The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.

26 – 29 August 2024

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.

The word above, in Nahum 1:7, rendered “trouble,” is the word tsarah, which we know speaks of the time of Jacob’s trouble, the tribulation out of which he is saved. When the name Jacob is used in this context it describes God’s people who are still wrestling with His unknown presence: manifested in His angel (messenger), like in the pattern of when Jacob was passing over back into his land (‘erets – the earth God gave to Adam). In this end time, it tells of God’s people, wresting with Him in this same way, as they are, in the trial from which they are resurrected: quickened from death and hell into heaven, full understanding, and life.

Jeremiah 30
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 Thus [in this manner] speaks the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write you all the words that I have spoken unto you in a book.
3 For, lo, the days come, says the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity [of the minds] of my people Israel and Judah, says the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land [‘erets – the earth] that I gave to their fathers [to Adam], and they shall possess it.
4 And these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
5 For thus says the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling [charadah – this is the fear that comes as a snare upon those not putting their trust in the LORD], of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask you now, and see whether a man does travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness [as a plant withering from green to yellow, from vigor into cowards]?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble [tsarah – tribulation], but he shall be saved out of it.
8 For it shall come to pass in that day [when light returns], says the LORD of hosts [a man of war], that I will break his yoke from off your neck [the yoke keeping the word held there from being spoken], and will burst your bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up [quwm – resurrect] unto them.
10 Therefore fear you not, O my servant Jacob, says the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save you from afar [rachowq – this time when the earth is ruled by the evil decrees of the wicked in power], and your seed from the land [‘erets – the earth] of their captivity [freeing minds held by, yoke to, the wicked in power]; and Jacob [who is wrestling with My presence manifested in this conversation] shall return [to understanding and life], and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
11 For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you: though I make a full end [kalah – the “consumption” the LORD righteously decreed, when this anointing is poured out upon the desolate] of all nations [those possessed by the institutions where they refuse to know me] whither I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end [kalah] of you: but I will [in this anointing] correct you in measure, and will not leave you altogether unpunished [I will not, have not, left you uncorrected].
12 For thus says the LORD, Your bruise is incurable, and your wound is grievous.
13 There is none to plead your cause, that you mayest be bound up: you have no healing medicines [from those in power who continue to prescribe more of the causes while claiming they are the cure; they are destroyers not builders, whose fruit witnesses against them: gaslighting all humanity claiming the reality experienced, isn’t reality: calling delusion truth and truth delusion].
14 All your lovers have forgotten you; they seek you not; for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of your iniquity; because your sins [despising My words and calling for My message to be silences] were increased.
15 Why cry you for your affliction? your sorrow is incurable for the multitude of your iniquity: because your sins were increased, I have done these things unto you [letting you experience the consequence of your rejection of Me and My good words].
16 Therefore all they that devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil you shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon you will I give for a prey.
17 For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.
18 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwelling-places; and the city shall be built upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry [speaking My words and declare My presence in them]: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them [revealing My glory in them], and they shall not be small [tsa’ar].
20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish [paqad – as the Chief Overseer of the earth] all that oppress them.
21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? says the LORD.
22 And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
23 Behold, the whirlwind [ca’ar – this is the whirlwind by which Elijah was raised into heaven, the same from where Job heard the LORD’s voice before seeing Him, and the “tempest” into and out of which Jonah was cast when he was swallowed into and vomited out of the belly of hell] of the LORD goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind [ca’ar – the same whirlwind wherein Ezekiel saw the LORD’s unfolding presence manifested in the wheel within the wheel]: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he has done it, and until he has performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days [‘achariyth] you shall consider [biyn -understand] it.

