Thus says the LORD of hosts; Turn you unto me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, says the LORD of hosts.
The above is the LORD, through (in) Zechariah, speaking to His people about His displeasure with those before them who led them into self-destruction. It comes after (like here and now) the nation was destroyed from within (by worshipping idols, men’s creations, put in the LORD’s place), and they were held captive under the control of their enemies for seventy years.
The LORD (like now) addresses His people (who’ve turned from Him), identifying Himself as the LORD of hosts, speaking of His position as the Chief of the army of heaven, and Himself as a man of war. The idea of war relates to Him (once He’s begun), not stopping until He’s achieved His objectives and His enemies are vanquished.
As we know, Zechariah (those who remember, zakar, Jehovah), in chapters 3 & 4, tells of Him (the LORD) reestablishing His government on the earth, first cleansing the priesthood (described as Joshua, Jesus: Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in living, cleansed, flesh) and then civil government (Zerubbabel, those born again by coming out of confusion).
In chapter 3, the enemy is identified as Satan standing at the right hand of the priesthood to “resist” (from the word satan) the LORD’s work. Against him, the LORD says, “The LORD rebuke you, O Satan; even the LORD that has chosen [New Heavenly] Jerusalem rebukes you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?”
The word “chosen” is from the Hebrew word bachar, meaning “properly, to try, i.e. (by implication) select.” The word reveals the LORD assessing His people in the fire (the trial) to determine who He will use and who He will (those opposing Him) rebuke. As we know, those “plucked” (natsal) are the same Paul speaks of (in 1 Thessalonians 4:17) as “caught up” (harpazo) into heaven.
This (harpazo) is the LORD choosing, in the preparation, who He will use, “seizing” them to Himself and away from the possession of Satan (who rules hell on earth). This event is (as now) when He is working here on the earth, seizing minds, mustering His army, out of (cleansing from) confusion into full understanding (into heaven with Him on the earth). (And among those the LORD rebukes are those resisting Him: still taking His name in vain and preaching an off-the-planet “rapture.”)
Jude 1
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, does not bring against him a railing accusation, but says, “The LORD rebukes you.”
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (who killed his brother, and why did he kill him? because his {Abel’s} words and works were more righteous than his and were accepted by God) and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward (who hired himself out to curse God’s people, which {curse} God turned into a blessing), and perished in the gainsaying of Core (Korah, who opposed the declared will of God, spoken from the flesh of His choosing, and for it was swallowed by the earth).
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity [agape – giving this word of God as received], when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [where understanding should be found] they are without water [without the true word of God in them], carried about of winds [of false doctrine]; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars [planets, without fixed positions, deceiving those trying to navigate in the darkness], to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness [their own ignorance] forever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints [whose lot is cast into this evil time, at the LORD’s will],
15 To execute judgment [krisis – forcing men to decide between good and evil] upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly [who are as proud waves raging against the truth] among them of all their ungodly deeds [the work of evil we now see and know] which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches [skleros] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. [In this verse the LORD gives us the key to victory, the choice is between them and us, the repulsive reality they themselves uncover, the truly weird, abnormal, evil in them, in this apocalypse.]
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth [devouring as serpents and whales] speaking great swelling words, having men’s [perverse] persons in admiration [condemning or forgiving] because of advantage [their positions of worldly power over God’s people].
17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time [these last days we know are upon us], who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves [from the LORD, saying they are holier than He], sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up [edifying] yourselves [accepting the change, putting] on your most holy faith [which was once delivered, the first dominion, to His saints appearing with Him], praying in the Holy Ghost [revealing the LORD, unknown to the ungodly, in and through you speaking and working].
