And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
The above, Mark 1:22, occurs in Capernaum, a Hebrew name from the words kaphar and nachum.
Their Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary definitions are:
Strong’s #3723: kaphar: from 3722 [kaphar – in context meaning to cover, to remove, to placate or cancel; most often translated “to make an atonement”]; a village (as protected by walls):– village.
Strong’s #5162: nacham: a primitive root; properly, to sigh, i.e. breathe strongly; by implication, to be sorry, i.e. (in a favorable sense) to pity, console or (reflexively) rue; or (unfavorably) to avenge (oneself):– comfort (self), ease (one’s self), repent(-er,-ing, self).
The word kaphar (3723) only appears twice, both times rendered “in the villages,” speaking of the place of “atonement.” It first appears in 1 Chronicles 27:25 and after in Song of Solomon 7:11.
1 Chronicles 27
25 And over the king’s treasures [‘owtsar, the armory, holding this hidden understanding] was Azmaveth [the strength to overcome death] the son of Adiel [adorning, putting on, these treasures of God]: and over the storehouses [‘owtsar – sent from their hiding place in this time of spiritual warfare] in the fields [sadeh – spread, in this exposition, before all God’s people], in the cities [‘iyr – guarded against corruption by those seeing the LORD and walking, as disciples, with Him in His work], and in the villages [kaphar – to make an atonement], and in the castles [migdal – the towers, those raised by seeing His coming], was Jehonathan [by this gift given by Jehovah] the son of Uzziah [which, understanding, is the strength of Jehovah]:
Song of Solomon 7
1 How beautiful are your feet [ways of the LORD’s people] with shoes [ na’al – from na’al, “a spring shut up, a fountain sealed,” as in Song of Solomon 4:12], O prince’s daughter! the joints of your thighs are like jewels [chaliy – as the obedient joined with a wise reprover; the understanding you’ve received, as the treasure, are joined into a concise and precise awareness], the work of the hands of a cunning workman.
2 Your navel [covering, source from where life flows] is like a round goblet [as a cup filled by the LORD], which wants not liquor [lacking not this water turned to wine]: your belly [this hell, holding you before our birth] is like a heap of wheat [chittah, with affinity to Chittim, speaking of this message sent to the good seed] set about with lilies [as the LORD’s trumpet calling all to gather to His salvation; showshannah, hosanna: God’s protected people now saved, saying “blessed is he that comes in the name of the LORD”].
3 Your two breasts [the power of the Almighty flowing into the righteous and the wicked] are like two young roes [tsbiyah – are as armies arrayed] that are twins [ta’own – other than here and above, only used twice, in Genesis 25:25 & 38:27, the first speaking of Jacob and Esau, the other of Tamar’s children Pharez (breach) and Zarah (rising) whose hand came out of the womb {beten – belly, like hell, were the living unborn wait to be born again: raised} and a scarlet thread was tied around his hand {work} before he pulled it back and his brother was born first. As we know, Tamar {palm tree} and her two children are mentioned in Matthew’s recording of Jesus’ bloodline {generation}, which he records {Matthew 1:3} continuing through Pharez. The LORD’s bloodline continues in Zarah, in His resurrection, referred to in the only use of the word zerach {meaning “a rising of light”}, from where the name comes. Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen {zarach – from zerach} upon you. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise {zarach} upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising {zerach}.].
4 Your neck is as a tower of ivory [words waiting to be spoken were seen coming and are in your mouth as teeth with which you devour dead flesh]; your eyes like the fish-pools in Heshbon [the things you’ve seen, life below these written words’ surface, are your stronghold], by the gate of Bathrabbim [the way out of hell into heaven for the multitude of scattered churches]: your nose is as the tower of Lebanon [perceiving these things as purity from the Highest] which looks toward Damascus [is sight for those who remain drunken with pride and therefore silent in sorrow].
5 Your head [leadership] upon you is like Carmel [is a nation of gardens], and the hair of your head [this understanding that has enlarged your mind] like purple [of a virtuous woman: church]; the king is held in the galleries [the king is there joined with you in this watering].
6 How fair and how pleasant are you, O love, for delights!
7 This your stature [gowmah – highness] is like to a palm tree [tamar], and your breasts [your nourishing your children] to clusters of grapes.
8 I said, I will go up to the palm tree [tamar], I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also your breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of your nose [your deep perception] like apples [tappuwach, the fruit of a good tree];
9 And the roof of your mouth [speaking this word] like the best wine [saved for last] for my beloved, that goes down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak. [What part of this is hard to understand?].
