17 – 18 July 2024
What will you say when he shall punish you? for you have taught them to be captains, and as chief over you: shall not sorrows take you, as a woman in travail?
The word “punish,” above in Jeremiah 13:21, is paqad, meaning “to visit (with friendly or hostile intent); by analogy, to oversee, muster, charge, care for, miss, deposit, etc..” As often discussed, it speaks of the LORD openly manifesting His presence, in His word and work, as the Chief Overseer of the earth, declaring righteous decrees that combat the evil decrees (now) ruling the earth.
One such decree concerns current government institutions (of church and state), degenerated into the control of those antithetical to their Constitution. No longer are they controlled by (the consent of) the constituents who elect representatives to carry out their will, within the framework of the powers vested in their institutions by its Law. This will, as established in our Declaration, is that we are entitled to live under “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God (the Creator),” who has endowed us with unalienable Rights, among them Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, and to secure these unalienable Rights governments are instituted.
As we know, the “Bill of Rights,” the first ten amendments to the Constitution, state additional rights essential to “securing” ourselves against despots abusing government power. They specifically protect against demagogues that might rise and end as tyrants threatening our Lives and Liberty. They additionally state our Right to Pursue Happiness includes our right to acquire and keep secure our private property.
The current governments, riddled by millions of unelected self-servants, now led by devils (possessed by the spirit of Satan), abandoned, not only the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God, but also, the Spirit in these Laws (securing our God-Given Rights, our neighbors’ and our own: reciprocal security, the way to peace and sustainable civilization), and now control, by evil decree and corrupt judgment, virtually every aspect of our existence.
The LORD has righteously decreed they will not continue.
2 Peter 3
9 The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness [ignorant of the fact He is always here with us]; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements [stoicheion – the rudiments of the world, the corruption and insanity now possessing humanity] shall melt with fervent heat [the fires of hell these elements themselves create], the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy [this pure, uncorrupted, word] conversation [wherein the LORD’s presence is manifested] and godliness [eusebeia – literally meaning to revere good; the same word as in 1 Timothy 3:16, saying, “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness {eusebeia}: God was {is} manifest in the flesh {of those speaking His word}, justified in the Spirit {while unknown speaking and working}, seen of angels {those made pure who become His messengers speaking His word}, preached unto the Gentiles {to those who don’t know Him}, believed on in the world {He is now creating}, received up into glory {in those exalting His voice above all other voices}.],
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the [old and corrupted] heavens [where this understanding should be found] being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements [stoicheion – the corrupt foundational ideas of the wicked in power] shall melt [be dissolved] with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our LORD is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrestle, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction [apoleia – perdition].
17 You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
18 But grow in grace [this gift], and in the knowledge of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
The word above, in 1 Timothy 3:16, dubiously rendered “without controversy,” only appearing here, is homologoumenos, from the word homou (same) logos (words) and menuo, meaning “probably from the same base as 3145 [masso – to handle, as in 1 John 1 below] and 3415 [mnaomai – to mentally grasp] (i.e. mao, to strive); to disclose (through the idea of mental effort and thus calling to mind), i.e. report, declare, intimate:–show, tell.”
In this verse (1 Timothy 3:16) Paul says homologoumenos (this same word declared) megas (the greatness found therein) eusebeia (is revering good) musterion Theos phaneroo en sarx (is the mystery of God manifested in the flesh).
This statement comes after (in verse 15) he (Paul) just spoke to Timothy so he would know how to behave (anastrepho – return: in the conversation) to “the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”
Acts 15
15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
16 After this I will return [anastrepho], and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
17 That the residue of men might seek after the LORD, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, says the LORD, who does all these things.
18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
2 Corinthians 1
9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead:
10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
11 You also helping together [under the same sentence, doing the same work] by prayer for us, that for the gift [this understanding from the LORD] bestowed upon us by the means [of answering the prayers] of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf [thanking the LORD for our deliverance and theirs].