21 Keep [protect] yourselves in the love [agape – by giving this word] of God [with us, in us], looking for the mercy [correction and not destruction] of our LORD Jesus Christ [manifested in His unrelenting conversation here above His mercy seat] unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear [making them aware they are perishing by following the perverse ways of the wicked powers of darkness], pulling [harpazo – the word rendered “caught up” {meaning to seize} in 1 Thessalonians 4:17] them out of the [hell] fire; hating even the garment [the dead flesh] spotted [stained] by the flesh [of those spoken of in verse 12 above].
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Deuteronomy 33
20 And of Gad [the LORD’s saints as His risen army] he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwells as a lion [from whom this word is heard roaring], and tears the arm with the crown of the head [the strength of the those in power].
21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came [‘athah – the LORD arrived] with the heads of the people, he [in His army] executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.
The final use of the word ‘athah, speaking of the arrival of God, His appearing in His kingdom on the earth, comes in Micah 4:8.
Micah 4
1 But in the last days [‘achariyth] it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains [His government above all others], and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow [as the waters of the sea] unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach [yarah, as in Jerusalem, yara’ shalam: flow His ways of sustainable peace and security into us, as living waters into the sea] us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion [My throne here on the earth], and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off [rachowq – this time when the earth is ruled by the evil decrees of wicked men]; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts [who is a man of righteous war] has spoken it.
5 For all people [if they choose] will walk everyone in the name of his god [men putting themselves in the place of the true God], and we [demonstrating His better ways and ideas] will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.
6 In that day, says the LORD, will I assemble her that halted [went lame and strayed from My high {better} way], and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted [letting them experience the consequences of following men who put themselves in My place];
7 And I will make her that halted [those who strayed] a remnant [My elect remnant in these last days, those remaining alive with me], and her that was cast far off [from Me] a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion [My kingdom on the earth, where I will dwell] from henceforth, even forever.
8 And you, O tower [you that see these things and understand what has come and is coming] of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto you shall it come [‘athah – to the LORD’s arrival], even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem [His saints into whom these living waters have flowed His life].
9 Now why do you cry out aloud? is there no king in you? is your counselor perished? for pangs have taken you as a woman in travail [to bring forth the king in your midst – I Am].
10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shall you go forth out of the city, and you shall dwell in the field, and you shall go even to Babylon [realizing and confessing the confusion in the corrupt city where you dwell apart from the LORD]; there shall you be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
11 Now also many nations [those who don’t know the LORD and therefore can’t see His presence] are gathered against you [against those that do see Him, as they are this day], that say, Let her be defiled [by their evil words and false accusations], and let our eye look upon Zion [proclaiming what their evil eye sees here in the LORD’s kingdom among them].
12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor [to be separated from His people as chaff separated from wheat].
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion [the government of God on the earth, ruling in His people]: for I will make your horn [power] iron, and I will make your hoofs brass: and you shall beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the LORD of the whole earth.
Zechariah (in chapters 1 & 2), after speaking of the workmen, those the LORD first separates from the voices misleading them, ends chapter 2 telling of His next objective.
Zechariah 2
5 For I, says the LORD, will be unto her a wall of [protective] fire round about [cabiyb – the full circuit of the LORD’s work, as Ezekiel saw as His presence in the wheels], and will be the glory in the midst of her [in His people].
6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land [‘erets] of the north [the earth covered in darkness: complete ignorance of His presence], says the LORD: for I have spread you abroad [paras – as Ezekiel 2:10; this written word sent as the LORD presence, in this exposition] as the four winds of the heaven [giving full understanding of the time, fallen condition, and mission], says the LORD. [Ezekiel 2:9 And when I looked, behold, a hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; 10: And he spread {paras} it {paniym – as His presence} before me; and it was written within {paniym – of His presence} and without {achowr – in these last days of darkness}: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.]
7 Deliver yourself, O Zion [My new government], that dwell with the daughter of Babylon [come out of confusion and be born again].
8 For thus says the LORD of hosts; After the glory [to bring it into His people at large] has he sent me unto the nations [those who haven’t known Me] which spoiled you: for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye [those the LORD has taught to see as He sees].