10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me [I and the children the LORD has given me].
11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field [the earth wherein the LORD has planted us]; let us lodge in the villages [kaphar – in this atonement].
12 Let us get up early [awake from our sleep in death] to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth [as in Luke 21:29, when we see the fig tree and all the trees, bring forth new life, you know the kingdom of God is at hand]: there will I give you my loves.
13 The mandrakes [duwday – the baskets of fruit] give a smell [by which we perceive its presence], and at our gates [this word of God] are all manner of pleasant [meged] fruits, new and old, which I have laid up [tsaphan – as treasure reserved for this moment] for you, O my beloved [dowd – David, I Am].
Jeremiah 24
1 The LORD showed me, and, behold, two baskets [duwday] of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon [the lies of false prophets and false teachers that carried all into the desolation and confusion that now rules the world] had carried away captive Jeconiah [who Jehovah will establish] the son of Jehoiakim [who Jehovah raises up] king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon [to this world ruled by confusion and delusion].
2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are [now] first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty [ra’ – evil] figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad [roa’].
3 Then said the LORD unto me, What see you, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil [ra’], very evil [ra’], that cannot be eaten, they are so evil [roa’].
4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans [among those using their words to oppress and manipulate into evil] for their good.
6 For I will set my eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land [‘erets – the new earth]: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
7 And I will give them a heart [a mind] to know me, that I Am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart [mind].
John 2
1 And the third day [this resurrection day] there was a marriage [all joining the LORD in His ONE BODY] in Cana [reeds – reaching the limit of humanity, where the proud waves are stayed] of Galilee [circuit – this end of the age, and beginning the new heaven and earth, in His inner circle who’ve received the understanding He’s given: the wheel with the wheel: this understand sent to give understanding]; and the mother [those who must rebel against the corrupt status quo, and be filled with His Spriit] of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples [students], to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine [this word that, aging, fills them with the Spirit, and changes men’s minds], the mother of Jesus says unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus says unto her, Woman [church], what have I to do with you? my hour is not yet come.
5 His mother said [as the church should be saying] unto the servants, Whatsoever he says unto you, [obey and] do it.
6 And there were set there six [the number of man] waterpots [hudria – vessels for holding rainwater] of stone [men from whom this understanding will flow], after the manner of the purifying [for washing away corruption] of the Jews [Judah – those now leading God’s people who call themselves believers], containing two or three firkins apiece.
7 Jesus says unto them, Fill the waterpots with water [the written word sent from heaven, in which is hidden all understanding, reserved there for this time of Christs’ War]. And they filled them up to the brim [ano – an eight times used word, speaking of this filling as what lifts us above the corrupt world into life].
8 And he says unto them, Draw out now [antieo – as living waters flowing from your bellies; referring to John 7:38 below], and bear unto the governor [architriklinos – those awakened by the power of the Father on this third day] of the feast. And they [obeying as commanded] bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was [from the LORD of whom they are ignorant]: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And say unto him, Every man at the beginning does set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse [leaving men in a worse condition than when they first heard]: but you have kept the good wine until now.
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples [students] believed on him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum [the place of the Comforter, the Paraclete, I Am, who the Father has sent to lead His people into all truth, in this new heaven and earth, wherein dwells righteousness], he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples [all doing the Father’s will]: and they continued there not many days [“for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children”].
13 And the Jews’ [the leaders of God’s people] passover [from death into life] was at hand, and Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh] went up [is risen] to Jerusalem [among God’s people at large, into whom His word, teaching, will flow].
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves [fictitious tales of the end time], Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house [where this word should be freely given] a house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of your house has eaten me up. [This is quoted from Psalms 69:9, after verse 8 says, “I am become [as a Holy Ghost] a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.”]
18 Then answered the Jews [the current crop of corrupt leaders] and said unto him, What sign show you unto us, seeing that you do these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple [My ONE BODY, as they have], and in three days I will raise it up.
Hosea 13
9 O Israel, you have destroyed yourself; but in me is your help.
10 I will be your king: where is any other that may save you in all your cities? and your judges of whom you said, Give me a king and princes?
11 I gave you a king in my anger, and took him away in my wrath.
12 The iniquity of Ephraim [all God’s people in these last days, who are a “double ash-heap: I shall be doubly fruitful”] is bound up; his sin is hid.