12 For our rejoicing [the LORD’s presence realized in this word] is this, the testimony of our conscience [suneidesis – our co-perspective with the LORD], that in simplicity [haplotes – meaning “singleness, i.e. (subjectively) sincerity (without dissimulation or self-seeking), or (objectively) generosity (copious bestowal)] and godly [Theos – from God] sincerity [without leaven: uncorrupted], not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace [this gift] of God, we have had our conversation [anastrepho – in which the LORD is] in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
13 For we write none other things unto you, that what you read or acknowledge [epiginosko – this dispensation of knowledge by the LORD through His gift to us, in this conversation]; and I trust you shall acknowledge [epiginosko – receive the dispensation of knowledge] even to the end [when we receive this full understanding, the light and life of the LORD];
14 As also you have acknowledged [epiginosko – received the dispensation from] us in part, that we are your rejoicing [realizing it is the LORD manifesting His presence in the conversation], even as you also are ours [rejoicing] in the day [when the light and life] of the LORD Jesus [is manifested from you].
1 John 1
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (For the life [light and understanding] was manifested, and we have seen it [in the flesh], and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us [in His son, and the children given to him];)
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy [realizing His presence in this manner] may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light [understanding and life], and in him is no darkness [ignorance] at all.
Ephesians 2
1 And you has he quickened [from the dead into life], who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course [aion – this age of ignorance] of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air [aer – one of the seven times this word appears, here referring to it and the church darkened by the smoke that comes from the bottomless pit {Revelation 9:2}, meaning all understanding is gone, in the endless fall away from God], the spirit [of ignorance] that now works in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation [anastrepho] in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, has [clearing the air, as in Revelation 16:17] quickened us [from death into life] together with Christ, (by grace [this gift of understanding, light, life] you are saved;)
6 And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places [with full understanding] in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to [aion – the new age now] come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us [giving this understanding] through Christ Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the conversation from the flesh He chooses].
8 For by grace [this word] are you saved through faith [it is His manifesting His presence with us, in us]; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift [given] of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works [to give His word as received], which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
11 Wherefore remember, that you being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and [by ignorance] without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who sometimes were far off are made near by the blood [this necessary sacrifice] of Christ [the flesh through which the Father speaks manifesting His presence].
14 For he is our peace, who has made both [God and man] one, and has broken down the middle wall [the veil of flesh] of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity [the ignorance by which we oppose His word and work], even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man [understanding the letter and Spirit of life in the Law], so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile [apokatallasso – change {allasso} us by not only putting down {kata}, but taking away {apo} the sin of ignorance] both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity [the reason for opposition] thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were near.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household [family] of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto a holy temple in the LORD:
22 In whom you also are built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit [into His ONE BODY].
The passages above, in verses 13 & 17, describes the reconciling of those “far off” and “near,” talking about those experiencing it, at first in total ignorance (far off), and those now receiving His word (the “access” – prosagoge, literally meaning led forth [by His] leading), drawing nearer (to completion of His work) than the day they first believed.
Romans 13
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we [first] believed [the LORD is with us, in us].
12 The night [the ignorance that covers the earth] is far spent, the day [this light, life, and understanding] is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness [ignorance], and let us put on the armor [the protection] of light [found in His life and understanding].
13 Let us walk honestly [not handling the word of God deceitfully], as in the day [with this understanding He is freely giving us]; not in rioting [not without self-control] and drunkenness [having our minds, and words, clear of what corrupts them], not in chambering and wantonness [not desiring to be what we are not], not in strife and envying [opposing those who have seen and do know].
14 But put you on the LORD Jesus Christ [this same mind: understanding and life found therein], and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Friends, Paul, the LORD in him speaking, at Mars’ Hill (meaning at the peak of this war between reality and delusion) speaks of this moment when all men have become too superstitious, thinking all is either metaphysical or fictional, and thereby missing the physical reality they are experiencing.
Acts 17
22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill [Aireos Pagos – at the “peak of martial,” of God’s people to this battle], and said, You men of Athens [now when man is certain of nothing, and all knowledge is corrupted by an inability to separate truth from opinions: delusions], I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious [deisidaimonesteros – literally meaning they are afraid, fearing the gods of this world, to receive the treasures that will strengthen them: giving certainty to the uncertain].
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God [the Holy Spirit]. Whom therefore you ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is LORD of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands [but in the flesh of those through whom He speaks and works];
25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands [works], as though he needed any thing, seeing he gives to all life [understanding], and breath [breathed from His mouth: words], and all things [needed];
26 And has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined [horizo – from where the sun rises] the times before appointed [protasso – prearranged, prescribed: before written, pre ordained], and the bounds [horothesia – laying out the limit: the termination point] of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the LORD [first], if haply they might feel after him [after He has effectually worked in us], and find him, though he be not far from every one of us [always willing to reveal His presence to those who receive Him manifested in His word]:
28 For in him [only do] we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are [by receiving this understanding] also his offspring [in whom He will live, if we become His prepared habitation].