9 For, behold, I will shake my hand upon them [those who’ve spoiled and touched you], and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me.
10 Sing [repeat these words with me] and rejoice [showing you realized His presence with us, in us], O daughter of Zion [the LORD’s people under His rule]: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you [with you, in you], says the LORD.
11 And many nations [who haven’t known Him] shall be joined to the LORD in that day [this time when light, understanding, and life have returned], and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you. [John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. 20 At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me {agapao – receives this word as His, and obeying His commandments, gives it as received]: and he that loves {agapao} me shall be loved {agapao} of my Father, and I will love {agapao} him, and will {in this process of giving and receive Me} manifest myself {My presence} to him. 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we {by correction} the sons of God, and it does not yet appear {phaneroo – is not yet rendered apparent} what we shall be {when we open our mouths and His glory is revealed in us}: but we know that, when he shall appear {phaneroo – is rendered apparent}, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself {of blinding corruption}, even as he is pure. 4 Whosoever commits sin {misses the mark of purity} transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law {not obeying the commands of God}. 5 And you know that he was manifested {present among us} to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall {as His mercy seat, in this conversation} obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart {foundational mind}: for they shall {now again} see God.]
12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah [the leaders of My elect remnant first] his portion in the holy land [‘adamah – this last generation I Am raising as the first of My new creation], and shall choose [New Heavenly] Jerusalem [the people into whom His word has flowed, through this teaching, that is their peace and security] again.
13 Be silent, O all flesh, before [paniym – in the presence of] the LORD [His objective]: for he is raised up [‘uwr – by His own power awakened Himself in us] out of his holy habitation [ma’own – what ‘ownah – what cohabitation, the marriage, God and man joining as ONE flesh Body].
Nachum 2
1 He that dashes in pieces is come up before your face [paniym – as the presence of the LORD]: keep the munition, watch [tsaphan – look at these treasures] the [LORD’s] way, make your loins strong [receive His understanding], fortify your power [koach – the strength of the LORD] mightily.
2 For the LORD has turned away the excellency [ga’own – their glory is turned into pride] of Jacob, as the excellency [ga’own – pride] of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out [of all the LORD’s glory], and marred their vine branches [into whom once flowed this teaching, from which came forth good fruit].
3 The shield of his mighty men [who’ve received His understanding] is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees [all those the world thinks are upright] shall be terribly shaken. [Isaiah 9: 5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.]
4 [In this war] The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings [understanding coming from the cloud].
5 He shall recount [zakar – remember] his worthies [those who exalt His word]: they shall [because of the remaining corruption] stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall [protection] thereof, and the defense shall be prepared.
6 The gates [of hell, the mouths of men, holding back this word from being heard and obeyed] of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace [the current corrupt governments] shall be dissolved.
7 And Huzzab [natsab – those standing in this resurrection] shall be led away captive [galah – shall be revealed], she shall be brought up [‘alah – raised from dead flesh], and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves [like Jonah, whose word are signs of the end reached], tabering [drumming, beating] upon their breasts [lebab – the heart, quickening minds into life].
8 But Nineveh [all the perpetual sons] is of old like a pool of water [are held still and the word in them is silent]: yet they shall flee away [from those holding them]. Stand, stand [silent], shall they cry; but none shall look back [at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah].
9 Take you the spoil [plunder] of silver, take the spoil [plunder] of gold [these treasures held in silence]: for there is none end [qetseh] of the store [tkuwnah – this word prepared and rightly ordered to raise us {kuwn}, shall have no end] and glory [and the LORD revealed therein] out of all [out of our opened mouths] the pleasant [chemdah – in which He delights] furniture [kliy – as these weapons of His warfare are deployed, meaning “something prepared, i.e. any apparatus (as an implement, utensil, dress, vessel or weapon).”
