Hearken to me, you that follow after righteousness, you that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence you are digged.

19 – 21 September 2024

Hearken to me, you that follow after righteousness, you that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence you are digged.

The word “hearken,” above in Isaiah 51:1, is the often used and discussed Hebrew word shama’, meaning “to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.).”

The word rendered “follow after” is radaph, meaning to pursue (good or evil), with which the LORD, in the context of our ongoing conversation, refers us to its use in Hosea 6:3.

Hosea 6
1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he has torn, and he will heal us; he has smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight [when we see as He sees].
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on [radaph] to know [pursue the knowledge of] the LORD: his going forth [mowtsa’ – the words flowing from His mouth] is prepared as the morning [the light of this new day]; and he [the LORD] shall come unto us as the rain [His word from heaven], as the latter [here spoken] and former [written] rain unto the earth [that cause new life to shoot forth and grow into this time of harvest].
4 O Ephraim [God’s people, the last generation that by repentance and obedience becomes the first], what shall I do unto you? O Judah [the leaders of God’s people, among which there is an elect remnant], what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is [corrupted knowledge that departs] as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away [when the sunlight comes].
5 Therefore have I [here and now] hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and your judgments are as the light that goes forth [as understand upon all from east to west].
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7 But they, like men, have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously [bagad – with deceit] against me.
8 Gilead [this “heap of testimony” left to them to be guarded and protected from corruption] is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.
9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness [zimmah – referring us to the one time it’s used by Isaiah, in Isaiah 32:7].
10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel [all God’s people at large, throughout history, who inherit this promised end]: there is the whoredom of Ephraim [defiled by the double ruin of this last generation], [by which all] Israel is defiled.
11 Also, O Judah [My elect remnant who’ve received this former and latter rain], he has set a harvest for you, when I returned the captivity [now when I change and possess the minds] of my people.

Genesis 2
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Isaiah 32
1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
2 And a man [I Am, a man of war] shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest [the storms agitating all humanity]; [and the word of God from him flows] as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great Rock [from when these waters flow, in which men can trust] in a weary land.
3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. [seeing the LORD’s presence and hearing His voice]
4 The heart [minds] also of the rash [mahar – speaking of those being quickened to finish the work, meaning “to be liquid or flow easily, i.e. (by implication); to hurry (in a good or a bad sense); often used (with another verb) adverbially, promptly”] shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers [‘illeg – those repeating their own unintelligible words] shall be ready [mahar – are quickened from death into life] to speak [this word] plainly.
5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal [as they are], nor the churl [kiylay – those ignorant, withholding this word] said to be bountiful.
6 For the vile [the falsely so-called liberal] person will [be understood to be] speak[ing] villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
7 The instruments also of the churl [kiylay – the ignorant, withholding this word] are evil: he devises wicked devices [zimmah – deceit] to destroy the poor [those without worldly power] with lying words, even when the needy [the lowly] speak right [giving this word as commanded].
8 But the liberal devises liberal things [freely giving these words as receives, as commanded]; and by liberal things shall he stand [for all humanity].
9 Rise up, you women [wise virgins] that are at ease [sleeping, not doing the LORD’s work as commanded]; hear my voice [here, as it is], you careless daughters; give ear unto my speech [obey, be a doer not just a hearer].
10 Many days and years shall you be troubled, you careless women [not doing the LORD’s work]: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
11 Tremble [be shaken, to shake the wicked from you], you women that are at ease; be troubled, you careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
12 They shall lament for the teats [long for the teaching that raises children], for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers [the misleader and deceivers who’ve now come among you misleading all]; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city [that once knew my presence]:
14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken [without just leadership]; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens [the belly of the earth where beast lodge, the habitation of the dead without My Spirit] forever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
15 Until the spirit [of the LORD] be poured upon us from on high [to finish the work and cut it short], and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness [this now desolated earth], and righteousness remain in the fruitful field [where My people sow this word].
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
19 When it shall hail [this word frozen, reserved, in heaven, sent in this time of war, against the current crop of corrupt and incorrigible leaders], coming down on the forest [those the corrupt the world calls the upright]; and the city shall be low in a low place [in hell].
20 Blessed are you that sow [this word, giving it as commanded] beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass [doing the work; and carrying this word].

