21 – 24 July 2023
In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
The above, Ezekiel 29:21, refers us to where the LORD beings, in Daniel 3:1, speaking of this day when the false prophets, by their confusion, rule and force all the inhabitants of the world to bow before the image (mass delusion) they’ve created.
As we well know, this historical allegory describes now when any refusing to bow to the many delusions of the day are, by false accusation and pejoratives (racist, homophobic, antisemitic, redneck, etc.), thrown into the fiery furnace of public scorn (and censorship) by the same evil people forcing them upon us.
Daniel 3:1 speak of this image, made by false prophets, as “an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.”
The deconstruction of this portion of the verse first tells us the “image” is (plausibly) of great value and, therefore, (should be) desired by all. It’s set up “in the plain of Dure,” a name only appearing here, from the Chaldee word duwr, only used seven times, all in Daniel, all telling of where all humanity resides (dwells). It is speaking of when all, now, see this image in the plain (baqa’ – opened, plainly set up {quwm – raised into plain sight}).
The size, “height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits,” alludes to it as when the age has come full circle. It’s the “day” spoken of in the title verse, which is earlier, in Ezekiel 29, said to be after Egypt was forty years in the wilderness (this nation in which God’s people suffer in hard bondage under tyrants: the Pharaohs of our time).
In the chapter, the LORD spiritually speaks of oppression (the war against us), of the body in Egypt, of the mind under Babylon, and of spirit by Tyrus (the corrupt church in which men trust), which is with Babylon; all to control the men’s estate (wealth and property).
Ezekiel 29
13 Yet thus says the LORD God; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
14 And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros [from pathar, meaning “to open up, i.e. figuratively, to interpret (a dream),” again connecting it to Daniel, and the time of God’s judgment], into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. [Jeremiah 44: 15 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, 16 As for the word that you have spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken {shama’ – obey} unto you. 17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven {the false church, the rock, Tyrus from where flows wicked misleading, in which God’s people trust}, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no {were blind to} evil.]
15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
16 And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which brings their iniquity to remembrance [as in Jeremiah 44:15 above], when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the LORD God.
17 And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar [the false prophets whose lies misled God’s people into desolation] king of Babylon [the confusion that now rules the world by confusion] caused his army [to now force the delusion upon us] to serve a great service against Tyrus [to destroy false religions men have created, whose dirt upon their heels witness against them]: every head was made bald [unable to think, no cover growing from their heads], and every shoulder was peeled [under the burden of confusion]: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus [the false church that did this for the false prophets], for the service that he had served against it [the minds of God’s people]:
19 Therefore thus says the LORD God; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude [captive in evil’s injustice], and take [by taxation, inflation, debt, and high-interest rates] her spoil, and take her prey [her children, killing them in the womb, and mutilating their minds and bodies before they have learned to refuse the evil and choose the good]; and it shall be the wages for his army.
20 I have given him [the false church in which the captives sit while they wait for perdition] the land of Egypt for his labor wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, says the LORD God.
21 In that day will I cause the horn [the power] of the house of Israel to bud forth [a new nation], and I will give you the opening of the mouth [speaking My words] in the midst of them [the dead, sitting, waiting for their words and ways to save them]; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
The word rendered “breadth,” in Daniel 3:1, when describing the size of the image, is the twice used Chaldee word pthay (pethay), meaning “corresponding to 6601; open, i.e. (as noun) width.” It (with Pathros and pathar) has an affinity to (6601) pathah, meaning “to open, i.e. be (causatively, make) roomy; usually figuratively (in a mental or moral sense) to be (causatively, make) simple or (in a sinister way) delude.” In this word, the LORD speaks to us of the mass delusion of the day: creations of men who force other men to worship it or be persona-non-grata and worthy of annihilation.
The word rendered “image,” only appearing in Daniel 2 & 3, is the Chaldee word tselem, from an almost identical Hebrew word, meaning “to shade; a phantom, i.e. (figuratively) illusion, resemblance; hence, a representative figure, especially an idol.”