10 She [the whole earth] is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melt [the corrupt foundation of the collective mind upon which all humanity bases its decisions dissolve in the fires they’ve caused], and [and in fear of this judgment day arrived, all] the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of [paniym – the presence of the LORD revealed] them all [to all humanity] gather blackness [here in the time when ignorance of Him covers the entire earth and men openly worship Satan who rules here in hell {think logically}].
11 Where is the dwelling [ma’own] of the lions [bold messengers who’ve joined themselves with the LORD and speak His word], and the feeding place [given this grace as received] of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion’s whelp, and none made them afraid?
12 The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes [the void the earth has become] with prey, and his dens with ravin [tearing in pieces the lies of their wicked possessors].
13 Behold, I Am [as a lion, an ox, and an eagle] against you [the darkness], says the LORD of hosts [I Am a man of war], and I will burn her chariots in the smoke [that has darkened the earth], and the sword [this word they refuse] shall devour your young lions [those ignorant of their own ignorance, roaring against Me]: and I will cut off [karath] your prey [tereph] from the earth, and the voice of your [evil] messengers [mal’ak – the devils, angels, delivering the words of Satan] shall no more be heard.
Friends, as foretold in Revelation 10 (and elsewhere), the word of God was sealed, meaning, by men’s additions and fabrications, the meaning is withheld, in darkness, ignorance of God and His way of revealing Himself in its revelation (the apocalypse – uncovering the meaning held therein). His way is to choose a person through whom He first reveals Himself in this way, to start the chain reaction of bringing many sons to the same glory.
This is the truth: He chose me. This happened 30 years ago when He made Himself apparent, present, interacting with my mind, and controlling the physical world around me in miraculous, supernatural, ways. Since that time, I realized He is truly alive, not only with me but in me, speaking and working, unfolding Himself, His character, through His word. So, when people have (sincerely looking for the truth) questioned me about who I think I Am, I, without equivocation, answer that I Am a man in whom, through whom, Jesus (Jehovah’s Salvation in my flesh) lives and works. You see, I know Him, and therefore know it’s Him, and the doubting of no man will dissuade me from this truth.
1 Corinthians 11
1 Be you followers of me, even as I also Am of Christ.
2 Now I praise [commend] you, brethren, [because] that you remember me in all things, and keep [katecho – are held by, possessed by] the ordinances [paradosis – these things I’ve transmitted, delivered as received], as I delivered them to you.
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered [not uncovering, bringing the apocalypse, it the LORD in Him speaking and working], dishonors his head [Christ, the LORD alive in His flesh].
5 But every woman [church] that prays or prophesies with her head uncovered [speaking words not delivered by a man confessing the LORD is alive in Him speaking and working] dishonors her head: for that is even all one [corrupting the whole body] as if she were shaven [all knowledge that should be apparent is removed]. [Romans 10:9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus, and shall believe in your heart {believe that He is alive in your mind} that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. 10 For with the heart {mind} man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed {dishonored}.]
6 For if the woman [church] be not covered [by receiving this understanding delivered as received], let her also be shorn [let that church’s ignorance be understood]: but if it be a shame for a woman [church] to be shorn or shaven [without this understanding], let her be covered [by receiving this word of the LORD].
7 For a man [having put away childish things] indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God [whom he confesses]: but the woman [church] is the glory of the man [from who the word of God is given].
8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10 For this cause ought the woman [church] to have power [this delivered word of God] on her head because of the angels [the messengers of Satan, who are without this word of God and preaching falsehood].
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman [but is given this word to give the same power to the church], neither the woman without the man [of God], in the LORD [until they are joined in the ONE BODY].
12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
13 Judge in yourselves [do you have a man of God speaking this word of God]: is it comely that a woman pray unto [converse with] God uncovered [without this understanding]? [If they speak not according to, in agreement with, this word it’s because there is no understanding {light or life} in them.]
14 Does not even nature [phusis – the things that have grown from the earth] itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair [komao – obtains, creates, his own understanding, and doesn’t receive it from God], it is a shame unto him?