13 The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
14 I will [by removing corruption and awakening to put on immortality] ransom them from the power of the grave [sheol – hell, this habitation of the dead, in the earth]; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be your plagues; O grave [sheol – hell], I will be your destruction: repentance [nocham – only used here, meaning, I will never desist, and nothing] shall be hid from my eyes.
15 Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his [corrupt] spring shall become dry, and his [corrupt] fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the [corrupt] treasure of all pleasant vessels [removing them from the people to which they brought death].
16 Samaria [those worshipping idols men created, put in My place, and call by My name] shall become desolate; for she has rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword [this word of God upon those who refuse it]: their infants [those being nourish by the corrupt flowing from them] shall be dashed in pieces, and their women [their corrupt churches] with child shall be ripped up [baqa’ – freeing those cleaving to their corruption].
John 7
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem [all God people at large], Is not this he, whom they seek to kill [with their words make dead like all the others they made dead]?
26 But, lo, he speaks boldly [this life-giving water], and they say nothing unto him. Do the [corrupt] rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?
27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ comes, no man knows whence [where or when] he is [as it is this day].
28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, “You both know me, and you know whence [where and when] I Am: and I Am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not.
29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he has sent me.”
30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, “When Christ comes, will he do more miracles than these which this man has done?”
32 The Pharisees [the religious leaders who’ve scattered the flock] heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.
33 Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
34 You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.
35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
36 What manner of saying is this that he said, You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither you cannot come?
37 In the last day [this ‘achariyth], that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost [the LORD in them working and speaking, unknown to the ignorant not knowing Him] was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
John 8
20 These words spoke Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple [He is now raising]: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour [to be lifted above all others] was not yet come.
21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, you cannot come.
22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he say, Where I go [where I Am lifted above], you cannot come.
23 And he said unto them, You are from beneath; I am from above [ano]: you are of this [corrupt] world; I Am not of this [corrupt] world.
24 I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins [as all have]: for if you believe not that I Am he, you shall die in your sins [as all have by their unbelief, refusing to obey these life-giving waters].
25 Then said they unto him, Who are you? And Jesus says unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the [corrupt and dead] world those things which I have heard of him.
27 They understood not that he spoke to them of the Father.
28 Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man [exalting, above all other voices, this word of my Father flowing from me], then shall you know that I Am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.
29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone [He is alive with me, in me]; for I do always those things that please him.
30 As he spoke these words, many believed on him.
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews [the new crop of godly leaders] which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples [students, I have disciplined] indeed;
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 11
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man [Lazarus – the priesthood] should not have died?
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself comes to the grave [this earth where the dead are housed]. It was a cave [in the earth], and a stone lay [mouths of corruption held them therein] upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take you away the stone [of corruption, the words of men that are the gates of hell]. Martha [rebelling against the status quo], the sister of him that was dead, say unto him, LORD, by this time he stinks [by which we perceive he is dead]: for he has been dead four days.
40 Jesus says unto her, Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you shouldest see the glory of God [manifested in raising the dead]?
41 Then they took away the stone [of corruption] from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up [ano – filled him with these words of life] his eyes [these two words, “his eyes,” don’t appear in the original text], and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
42 And I knew that you hear me always: but because of the people which stand by I [out loud] said it, that they may believe that you have sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice [the voice of the arch-messenger, as a trumpet], Lazarus [the dead priesthood, now cleansed, as a brand plucked from the fire, as in Zachariah 3:2], come forth [come forth to the Father who is above the world, as in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 & 17].
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus says unto them, Loose him, and let him go [from the garments corrupted by death, so he can put on the garments of the cleansed priesthood, as in Zachariah 3:5].
45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary [the church that rebelled against the status quo, and has seen all these things], and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees [the old corrupt priesthood, who scattered the dead bones of God’s people], and told them what things Jesus had done.
47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many miracles.
48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans [Babylon, the confusion that now rules the insane world] shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49 And one of them, named Caiaphas [the prominent voices among the corrupt], being the high priest that same year, said unto them, You know nothing at all,
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die [be destroyed by their words] for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51 And this spoke he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die [this voice exalted so the corrupt mass media can destroy me] for that nation;
52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to [with their words] put him to death.
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews [the corrupt]; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim [where He is, I Am, with this generation, in those who receive this word as His word], and there continued with his disciples [students who receive this course correction].