This Hebrew word (tselem) is tactically used twice in the Psalms as the LORD speaks to His people at this moment when they must open their minds and break their silence.
Psalms 39
1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from [speaking your] good; and my sorrow was stirred.
3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spoke I with my tongue,
4 LORD, make me to know my end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.
5 Behold, you have made my days as a handbreadth; and my age is as nothing before you: truly every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
6 Surely every man walks in a vain show [tselem]: surely they are disquieted [as the proud waves of the sea] in vain [against the shore]: he heaps up riches, and knows not who shall gather them.
7 And now, LORD, what wait I for? my hope is in you.
8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.
9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because you did it.
10 Remove your stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of your hand.
11 When you with rebukes do correct man for iniquity, you make his beauty [what he desires] to consume away like a moth [‘ash – the grass that withers]: surely every man [speaking his own words] is vanity. Selah.
12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not your peace [be not silent in me, that I may speak your words] at my tears: for I am a stranger with you [not knowing your words or ways], and a sojourner [pilgrim looking for the city of the living God], as all my fathers were.
13 O spare me, that I may recover strength [understanding], before I go hence, and be no more.
Psalms 73
1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength [the power of the dead to bring death] is firm.
5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6 Therefore pride compasses them about as a chain; violence covers them as a garment.
7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
9 They set their mouth against the heavens [against all truth and understanding], and their tongue walketh through the earth.
10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
11 And they say, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the Most High?
12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
13 Truly I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence.
14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of your children.
16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
18 Surely you did set them in slippery places: you cast them down into destruction.
19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20 As a dream when one awakes; so, O LORD, when you awake [when your voice is heard from Your ONE BODY], you shall despise their image [tselem – condemn their delusions].
21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before you [when I realized I was in Your presence without Your Spirit in me].
23 Nevertheless I am continually with you: you have held me by my right hand.
24 You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory [revealing Your presence in me and through me].
25 Who have I in heaven [with full understanding] but you? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside you.
26 My flesh and my heart fail: but God is the strength of my heart [the understanding in My mind], and my portion forever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from you [remaining in death] shall perish: you have destroyed all them that go a whoring from you [to follow those deceiving the whole world].
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the LORD God, that I may [open My mouth and] declare all your works.
Daniel 2
28 But there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and makes known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days [‘achariyth – these last days, the expected end]. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, are these;
29 As for you, O king, your thoughts came into your mind upon your bed [while you slept in death], what should come to pass hereafter: and he that reveals secrets makes known to you what shall come to pass.
30 But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living [But it is the LORD God living in me who reveals them to me], but for their [the living’s] sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that you might know the thoughts of your heart.
31 You, O king, saw, and behold a great image [tselem – the illusion of power]. This great image [tselem – the illusion of power], whose brightness [understanding] was excellent [yattiyr – was preeminent], stood before you; and the form thereof was terrible.
32 This image’s [tselem – the illusion’s] head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
34 You saw till that a stone [I and the children the LORD has given me – the ONE BODY of Christ is this Stone, separated from the now corrupt and deluded powers] was cut out without hands [but by the LORD God Himself], which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay [understanding weakened as if by dirt upon heels], and brake them to pieces.
35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together [all the powers of the earth in these last days], and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain [a new nation], and filled the whole earth.
36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.
37 You, O king, are a king of kings [Nebuchadnezzar – the lies of false prophets that have destroyed all kingdoms and powers]: for the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell [duwr – verse 11 telling what this dwelling place, state of mind of wise men not knowing God is with us always, that is the root of the delusions, saying “And it is a rare thing that the king requires, and there is none other that can show it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling {what duwr} is not with flesh.”], the beasts [without God’s Spirit] of the field and the fowls of the heaven [those who once had understanding] has he given into your hand, and has made you [your confusion now turned mass delusions] ruler over them all. You are this head of gold [the golden image of Daniel 3:1 whom all are forced to worship].
