Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
The tears above are the LORD’s expressing sorrow over His people choosing destruction rather than turning to Him with the fruit described (in Matthew 21) in the previous posts. The result is described in answer to its (the previous post’s) title verse (40), which asked what the (evil misleading) husbandmen think the LORD will do to them when He comes.
Matthew 21
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
As we saw, the stone is of the “corner” (gonia – pinnah), the LORD leading in a different direction, a new nation. We saw Him, quoting from Psalms 118:22, speaking of Himself as “the stone which the builders rejected,” the same that “is become the head of the corner.” In the same quote, He tells of this occurring by His doing a marvelous work in opening our eyes, which we know speaks of understanding that miraculously flows directly from God the Father.
Mathew 21
40 When the LORD therefore of the vineyard comes, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did you never read in the scriptures, “The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the LORD’s doing, and it is marvelous in [opening] our eyes?”
The verses before and after the quote, in Psalms 118, tell of the LORD entering the gates of righteousness (in the new heaven and earth), when His people say “Blessed is He that comes in the name of the LORD.” His tears above are in response to the choice He knew they (His nation) would make, repeating their (the national institution, the powers in church and state) mistake, and rejecting Him again.
They should hear the word of the LORD, which He again speaks against them in warning:
Matthew 23
31 Wherefore you be witnesses unto yourselves, that you are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill you up then the measure of your fathers.
33 You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias [those who Jehovah remembers, born again by His second blessing], whom [those spoken of in the previous verse] you slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Truly I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings [to protect and teach], and you would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate [because you reject this protection and teaching].
39 For I say unto you, You shall not see [not understand, because of your rejection] me henceforth, till you shall say, “Blessed is he that comes in the name of the LORD.”
The title verse, Jeremiah 9:1, refers to the rejection recounted (reported) in ending the previous chapter. It (the chapter)(Jeremiah 8) begins by telling of the misleaders throughout eternity, gathered here from their grave where they were kept in chains of their own ignorance and blindness. It says their “bones” are spread before the churches (sun) and civil governments (moon), who they’ve served and worshipped. These are misleaders and false prophets, in verse 3, said to be from the “evil family,” who will remain in the place the LORD has driven them, which is death they’ve chosen over life.
Hear the word of the LORD:
Jeremiah 8
1 At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:
2 And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.
4 Moreover you shall say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
5 Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.
6 I hearkened and heard, but they spoke not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rushes into the battle.
7 Yea, the stork in the heaven knows her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.
8 How do you say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one deals falsely.
11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when THERE IS NO PEACE.
12 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination [and put them in My place]? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore, shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
13 I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree [Matthew 21: 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on you henceforward forever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree [nation] withered away! Revelation 6:13 And the {the children of God} stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken {seio} of a mighty wind {of false doctrine}. These are raised up again when the foundation is again laid, in the new kingdom, as “When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” Job 38:7}], and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
14 Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defensed cities [under the LORD’s wing], and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God has put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
15 We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health [because you refuse this balm], and behold trouble!
16 The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan [where judgment is perverted, by the calves they have put in My place]: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land [by claiming peace while they war against us], and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.
17 For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices [whose deadly venom is the deception in their mouths], among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.
18 When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.
19 Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?
20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment has taken hold on me.
22 Is there no balm in Gilead [is there no healing in this word of God]; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
As the LORD asks, through Jeremiah, above in verse 14, “Why do we sit still?” He then calls us to assemble,” into ONE BODY into the war now waged against us.
The word rendered “assemble” is the Hebrew word ‘acaph, meaning “to gather for any purpose; hence, to receive, take away, i.e. [gather to] remove (destroy, leave behind, put up, restore, etc.).” It is the word used in Isaiah 11:12, which we saw in the previous post, where then the LORD says to “assemble” the outcasts, who he also speaks of in Matthew 21.
Matthew 21
34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
Isaiah 11
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for [a sign of the end] an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles [those who haven’t know Me shall diligently] seek: and his rest [and refreshing] shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria [from the hold of the communists], and from Egypt [from the hold of the oppressors], and from Pathros [pithron – from the hold of their false interpretations], and from Cush [from the darkness of their own ignorance], and from Elam [from all eternity], and from Shinar [where they have slept], and from Hamath [when I bring down the wall of lies], and from the islands of the sea [and those, throughout eternity, who haven’t heard My word, shall hear it].
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together [into ONE BODY] the dispersed of Judah [My Elect, the leaders of My people, first] from the four corners of the earth.
13 The envy also of Ephraim [all God’s people at large, upon who this second blessing has come] shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines [to remove the burden brought by the enemies and their strange ways mixed among us] toward the west [they shall go into darkness, leave by their own ignorance]; they shall [leave their] spoil them of the east together [to those who gather into this ONE BODY at the sun rise of the new heaven and earth]: they shall lay their hand upon Edom [the enemies mixed among us] and Moab [whose open mouths are the gates of hell holding us down]; and the children of Ammon [those divided into many fallen away churches] shall obey them [the word of My enlightened people].
15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea [the words holding all humanity into tyranny and oppression]; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river [their means of delivering their lies to the world], and shall smite it in the seven streams [with this word that flows God’s truth], and make men go over dryshod [pass over into life by no longer listening to the words that carried all into death].
16 And there shall be a highway [the LORD’s way] for the [elect] remnant of his people, which shall be left [uncorrupted], from Assyria [by the communists]; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt [by God’s word flowing from His prophet – Moses, who He drew from the corrupt waters of the oppressors].
Deuteronomy 18
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you [Moses], and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.