55 And the Jews’ passover [raising new leaders from death into life] was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves [of the corruption, the leaven of the dead institutions].
56 Then sought they for Jesus, and spoke among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think you, that he will not come to the feast?
57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees [the old and corrupt religious institution] had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should show it, that they might take him [to destroy Him with their word].
Acts 2
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What means this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, You men of Judaea [Judah], and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; [in Joel 2:28 – 32, after saying it is when He, in this feast, restores all that was devoured by the destroyers, verse 27 says, “And you shall know that I Am in the midst of Israel, and that I Am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.”]
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days [the ‘achar{iyth}] say God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [speaking these words, this message, I’ve put in their mouths, speaking with this full understanding to all], and your young men shall see visions [see as the LORD see], and your old men shall dream dreams [these new things I am creating in their minds, making all things new again]:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days [this time of light] of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will show wonders in heaven above [ano – from there filling them and lift them there with Me], and signs in the [old and corrupt] earth beneath; blood [draining life from humanity], and fire [of hell, caused the corruption and insanity men follow], and vapor [the elements of understanding separated and removed] of smoke [from the bottomless pit, the endless fall away from God and truth, by which all its institutions are darkened]:
20 The sun [the church] shall be turned into darkness [without this understanding], and the moon [civil governments] into blood [draining the life from humanity], before the great and notable day [this time of light, this understanding and life] of the LORD come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.
22 You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God [alive in him] did by him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by [ekdotes – only used here, meaning made the giver of] the determinate [horizo – the place from where His light rises] counsel [boula – at His will] and foreknowledge [prognosis] of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: [the word dotes only appears once, in 2 Corinthians 9:7, verses 6 & 7 saying “But this I say, He which sows {this word} sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows {this word} bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves {agapao – gives these treasure, gifts of His grace, to} a cheerful giver {dotes}.]
24 Whom God has raised up [from among the dead], having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it.
25 For David speaks [in Psalms 16::8 – 11] concerning him, “I foresaw the LORD always before my face [present with me, in me], for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the ways of life; you shall make me full of joy with your countenance [realizing Your presence].”
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God [by His prognosis] had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ [in the flesh] to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before [by the foreknowledge of God given to him] spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted [His voice in him above all other voices], and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost [Himself speaking and working unknown, to reveal Himself], he has shed forth this, which you now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he says himself, The LORD said unto my LORD, Sit you on my right hand,
35 Until I make your foes your footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel [all God’s people who receive Him and His promise] know assuredly, that God has made the same Jesus, whom you have crucified, both LORD and Christ.
Nahum 1
1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum [nacham – the comforter, leading us into all truth] the Elkoshite [who is also God the ensnarer, speaking and working among us unknown, to reveal Himself].
2 God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan languishes, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languishes.
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.
8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end [kalah] of the place thereof, and darkness [their own ignorance] shall pursue his enemies.
9 What do you imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end [kalah]: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
10 For while they be folded together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.
11 There is one come out of you, that imagines evil [ra’] against the LORD, a wicked counselor [ya’ats].
12 Thus says the LORD; Though they be quiet [shalam – though they think their power is secure], and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down [gazaz], when he shall pass through [‘abar – passing over to bring us from death into life]. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
13 For now will I break his yoke [of the wicked joined among you] from off you, and will burst your bonds in sunder.
14 And the LORD has given a commandment concerning you, that no more of your name be sown: out of the house of your gods will I cut off [karath] the graven image and the molten image: I will make your grave; for you are vile.
15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows [neder]: for the wicked shall no more pass through you [‘abar – no longer bring the living into death]; he is utterly cut off [karath].
1 Corinthians 15
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed [allasso],
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye [seeing this light], at the last trump [this voice of the LORD’s archangel]: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed [allasso].
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave [sheol – hell], where is your victory?
Mark 1
22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes [who falsely claim they know the written word].
23 And there was in their synagogue a man [represent these scribes] with an unclean spirit [of corruption that defiled the pure word]; and he cried out,
24 Saying, ”Let us alone; what have we to do with you, you Jesus of Nazareth [the guarded one; who the Father protects and defends from men’s corruption]? are you come to destroy us? I [now] know you who you are, the Holy One of God.”
25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Hold your peace [silence the gates holding men in hell], and come [with your corruption] out of him.”
26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him [sparasso – drawn him into open sight, into the light], and cried with a loud [megas – speaking the LORD’s] voice, he came out of him.