Zechariah 9
8 And I will encamp about my house because of the [invading] army [mixed among them], because of him that passes by [‘abar – who are passing over the word of death into life], and because of him that returns [shuwb – whose minds are returning to the LORD]: and no oppressor shall pass through them [‘abar – shall keep My people from passing from death into life] any more: for now [after hearing the voice of the LORD] have I seen [His presence with us, in us] with my eyes.
9 Rejoice [realizing His presence with us, in us] greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes unto you: he is just, and having salvation; [manifesting His presence in the] lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass [the meek and powerless in whom He is carried, who once the destination is reached become His goodly horse in the battle].
10 And I will cut off [karath] the chariot from Ephraim [the corrupt understanding {wheels} carrying this last generation led by corrupt powers who made it a ruin, against whom the LORD comes], and the horse from [corrupt] Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he [the LORD through His messengers] shall speak peace unto the heathen [those who haven’t known Him]: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea [the last generation to the first of the new creation], and from the river [this word flowing from Him] even to the ends of the earth [ending the old and beginning the new].
11 As for you also, by the blood of your covenant I have sent forth your prisoners out of the pit [into which the blind have fallen] wherein is no water [where this word of God isn’t heard].
12 Turn you to the strong hold [this manifested presence of the LORD], you prisoners of hope: even today [in this understanding in which He appears] do I declare that I will render double unto you [this double blessing poured upon the desolate who’ve become a double ruin];
13 When I have bent Judah [my new leaders] for me, filled the bow with Ephraim [my doubly blessed people], and raised up [to life] your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece [the dregs – mire], and made you as the sword [see Ezekiel 21:9 below] of a mighty man.
14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning [understanding]: and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet [calling His people together], and shall go with whirlwinds [ca’ar] of the south.
15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.
16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign [nacac] upon his land.
17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

Zechariah 10
1 Ask you of the LORD rain [this word from heaven] in the time of the latter rain [malqowsh – Proverbs 16:15 In the light {understanding} of the king’s countenance {paniym – the king’s presence} is life; and his favor is as a cloud of the latter rain {malqowsh}.]; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field [sending it upon all the world to bring forth new life].
2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock [into tribulation], they were troubled, because there was no shepherd [ra’ah – no seer seeing as God sees].
3 My anger was kindled against the [blind] shepherds, and I punished [paqad – visited as the Chief Overseer of the earth] the [he] goats [devils, misleaders possessed by Satan, resisting and opposing this word and work of God]: for the LORD of hosts [a man of war] has visited [paqad] his flock the house of Judah, and has made them as his goodly horse [He alone rides] in the battle.
4 Out of him [Judah] came forth the corner [turning us to the LORD], out of him the nail [fastening our mind to what can be trusted], out of him the battle bow [the LORD’s leaders], out of him every governor together.

The Hebrew word rendered “out of” is an unnumbered form of the word meged, preceded by a form of meh. The passage should be translated – mimegow, “then shall precious things come,” from the corner, mimegow from the nail, mimegow from the battle bow, mimegow from every governor united in the ONE BODY.

The word meged only appears eight times, five in Deuteronomy 33 and three in Song of Solomon.

Deuteronomy 33
1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai [separated from the piercing words of thorns that had overgrown the unattended garden], and rose up from Seir [among the misleaders, he-goats as devils slithering in garden] unto them; he shined forth [gave understanding] from mount Paran [making everything clearly understood], and he came with ten thousands of saints [as Enoch foretold]: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. [Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words {untruth of which they are proud}, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage {of their positions of worldly power}.]
3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in your hand: and they sat down at your feet; every one shall [as the light of this sunrising] receive of your words.
4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
5 And he was king in Jeshurun [when God’s people obey the voice of the LORD and prospered under His rule], when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together [united in One mind leading His OND BODY].

13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things [meged] of heaven, for the dew [the word of the LORD that now appears on the earth at this new day], and for the deep [understanding] that couches beneath [its surface],
14 And for the precious fruits [meged] brought forth by the sun [by the church rising with this light of this new day], and for the precious things [meged] put forth by the moon [civil government founded on these same treasures],
15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains [governments of church and state as the LORD intended them], and for the precious things [meged] of the lasting hills [these same foundation in which men can trust],
16 And for the precious things [mege] of the earth and fulness thereof [perfecting it in the promised and expected end], and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush [as a burning fire that never burns out]: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock [the first begotten from the dead], and his horns [powers] are like the horns of unicorns [the only power of God]: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth [ending the old and beginning the new, wherein dwell the LORD’s righteousness]: and they are the ten thousands [saints who come with the LORD’s appearing to the world’s sight again] of Ephraim [this last generation that was a double ruin and is the first of the new by the LORD’s double blessing given], and they are the thousands of Manasseh [who forgot the LORD and now remember Him].