39 And after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
40 And the fourth kingdom [this nation, the USA] shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things: and as iron that breaks all these, shall it break [r’a’ – make good for nothing] in pieces and bruise [r’a’ – make good for nothing].
41 And whereas you saw the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with miry clay.
42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
43 And whereas you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
44 And in the days of these kings [delusions ruling the world] shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
45 Forasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter [‘achar – in these last days]: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
Daniel 3
15 Now if you be ready that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, you fall down and worship the image [tselem – the mass delusion, the weakness of this nation in these last days] which I have made; well: but if you worship not, you shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God [I Am, in me] that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer you in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto you, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image [tselem – the mass delusion of the wicked in power] which you have set up.
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men [the known liars and false accusers, who attack any who refuse to bow to their delusions] that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished [when realizing God is with us], and rose up in haste, and spoke, and said unto his counselors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God [unknown to be Daniel, the judgment of God, the one who is what God is].
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was a hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel [mal’ak – messenger], and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach [the great royal scribe – delivering the word of God as received], Meshach [who is what God is], and Abednego [working in His prophets], shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
The following, ending with John 16, are excerpts from the post of 20 October 2020.
Then a herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, fall down and worship the golden image set up.
The above, from Daniel 3:4 & 5, is telling of when all people were forced to bow to the image set up by Nebuchadnezzar. The word “image” is the Chaldean word tselem, from the Hebrew word tselem, meaning “to shade; a phantom, i.e. (figuratively) illusion, resemblance; hence, a representative figure, especially an idol.” As we know, the name Nebuchadnezzar translates into describing the lies of false prophets that cause the desolation (of those following their misleading “expert” advice.). In our time, it is the LORD speaking of the illusions now ruling the world: disinformation in church and state: agenda corrupted opinion substituted for “knowledge.” Those who bow to the images (man-caused climate change, COVID, Biden isn’t corrupt and Trump is, the Rapture, the absence of God), do so rather than refusing them, and for it, being cast into the fires.
The Hebrew word tselem appears seventeen times in the written word of God; the first three, in Genesis 1:26 & 27, telling of when God said he would make man in His “image.” The underlying point is men, false prophets, with their creations, attempt to make men bow to their music, to make them in their likeness. The LORD’s creations, His image, our God-given mind, once made in His likeness, given His understanding and mind, refuses to bow in silence. We don’t fear the fires, because we know therein He joins us and the fire has no power.
Isaiah 53
1 Who has believed our report [shmuw’ah – the rumor now proven to be sound doctrine]? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Ezekiel 7
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Also, you son of man, thus says the LORD God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
3 Now is the end come upon you, and I will send my anger upon you, and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all your abominations.
4 And my eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense your ways upon you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
5 Thus says the LORD God; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
6 An end is come, the end is come: it watches for you; behold, it is come.
7 The morning [tsphiyrah – the corona, the crowning of the LORD’s chosen, the man of God, as was David] is come unto you, O you that dwells in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon you, and accomplish my anger upon you: and I will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense you for all your abominations.
9 And my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense you according to your ways and your abominations that are in the midst of you; and you shall know that I am the LORD that smites.
10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning [tsphiyrah – the crowning] is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.
11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
12 The time is come, the day draws near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling-block of their iniquity.
20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images [tselem] of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers [priyts -the violence of tyrants] shall enter into it, and defile it.
23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
25 Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor [shmuw’ah – teaching sound doctrine, and reporting truth] shall be upon rumor [shmuw’ah – teaching and reporting that isn’t believed, and the man of God reporting it is still unknown – because of the lies and misleading of those who’ve blinded the world by drunkenness]; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
John 14
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence [to the other side of death].
The word rendered “hence” above is enteuthen, meaning here, (repeated) on both sides, from the word enthade, meaning “within; i.e. (of place) here.” Following this word’s appearance, we are given a full understanding of the kingdom of God. It is the word the LORD uses, in John 18:36, when he says, “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence [enteuthen].”