Isaiah 33
1 Woe to you that spoil, and you were not spoiled; and deal treacherously [bagad], and they dealt not treacherously [bagad] with you! when you shall cease to spoil, you shall be spoiled; and when you shall make an end to deal treacherously [bagad], they shall deal treacherously [bagad] with you.
2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for [qavah – expected] you: be you their arm every morning, our salvation [yshuw’ah – Joshua: our Jesus, Jehovah’s Salvation in the flesh of His declared perpetual son] also in the time of trouble [trarah – this tribulation].
3 At the noise [qowl- the voice of Jehovah] of the tumult [hamown – the shout of His multitude] the people fled; at the lifting up [romemuth – only used here, meaning exaltation; the voice of the LORD raised above all others] of yourself the nations were scattered.
4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpillar [until nothing is left]: as the running to and fro [seeking the knowledge of the LORD] of locusts shall he run upon them [until none are left untouched by this understanding, wisdom, and knowledge they give as received].
5 The LORD is exalted; for he dwells on high: he has filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability [’emuwn – faithfulness and truth of His office as the Chief Overseer of the earth] of your times, and strength of salvation [yshuw’ah]: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

Romans 12
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service [doing the work to which He’s called and raised us].
2 And be not conformed to this [totally corrupt] world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect [teleios – completing, finishing], will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace [this gift] given unto me [to be given], to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in ONE BODY, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are ONE BODY in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is [the treasures and talents] given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teaches, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorts, on exhortation: he that gives, let him do it with simplicity; he that rules, with diligence; he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil [misleading men into ignorance of the LORD’s presence, becoming many antichrists, even denying Him at His appearing and Kingdom come]; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the LORD;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing [this word] to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse [kataraomai – doom] not [to destruction, with corrupt words opposing the LORD and leading men to do so].
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the LORD.
20 Therefore if your enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Friends, if reading the many comments to these posts (the most significant number on my Message Facebook page where I boost them), we realize there are many antichrists, many claiming they are Christian, opposing this work with presumed impunity (because of the falsehoods they’ve learned): vilifying and demonizing this word of the LORD: blaspheming Him working unknown, for which they will not be forgiven, in this world or the next. But even more so, their teachers, false prophets speaking lies in the LORD’s name, deceiving all that follow them, will not enter the LORD’s presence. They (without public repentance) will not be forgiven, and upon them comes the greater condemnation.

James 3
1 My brethren, be not many masters [teachers], knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things [teaching falsehood in the LORD’s name] we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor wills.
5 Even so, the tongue is a little member and [with incorrigible pride] boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

The same incorrigibles will say the above isn’t so and that they are under grace and saved from condemnation, claiming so by ignoring the fact they must be led by the LORD’s Spirit (unknown, at first, until He reveals Himself to those who receive His word as Him present to save them from themselves, from their darkened and blinded minds), and not knowing (ignorant) that His grace is that here given by Him, which they refuse and blaspheme.

Matthew 12
30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathers not [into My ONE BODY] with me scatters abroad.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost [the LORD working and speaking unknown through those He’s chosen] shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost [the LORD speaking and working unknown to those dead in their own ignorance, proven by them not knowing it’s Him even as He tells them – Acts 13:41 Behold {see Him}, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you shall in no wise believe, though a man declares it {as I Am} unto you.], it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart [the foundational mind] the mouth speaks.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the [this] day of judgment.
37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from you.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah [coming from the belly of hell and calling all to repent]:
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly [and from there said, “I cried by reason of my affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and you heard my voice.”]; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth [which is the habitation of the dead, in the grave in the earth, sheol].
41 The men of Nineveh [those awakened from their sleep in the grave, by the preaching of Jonah, the dove, the sign of the end reached; the LORD’s perpetual people, His saints the Father send with Him] shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