Ezekiel 21
8 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:
10 It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemns [ma’ac – takes away] the rod [the scepter – to rule] of my son, as every tree.
11 And he has given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
12 Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon your thigh.
13 Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn [ma’ac – takes away] even the rod [the scepter – to rule]? it shall be no more, says the LORD God. [See verses 26 & 27 below]
14 You therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite your hands together. and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of [this word from the mouth of the LORD, against] of the great men that are slain, which entered [as did Jael – Judges 4:21] into their privy chambers [chadar].
15 I have set the point of the sword [as a nail] against all their gates [the temple of these men’s minds], that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.
16 Go you one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever your face is set.
17 I will also smite my hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.
18 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
19 Also, you son of man, appoint you two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose you a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.
20 Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites [this word upon the great men of the old world, who exalt themselves above God}, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defensed [where God’s elect are protected in peace].
21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.
22 At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.
23 And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
24 Therefore thus says the LORD God; Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that you are come to remembrance, you shall be taken with the hand.
25 And you, profane wicked prince of [the sons of perdition, who, in the pattern of Reuben, put themselves in the LORD’s place, over] Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity [despising this word of God, and working to silence it] shall have an end [qets],
26 Thus says the LORD God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it him.

(As we know) this last verse speaks of Shiloh, the seed of Joseph, David’s LORD (‘adown). As we’ve seen in previous posts, David was an Ephraimite (through Tamar, the seed of the woman) living in Judah, fulfilling the LORD taking the birthright from Reuben and giving it to Joseph, through whom came the perpetual son line of Joshua (Jesus), the son of Nun.

(As we know) Tamar (the palm tree) is mentioned in Jesus’ generation line in Matthew 1:3, a flesh bloodline from which Jesus, by immaculate conception, didn’t descend. Neither did His (being childless) flesh bloodline continue.

(As we know) this pattern is seen in Judah, with Tamar, having two children, Pharez (breach – as in Pharisees who’ve scattered the flock) and Zarah (Zerah from zerach – the rising of light), the actual firstborn. These children are conceived on the way to Timnath, meaning a portion assigned (prepared to be given), with affinity to the word man (manna), meaning what is given is unknown even when received.

(As we know) the place where Joshua (Jesus, the son in perpetuity) was (is) buried is Timnathserah, serah (from the four times used word cherec or charcah) meaning, “the sun,” with affinity to zerach and rising light.

Job 8
20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
21 Till he fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing [words manifesting His presence is realized].
22 They that hate you shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to naught.

Job 9
2 I know it is so of a truth: but how should [wicked] man be just with God?
3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him [God], and has prospered?
5 Which removes the mountains [those who rise against Him], and they know not [it is Him passing by]: which overturns them in his anger.
6 Which shakes the earth out of her place, and the [corrupt] pillars thereof tremble.
7 Which commands the sun [cherec], and it rises [zarach] not; and seals [chatham] up the stars [removes this light, understanding, from His people at large].
8 Which alone [as the only remaining Light] spreads out [in this exposition, the expanse of the firmament, which he calls] the heavens, and treads [His way is] upon the waves [bamah, the ancient high places] of the sea [of humanity]. [referring us to Amos 4:13]
9 Which makes Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south [from where these stars are bought forth].
10 Which does great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

Job 38
4 Where wast you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding.
5 Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof [turning My people again to Me];
7 When the morning stars sang together [repeating these words as received], and all the sons of God shouted for joy [realizing My presence]?

22 Have you entered into the treasures of the snow [this pure word reserved in the cloud]? or have you seen the treasures of the hail [this same word sent against the current crop of corrupt leaders],
23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen [this deep understanding, hidden in the present word, I reserved for Myself for this time of war, sending it flowing My teaching as if from a stone].
31 Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
32 Can you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?
33 Know you the ordinances of heaven? can you set the dominion [establish your reign as I have] thereof in the earth?
34 Can you lift up your voice [this word from the mouth of God] to the clouds, that abundance of waters may [be released and] cover you?
35 Can you send lightnings, that they may go and say unto you, Here we are [as I say here I Am]?

Amos 4
11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom [burning] and Gomorrah [ruin], and you were as a firebrand plucked [natsal – harpazo, as in Jude 1:23 and 1 Thessalonians 4:17, “pulled” from the fires and “caught up” into this heaven: full understanding] out of the burning [ruin]: yet have you not returned unto me, says the LORD.
12 Therefore thus will I do unto you, O Israel: and because I will do this unto you, prepare [purify yourselves of the remaining corruption] to meet your God [in this battle at Armageddon, this appointed meeting time], O Israel.
13 For, lo, he that forms the mountains, and creates the wind, and declares unto man what is his thought, that makes the morning darkness [when this understanding exposes the ignorance of the wise of this corrupt world], and treads upon the high places [bamah] of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts [a man of war], is his name.