15 But if a woman have long hair [komao – receives this understanding through this teaching], it is a glory to her: for her hair [kome – what the church has learned] is given her for a covering.
16 But if any man seem to be contentious [disputing and doubting this word of God], we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that you come together not for the better, but for the worse [to dispute and contend with this truth].
18 For first of all, when you come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions [schisma – scattering you into many sects by many differing opinions] among you; and I partly believe it.
19 For there must be also heresies among you [as there are], that they which are approved [dokimos – “acceptable (current after assayal), i.e. approved:–approved, tried”] may be made manifest [phaneros – become apparent] among you.
20 When you [with your opinions] come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the LORD’s supper [not giving this word He provides, but your opinions of which no man is certain].
21 For in eating every one takes before other his own supper [unreasonable men, incapable of correction, proud, steadfastly choosing their own opinions, delusions, over any other view]: and one is hungry [without this word of God], and another is drunken [ignorant and unreasonable].
22 What? have you not houses to eat and to drink in [rather than spreading your opinions as leaven corrupting the whole body of the LORD’s word and work]? or despise you the church of God, and shame them that have not [are uncertain and without understanding]? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
23 For I have received of the LORD that which also I delivered unto you, that the LORD Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed [as you betray Him here and now] took bread [the whole of the Father’s word and work in, through, Him, delivering it as received]:
24 And when he had given thanks [to the Father for delivering it to Him], he brake [rightly divided] it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body [the completed word of God made flesh], which is broken for you: this [giving, delivering it as received] do in remembrance of me [of this same manner].
25 After the same manner [hosautos] also he took the cup, when he had supped [prepared this evening meal], saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood [delivered in this sacrifice necessary to deliver it]: this do you, as oft as you drink it, in remembrance of me [of this same manner].
26 For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup [this same word in which is the power to change men’s minds], you do show the LORD’s death till he come [is manifested apparent, present, in His word received as His word]. [2 Corinthians 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the LORD Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.]
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the LORD, unworthily [anaxios], shall be guilty of [betraying] the body and blood of the LORD. [The word anaxios only appears here and in verse 29, where it speaks of discernment that only comes from this work of the LORD’s word effectually working in our minds. It refers us to the once used, almost identical, word, as it appears in 1 Corinthians 6:2, the passage, verses 2 – 4, saying “Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy {anaxios – without the LORD’s discernment} to judge the smallest matters? Know you not that we shall judge angels {the messengers, discerning if they are of God, speaking this word, or of Satan, speaking their own words}? how much more {shall we judge, spoken} things that pertain to this life? If then you have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church {despised because they rebuke Satan there sitting in the place of the Father}. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?”]
28 But let a man examine [dokimazo – test] himself, and so let him eat of that bread [as received from the LORD, manifesting His presence in the clarity revealed in the fire], and drink of that cup [as received].
29 For he that eats and drinks unworthily [anaxios], eats and drinks damnation [krima – the decisions to speaking falsely, taking the LORD name in vain, saying “He says,” when the words are your opinions: delusions] to himself, not discerning [diakrino – not rightly separating, breaking and delivering, the bread] the LORD’s body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened [corrected] of the LORD, that we should not be condemned [krima] with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, tarry [ekdechomai] one for another [waiting for, long-suffering, those uncertain, until they receive, from the LORD, this understand].
34 And if any man hunger [desiring this bread], let him eat at home [apart from those teaching corruption in the church]; that you come not together unto condemnation [krima]. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
Galatians 6
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
2 Bear you one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let every man prove [dokimazo] his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing [realizing the LORD’s presence] in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
6 Let him that is taught [katecheo] in the word communicate unto him that teaches [katecheo] in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith [believing the LORD is present with us, in us].
The word ekdechomai, rendered “tarry,” above in 1 Corinthians 11:33, appears in Acts 17:16, speaking of when Paul “waited” in Athens (meaning among the “uncertain”) for Silas and Timothy to come to Him.