27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commands he even the unclean spirits [as frogs before hidden below the surface of their word in God’s name], and they do obey [hupakouo – meaning “to hear under (as a subordinate), i.e. to listen attentively; by implication, to heed or conform to a command or authority”] him.
28 And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee [those understanding the wheel, and by it coming to the light].
Galatians 4
19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you [not hearing the signs of life, wondering if the LORD is risen in you yet].
21 Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, do you not hear the [uncorrupted] law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise [this end, by faith in the LORD’s presence speaking to and working in you, now reached].
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai [among thorns, misleaders who only partially know the law and therefore add their ignorance corrupting it], which genders to bondage, which is Agar [said to mean flight; from hegeh; a three times used word, as in Psalms 90:9, speaking of God’s people, when they are without Him and His understanding, verses 8 & 9 saying “You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your countenance {presence}. For all our days are passed away in your wrath: we spend our years as a tale {hegeh} that is told.”].
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to [old and corrupt] Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage [held in corruption] with her children.
26 But [New Heavenly] Jerusalem [into whom this understanding, the LORD’s teaching, flows] which is above [ano – filled and lifted into life] is free, which is the mother [bringing us up into manhood] of us all.
27 For it is written [in Isaiah 54:1], Rejoice, you barren that bears not; break forth and cry, you that travail not: for the desolate [brough up by thorns] has many more children than she which has [the LORD as] a husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of [this] promise[d end].
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what say the scripture [in Genesis 21:10]? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir [of this world] with the son of the free woman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
Galatians 5
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has [by this truth] made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage [joined with the ignorant who refuse this truth and thereby condemn themselves to perdition].
Philippians 3
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things [to which I was in bondage and separated from the LORD’s truth] but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my LORD: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ [the LORD alive in our flesh, through His word effectually working to bring us to this promised end], the righteousness which is of God by faith [in His presence with us, in us]:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death [for speaking this word of the LORD, in His name, His identity];
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained [not that He is already known, resurrected, alive, in me], either were already perfect[ed in His revelation of Himself]: but I follow after [His leading], if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high [ano – filled and lifted by] calling of God in Christ Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation realized, manifested, in the flesh of those perfected].
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16 Nevertheless, whereto [this understanding] we have already attained [where we now stand], let us walk [stiecheo – meaning “to march in (military) rank (keep step), i.e. (figuratively) to conform to virtue and piety:–walk (orderly),” and not according to the corrupt element, rudiments, stoicheion, of the world, which melt away in the fire they cause] by the same rule [kanon – canon], let us mind [phroneo – exercise our mind, working out corrupt, to reach] the same thing [the mind of Christ, our perfection in the LORD, and He in us].
17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and [understanding this good fruit] mark them which walk so as you have us for an ensample.
18 (For many walk [in the way of the corrupt elements of the world, misleading the many who follow them], of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ [in us, long suffering to speak this truth in the Father’s name]:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly [the hell into which they swallow and hold all their followers], and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 For our conversation [in the LORD’s presence] is in heaven; from whence [in this conversation at His mercy seat] also we look for the Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the [effectual] working [of His word in us] whereby he is able even to subdue [hupotasso – meaning “to subordinate; reflexively, to obey”] all things unto himself.
Colossians 3
1 If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above [ano – those things with which He has filled and lifted us], where Christ sit on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection [phroneo – your exercised mind] on things above [ano – that fill and lift others], not on [the corrupt] things on the earth.
3 For you are dead [until He is risen in you], and your life is hid [krupto – this is the cover removed in the apocalypse: meaning taking away the cover] with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear [phaneroo], then shall you also appear [phaneroo] with him in glory.
5 Mortify [nekroo – deaden] therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, [all of] which is idolatry [worshipping corruption]:
6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience [who refuse to obey His truth, His good leading]:
7 In the which [refusing to obey] you also walked some time, when you lived in them.
8 But now you also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth [all of which is worshipping corruption].
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old [corrupt] man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man [wherein dwells the LORD’s righteousness, His mind, by which His Glory is revealed: Him alive in us, with us], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.
14 And above all these things put on charity [agape – giving the same word as received], which is the bond of perfectness [what joins us together in this resurrection of the dead].
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in ONE BODY; and be you thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts [this gift in your minds] to the LORD.
17 And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name [identity] of the LORD Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
All following is from the post of 6 March 2024.