He is saying His kingdom is in Him (it is His mind), but not appearing on that side of death. John later uses the same word, twice in Revelation 22:2, to tell the tree of life. There the two words are rendered “either side” of the river. The clearer translation of these verses says the throne (kingdom) is in the river “proceeding out of” (ekopeuomanon – ek o poreia meno) God and the Lamb. It says the way (street) is the tree of life producing fruit from one side (of death) to the other (into life, according to the scriptures) and the kingdom is manifested when the origin of the waters of life are realized to be the throne (kingdom) here on earth.
Revelation 22
1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night [ignorance] there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun [understanding from the church]; for the LORD God gives them light [understanding]: and they shall reign forever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the LORD God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
9 Then said he unto me, See you do it not: for I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10 And he said unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, LORD Jesus.
21 The grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
John 15
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.
9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love.
10 If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.
John 16
1 These things have I spoken unto you, that you should not be offended.
2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time comes, that whosoever kills you will think that he does God service.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, Whither go you?
6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow has filled your heart.
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
15 All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.
16 A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me, because I go to the Father.
Friends, now is when we see Him again, when His kingdom is in this world, this new nation where God and His righteousness dwell. It comes with our confession of His presence, the living God manifested in His revelation of things only He knows (which is the resurrection of man, the ONE BODY of Christ).
2 Corinthians 10
2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some [who think they are in Christ, yet they war in the flesh], which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God [alive in us] to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled [and your mouths are opened, with me, speaking His word, declaring it is His and His war].
7 Do you look on things after the outward appearance? if any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he [thinks he] is Christ’s, even so are we [truly in] Christ’s.
2 Timothy 2
1 You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit you to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
3 You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strives for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strives lawfully.
6 The husbandman that labors [striving lawfully] must be first partaker of the fruits [the understanding the LORD reveals].
7 Consider what I say; and the LORD give you understanding in all things.
8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound [but is revealed to me proving He live in me].
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the LORD that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings [of the corrupt]: for they will increase unto more ungodliness [not manifesting the LORD alive in our flesh].
17 And their word will eat as does a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus [those keeping us from rising to join the LORD, while they hide behind feigned love];
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection [which doesn’t come until His ONE BODY joins Him and rises to confess He is alive in us, showing His true love by delivering His truth] is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The LORD knows them that are his. And, let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity [the corruption that remains].
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these [dishonorable men], he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the LORD out of a pure heart [without which no man can see Him].
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strife [are only asked to keep an argument going, rather than to find truth].
24 And the servant of the LORD must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres [the priests trying to keep God’s people in hard bondage under tyrants] withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate [without proof] concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10 But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the LORD delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 But continue you in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them;
15 And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus [the man you’ve become].
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God [the child who has put away childish things] may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 4
1 I charge you therefore before God, and the LORD Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word [open your mouth and speak it as received]; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves [false] teachers, having itching ears [listening to those who only scratch the surface];
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables [men’s creations].
5 But watch you in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry.
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the LORD, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing [when He is revealed in us, at His will].
The word “appearing” in verses 1 & 8 above, speaking of the LORD here in me, in His ONE BODY, to judge the quick and the dead, is the Greek word epiphaneia (epiphany), meaning “a manifestation, i.e. (specially) the advent of Christ (past or future):–appearing, brightness.”
The crowning (crown of righteousness) Paul tells of occurs at this epiphany is seeing the “brightness” of His understanding in our flesh that reveals Him, which is our crowning.
The word (epiphaneia) is used four other times, all describing this manifestation in the flesh, according to the scriptures.