Acts 17
16 Now while Paul waited [ekdechomai] for them at Athens [among the uncertain], his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
17 Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
18 Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans [epikoureios – upon whom rests the spirit of Korah] and of the Stoicks [stoikos – stoicheo, marching in the ranks of Korah, with the same ignorant foundational principles: elements: stoicheion], encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say [speaking the word of God they couldn’t understand because they are blinded by their own ignorance]? other some [say], He seems to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection [which they are unable to understand because they refuse the enlightenment of this correction].
19 And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus [Mars’ hill – at the peak of the battle in which we are engaged], saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof you speak, is?
20 For you bring certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.
21 (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing [men’s opinions, delusions, they present as truth].)
22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill [Aireos Pagos – at the “peak of martial,” at the peak of this battle], and said, You men of Athens [now when man is certain of nothing, and all knowledge is corrupted by an inability to separate truth from opinions: delusions], I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious [deisidaimonesteros – literally meaning they are afraid, fearing the gods of this world, to receive the treasures that will strengthen them: giving certainty to the uncertain].
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God [the Holy Spirit]. Whom therefore you ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is LORD of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands [but in the flesh of those through whom He speaks and works];
25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands [works], as though he needed any thing, seeing he gives to all life [understanding], and breath [breathed from His mouth: words], and all things [needed];
26 And has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined [horizo – from where the sun rises] the times before appointed [protasso – prearranged, prescribed: before written, pre ordained], and the bounds [horothesia – laying out the limit: the termination point] of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the LORD [first], if haply they might feel after him [after He has effectually worked in us], and find him, though he be not far from every one of us [always willing to reveal His presence to those who receive Him manifested in His word]:
28 For in him [only do] we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are [by receiving this understanding] also his offspring [in whom He will live, if we become His prepared habitation, as many before this time did].
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead [theios] is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device [enthumesis – only appearing four times, all others rendered “thoughts;” here in context discerned to be men’s fictitious writing].
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent [and purge out the blinding corruption]:
31 Because he has appointed a day [a sun rising, after the darkness: this ignorance], in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained [horizo – who is the place from where the sun rises, beginning this new day: age]; whereof he has given assurance unto all men, in that he has raised him from the dead [out of confusion, out of hell, into life in heaven: the place wherein full understanding is found].
32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear you again of this matter.
Genesis 49
1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days [‘achariyth – in these last days of darkness].
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear [shama’ – and obey the voice of the LORD], you sons of Jacob; and hearken [shama’ – and obey] unto Israel your father.
3 Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
4 Unstable [pachaz – ebullition, effervescence, “recklessness, wantonness, unbridled license, frothiness”] as water [this tells of the advice of the serpent, as one of God’s children, with unbridled license, recklessly reinterpreting His word], you shall not excel [not remain among God’s risen people]; because you went up to your father’s bed [went into the women – God’s people who have His words]; then defiled [corrupted] you it: he went up to my couch [took God’s place among His sleeping people].
5 Simeon and Levi are brethren [names meaning those hearing and joining this teaching that replaced God’s]; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
6 O my soul, come not you into their secret [their hidden counsel, words of darkness]; unto their assembly, my honor, be not you united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they digged down a wall [by this they brought death on all man, and removed the protection found in the garden].
7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel [speaking of the continual scattering of God’s people into many sects].
8 Judah [the leaders God chooses], you are he whom your brethren shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck [stopping corrupt words from reaching the mouths] of your enemies; your father’s children shall bow down before you.
9 Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up [so he will roar]?