Exodus 15
1 Then sang Moses [those drawn from the corrupt waters below] and the children of Israel this song [repeating this word as received] unto the LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.
2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

Isaiah 60
1 Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen [zarach] upon you.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise [zarach] upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness [in Timnathserah] of your rising [zerach].
4 Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
5 Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto you.
6 The multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian [strife] and Ephah [gloom]; all they from Sheba [those perfected as promised] shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.
7 All the flocks of Kedar [darkness – who have been ignorant of the LORD] shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nebaioth [the high places of power] shall minister unto you: they shall come up with acceptance on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
8 Who are these that fly as a cloud [with understanding], and as the doves [as an expected end] to their windows [they come to see]?
9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish [those who have fled from their vow] first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you: for in my wrath I smote you, but in my favor have I had mercy on you.
11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13 The glory of Lebanon [purity] shall come unto you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box [all the upright] together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14 The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 You shall also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shall suck the breast of kings: and you shall know that I the LORD am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make your officers peace, and your exactors righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you: but the LORD shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.
20 Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be your everlasting light [the giver of understanding], and the days of your mourning shall be ended.
21 Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one [I Am] a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

The word rendered “hasten” is chalats, said to mean “to pull off; hence (intensively) to strip, (reflex.) to depart; by implication, to deliver, equip (for fight); present, strengthen.” It speaks of how we are quickened to realize the LORD’s presence and join Him in this expected end.

Friends, I tell you the truth, this “quickening” isn’t a matter of if it will happen but when it will happen. “When” will you realize His presence and rise from the darkness (blinding ignorance) created by the gods of this corrupt world age?

Ephesians 1
17 That the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him [His presence with us always]:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places [here crowned with His understanding],
21 Far above all principality [arche – beginning all ages], and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world [aion – age], but also in that [age] which is to come:
22 And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his [ONE] body, the fulness of him that fills all in all.

Ephesians 2
1 And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course [aion – age, beginning to this end in the corruption] of this world [kosmos – beginning when all the elements of understanding are rightly ordered and ended in their corruption into confusion], according to the prince of the power of the air [the sons of perdition, who put themselves in the LORD’s place, who darkened it {the world, including the air} with the smoke from the fires that come in the endless fall away from God and the love of His truth], the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience [apeitheia – apathy, “disbelief (obstinate and rebellious)”]: [The uses of this word {apeitheia} tell us it is the reason people perish and a state in which God has conclude was all the world before this preaching.]
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation [not speaking this word as received] in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind [speaking corrupt word]; and were by nature the children of wrath [rejecting this truth sent to correct you], even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love [giving us this gift] wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins [paraptoma – trespassing into things forbidden, things corrupting His pure conversation], has quickened us together [suzoopoieo] with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)
6 And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places [filling us fully, perfecting us with His full understanding] in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages [aion] to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace [this gift] in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation revealed in the flesh, in this conversation].
8 For by grace [this gift] are you saved through faith [it is Him speaking and working]; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works [to give this same word as received], which God has before ordained [proetoimazo – prepared in advance: providence; only used here and in Romans 9:23] that we should walk in them.
11 Wherefore remember, that you being in time past Gentiles [not knowing the LORD] in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off [in this time ruled by the evil decrees of the wicked in power], and to them that were nigh [understanding but still lacking: not knowing His presence and therefore not following His commands].
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit [unknown in me speaking and working] unto the Father.
19 Now therefore you [if you know Him] are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household [family, becoming His children, the many sons brought to glory] of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone [from whom these words flow the Father’s teaching, returning us to Him and His truth];
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto a holy temple in the LORD:
22 In whom you also are built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit [His working unknown to this end].