When Jeremiah tells of our assembling, into ONE BODY, he says it’s entering the “defensed” city, “and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God has put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.”
The word “gall,” from the twelve times used ro’sh, refers to the two other times the word appears in Jeremiah, in Jeremiah 9:15 & 23:15.
Friends, the defensed city is the LORD, here manifested in me, the body He has prepared for Himself. The gathering is away from the old kingdom, corrupted by false prophets and other misleaders, the prominent and respected men of our time, who love to be praised by the enemies mixed among us at war destroying us. He is calling His ONE BODY to join Him, led by me as I follow Him into victory over death and hell. AMEN!
The word “defense” is the Hebrew word mibstar, meaning “a fortification, castle, or fortified city; figuratively, a defender.” It is referring us to its use in Jeremiah 1:18.
Jeremiah 1
4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed you in the belly [of hell] I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb [from the gates of hell] I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, LORD God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child [I am unlearned].
7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child [I am unlearned]: for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatsoever I command you you shall speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you, saith the LORD.
9 Then the LORD put forth his hand [His work, His word effectually working in me], and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
10 See, I have this day set you [My son Timothy] over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah {Jehovah rising in me, to raise His people with His rising], what sees you? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree [from where the first fruits come, I am].
12 Then said the LORD unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
13 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What sees you? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north [ignorance and darkness that covers all the earth, causing it to become as a seething pot].
14 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north [out of its ignorance] an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
15 For, lo, I will call all the [evil] families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem [keeping all out and in hell], and against all the walls [the defense] thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah [of My elect remnant].
16 And I will utter my judgments against them [the evil family] touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
17 You therefore gird up your loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command you: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound you before them.
18 For, behold, I have made you this day a defensed [mibtsar] city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
19 And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you, saith the LORD, to deliver you.
Jeremiah 8
Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?
20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black [my One BODY is in ignorance]; astonishment has taken hold on me [on My ONE BODY].
22 Is there no balm in Gilead [is there no healing in this word of God]; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
Jeremiah 9
1 Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
4 Take you heed every one of his neighbor, and trust you not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanders.
5 And they will deceive every one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
6 Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
7 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaks deceit: one speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in heart he lays his wait.
9 Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
10 For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.
11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.
12 Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perishes and is burned up like a wilderness, that none pass through?
13 And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim [the worthless idols of the world], which their fathers taught them:
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall [ro’sh] to drink.
16 I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.
17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider you, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:
18 And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
19 For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.
20 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O you women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbor lamentation.
21 For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.
22 Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcasses of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.
23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
24 But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD which exercises lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
25 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;
26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.
Jeremiah 23
1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The LORD Our Righteousness.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD live, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 But, The LORD live, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none does return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall [ro’sh]: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.
17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD has said, You shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
18 For who has stood in the counsel of the LORD, and has perceived and heard his word? who has marked his word, and heard it?
19 Behold, a whirlwind [from where His voice is heard] of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it perfectly.
21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
28 The prophet that has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbor.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? you shall then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD [saying this word is a burden, when it is their words that are the burden], I will even punish that man and his house. [Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?]
35 Thus shall you say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What has the LORD answered? and, What has the LORD spoken?
36 And the burden of the LORD shall you mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
37 Thus shall you say to the prophet, What has the LORD answered you? and, What has the LORD spoken?
38 But since you say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because you say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, You shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
Friends, there is a trait, an axiom, common among conmen: the HOAXers of our time in church and state. It says, no matter what, “never give up the con.” In other words, even when caught, they will never admit the truth and instead will attempt to make you believe you don’t really see what you’ve discovered. This is called gaslighting.
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition of gaslighting: psychological manipulation of a person usually over an extended period of time that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, perception of reality, or memories and typically leads to confusion, loss of confidence and self-esteem, uncertainty of one’s emotional or mental stability, and a dependency on the perpetrator.
So, expect the con to continue, no matter what truth is known. COVID is a HOAX, just as much as is the rapture. They both exemplify perversions of small bits of reality, each relying on irrational fear produced by false prophets and gaslighting any who see through the delusion.
Stop listening to those at war against you! They are known liars telling known lies, false accusers falsely accusing the truth and those telling it.
2 Thessalonians 2
7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets [katecho – holds us down] will let, until he be taken out of the way [mesos – out of our midst].
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the LORD shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness [understanding] of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan [resisting and opposing the LORD at His appearing and kingdom] with all power and signs and lying wonders [leading all away from the truth],
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the LORD, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our LORD Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 66
4 I also will choose their delusions [the conmen’s own ways returned upon them, chaining them to their own delusions], and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil [misleading] before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear the word of the LORD, you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out [again – the outcasts] for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompence to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith your God.
10 Rejoice you with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her:
11 That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall you suck, you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
13 As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you [I will lead you into all truth]; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 And when you see [understand] this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Exodus 15
1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.
2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his host has he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
6 Your right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: your right hand, O LORD, has dashed in pieces the enemy.
7 And in the greatness of your excellency you have overthrown them that rose up against you: you sent forth your wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
8 And with the blast of your nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as a heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
10 You did blow with your wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
11 Who is like unto you, O LORD, among the gods? who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
12 You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them.
13 You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation.
Psalms 118
12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
13 You have thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18 The LORD has chastened me sore: but he has not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise you: for you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner [pinnah – gonia].
23 This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in [opening] our eyes [and healing us].
24 This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now [Hosanna], I beseech you, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech you, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
Psalms 11
1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say you to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5 The LORD tries the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hates.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he has executed, and till he has performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it perfectly.
