Having confidence in your obedience I wrote unto you, knowing that you will also do more than I say.

13 – 14 February 2024

Having confidence in your obedience I wrote unto you, knowing that you will also do more than I say.

Friends, in the above, Philemon 1:21, the LORD speaks to us today, of the work set before us, now, when His word is received as Him speaking, here present, with us, in us.

The chapter begins, verse 1 saying, “Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon [my friends] our dearly beloved, and fellow-laborer,” addressing us, “I and the children the LORD has given me.”

The original text, without the word “our,” describes Timothy philadelphia, the brother of God’s love, with you His friends: all His “dearly beloved,” from the word agapetos, those to whom His word is given: His unfailing charity now received as His word.

It is in this context He continues:

Philemon
2 And to our beloved Apphia [fruitful: the fruit of His word effectually working], and Archippus [Arch horse – His white horse, His purified people upon, in, which He rides into battle] our fellow-soldier, and to the church [His ONE and ONLY BODY] in your house:
3 Grace to you [this gift of God’s treasures you’ve received], and peace, from God our Father and the LORD Jesus Christ.
4 I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers [conversations with the Father],
5 Hearing [from Him] of your love [agape – giving this word as received] and faith [receiving it as His], which you have toward the LORD Jesus [whom you’ve thereby received], and [giving it as His word] toward all saints;
6 That the communication of your faith may become effectual [working in those who receive it as His word, as you have] by the acknowledging of every good thing [given to you by the LORD] which is in you in Christ Jesus.
7 For we have great joy [now when you’ve realized the LORD in us speaking and working] and consolation in [paraklesis epi – as the Paraclete in us, giving] your love [agape – giving His word], because the bowels of [the LORD’s mercy toward] the saints are refreshed [rests upon them] by you, brother [through Timothy].
8 Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin [epitasso – rightly order] you that which is convenient [aneko – boldly telling where you have arrived, this expected end],
9 Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech [parakaleo – as the LORD speak to] you, being such a one as Paul the aged, and [telling you that you are] now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
10 I beseech you for my son Onesimus [I, Timothy, Am, as you are, the ONE through whom the word from the LORD is profitable], whom I have begotten in my bonds: [Philippians 2: 22 But you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.]
11 Which in time past was to you unprofitable, but now [when received as His] profitable to you and to me:
12 Whom I [the LORD] have sent again: you therefore receive him, that is, my own bowels:
13 Whom I would have retained with me, that in your stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel [by which he has awakened you]:
14 But without your mind [willingly become obedient] would I do nothing; that your benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
15 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season [remaining separated until this end, your perfection], that you shouldest receive him [the LORD alive in me] forever;
16 Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto you, [Timothy, and the children the LORD has given me] both in the flesh, and in the LORD?
17 If you count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
18 If he has wronged you, or owe you ought, put that on my account;
19 I Paul have written it with my own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to you how you owe unto me even my own self besides.
20 Yea, brother [upon whom the LORD’s love has come], let me have joy [realizing the LORD and acting upon His word as commanded] of you in the LORD: refresh my bowels [awaken the inner man of the brethren, by His word] in the LORD.
21 Having confidence in your obedience I wrote unto you, knowing that you will also do more than I say.
22 But withal prepare me also a lodging [the dwelling place of the LORD, His ONE BODY]: for I trust that through your prayers [this conversation with the LORD] I shall be given unto you.
23 There salute you Epaphras [all those the LORD has loved, this now awakening generation of God’s people], my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus;
24 Marcus [those set of the defense of the gospel], Aristarchus [who will rule as God intends, with truth and justice: just and equal], Demas [and thereby govern all people], Lucas [giving His light: His understanding], my fellow-laborers [doing the LORD’s work].
25 The grace [these gifts of God] of our LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit [now risen immortal]. Amen.

When the the LORD speaks of us (His ONE BODY) as Onesimos (from the once used word oninemi, in verse 20 above rendered “have joy,” meaning, “a prolonged form of an apparently primary verb (onomai, to slur); for which another prolonged form (onao) is used as an alternate in some tenses (unless indeed it be identical with the base of 3686 [“name” – marked idenity] through the idea of notoriety); to gratify, i.e. (middle voice) to derive pleasure or advantage from:–have joy”) He is referring us to its one other appearance, in Colossians 4:9.