Romans 9
19 You will say then unto me, Why does he yet find fault? For who has resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who are you that replies against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why have you made me thus?
21 Has not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor [time – Tim], and another unto dishonor [atimia – against Tim]?
22 What if God, willing to show his wrath [against all darkness], and to make his power [in His word spoken] known, [here present unknown] endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared [proetoimazo – fore ordained] unto glory,
24 Even us, whom he has called, not of the Jews [Judah – believers who say they know Him, even though they haven’t] only, but also of the Gentiles [who haven’t known Him and haven’t claimed to]?
25 As he says also in Hosea [2:23, when Jezreel is heard speaking this word, who and which the LORD sows into the earth; Hosea 6:6 later saying “For I desire mercy and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of {knowing} God more than burnt offerings.”], I will call them [that know Me] my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, You are not my people; there shall they be called the children [born by correction] of the living God.
27 Isaiah also cries [see Isaiah 1:9 below] concerning Israel [concerning those who receive this promised end], Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a[n elect] remnant shall be saved:
28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the LORD make upon the earth.
29 And as Isaiah [also in Isaiah 1:9] said before, Except the LORD of Sabaoth [a man of war] had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles [who haven’t claimed to know the LORD], which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith [that He is present].
31 But Israel [those who say they know Him], which followed after the law of righteousness [their corrupt understanding, blinding them to the LORD’s presence, and therefore leaving them in disobedience, a state of apathy, refusing to receive the LORD’s righteousness, refusing His correction, opposing Him while trying to prove their ways are right], has not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith [not believing the LORD is present always and now making Himself openly known], but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling-stone [the flesh He’s chosen, by whom they are offended];
33 As it is written [in Isaiah 28:16], Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling-stone and rock of offense [from where His word flows]: and whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed [shall not be disappointed, but shall reach this expected end].

Isaiah 1
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small [faithful elect] remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When you come to appear [ra’ah] before me [paniym – into My presence], who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths [the institutions of church and state you have corrupted], the calling of assemblies, I cannot [accept it] away with [it]; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons [your corrupt civil governments] and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. [I tell you the truth, all religion has become a worthless charade and a demonstrable exhibition of ignorance of God.]
15 And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood [refusing to plead the cause of the innocent and rightly judge the wicked].
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead [riyb] for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
21 How is the faithful city become a harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers [refusing to give the word from the mouth of God, by which man lives].
22 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water:
23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and follows after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them.
24 Therefore says the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of my adversaries, and avenge me of my enemies:
25 And I will turn my hand upon you, and purely purge away your dross, and take away all your tin:
26 And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

Nahum 1
1 The burden of Nineveh [the perpetual children of God]. The book of the vision of Nahum [nacham – the comforter, leading us into all truth] the Elkoshite [who is also God the ensnarer, speaking and working among us unknown, to reveal Himself].
2 God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan languishes, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languishes.
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble [tsarah – His good light in this time of tribulation is our stonghold]; and he knows them that trust in him.
8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end [kalah] of the place thereof, and darkness [their own ignorance] shall pursue his enemies.
9 What do you imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end [kalah]: affliction [tsarah – this tribulation] shall not rise up the second time.
10 For while they be folded together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.
11 There is one come out of you, that imagines evil [ra’] against the LORD, a wicked counselor [ya’ats].
12 Thus says the LORD; Though they be quiet [shalam – though they think their power is secure], and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down [gazaz], when he shall pass through [‘abar – passing over to bring us from death into life]. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
13 For now will I break his yoke [of the wicked joined among you] from off you, and will burst your bonds in sunder.
14 And the LORD has given a commandment concerning you, that no more of your name be sown: out of the house of your gods will I cut off [karath] the graven image and the molten image: I will make your grave; for you are vile.
15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows [neder]: for the wicked shall no more pass through you [‘abar – no longer bring the living into death]; he is utterly cut off [karath].