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead [theios] is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device [enthumesis – only appearing four times, all others rendered “thoughts;” here in context discerned to be men’s fictitious writing].
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent [and purge out the blinding corruption]:
31 Because he has appointed a day [a sun rising, after the darkness: this ignorance], in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained [horizo – who is the place from where the sun rises, beginning this new day: age]; whereof he has given assurance unto all men, in that he has raised him from the dead [out of confusion, out of hell, into life in heaven: the place wherein full understanding is found].
32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear you again of this matter.
2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming [parousia] of our LORD Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together [episunagoge – only used here and in Hebrews 10:25 where we’re told not to forsake this {egkateleipo – meaning let this survive when all else doesn’t, as in Hebrews 13:5, when the LORD says He is the one who will remain when all others don’t} as do others; it means a complete collection] unto him,
2 That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away [apostasia – apostasy, defection from truth, standing away from God {because the fallen say they are holier than Him, as in Isaiah 65:5}, as in the bottomless pit John see in Revelation 9:2] first, and that man of sin be revealed [those putting themselves in the Father’s place, in the pattern of Rueben], the son of perdition [apoleia – as in 2 Peter 2:1, 2 & 3 & 3:7 & 16, as used in Revelation twice {in Revelation 17:8 & 11, which happen to the eighth church, who becomes part of Babylon {the mass confusion that rules the world} and ascended from the bottomless pit into perdition, which we’re told in 2 Peter 3:16 is the destruction that comes to the ignorant who wrestle with this word of God to their own “destruction”];
4 Who oppose and exalt himself [Satan in them working and speaking] above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God [as do the many antichrists among us, preaching and teaching their own ways and ideas in LORD’s name].
5 Remember you not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now you know what withholds [katecho – holds you, keeping God’s people from joining Him in His ONE BODY] that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work [these wicked men we’re already working, as Paul earlier describes in 1 Thessalonians 2, Satan working in them to keep this true word of God from being heard, as he also speaks of in 2 Thessalonians 3] only he who now lets [katecho – who were then holding God’s people down, oppressing them so the word of God wouldn’t have free course and be receives as His, as it is] will let [will hold you down], until he be taken out of the way [mesos – these men and their teaching taken out of our midst].
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the LORD shall consume [as in Hebrews 12, by His correction] with the spirit of [fire from] His mouth [shaking heaven and earth, so the wicked are shaken from them], and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming [parousia]:
9 Even him [the LORD], whose coming [parousia] is after the working of Satan [in wicked men] with all power [in church and state] and signs and lying wonders [which caused the apostasy and fool men into following them and not the LORD among us, who said “I will never leave you or forsake you”],
10 And [these wicked men] with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [And I must again here digress; I hear many people speaking of those they think are prophets because they saw this or that event occurring. These men are not prophets of God, and we know because they lack one thing, the knowledge of God. These are those bumbling about seeking what they will never find, never saying “Thus says the LORD” and, not knowing the time of their visitation, never speaking the words He here alone reveals. Thus says the LORD, “If they speak not according to this word there is no light in them.” They are those, too superstitious, Paul {the LORD in him} speaks to and of on Mars’ Hill.]
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie [believing their own opinions are truth, as they do: “I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before my eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.” Isaiah 66:4]:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the LORD, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called [kaleo] you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our LORD Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions [paradosis – transmitted, given as received, as in I Corinthians 11:2] which you have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our LORD Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which has loved [agapao – given His word to] us, and has given us everlasting consolation [paraklesis – from the Paraclete, the LORD working among us unknown] and good hope through grace [this gift],
17 Comfort [parakaleo] your hearts [continue His calling from your sound mind], and establish you in every good word and work.
1 Peter 2
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:
3 If so be you have tasted that the LORD is gracious.
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen [eklektos] of God, and precious,
5 You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect [eklektos], precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9 But you are a chosen [eklektos] generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles [those who don’t know the LORD]: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation [episkope – the days of the Chief Overseer].
As previously discussed, Jeremiah 13 begins with the LORD telling Jeremiah to take a girdle (a preparation, for a journey) and hide it in a hole in a rock near Euphrates.