The chapter, Colossians 4, begins speaking to “masters,” from the word kurios, meaning “from kuros (supremacy); supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller; by implication, Master (as a respectful title):– God, LORD, master, Sir.” It is there speaking of teaching, giving what is just and equal to those who’ve waited for it from the LORD alone.

Friends, it’s a hard thing to accept that all the voices you are following, even those claiming they are on your side, if they aren’t speaking according to this word, declaring the LORD’s presence in these last days of darkness, are enemies of the cross, trampling under foot the LORD’s sacrifice in the flesh: declaring His just and equal judgments.

Philippians 3
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule [same order, bound to Him willingly], let us mind the same thing.
17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as you have us for an ensample [if they speak not according to this word there is no understanding in them: not knowing the LORD or the time].
18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence [in this conversation from where we receive His grace] also we look for the Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Isaiah 43
15 Truly you are a God that hides yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior.
16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols [creating their own ways and ideas, to which they say men should bow and repeat].
17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be ashamed nor confounded WORLD WITHOUT END.
18 For thus says the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
19 I have not spoken in secret [but here in plain sight boldly declared], in a dark place of the earth [not in agreement, not covenanting, with the ignorant: those in death and hell]: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek you me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you that are escaped of the nations [escaping those who don’t know me or the time]: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god [they created and put in my place] that cannot save.
21 Tell you, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? who has told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me [the one the LORD raised up like the serpent in the wilderness], and be you saved, all the ends of the earth [ending the old and beginning the new]: for I am God, and there is none else.
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

1 Timothy 6
11 But you, O man of God, flee these things [the love of money, speaking and teaching for it, professing things just and equal that are the opposite, to please the itching ears of the blind and lost who under you are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth] and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords;
16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded [exalting their words above the LORD’s], nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate [this word from the mouth of the LORD, as received];
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings [of men ignorant of the LORD and not knowing the time], and oppositions of science falsely so called [false knowledge, men’s opinions without a good foundation, that aren’t knowledge]:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

1 Corinthians 3
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat [that only benefits the spiritually grown, who have put away childish things]: for hitherto you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able [because you are listening to the opinions of men, waiting for them to declare the LORD and the time, when He has always intended for His to be the only voice declaring Himself present in this time].
3 For you are yet carnal [not able to hear the Father here speaking and working His will]: for whereas there is among you [of the flesh, carnal, mind] envying, and [of the flesh, carnal, mind] strife, and [of the flesh, carnal, mind] divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?
4 For while one says, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are you not carnal [not understanding it is Christ alive those speaking this same word with one mind]?
5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed [the LORD is alive in us speaking, known by our one mind], even as the LORD gave to every man?
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God [in us] gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planted any thing, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase.
8 Now he that plants and he that waters are one [speaking the same things given and taught by the LORD in us]: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 For we are laborers together with God: you are God’s husbandry, you are God’s building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master-builder [until Christ is formed in you and you declare these same words], I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in our flesh revealing Himself].
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day [of the LORD, ending the darkness] shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire [this word from the mouth of the LORD].
16 Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God [corrupting the minds of men, blinding them to His presence and the time], him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy [uncorrupted by men], which temple you are [when you are holy as He is holy].
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written [in Job 5:13], He takes the wise in their own craftiness [in their own opinions without foundation they show themselves ignorant of this reality before the eyes of the world].
20 And again, The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain [worthless, because they are opinions based on their corrupt foundation, taught by the ignorant] .
21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas [all those through which Christ speaks with one voice], or the world [speaking ignorance], or life [from the LORD’s voice], or death [by men’s voice], or [both these] things present, or things to come [when every knee will bow]; all are yours [to give you understanding, making you able to, with good judgment, discern good and evil];
23 And you are Christ’s [who has thereby come to life in you, bringing you to life with Him]; and Christ is God’s [His ONE BODY, the flesh in which He dwells].

