926, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, mentions Pufendorf as one of those the founders studied. His context was in urging all to follow the same path they followed, learning what they learned, from history and from God, and in doing likewise reach the same end, the same Conclusions they reached.
Ecclesiastes 12
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Here (again) are the final two paragraphs of President Coolidge’s speech:
“Under a system of popular government there will always be those who will seek for political preferment by clamoring for reform. While there is very little of this which is not sincere, there is a large portion that is not well informed. In my opinion very little of just criticism can attach to the theories and principles of our institutions. There is far more danger of harm than there is hope of good in any radical changes. We do need a better understanding and comprehension of them and a better knowledge of the foundations of government in general. Our forefathers came to certain conclusions and decided upon certain courses of action which have been a great blessing to the world. Before we can understand their conclusions we must go back and review the course which they followed. We must think the thoughts which they thought. Their intellectual life centered around the meeting-house. They were intent upon religious worship. While there were always among them men of deep learning, and later those who had comparatively large possessions, the mind of the people was not so much engrossed in how much they knew, or how much they had, as in how they were going to live. While scantily provided with other literature, there was a wide acquaintance with the Scriptures. Over a period as great as that which measures the existence of our independence they were subject to this discipline not only in their religious life and educational training, but also in their political thought. They were a people who came under the influence of a great spiritual development and acquired a great moral power.
No other theory is adequate to explain or comprehend the Declaration of Independence. It is the product of the spiritual insight of the people. We live in an age of science and of abounding accumulation of material things. These did not create our Declaration. Our Declaration created them. The things of the spirit come first. Unless we cling to that, all our material prosperity, overwhelming though it may appear, will turn to a barren scepter in our grasp. If we are to maintain the great heritage which has been bequeathed to us, we must be like-minded as the fathers who created it. We must not sink into a pagan materialism. We must cultivate the reverence which they had for the things that are holy. We must follow the spiritual and moral leadership which they showed. We must keep replenished, that they may glow with a more compelling flame, the altar fires before which they worshiped.”
For those who don’t know, Coolidge was making His remarks concerning the communists, calling themselves progressives, who were infiltrating our institution and progressively changing them toward communism. These are the same evil misleaders in our time (the Communist Democrat Party and their allies foreign and domestic), who’ve changed our laws into meaningless words, altering them into allowing any evil deed they commit. Because of this, a state of nature now exists and the world has again become “without form, and void.”
Jeremiah 4
1 If you will return, O Israel, says the LORD, return unto me: and if you will put away your abominations out of my sight, then shall you not remove.
2 And you shall swear, The LORD lives, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.
3 For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground [till again where is planted corruption], and sow not among thorns [misleaders who’ve grown in this state of neglect].
4 Circumcise yourselves [remove your flesh-based minds] to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
5 Declare you in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow you the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defensed cities.
6 Set up the standard [nec, raise the pole upon which the son of man must be lifted, as Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness] toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north [hidden in ignorance], and a great destruction.
7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make your land desolate; and your cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
8 For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.
9 And it shall come to pass at that day, says the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.
10 Then said I, Ah, LORD God! surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have peace; whereas the sword reaches unto the soul.
11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,
12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.
13 Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.
14 O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts lodge within you?
15 For a voice declares from Dan [judgment], and publishes affliction from mount Ephraim [upon the drunkards who lead God’s people at large].
16 Make you mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.
17 As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she has been rebellious against me, says the LORD.
18 Your way and your doings have procured these things unto you; this is your wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reaches unto your heart.
19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart makes a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because you have heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
20 Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.
21 How long shall I see the standard [nec – the pole on which the serpent is raised, showing the way], and hear the sound of the trumpet [His voice]?
22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form [tohuw], and void [bohuw]; and the heavens, and they had no light [the now destroyed world, the ruin upon which the LORD builds the new, and raises man to life from its ashes].
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27 For thus has the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
28 For this shall the earth mourn [‘abal], and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
29 The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.
30 And when you are spoiled, what will you do? Though you clothe yourself with crimson, though you deck you with ornaments of gold, though you rent your face with painting, in vain shall you make yourself fair; your lovers will despise you, they will seek your life.
31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that brings forth her first [man] child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewails herself, that spreads her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers [who seek to kill any man refusing to bow to their power].
When Jeremiah used the word natsar, rendered “watchers” in verse 16 above, it’s referring us to his only other use, in Jeremiah 31:6, telling of these last days when the “watchmen” of Ephraim cry, “Arise you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.” This quote speaks of when God’s the people again sing for joy when they leave confusion’s rule and returning to Him. As we know, this chapter tells of the new covenant the LORD will make with His people. It’s now when everyone will know Him, when He teaches us His ideas and ways, writing His laws in our minds.