Jeremiah 13
5 So I went, and hid it by Euphrates [this river of fruitfulness, wherein it should be found], as the LORD commanded me.
6 And it came to pass after many days [in these last days], that the LORD said unto me, Arise [rise to life from death’s sleep], go to Euphrates [this fruitful river in which is the preparation], and take the girdle [preparation] from thence, which I commanded you to hide there.
7 Then I went to Euphrates, and digged, and took the girdle from the place where I had hid it: and, behold, the girdle was marred [shachath – decayed and ruined in the earth], it was profitable for nothing.
As we know, from Revelation 16, this river is now dried up (by the sixth angel poring out the LORD’s wrath upon it: this word they reject) and what is (now was) hidden below its surface is revealed.
[From the post of 17 January 2024] In Revelation 16, between the sixth and seventh angel sounding, the LORD tells of manifesting His presence (name and identity) through (with and in) the seventh messenger (the only voice speaking for Him, with His authority),
after men began worshipping confusion (taking the mark [[of possession]] in their hand and head: in their works and words: their ways and ideas),
and all the waters became blood, words draining life from the world, and all living became dead,
and all the rivers of blood continued to flow the blood of dead men, keeping all dead in hell,
5 And I heard the angel of the [[pure]] waters say, You are righteous, O LORD, which are, and was, and shall be, because you have judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets [[destroying the understanding, life, they were given]], and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, LORD God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.
and the church caused men to pass through the fires their darkness caused, and they vilified God’s word and work sent to correct them and refused His calls for them to repent,
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat [of power] of the beast [the confusion that rules the world]; and his kingdom was full of darkness [ignorance]; and they gnawed their tongues for pain [[devouring themselves with their own corrupt words]],
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great [[megas]] river Euphrates [from where the word of God once flowed producing the fruitfulness of the earth]; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might [[those deceiving and manipulating the world]] be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean [defiled] spirits like frogs [which were before hidden below the surface of the waters: evil in their words] come out of the mouth of the dragon [those who, as serpents and whales, swallow men into the belly of hell], and out of the mouth of the beast [the insanity, Babylon that rules the world], and out of the mouth of the false prophet [the known liars and false accusers in church and state media].
14 For they are the spirits of devils [misleaders who put themselves in God’s place], working miracles [saying they are opening eyes to knowledge not before known], which go forth unto the kings [ruling powers] of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great [[megas]] day [[time of this light returning]] of God Almighty [at the time He decreed, which no man knows].
The LORD then speaks of this moment, when He has come and done His work, of which none are aware;
15 Behold, I [have] come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame [disappointment when what {I Am} they didn’t expect comes].
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon [this mountain of the rendezvous at this decreed time].
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air [clearing the smoke [[that came from the fall in the bottomless pit – Revelation 9:2]] so everything is clearly seen as it is]; and there came a [one] great [[megas]] voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne [of God], saying, “It is done.”
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great [[megas]] earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake [to shake the wicked from heaven and earth], and so great. [Are you ready?]
19 And the great [[megas]] city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away [and this word of God will be heard in all the places that have been without it], and the mountains [the high places, seats of power of the wicked] were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great [[megas]] hail out of heaven [this word reserved there for this moment, sent [[in this time of war]] to destroy the current crop of corrupt leaders], every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Jeremiah 13
9 Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I mar [shachath – cause to decay into ruin] the pride of Judah [the preparation the leaders of God’s people corrupted, and in their pride refuse to hear My correction back to purity], and the great pride of Jerusalem [God’s people into which these unfaithful leaders worked their leaven, until the whole is corrupted and worthless]. [Matthew 16:12 “Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of” their leaders who’ve corrupted God’s word as delivered and thereby led the world into darkness and death].
10 This evil people, which refuse to hear [shama’ – or obey] my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart [the creation of their own minds: abomination {opinions: delusions} they created, put in My place, and call by My name], and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle [‘ezowr – the preparation left them], which is [now corrupt and] good for nothing.
11 For as the girdle [‘ezowr] cleaves [dabaq] to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave [dabaq] unto me [alone] the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, says the LORD; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear [shama’ – or obey My good leading].
The word dabaq, meaning “to impinge, i.e. cling or adhere; figuratively, to catch by pursuit,” speaks of the snare upon all the earth, in which man is “caught up” (Hebrew, natsal or Greek, harpazo – seized) by God. Above, it speaks, as now, of men refusing this rescue.