Job 5
3 I have seen the foolish [deniers of God and this time] taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
4 His [the fools who have said there is no God] children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them.
5 Whose harvest [the fruit of the ways they’ve cultivated] the hungry eat up, and taketh it even out of the thorns [away from those misleading them], and the robber swallows up their substance.
6 Although [this] affliction come not forth of the dust [from the ruin of the earth], neither does trouble spring [grow by itself] out of the ground; [they, affliction and trouble, are the tribulation that comes when fools are in power, beginning demagogues they end as tyrants;]
7 Yet man is born unto trouble [already sown in the earth], as the sparks fly upward [they are by the fire of God raised out of it].
8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9 Which does great things and unsearchable; marvelous [eye opening] things without number:
10 Who gives rain [His word] upon the earth, and sends waters upon the fields [to bring a new crop]:
11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn [admitting what fools before them wrought] may be exalted to safety.
12 He disappoints the devices of the crafty [fools thinking themselves wise], so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
13 He take the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward [who twist and pervert truth] is carried headlong [into destruction].
14 They meet with darkness [their ignorance, which is falsely called knowledge, is exposed] in the day time [now when light has come], and grope [to find their way] in the noonday [when understanding is fully risen] as in the night.
15 But he saves the poor [those without worldly power] from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
16 So the poor has hope, and iniquity stops her mouth.
17 Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore despise not you the chastening of the Almighty:
18 For he makes sore, and binds up: he wounds, and his hands make whole.
19 He shall deliver you in six troubles: yea, in seven [in this time of our perfecting] there shall no evil touch you.
20 In famine [when the world is without His word, when men keep it back from those they are destroying by omission, He, as now, speaks] he shall redeem you from death: and in war [I alone fight] from the power of the sword [the words of proud men].

Colossians 4
1 Masters, give unto your servants [doulos – willing subjects bound to us and the LORD, who from Him receive] that which is just and equal; knowing that you also have a Master [KURIOS] in heaven [reigning Supreme with full understanding: marked by His good judgment and equal justice].
2 Continue in prayer [conversing with the LORD, who is King of kings and KURIOS of kurios], and watch [waiting for His good judgment] in the same [things just and equal] with thanksgiving;
3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance [revealing Himself as He speaks His judgment through us], to speak the mystery of Christ [the LORD alive in us], for which I am also in bonds [His willing subject]:
4 That I may make it manifest [His presence], as I ought to speak [as I am bound].
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without [who are exiting confusion, awakening from death’s sleep], redeeming the time [rescuing them from this time when darkness covers the world].
6 Let your speech be always with grace [this gift of God, through which His mercy and salvation comes], seasoned with salt [realized as the taste of good when spoken], that you may know how you ought to answer every man [with the same words you have been given].
7 All my state [as bound to Christ who is alive in me] shall Tychicus [the one who brings this, meeting the LORD, to pass] declare unto you, who is [Timothy] a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellow-servant in the LORD:
8 Whom I [the LORD] have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort [parakaleo – as the Paraclete, lead you into all truth] your hearts [bringing light into your minds];
9 With Onesimus [of the ONE BODY], a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here [now].
10 Aristarchus [all those the LORD has loved, this now awakening generation of God’s people] my fellow-prisoner salute you, and Marcus [those set of the defense of the gospel], sister’s son to Barnabas [the prophesied son], (touching whom you received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
11 And [is] Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh], which is called Justus [His just and equal judgment], who are of the circumcision [whose minds aren’t carnal]. These only are my fellow-workers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort [led into all truth] unto me.
12 Epaphras [all those the LORD has loved, this now awakening generation of God’s people], who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
13 For I bear him record, that he has a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea [among the lukewarm who are without zeal], and them in Hierapolis [who are the holy city, New Heavenly Jerusalem, in who God dwells].
14 Luke [bringing this light], the beloved physician [to bring you health], and Demas [by which you will govern as does the LORD, just and equal], greet you.
15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea [the lukewarm], and Nymphas [as the LORD, to join them into His ONE BODY], and the [ONE] church which is in his house.
16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
17 And say to Archippus [the pure, the white horse upon which the LORD rides into battle], Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the LORD, that you fulfil it.
18 The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.