Isaiah 28
1 Woe to the crown of pride [proud of the things they know and teach, which just aren’t true], to the drunkards of Ephraim [the misleaders and the misled of God’s people who are a double ruin in this evil generation, who’ve eaten and drank what is delivered from idols they put in God’s place and call by His name], whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
2 Behold, the LORD has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand [this work for which He’s sent me].
3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet [of those who receive this understand, His manifested presence speaking and working, and willingly submit to the will of God: do the work that pleases the Father]:
4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it sees, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up [as the glory of the drunkard is eaten up by the LORD’s manifested presence].
5 In that day [this time when light has returned] shall the LORD of hosts [a man of war, and the Head of the ONE BODY, the Commander of the army of heaven] be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem [tsphiyrah – only appearing two other places, both in Ezekiel 7, a chapter speaking this end come; there rendered “morning” when this crowning occurs, when His word, this word, is exalted above all other voices] of beauty, unto the residue of his people, [Ezekiel 7:7 The morning {tsphiyrah – of this crowning} is come unto you, O you that dwell in the land {‘erets – this earth moment}: the time is come, the day of trouble is near {qarowb – upon us}, and not the sounding again of the mountains {no longer hearing and obeying the words of the misleaders in power in church and state}.]
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate [trampling down the gates of hell, the mouth of men who are ignorant of God, and proud of what they think they know, even calling them by His name, saying “He said,” when they never knew Him].
7 But they [those who sit in His judgment seat, His mercy seat from where His voice should be heard] also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up [into the belly of hell] of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision [saying they see when they see nothing but darkness], they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine [shmuw’ah – shama’ Jehovah, this report, to understand it is the voice of the LORD heard and obeyed]? them that are weaned from the milk [don’t remain in a childish state, only seeing superficially], and drawn [attiyq – only used elsewhere in 1 Chronicles 4:22] from the breasts. [1 Chronicles 4:22, speaking of those who “dwelt with the king for his work,” saying “And Jokim {who Jehovah raises up}, and the men of Chozeba {against falsehood}, and Joash {given, sent, by Jehovah} and Saraph {to burn up all falsehood in the trial in hell’s fires}, who had the dominion in Moab {power over the gates of hell, the mouths of wicked men}, and Jashubilehem {by the return of this bead, this word from the mouth of the LORD, by which man lives}. And these are ancient {attiyq} things.”]
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue [this truth which is thought to be vain repetition and a foreign language to those who only know lies] will he speak to this people. [In this verse the mystery {the sealed truth} of Pentecost is reveals to be when men who’ve received this word of God, by the work of the LORD unknown {as the Holy Ghost}, repeat it as receives, which the ignorant can’t understand, but the wise do understand. Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel {judgment of God}: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.]
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear [shama’ – refusing to hear it as His voice, and obey].
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:”
16 Therefore thus says the LORD GOD [‘Adonay Jehovih – KING of kings and LORD of lords], Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste [not flee from Him in shame]. [Psalms 118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner {turning our heads again to the Father in heaven}. 23 This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in {opening} our eyes {to His presence}. 24 This is the day {time of His light rising} which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.]
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death [maveth] shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell [sheol] shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report [shmuw’ah – the sound doctrine, teaching, and the “rumor” of Ezekiel 7:26, which is the voice of Jehovah heard].
20 For the bed is shorter than that a [sleeping] man can stretch himself on it: and the covering [the lies and falsehoods under which they hide is] narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 For the LORD [Jehovah] shall rise up as in mount Perazim [2 Samuel 5:20 – as water from His throne, breaking forth upon His and David’s enemies], he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon [Joshua 10:10 & 11 – His word reserved {frozen} in heaven, sent as great hailstones upon the wicked: the current corrupt crop sitting in power], that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange [known to no one except Him] act.
22 Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the LORD GOD [‘Adonay Jehovih – KING of kings and LORD of lords], of hosts [a man of war and Commander, Chief, of the army of heaven] a consumption [kalah – a full end, as in Daniel 9:27], even determined [charats – decreed, as in Joshua 10:21 saying “And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua {Jesus} at Makkedah {as one flock under one shepherd} in peace: none moved {charats} his tongue against any of the children of Israel.” And 2 Samiel 5:24, the LORD saying to David, “And let it be, when you hear {shama’ – obey} the sound {qowl – the voice} of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees {baka’, from which come bkowr – telling us this is the voice of the “firstborn”}, that then you shall bestir yourself: for then shall the LORD go out before {paniym – His presence will be manifested with, in} you, to smite the host of the Philistines {the enemy army now mixed among you}.”] upon the whole earth [‘erets].
23 Give you ear, and hear [shama’ – and obey] my voice [qowl]; hearken, and hear [shama’ – and obey] my speech.

Psalms 71
1 In you, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline your ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be you my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: you have given commandment to save me; for you are my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For you are my hope, O LORD God: you are my trust from my youth.
6 By you have I been holden up from the womb: you are he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of you.
7 I am as a wonder unto many; but you are my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with your praise and with your honor all the day.
9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.
10 For my enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
11 Saying, God has forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor that seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise you more and more.
15 My mouth shall show forth your righteousness and your salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of the LORD God: I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours only.
17 O God, you have taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared your wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and grey-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shown your strength unto this generation, and your power to every one that is to come.
19 Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, who have done great things: O God, who is like unto you!
20 You, which have shown me great and sore troubles, shall quicken me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
22 I will also praise you with the psaltery, even your truth, O my God: unto you will I sing with the harp, O you Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto you; and my soul, which you have redeemed.
24 My tongue also shall talk of your righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