2 Peter 1
11 For so an entrance [eisodos – into the kingdom of God] shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them, and be established in the present truth.
13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our LORD Jesus Christ has shown me.
15 Moreover I will endeavor that you may be able after my decease [exodos – after leaving the old body {come to remembrance and out of the old body, which shall not remain}] to have these things always in remembrance.
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our LORD Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased [HEAR Him].
18 And this voice which came from heaven [when we received full understanding from the LORD] we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star [phosphoros] arise in your hearts [minds]:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation [as have the many antichrists with their many opposing opinions, delusions they teach and preach as truth].
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man [as they do now through the many false teachers and their false teaching now among us]: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost [the LORD alive in them, unknown to the world and working all things toward this moment of awakening by His ONE and ONLY righteous interpretation].

2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily [secretly, from their own imaginations, create lies] shall bring in damnable [apoleia – that cause them and those who follow their ways to perish] heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction [apoleia – perdition].
2 And many shall follow their pernicious [aploeia – the ways that lead to their own destruction] ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of [as it is this day].
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned [fraudulent] words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation [apoleia – perishing, perdition] slumbers not [because they are awakened “to shame and everlasting contempt”].

2 Peter 3
3 Knowing this first, that there shall [have] come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God [this same word of God] the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition [apoleia] of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is [always with us, hidden only in men’s ignorance] longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements [stoicheion – the corrupt foundational ideas and ways of men] shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements [stoicheion] shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our LORD is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrestle, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction [apoleia – perdition].

The current corrupt (proud) world (men who think so much of themselves they reject the reprogramming, the necessary correction, of their Creator) mocks and vilifies the LORD’s calling them to obey His commands. They do so while ignorantly denying they are following some other spirit (of antichrist), which possesses them into this self-destructive rebellion and guides them into rejection.

Isaiah 51
1 Hearken to me [shama’ – obey My good advice, My course correction, I Am the good Shepherd], you that follow after [radaph – pursue diligently] righteousness, you that [diligently] seek the LORD: look unto the rock [Christ, from where this word flows] whence you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence you are digged [hell, the grave, from where He has pulled us – the word here {the six times used} is naqar, which refers us to its use in Number 16:14, there used speaking of pulling out the eyes {exposing their misleading, the erroneous overseeing} of those leading the rebellion against God’s one chosen leader].
2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone [one leader], and blessed him, and increased him.
3 For the LORD [Himself alone] shall comfort Zion: he will comfort [Himself lead us into all truth] all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness [realizing His presence with us, in us] shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody [these words heard and repeated as received].
4 Hearken [qashab] unto me [hear this word as My voice], my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation [my people who haven’t known Me]: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light [understanding] of the people.
5 My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people; the isles [all the places that have been without My word] shall wait upon me, and on my arm [revealed to those that believe this report is the voice of Jehovah] shall they trust.
6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens [see with this understanding, as the LORD sees], and look upon the earth beneath [where is nothing except confusion and insanity in power]: for the heavens [the old and corrupt places where understanding should be found and isn’t] shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
7 Hearken unto me [shama’ – hear this word as My voice and obey My good leading], you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is [mind, now overwritten with] my law; fear you not the reproach of men, neither be you afraid of their revilings [if they hate Me, they will hate you for the same reason, because you speak this word against their evil].
8 For the moth shall eat [with the mouth] them up like a garment, and the worm [with the mouth] shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation [making the last the first].
9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Are you not it that has cut Rahab [the proud in power], and wounded the dragon [men as whales and serpents devouring their prey with wide open mouths]?
10 Are you not it which has dried the sea [removed this understanding from humanity], the waters of the great deep [were darkned]; that has made [revealing] the depths [this deep understanding hidden in the darkness below the surface] of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over [‘abar – from death into life]?
11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing [this word repeated as received] unto Zion; and everlasting joy [realizing Your presence] shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
12 I, even I, Am he [the Paraclete] that comforts you [brings this peace again to light, leading with this goodness into all truth, therefore, choose good, refuse evil and it will flee from you]: who are you, that you shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
13 And forgets the LORD your maker, that has stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
14 The captive exile hasten that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit [the hell into which the blind have led the world], nor that his bread should fail [this word will not, cannot, fail, and only men can fail its grace, refusing His charity, good leading out of hell].
15 But I Am the LORD your God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared [against Me]: The LORD of hosts is his name [a man of war is My identity].
16 And I have put my words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the [new] heavens, and lay the foundations of the [new] earth, and say unto Zion, You are my people.
17 Awake, awake, stand up, O [New Heavenly] Jerusalem [My people in whom I dwell], which have drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; you have drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.
18 There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she has brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she has brought up.
19 These two things are come unto you; who shall be sorry for you? desolation, and destruction, and the famine [without this word from the mouth of God alone], and the sword [the same word against those who reject it, who refuse to receive it as the word from the mouth of God]: by whom shall I comfort you [is it not I Myself, speaking and word unknown among you, in the Paraclete, from who this word flows leading you into all truth]?
20 Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets [as the heads of all the institutions of church and state, all principalities and powers], as a wild bull [caught] in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of your God.
21 Therefore hear now this, you afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
22 Thus says your LORD [‘adown – the son of Joseph, David’s LORD, referring to Shiloh, the one in whom is found the greater peace than was found in Solomon, because it is everlasting] the LORD [Jehovah], and your God that pleads [riyb – wrestles, wars, with men who are ignorant it is Him and His presence manifested therein] the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; you shall no more drink it again:
23 But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict you; which have said to your soul, Bow down [under the evil of tyrants in power], that we may go over [‘abar – who think that by oppressing us they will achieve immortality]: and you have laid your body as the ground [‘erets – the earth they have corrupted into insanity], and as the street [their way to achieving their evil goal], to them that went over [‘abar – thinking this is the way into immortality].