10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet [speaking of the Davidic king line], until Shiloh come [meaning peace and tranquility – the one {Joseph’s seed – the one separated} from who it will again flow – see Ezekiel 21:27, overturning it until he comes whose right it is]; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine [this speaking the lowly {Zechariah 9:9}, God’s elect remnant, outside the established sects, bound until Shiloh comes, when they are loosed]; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
As we know, the birthright to the throne is in the tribe of Joseph. (1 Chronicles 5:1 Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. 2 For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph’s:)
Genesis 49
13 Zebulun [the lowly raised up at the LORD’s coming] shall dwell at the haven of the sea [safe from this evil generation]; and he shall be for a haven of ships [and saving any who come to the LORD through them]; and his border shall be unto Zidon [they will be the end of those, the corrupt institutions of church and state, who’ve hunted souls].
14 Issachar [through him will come the reward – the fruitful bough] is a strong ass [the LORD’s people, now become His goodly horse in the battle – Zechariah 10:3] couching down between two burdens:
15 And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
16 Dan [the judge – speaking of strength returned and the righteous judgment of the world begins] shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way [as a serpent raised as a standard on a pole {nec}, as the son of man must be lifted], an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels [‘aqeb – this is the heel bruised in the judgment, meaning the serpents among the people, are rendered without effect when the corruption they picked up on their journey through time is washed away by these life-giving waters], so that his rider shall fall backward [so the body of Christ will return to the place from which she fell – see, in Isaiah 28:13, what causes them to fall backward, saying “But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.”].
18 (I have waited for [You to finish] your [full circuit of] salvation [yshuw’ah – Joshua, Jesus, Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh], O LORD [Jehovah].)
19 Gad [the LORD’s army, overcome until their return to Him], a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last [‘aqeb – the heels, when the wicked are taken and snared by this testimony heard, precept upon precept and line upon line].
20 Out of Asher [happy] his bread shall be fat [happiness returns when the word of God prospers], and he shall yield royal dainties [ma’adan – speaking of the royal line again raised up – referring us to its use in Proverbs 29:17, telling us this is when rest returns, when we, by correction, give the Father “delight”].
21 Naphtali [by this wrestling – unknowingly with the LORD] is a hind let loose: he gives goodly words [our tongue {the word of God} is loosed and we teach it as received directly from Him].
22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well [a tree of life by these waters, the written word of God]; whose branches run over the wall [the wall of lies men have created and teach]:
23 The archers [chest ba’al – the arrows of the gods of this world whose teaching has blinded all from seeing the Father in the son, the seed of the woman who brings forth the man child – see Revelation 12:17, saying “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”] have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
24 But his bow [qesheth – the bow in the cloud] abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
25 Even by the God of your father, who shall help you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies under [the deep meaning that lies below the surface], blessings of the breasts, and of the womb [seed, the son]:
26 The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors [all those who have come before us, and were only blessed with part of what is perfected in our return to the LORD] unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
27 Benjamin [the right hand of God’s power, this last generation that becomes the first born of the woman: Rachel] shall ravin as a wolf [shall tear in pieces the wolf that has scattered the one flock]: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil. [These last words refer us to Maher-shalal-hash-baz, the son spoken of in beginning Isaiah 8, his name meaning he hastes to the spoil and is quick to the prey. He is the son foretold as coming by the virgin, later he is called Immanuel, as the advice, teaching, of the LORD comes, when men have formed a confederacy listening to the dead gods of the world.]
Hebrews 10
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting [ekdechomai – He is waited for] till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified [purified of corruption].
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having a high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together [into the LORD’s ONE BODY], as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, says the LORD. And again, The LORD shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Psalms 120
A Song of Degrees [ma’alah – what rising in the flesh]
1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 What shall be given unto you? or what shall be done unto you, you false tongue?
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech [where the LORD has “drawn out” the deceivers and false tongues into His light], that I dwell in the tents of Kedar [the “darkness,” when all are ignorant of the LORD’s presence]!
6 My soul has long dwelt with him that hate peace.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
Psalms 121
A Song of Degrees
1 [This is the rising:] I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help.
2 My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer your foot to be moved: he that keeps [shamar] you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keeps [shamar] Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep [but is always present with us, alive but unknown to those without understanding, without this light, without life].