Psalms 34
1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [shama’ – hear it as His voice and obey] thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name [identity] together.
4 I sought the LORD, and he heard [‘anah – responded, with His voice, to] me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened [given understanding, wherein is our way forward into new life]: and their faces were not ashamed [not disappointed, realizing He is our promised end].
6 This poor man [without worldly power] cried, and the LORD heard [shama’] him [heard his obedience, the product of their understanding], and saved him out of all his troubles [tsarah – tribulation]. [Romans 10: 8 But what says it {Deuteronomy 30:14, speaking of how the LORD comes from heaven and is raised from death out of hell}? The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart {from your mind revealed in your spoken thought}: that is, the word of faith {by which you are saved, and raised with Him}, which we preach; 9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus, and shall believe in your heart {mind} that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. 10 For with the heart {mind} man believes unto righteousness {correct, right, thinking}; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed {not disappointed}.]
7 The angel [mal’ak – messenger, the cherubim manifesting His presence at the mercy seat] of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.
8 O taste [these words] and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
9 O fear the LORD, you his saints [qadowsh – His holy place, wherein He dwells and from where He is manifested present]: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 The young lions do lack, and [without His word] suffer hunger: but they that [diligently, in faith] seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. [Hebrews 11: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.]
11 Come, you children [born again by our Father’s correction], hearken unto [shama’ – and hearing His voice, obey] me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile [deception, fraud].
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace [that only flows from the Father’s teaching], and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous [those not speaking evil or guile, but according to this good word from the mouth of the LORD], and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face [paniym – presence] of the LORD is against them that do evil [misleading the sheep], to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles [tsarah – the current tribulation, hell on earth, which the dead, the ignorant, deny and think is normal].
18 The LORD is near unto them that are of a broken heart [minds realizing they strayed into death]; and saves such as be of a contrite [dakka’ – meaning powder, as in, realizing they are a product of the afflictions that ruined, crushed, the earth’s] spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones [from being crushed into powder]: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
The word dakka’ appears only two other times: in Psalms 90:3, it is rendered “destruction,” and in Isaiah 57:15, it speaks of those who “are of a contrite” and humble spirit (able and willing to be corrected).
Psalms 90
1 LORD, you have been our dwelling place [ma’own, literally asking, what ‘own, meaning “(in the sense of effort, but successful); ability, power, (figuratively) wealth:–force, goods, might, strength, substance” {in us}] in all generations. [1 John 4:12 No man has seen God at any time. If we love {agapao – giving His word as received, as His, to} one another, God dwells in us, and his love {agape – his word received as His} is perfected {teleioo – “to complete, i.e. (literally) accomplish, or (figuratively) consummate (in character):–consecrate, finish, fulfil, make) perfect.”} in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit {His presence with us unknown, leading us into all truth, and, in the process, revealing Himself as the ONE, the Father in His children doing the work and speaking}. 14 And we have seen and do testify {unto salvation} that the Father sent the Son {His children, His ONE flesh BODY in which He dwells} to be the Savior of the world.]
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
3 You turn man to destruction [dakka’ – bringing his ways to ruin, to humble him, the contrite, into knowing his need for correction]; and say, Return [to Me], you children of men.
4 For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past [any given time past is perceived as a percentage of the total time of consciousness], and as a watch in the night [awake while man sleeps in ignorance waiting for this day to come].
5 You carry them away [into darkness] as with a flood [of their own ignorance]; they are as a sleep [in death]: in the morning [when understanding comes as the light of a new day] they are like grass which grows up [new life rising out of the earth, out of the belly of hell].
6 In the morning [when light has come] it flourish, and grows up [chalaph – as a change of garment, their flesh cover]; in the evening [when darkness, ignorance, returns] it is cut down [muwl – circumcised, their worthless flesh is removed], and withers [as it now has].
7 For we are consumed by your anger, and by your wrath [this word sent to the dead who reject it] are we troubled.
8 You have set our iniquities before you [making them known and correcting them away], our secret “sins in the light” [ma’owr – the power, in us effectually working Your revelation, and working out iniquity] of your countenance [paniym – by Your presence].
9 For all our days [man’s false understanding] are passed away [panah – appear] in your wrath [this word the ignorant reject]: we spend our years [shaneh – changes] as a tale [hegeh – man’s thoughts, the muttering of fools] that is told.