Below, ending with Psalms 14, are excerpts from the post of 6 – 8 January 2024.

Hebrews 10
5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body [through which You will speak] have you prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; [2 Peter 1: 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our LORD Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased {HEAR Him}.]
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do your will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second [taking away the sacrifice in which He has no pleasure, because it is superficial, only covering sin, never changing the mind to take it away, and in its place inaugurating the sacrifice that pleases Him, long-suffering to change minds, taking away the corruption by His word, His power, that effectually does the work].
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God [from where His power is ministered];
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies [haters] be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he has perfected forever them that are sanctified [made holy, cleared of men’s corruption].
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD, I will put my laws into their hearts [making it the foundation of their thought process], and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest [the presence of the Father] by the blood [willing sacrifice] of Jesus [manifesting Jehovah’s Salvation],
20 By a new and living way, which he has consecrated [inaugurated] for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having a high priest [administrating this dispensation, as His chief overseer] over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled [with the blood of His sacrifice] from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works [speaking His word, in which is the power that effectually works to change the minds of men]:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together [episunagoge – only appearing here and in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 where it’s our “gathering together” to the LORD Jesus Christ, that only comes after the falling way, the word meaning the complete collection, into His ONE BODY], as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day [this light, understanding] approaching.
26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under-foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, says the LORD. And again, The LORD shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 Partly, whilst you were made a gazing-stock [held up for public mocking by those who hate us without cause] both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst you became companions of them that were so used.
34 For you had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you have in heaven a better [kreitton] and an enduring substance.
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence [waiting for things fully expected], which has great recompence of reward.
36 For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God [speaking as commanded], you might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back [hupostello – fearing, hold back this word], my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back [hupostole] unto perdition [apoleia]; but of them that believe [that this word is the word from the mouth of God] to the saving of the soul.

When Paul, the LORD through (in) him speaking, in 2 Thessalonians 2, tells of the falling away (the apostasy that comes before the LORD appears to gather His people into His ONE BODY) of the wicked, in whom the spirit of Satan works his power to deceive, with lying signs and wonders, are all who now lead God’s people in church and state. Now, as they were already working in Paul’s time, they are those who sit before God’s people, in His place, as if they are Him, to oppose the love of His truth, which is against them, their false teaching, and their positions as lords over God’s people.

As we know, they are the same wicked people, spoken of earlier in 1 Thessalonians 2, as Satan not allowing this word of God to be spoken to those who haven’t heard it as the word of God, as it is. These are the same wicked and unreasonable men spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 3, who aren’t giving this word free course, saying, from them we should pray to be delivered.

1 Thessalonians 2
11 As you know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father does his children,
12 That you would walk worthy of God [renouncing “the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light {understanding} of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4], who has called you unto his kingdom and glory.
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us [exactly as here and now], you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works [as the power changing your minds] also in you that believe.
14 For you, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judah are in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
15 Who both killed the LORD Jesus [as the false teachers and devils among us have, through their blinding corruption], and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
16 Forbidding us to speak [this word of God, as received] to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath [the LORD’s vengeance in the same word, as is spoken of in Hebrews 10:30, quoting Deuteronomy 32::35 & 36] is come upon them to the uttermost.
17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored the more abundantly to see [the LORD’s presence manifest in] your face with great desire.
18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan [the spirit in them working] hindered us.
19 For what is our hope [we wait for and fully expect], or joy [the LORD’s presence realized in you], or crown of rejoicing [when He is realized working and speaking in us]? Are not even you [who’ve received this word of God as His word, as it is] in the presence of our LORD Jesus Christ at his coming?
20 For you are our glory [when His presence is in you manifested] and joy [realized by you and those who through you hear and obey Him].