The Greek equivalent of the word dabaq, is kollao (the origin of the name Colossians), meaning “from kolla (“glue”); to glue, i.e. (passively or reflexively) to stick (figuratively):–cleave, join (self), keep company.”
1 Corinthians 6
14 And God has both raised up the LORD, and will also raise up us by his own power [His word that effectually works in us, changing our mind to be like His].
15 Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot [the unfaithful who’ve left the LORD and follow men who put themselves in His place]? God forbid.
16 What? know you not that he which is joined [kallao] to a harlot [the unfaithful who sleep in death with these wicked men] is one body? for two, says he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined [kallao – cleaves] unto the LORD is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication [interaction with these men who’ve become idols who’ve put themselves in the LORD’s place]. Every sin that a man does is without the body; but he that commits fornication [whose interaction is the wicked and not the LORD] sins against his own body [choosing this darkness chooses condemnation].
19 What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [the LORD whom you apparently don’t know] which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?
20 For you are bought with a price [time – Tim]: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Colossians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus [meaning time {price} of God] our brother [I Am],
2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse [who now cleave to the LORD, joined with Him as ONE BODY]: Grace [this gift] be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the LORD Jesus Christ.
3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love [agape – giving this word as received] which you have [received as His word] to all the saints,
5 For the hope which is laid up [prepared] for you in heaven, whereof you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew [it is] the grace of God in truth:
7 As you also learned of Epaphras [from whom this fruitfulness flows] our dear fellow-servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
8 Who also declared unto us your love [agape – your charity, freely give this word] in the Spirit [the LORD, unknown to the world, working through you, in you].
9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That you might walk worthy of the LORD unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power [of His word effectually working], unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness [realizing it is the LORD’s presence manifested in you, through you];
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet [hikanoo – meaning “to enable, i.e. qualify:–make able (meet)] to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light [this understanding, this life]:
13 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness [ignorance], and has translated us [methe – carried us away from ignorance and corruption] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature [ktisis – this new creation]:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness [of His understanding] dwell;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile [apokatallasso] all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled [apokatallasso]
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23 If you continue in the faith [that the Father is always with us, in us] grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Am made a minister;
24 Who now rejoice [realizing the LORD’s presence is manifested] in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church [His ONE BODY]:
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil [accomplish and complete] the word of God;
26 Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches [this full understanding] of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles [who don’t know Him and are therefore blinded to His presence]; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29 Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
Jeremiah 13
15 Hear [shama’ – and obey] you, and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD has spoken.
16 Give glory to the LORD your God, before he causes darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while you look for light, he turns it into the shadow of death, and makes it gross darkness.
17 But if you will not hear [shama’ – and obey] it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and my eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD’s flock is carried away captive.
18 Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.
19 The cities of the south shall be shut up, and none shall open them: Judah shall be carried away captive all of it, it shall be wholly carried away captive.
20 Lift up your eyes, and behold them that come from the north [out of darkness]: where is the flock that was given you, your beautiful flock?
21 What will you say when he shall punish [paqad – comes as the Chief Overseer of the earth, to] you? for you have taught them [the rulers of the darkness] to be captains, and as chief over you: shall not sorrows take you, as a woman in travail [readied to bring forth the seed of David, the seed of Joseph his ‘adown]?
22 And if you say in your heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of your iniquity are your skirts discovered, and your heels made bare.
23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may you also do good, that are accustomed to do evil [whose flesh mind is stained by darkness and misled you into desolation and tribulation].
24 Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passes away by the wind of [their false doctrines: corruption they learned, which brought them into] the wilderness.
25 This is your lot [of those who refuse to hear His voice and obey His commands], the portion of your measures from me, says the LORD; because you have forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.
Amos 9
8 Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.
9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel [the people who receive Me and My promise] among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom [the enemies mixed among us at war with us while calling it peace], and of all the heathen [who refuse to know Me], which are called by my name, says the LORD that does this.
Psalms 27
A Psalm of David
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength [understanding] of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though a host [an army] should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When you said, Seek you my face [paniym – presence]; my heart said unto you, Your face [paniym – presence], LORD, will I seek.
9 Hide not your face [paniym – presence] far from me; put not your servant away in anger: you have been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies.
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of my enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart [give understanding into the minds of those who]: wait, I say, on the LORD.