10 The days [man’s false understanding] of our years [shaneh – of his evolution] are threescore years and ten [when Divine order returns]; and if by reason of strength [men in power] they be fourscore years [only understood after His perfecting in the New Creation], yet is their strength [men in power] labor and sorrow; for it [the wicked in power] is soon cut off [guwz], and we fly away [these last words refer to the only other time guwz is used, in Numbers 11:31, saying, of the wicked powers that, as quals, are taken away by the LORD’s Almighty Spirit, and fall around us, “And there went forth a wind {His Almighty Spirit} from the LORD, and brought {quwz – cut off} quails from the sea {people at large, who they, by their evil, misled}, and let them fall {natash – be beaten down} by the camp, as it were a day’s journey {derek – a conversation giving understanding} on this side {then}, and as it were a day’s journey {a conversation giving light, as a wheel within a wheel, received} on the other side {now}, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits {‘ammah – mother, a teacher who raises us} high upon the face of {paniym – in the LORD’s presence on} the earth.”].
11 Who knows the power of your anger [Your word, the scourging that effectually works in those who receive it as Your word working out of them corruption]? even according to your fear, so is your wrath [giving this word, even to those who reject it, warning them they are, by refusing to receive it as My word, destroying themselves].
12 So teach us to number [assess] our days [the things you think you know], that we may apply our hearts [minds] unto [Your] wisdom.
13 Return [to the sight of Your people], O LORD, how long? and let it repent you concerning your servants. [Galatians 4:18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. 19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, 20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you {while I wait patiently for your conversion, when your mouths are opened as is necessary for the world’s good}.]
14 O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days [when full understanding comes and is, to the world, apparent in your opened mouths].
15 Make us glad according [as promised during the time of correction] to the days wherein [while all were still in ignorance of the LORD’s presence] you have afflicted us, and the years [shaneh] wherein we have seen evil [which produced our change, evolution].
16 Let your work [changing us] appear unto your servants, and your glory [Your apparent presence in us] unto their children.
17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish you the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands [in us] establish you it [to the world through us].
Isaiah 57
11 And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? have not I held my peace [not speaking] even of old, and you fear me not [now that I have spoken against you]?
12 I will declare your [self-presumed, falsely so-called] righteousness, and your works; for they shall not profit you.
13 When you cry [to Me], let your companies deliver you; but the wind [My Almighty Spirit] shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that puts his trust in me shall possess the land [‘erets – the earth], and shall inherit my holy mountain;
14 And shall say, Cast you up, cast you up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-block [of men’s corruption] out of the way of my people.
15 For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite [dakka’] and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive [chayah – quicken from death into life] the heart [minds] of the contrite [daka’] ones.
16 For I will not contend forever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me [in the darkness of their ignorance], and was wroth, and he went on frowardly [twisting and perverting truth] in the way of his heart [mind].
18 I have seen his [blind and lame] ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also [into all truth], and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off [rachowq – those here in the time when the world is ruled by the unrighteous decrees of evil men in power], and to him that is near [destruction], says the LORD; and I will heal him.
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea [constantly agitated and agitating], when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt [destroying all truthful discourse].
21 There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.
As we’ve seen, in the post of 27 February 2017, per (as it pertains to) Psalms 119 in the previous post, the word chayah, a product of the dakka’ (daka’), is the LORD’s effectual work in us bringing the contrite from death into life: by bringing us from ignorance (taught by corrupt men) into His light (taught by our incorruptible God).
Now I ask the proud again, are you better (holier than) the one the Father calls the Holy One, who you call your LORD as you worship idols you created and put in His place, while you (witnessing against yourselves) prove yourselves ignorant of Him and His way?
As we’ve seen, the LORD suffered this scourging (daka’), which Paul speaks of many times, which Isaiah foretold, as Psalms 119 does of the affliction of God’s children, which (tribulation – evil men pressing upon us: oppressing us) turn us again to Him, purging us of (His word effectually working out of us) corruption into life.
Hebrews 2 (after describing the messengers the LORD sends, led by the son He filled full, through whom He speaks in these last days, as flames of fire sent to minister this word to those who inherit Salvation), in context, says:
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to [obey] the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels [His messengers sent] was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3 How [if we refuse to obey] shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the LORD [the Father revealed in the son first, to bring all His children He has given me, to the same glory], and was confirmed [repeating the same message the LORD gave them] unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with [Isaiah 8:18, saying “I and the children the LORD has given me, are for”] signs and wonders [to His people at large], and with divers miracles [this alludes to the “divers” manner spoken of in Hebrews 1:1; of the many different ways and times, by which the Father previously spoke through men, until now when He, in the son He filled full of understanding all these divers elements, congealed them in him, into this miraculous, eye-opening, gospel], and gifts [these treasures sent] of the Holy Ghost [as He works unknown leading us into all truth], according to his own will?