5 The LORD is your keeper [shamar – even in death]: the LORD is your shade [protection from the destructive understanding of this day] upon your [covering His] right hand [where we sit until our enemies are made His footstool].
6 The sun [the corrupt church, whose light is darkness] shall not smite you by day [when this true light comes], nor the moon [civil government] by night [when ignorance covers the earth and we wait for understanding to replace it].
7 The LORD shall preserve [shamar] you from all evil: he shall preserve [shamar] your soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve [shamar] your going out [of darkness] and your coming in [to the light] from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psalms 122
A Song of Degrees [of this rising] of David
1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
2 Our feet shall stand within your gates, O [New Heavenly] Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together:
4 Whither the tribes go up [‘alah – rising with their king rising], the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel [who are His people by receiving this word, His correction, who will rule with Him on the earth] to give thanks unto the name [identity] of the LORD.
5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of [New Heavenly] Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you.
7 Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.
9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek your good.
Psalms 123
A Song of Degrees
1 Unto you lift I up my eyes, O you that dwellest in the heavens [this time and place of full understanding].
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us [correcting us into seeing as He sees].
3 Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt [of the proud in power who’ve become incorrigible].
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease [sha’anan – thinking they secure in their position of power, in the totally corrupt institutions of church and state], and with the contempt of the proud.
Psalms 124
A Song of Degrees of David
1 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel [those who receive the LORD at His appearing and kingdom, and obeying His commands, will rule with Him on the earth, over the new heaven and earth, wherein dwells His righteousness] say;
2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when [wicked] men rose up against us:
3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream [their corrupt words] had gone over our soul:
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth [their mouths that divide and devour flesh].
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name [identity] of the LORD, who made [the old and new] heaven and earth.
Psalms 125
A Song of Degrees
1 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion [“and {are come} unto the city of the living God, the {New} heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels {His messengers}, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel. 25 See that you refuse not him that speak. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speak from {this New} heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace {this gift of the LORD in us}, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.”], which cannot be removed, but abide [with the LORD] forever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even forever.
3 For the rod of the wicked [the corruption they taught the old earth they’ve destroyed, which has now ended] shall not rest upon the lot [those choosing the LORD] of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto [working] iniquity [evil misheadling].
4 Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts [having the good foundations of their minds reset].
5 As for such as turn aside [away from the LORD’s good teaching] unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel [His people who receive this promised end].
Psalms 126
A Song of Degrees
1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion [His people predestined to rule with Him here on the earth], we were like them that dream [while we slept, here in death waiting for Him to finish His work: changing and renewing: creating this understanding in our minds].
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing [His words He puts in our mouths]: then said they among the heathen [who haven’t known Him], The LORD has done great things for them.
3 The LORD has done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, [make us] as the streams [of living waters] in the south [to those looking to this light rising].
5 They that sow in tears [the sorrow realizing how far away from the LORD the world has fallen] shall reap in joy [all realizing He is present with us to restore it].
6 He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [this promised harvest] with him.
Psalms 127
A Song of Degrees for Solomon
1 Except the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep [rest, even in death].
3 Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD [in whom we rise from death’s sleep with His rising]: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows [chest – weapons of His warfare sent forth] are in the hand [His work] of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. [Psalms 77:17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound [qowl – Your voice]: your arrows [chets] also went abroad [halak – walk, His way is long-suffering the piercing words of the ignorant – referring to Genesis 49:23 & 24, saying “The archers {chets} have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: But his bow {qasheth – the bow in the cloud} abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel:)”]. 18 The voice [qowl] of your thunder [the sound of the light] was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook. 19 Your way is in the sea [walking among us], and your path in the great waters, and your footsteps are not known.]
5 Happy is the man [geber – valiant warrior] that has his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak [in this war] with the enemies [here] in the gate [out of hell into heaven].