2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together [apeksunogoge – at His complete collection of His people into His ONE BODY] unto him,
2 That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day [the time of light, understanding, returned] of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day [full understanding returns] shall not come, except there come a falling away [apostasia – standing away from God and His truth, with those who’ve led there by putting themselves in His place, who now resist and oppose Him] first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition [the many in the pattern of Reuben, who put himself in his father’s place and lost his birthright];
4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God [in His place], showing himself that he is God.
5 Remember you not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now you know what withholds [katecho – holds down, keeping God’s people from rising] that he might be revealed in his time [all the men putting themselves in God’s place, from then until now, who resist and oppose this true word of God, because it opposes them and their confusion by which they rule].
7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets [katecho – hold God people down] will let, until he be taken out of the way [mesos – from among us].
8 And then [when this word of God has free course and is exalted above the corrupt words of men] shall that Wicked be revealed [apokaloupto – the apocalypse], whom the LORD shall consume with the spirit of his mouth [these words He is speaking, as a sword of righteousness], and shall destroy with the brightness [full understanding given] of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of [the apostasia – falling away from God and truth, led by the spirit of resistance] Satan with all power [to darken the minds of men] and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that [following them] perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause [choosing to remain in apostacy, followling those siting in God’s place] God shall send them strong delusion [insanity now destroying the old and corrupt world], that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the LORD, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit [cleansing you in these pure waters] and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel [believing He is with us, in us speaking and working], to the obtaining of the glory [the manifested presence] of our LORD Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions [paradosis – transmitted, give as received] which you have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our LORD Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation [paraklesis – the Paraclete, who is with us always, leading us into all truth] and good hope [of the expected end] through grace [the gift of these treasures],
17 Comfort your hearts [parakaleo – receive the message, this conversation with the LORD, into your minds], and stablish you [by this present truth] in every good word and work.

2 Thessalonians 3
1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the LORD may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you [received as the word of God, and not of man]:
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable [men who can’t be reasoned with] and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3 But the LORD is faithful, who shall stablish you [in this present truth], and keep you from evil.
4 And we have confidence in the LORD touching you [His word effectually working in you], that you both do and will do [and not just hear] the things which we command you.
5 And the LORD direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, and not after the tradition [paradosis – transmitted, given] which he received of us.

Hebrews 1
10 And, You, LORD, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands:
11 They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment;
12 And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels [the messengers He’s sent] said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Hebrews 2
1 Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the LORD, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him [from His flesh He prepared for Himself – His ONE BODY in which He dwells];
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts [these treasures revealed] of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Hebrews 12
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But you are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels [messengers sent with this message, to the heirs of salvation to be revealed in these last days of darkness],
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speak better things than that of Abel.
25 See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven [this place of full understanding, from the right hand of God the Father]:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace [these treasure we’ve received], whereby we may [obey and] serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Psalms 73
1 Truly God is good to Israel [the children who receive His promise], even to such as are of a clean heart [a mind whose foundation is not corrupted].
2 But as for me [the children who remain in rebellion, ignorantly refusing His dominion], my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 For there are no bands [they are unrestrained] in their death: but their strength [to mislead the world] is firm.
5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6 Therefore pride [in their success] compasses them about as a chain [with which they ignorantly bind themselves and those who join them]; violence covers them as a garment.
7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily [of how they rule the world].
9 They set their mouth against the heavens [against all understanding], and their tongue walks through the earth [corrupting all discourse].
10 Therefore his people return hither [here to this pure word of God]: and [unpolluted] waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
11 And they [ignorantly] say [of this word], How does God know? and is there knowledge in the Most High?
12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in [worldly] riches.
13 Truly I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence.
14 For all the day long have I been plagued [by the wicked who prosper], and chastened every morning [by the LORD’s correction of the ungodly].
15 If I say, I will speak thus [with the understanding He has given]; behold, I should offend against the generation of your children.
16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God [dwelling in Him]; then understood I their end [‘achariyth – these last days].
18 Surely you did set them in slippery places: you cast them down into destruction.
19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20 As a dream when one awakes; so, O LORD, when you awaken, you shall despise their image.
21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
22 So foolish was I [refusing to speak Your word, which is the sudden end of the wicked], and ignorant: I was as a beast before you.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with you: you have holden me by my right hand.
24 You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside you.
26 My flesh and my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from you shall perish: you have destroyed all them that go a whoring from you.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the LORD God, that I may [with an obedient mouth] declare all your works.

Psalms 14
1 The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.
2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 You have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