5 For unto the angels has he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place [Psalms 8] testified [of the son], saying, “What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit [paqad – manifest Your presence as the Chief Overseer of the earth, in] him?
7 You madest him a little lower than the angels [as we’ve seen, the words here are chacer ‘elohiym, telling us the son is intentionally sent lacking the full knowledge of God; the Psalm then saying this is planned so the son {I Am: His presence in this moment manifested in the flesh He’s chosen} can be crowned by the Father with His understanding: revelation only known to the Father]; you crowned him with glory and honor, and did set him over the works of your hands:
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we [in our blindness] see not yet [that] all things [are] put under him [not hearing and obeying this word as the Father’s voice, as it is].
9 But we [again] see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death [sent without understanding], [now, when we see Him again] crowned with glory and honor [raised to life by the light of the Father in him]; that he by the grace of God should taste death [and be raise from it] for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain [archegos – only used three other times; in Acts 3:15, speaking of the son as the “Prince” of life, who the religious and civil power denied, conspired against, and killed; Acts 5:31 as the risen “Prince” who is seated at the Father’s right hand {from where Habakkuk 3:4 says, in this writing, comes His hidden power as rays of light}; and Hebrews 12:2 saying He is “the Author and Finisher of our Faith”] of their salvation perfect [teleioo – made complete, filled full] through sufferings [the same affliction, tribulation, doubting the LORD is present, the daka’, that, through proof of him {I Am}, makes us ready, willing, to be quickened from corruption into life].
11 For both he that sanctifies [purges us from corruption, making us holy] and they who are sanctified [purged and made holy] are all of one [Body of Christ]: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 Saying, I will declare your name [identity] unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing [repeating the words You’ve given me] praise unto you.
13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me [when our mouths are opened with His words, are for signs and wonders to God’s people at large].
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he [the Father] also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death [coming lacking understanding] he might [self-manifesting His light, life, in the flesh, to] destroy him that had the power of [to deceive men into ignorance of God and to instead follow them into] death, that is, the devil [the misleaders who put themselves in His place];
15 And deliver them [the misled] who through fear of death [not understanding it is a state of mind], were all their lifetime subject to bondage [but you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free from death].
16 For truly he took not on him the nature of angels [a mere messenger given a message]; but he took on him the seed of Abraham [to which the LORD promised a son, an heir who would become as many as the sand of the shore and the stars of heaven].
17 Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren [born into dead flesh here in hell], that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted [to doubt the Father’s presence with him here in hell, to from it raise us], he is able to succor [rescue] them that are tempted [to doubt Him].
Psalms 8
A Psalm of David
1 O LORD [Jehovah], our LORD [‘adown – our king], how excellent is your name [identity] in all the earth! who have set [nathan – given] your glory [Your manifested presence] above the heavens [the places where understanding should be found].
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings [declaring Your word as You commanded, saying “Hosanna {save now}, Blessed is he who comes in the name {identity} of the LORD] have you ordained strength because of your enemies, that you might still [shabath – sabbath: interrupting their work, putting them to silence so Your correction is heard above all other voices of] the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens [this understanding You’ve given to us], the work of your fingers, the moon [just civil government; ruling as You rule, with truth and equal justice] and the stars [Your people in this new heaven, filled with Your light here on earth, wherein dwells righteousness], which you have ordained [kuwn – prepared, raised, and established];
4 What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit [paqad] him?
5 For you have made him a little lower than [chacer – lacking the understanding] the angels [‘elohiym – of God], and have crowned him with [Your] glory and [Your] honor [His understanding given to and through me].
6 You made him to have dominion [mashal – rule] over the works of your hands [referring to this light given from there]; you have put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen [Your flock], yea, and the beasts of the field [the dead in the earth, those without Your Spirit];
8 The fowl of the air [those who, by Your strength, rise into the place where understanding should be found], and the fish of the sea [the life unseen and found below the surface of the waters of the earth], and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas [man on his unknowing journey through generations].
9 O LORD our LORD, how excellent is your name [identity] in all the earth!