Jeremiah 30
5 For thus says the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask you now, and see whether a man does travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
8 For it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, says the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
11 For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end of you: but I will correct you in measure, and will not leave you altogether unpunished.
12 For thus says the LORD, Your bruise is incurable, and your wound is grievous.
13 There is none to plead your cause, that thou may be bound up: thou have no healing medicines.
14 All your lovers have forgotten you; they seek you not; for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of your iniquity; because your sins were increased.
15 Why cry thou for your affliction? your sorrow is incurable for the multitude of your iniquity: because your sins were increased, I have done these things unto you.
16 Therefore all they that devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil you shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon you will I give for a prey.
17 For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.
18 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwelling-places; and the city shall be built upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? says the LORD.
22 And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he has done it, and until he has performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it.
Jeremiah 31
1 At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
2 Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
3 The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.
4 Again I will build you, and thou shall be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shall again be adorned with your tabrets, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
5 Thou shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria [where idols were in their watch stations, false teachers and false prophets keeping watch, misleading, saying they saw what they haven’t seen]: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen [natsar] upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God [returning to Him after putting away their idols, coming out of confusion, and away from tribulation].
7 For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish you, praise you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country [darkness], and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travail with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters [the waters of Shiloah and Shiloh] in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my [Joseph’s] firstborn [in these last days].
10 Hear the word of the LORD, O you nations, and declare it in the isles [the dry places that have been without this word of God] afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd [the one spoken of in Genesis 49:24, who is also the Stone, Shiloh from where the living waters shall flow] does his flock.
11 For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.
15 Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping [by the rivers of Babylon] for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not [because Joseph isn’t yet].
16 Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in your end, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou are the LORD my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.
21 Set you up waymarks, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which thou went: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
22 How long will thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
27 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, says the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves [the pride of the ignorant] thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.
Isaiah 62
1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns.
2 And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and thou shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
3 Thou shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 Thou shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
6 I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: you that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give your corn to be meat for your enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink your wine, for the which thou have labored:
9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare you the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say you to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
Proverbs 30
1 The words of Agur [to those the LORD has gathered] the son of Jakeh [who He declares blamless], even the prophecy: the man spoke unto Ithiel [God is with me {Immanuel}], even unto Ithiel [God is with me {Immanuel}] and Ucal [and you shall eat {this feast of charity}],
2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
4 Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who has established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou can tell?
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove you, and thou be found a liar.
7 Two things have I required of you; deny me them not before I die:
8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny you, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse you, and thou be found guilty.
11 There is a generation that curses [the wisdom and knowledge] their father, and does not bless their mother [for her teaching, this nourishment, milk as the necessary basics].
12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness [what they know is corrupt, and they are ignorant and ignorant of it].
13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
14 There is a generation, whose teeth [words] are as swords, and their jaw teeth [words] as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
15 The horse-leach has two daughters [the leaches that attach to the mouth of the horses when they drink from their waters, to drain their blood, life, from them], crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough [they will keep going until they, like locust, devour everything]:
16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that says not, It is enough.
17 The eye that mocks at his father [father’s wisdom], and despises to obey his mother [mother’s teaching the foundations], the ravens [the covering of darkness, ignorance] of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it [shall devour the ignorant].
18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.
20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.
21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
22 For a servant when he reigns; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
23 For an odious woman when she is married; and a handmaid that is heir to her mistress.
24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.
29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turns not away for any;
31 A greyhound; he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.
32 If thou have done foolishly in lifting up yourself, or if thou have thought evil, lay your hand upon your mouth.
33 Surely the churning of milk brings forth butter, and the wringing of the nose brings forth blood: so the forcing of wrath brings forth strife. [Through long-suffering, persistence, understand will eventually congeal into richness, and then will they know to refuse the evil advice and choose the good.]
Psalms 137
1 By the rivers of Babylon [the words flowing mass delusion that controls the world], there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion [when we were under God].
2 We hanged our harps upon the willows [we didn’t make sounds of joy] in the midst thereof.
3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song [required us to “be happy” under their oppression]; and they that wasted [destroyed] us required of us mirth, saying, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion [showing our rule is as “good” as under God].”
4 How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a strange land [controlled by foreign and domestic communist enemies]?
5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem [the land taught and founded on God’s better ways and ideas of peace], let my right hand forget her cunning [mental acuity – now lost by most, because they have forgotten God, and His better ideas and ways of peace].
6 If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom [the enemies now mixed among us destroying us and our nation] in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it [burn it to the ground], rase it [burn it all], even to the foundation thereof.
8 O daughter of Babylon [of confusion now turned delusion, who now control the world and all information that flows to the people at large], who are to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewards you as thou have served us. [Selah!]
9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dashes your little ones against the stones.