1 Timothy 6
11 But you, O man of God [Timothy and the children God has given me], flee these [childish] things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have [when your mouth is opened, as mine is confessing He is risen and live in me] professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That you keep this commandment [to open your mouths] without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing [epiphaneia] of our LORD Jesus Christ [SEEN in our flesh]:
15 Which in his times he shall show, [crowning] who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords;
16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light [in the understanding that only God has and gives to the son he chooses] which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate [this word of God as received];
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane [the words of those whose words curse God’s people to ignorance] and vain [worthless] babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called [the science of the day that lies to enforce evil]:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.
2 Timothy 1
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love [agape – freely, without bounds, giving us all understanding], and of a sound mind.
8 Be not you therefore ashamed of the testimony of our LORD [who is alive in me], nor of me his prisoner: but be you partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
9 Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10 But is now made manifest [phanaroo] by the appearing [epiphaneia] of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death [showing Himself alive in me], and has brought life and immortality to light [understanding] through the gospel:
11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day [this day, when all will hear and know Him].
13 Hold fast the form of sound doctrine [which the world is without {tohuw}], which you have heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
14 That good thing which was committed unto you keep by the Holy Ghost [the LORD unknown] which dwells in us.
1 Timothy 3
14 These things write I unto you, hoping to come unto you shortly:
15 But if I tarry long, that you mayest know how you ought [the manner of God] to behave yourself in the house [the family – species] of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest [phanaroo] in the flesh, justified in the Spirit [while unknown], seen of angels [those who become his messengers to the heirs of eternal life], preached unto the Gentiles [those who don’t know God, even those ignorant of Him while saying they do], believed on in the world, received up into glory [as the son of man must be lifted up, as Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness].
1 Timothy 4
1 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry [holding you down – forbidding you from rising to join the LORD in His ONE BODY], and commanding to abstain from meats [this deep understanding], which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe [He is speaking] and know the truth.
2 Thessalonians 2
7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets [katecho – holds down] will let [will hold down by apostasy, standing away, from the LORD and His truth], until he be taken out of the way [mesos – from among us].
8 And then shall that Wicked [the misleaders in who is the spirit of the Satan: resisting and opposing the plan and will of God] be revealed, whom the LORD shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness [epiphaneia] of his coming:
9 Even him [the LORD in me], whose coming is after the working of Satan [after he misleads all the world into ignorance, confusion, and now insanity] with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love [agape – this word of God freely given] of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion [see Isaiah 66:4, where they, those remaining among the dead, refuse to answer the LORD’s call to open their mouths], that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Isaiah 66
Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear [shama’ – obey]: but they did evil before my eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear [shama’ – obey] the word of the LORD, you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise [those opening their mouths as the LORD commands] from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompense to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man [who was before a] child.
8 Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day [this day when your mouths are opened]? or shall a [new] nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children [teaching them this word of God].
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God.
2 Thessalonians 2
13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the LORD, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our LORD Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which you have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our LORD Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope [of this expected end in the LORD’s presence] through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts [bring all truth into your minds], and establish you in every good word and work.
Titus 2
11 For the grace [this free gift] of God that bringeth salvation has appeared [epiphaneia] to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope [this expected end], and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things [open your mouths and] speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.
Psalms 49
1 Hear [shama’ – obey] this, all you people; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world:
2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
4 I will incline my ear to a parable: I will open [pathach] my dark [manifesting My presence in their revelation] saying upon the harp [these repeated words].
5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels [‘aqeb – the dirt, clay, the track of corruption that made all the world ignorant of My presence] shall compass me about?
6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases forever:)
9 That he should still live forever, and not see corruption.
10 For he sees that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue forever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
12 Nevertheless man being in honor abides not: he is like the beasts [without the LORD’s Spirit] that perish.
13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approves their sayings. Selah.
14 Like sheep [led astray] they are laid in the grave [sheol – hell]; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave [sheol – hell] from their dwelling.
15 But God will redeem my soul from the power [to mislead] of the grave [sheol – hell]: for he shall receive me. Selah.
16 Be not you afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise you, when you do well to yourself.
19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
20 Man that is in honor, and understands not, is like the beasts [without the LORD’s Spirit] that perish.