Job 33
13 Why do you strive against [riyb] him? for he gives not account of any of his matters.
14 For God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not [because of their ignorance of Him].
15 In a dream [while men sleep here in death], in a vision of the night [when He sees for them in this time when ignorance of Him covers the earth], when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumbering upon the bed;
16 Then he opens the ears of men [to hear His voice as His], and seals [reveals from its hiding place: from their ignorance] their instruction [mocar – only used here, meaning correction],
17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose [his worthless acts], and hide pride from man.
18 He keeps back his soul from the pit [into which the blind fall and are held], and his life from perishing by the sword.
19 He is chastened [corrected] also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
20 So that his life abhors bread [his own words], and his soul dainty meat [his own understanding].
21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
23 If there be a messenger [mal’ak – an angel to deliver the LORD’s message as received] with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his [the LORD’s] uprightness:
24 Then he is gracious unto him [giving this gift to those who receive it as the LORD’s word, as it is], and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom [a redeemer].
25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:
26 He shall pray unto [converse with] God, and he will be favorable unto him: and he shall see his face [paniym] with joy [His presence will be realized in the conversation]: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
27 He looks upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light [understanding].
29 Lo, all these things works God oftentimes with man,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened [be given understanding] with the light [understanding] of the living.
31 Mark [qashab – hear this word as the voice of the LORD] well, O Job [God’s people who are hated by this corrupt world], hearken [shama’ – obey His voice if you hear Him speaking] unto me: hold your peace, and I will speak.
32 If you have anything to say, answer me: speak [open your mouth with this same word], for I desire to justify you.
33 If not, hearken [shama’] unto me: hold your peace, and I shall teach you wisdom.

Psalms 77
A Psalm for Asaph [to the gatherers]
1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.
2 In the day of my trouble [tsarah – tribulation] I sought the LORD: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted [they refused to receive His truth into which He led them].
3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.
4 You hold [‘achaz – seize upon] my eyes waking [to awaken them]: I am so troubled [by their own thoughts and ways] that I cannot speak [as the LORD commands].
5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with my own heart [considering your own ways and ideas are the cause of the troubles]: and my spirit made diligent search [as the LORD commanded, saying therein we would find Him]. [Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.]
7 Will the LORD cast off forever? and will he be favorable no more?
8 Is his mercy clean gone forever? does his promise fail for evermore?
9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? has he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High [when His power is seen].
11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember your wonders of old.
12 I will meditate also of all your work, and [seeing, opening their mouths] talk of your doings.
13 Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
14 You are the God that does wonders: you have declared your strength among the people.
15 You have with your arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
16 The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound [of your voice]: your arrows also went abroad.
18 The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened [gave understanding to] the world: the earth trembled and shook [to shake the wicked from it].
19 Your way is in the sea [among the people, humanity, at large], and your path [way] in the great waters [this understanding He’s given], and your footsteps are not known.
20 You [Your presence unknown] led your people like a flock by the hand [in the obedient work] of Moses [drawn out of the corrupt waters of the earth] and Aaron [light bringer, giving the LORD’s word as received].

Psalms 119
153 Consider my affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget your law.
154 Plead [riyb] my cause [riyb], and deliver me: quicken me [from death into life] according to your word [according to the scriptures rightly divided].
155 Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not your statutes.
156 Great are your tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to your judgments.
157 Many are my persecutors and my enemies; yet do I not decline from your testimonies.
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not your word.
159 Consider how I love your precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to your lovingkindness.
160 Your word is true from the beginning: and every one of your righteous judgments endures forever.
161 Princes [the false gods, the powers, of this corrupt world] have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart stands in awe of your word.
162 I rejoice at your word, as one that finds great spoil [innumerable treasures, Your gift, Your grace].
163 I hate and abhor lying: but your law [the pure word from Your mouth] do I love.
164 Seven times a day do I praise you because of your righteous judgments.
165 Great peace have they which love your law: and nothing shall offend them.
166 LORD, I have hoped for your salvation, and done your commandments.
167 My soul has kept [shamar – guarded against comrruption] your testimonies [‘edah – Your witness here recorded]; and I love them exceedingly.
168 I have kept [shamar – guarded against corruption] your precepts [line upon line, precept upon precept] and your testimonies [‘edah – Your witness here recorded]: for all my ways are before you.
169 Let my cry come near before you [paniym – be known as Your manifested presence], O LORD: give me understanding according to your word [according to the scriptures].
170 Let my supplication come before you: deliver me according to your word [according to the scriptures].
171 My lips shall utter praise [repeating Your words as received, as commanded], when you have taught me your statutes.
172 [Let all God’s people say] My tongue shall speak of your word: for all your commandments are righteousness.
173 Let your hand help me; for I have chosen your precepts.
174 I have longed for your salvation, O LORD; and your law is my delight.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise you; and let your judgments help me.
176 I [all] have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I do not forget your commandments.

Psalms 144
A Psalm of David
1 Blessed be the LORD my strength [who has given me His mind, His endless, relentless, understanding] which teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdues my people under me.
3 LORD, what is man, that you take knowledge of him! or the son of man, that you make account of him!
4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passes away.
5 Bow your heavens [where Your understanding is always and from where it is sent], O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains [all the corrupt institutions of church and state], and they shall smoke.
6 Cast forth lightning [Your understanding sent from Your throne in the cloud], and scatter them: shoot out your arrows, and destroy them.
7 Send your hand [Your work] from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters [the many ignorant opinions of many antichrists], from the hand of strange children [who ignorantly offer strange fire in Your name];
8 Whose mouth speak vanity [worthless words], and their right hand is a right hand of [their work and their power, which is] falsehood.
9 I will sing a new song [repeating these words you have given all to be repeated as received] unto you, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto you.
10 It is he that gives salvation unto kings: who delivers David [I Am] his servant from the hurtful sword [words of guile and malice].
11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouths speak vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace [from where You rule in righteousness]:
13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
14 That our oxen [those working in the earth] may be strong to labor; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
