Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

10 – 13 March 2025

Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

The word rendered “entangle” is the once-used Greek word pagideuo, from the words pagis (a snare) and deo (to bind).

In the above scenario (Matthew 22:15), the advantage is the LORD’s because everything the Pharisees (the religious of our time, the leaders and teachers of God’s people) know are clichés and platitudes (light that’s become darkness and salt that’s lost its savor). It is their manner to find fault (straying from their corrupt understanding) in others and bind them to it to destroy them, which we know is what the LORD brings back upon them, letting their own words and ways ensnare them instead.

Matthew 6
22 The light [understanding and life] of the body is the eye [seeing as the LORD sees]: if therefore your eye be single [haplous – not many {opinions}], your whole [ONE] body shall be full of light [understanding and life].
23 But if your eye be evil [poneros], your whole body shall be full of darkness [ignorance]. If, therefore, the light [understanding] that is in you be darkness [ignorance], how great is that darkness!

1 John 5
17 All unrighteousness [adikia – corrupt judgment] is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself [from corruption], and that wicked one [poneros] touches [affects] him not.
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies [is buried] in wickedness [poneros].
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols [the religious create and put in the place of the true God]. Amen.

2 John 1
1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love [agapao] in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth [and give it as received, as commanded];
2 For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us forever.
3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the LORD Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love [agape – charity, giving this word as received].
4 I rejoiced [chairo] greatly that I found of your children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
5 And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.
7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9 Whosoever transgresses [parabaino – walks beside {departs from the truth}], and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides [meno – stays {remains with the truth}] in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father [abiding in him] and [is thereby] the Son [of God and the son of man].
10 If there come any unto you, and bring [phero – carrying as they walk to you] not this doctrine [that Jesus Christ, Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh, is God manifested with us, in us, all in all], receive him not into your house, neither bid him Godspeed [chairo]:
11 For he that bids him Godspeed [chairo] is partaker of [kiononeo – partner with] his evil [poneros] deeds [his transgression].
12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you [carrying this truth], and speak [laleo – as the seven thunders “uttering” the things reserved for this time] face to face, that our joy [chara] may be full.
13 The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.

The word twice above rendered “face” is stoma, meaning mouth. It appears seventy-nine times, rendered “mouth,” except above twice, rendered “face” two times in 3 John, and twice as the “edge” of the sword (Luke 21:24 and Hebrews 11:34).

The word chairo, from where comes the word chara, is the greeting (salutation) spoken when meeting a fellow Christian (face to face – mouth to mouth) and the joy experienced by each in realizing the LORD’s presence, not only in us, but hearing His voice (speaking the same mind) realizing He is (joined) with us also (as in the Paraclete, a partner, koinoneo, joined with us in the battle, as ONE BODY).

Luke 21
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you [all the apostles and Godly men then present with this truth], and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony [And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit {the endless fall away from the LORD and His truth} shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. Revelation 11:7]
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what you shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth [stoma] and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. [And they overcame him {the beast – Babylon, the blinding confusion that now rule the world} by the blood {the sacrifice necessary when deliver this word from the mouth} of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.]
16 And you shall be betrayed [as the LORD was betrayed, their written testimony delivered into the hands of those who would and did corrupt it] both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake [my identity in you speaking and working].
18 But there shall not a hair [the things grown in your minds and manifested outwardly in your written testimony] of your heads perish.
19 In your patience [waiting for this day, this time when all is perfected: complete] possess you your souls [and you will rise again with Me here and now].
20 And when you shall see Jerusalem [all God’s people at large] compassed with armies [of darkness], then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea [under the rule of the current crop of corrupt leaders, who are confederate with the confusion, Babylon that rules the world] flee to the mountains [God’s just governments, in Zion]; and let them which are in the midst of it [confusion] depart out; and let not them that are in the countries [of confusion] enter thereinto [this place where peace rules].
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. [The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple. Jeremiah 50:28]
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck [bring up their young the right way, because the war is against truth, reality, and sanity itself], in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath [of Babylon] upon this people.
24 And they shall fall [piotes – from heaven, away from truth] by the edge [stoma] of the sword [the mouths of Babylon: confusion], and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem [all God’s people] shall be trodden down of the Gentiles [and none know the LORD], until the times of the Gentiles [this complete desolation of His people, by abomination men created and put in God’s place] be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun [the church darkened: lacking this understanding], and in the moon [civil government also darkened, draining life from humanity], and in the stars [all God’s people also darkened and fallen from heaven]; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [And said, Hitherto shall you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves be stayed? Job 38:11]
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven [where understanding should be found and isn’t] shall be shaken [so the wicked are shaken from them]. [That it {the dayspring} might take hold of the ends of the {old and new} earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it {the new}? Job 38:13]
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud [with full understanding] with power and great glory. [Have you commanded the morning since your days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; Job 38:12]
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.
29 And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, you see and know of your own selves that summer is now near at hand.
31 So likewise you, when you [now] see these things come to pass, know you that the kingdom of God is near at hand.
32 Truly I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 [the old and corrupt] Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words [as in verse 18 above] shall not pass away [not perish].
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts [minds] be overcharged with surfeiting [consumed by the time, the evil of this generation], and drunkenness [minds unable to think rationally], and cares of this life, and so that day [this moment of understanding] come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare [pagis] shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch you therefore, and pray [converse with God] always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The following is from the post of 16 December 2019, with today’s additions in double brackets.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

The above, 1 Corinthians 13:11, is speaking when we will fully know the meaning of what has been spoken in part by the prophets and apostles, when we see the LORD face to face. This is said about the superiority of charity, meaning giving as the LORD has prospered us, given us treasures He has reserved in His storehouse. The treasures are the things, ideas and words, we have only known in part, which we have until now only seen through a glass darkly. We were ignorant of their full meaning, until the LORD came and gathered them together giving us full understanding. “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets.” Revelation 10:7

1 Corinthians 13
4 Charity [[agape – giving this understanding as received]] suffers long, and is kind; charity [[agape]] envies not; charity [[agape]] vaunts not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
6 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Charity [[agape]] never fails: but whether there be prophecies [[while in ignorance without full understanding]], they shall fail [[katargeo]]; whether there be tongues. [[speaking things not understood]], they shall cease; whether there be [[partial]] knowledge, it shall vanish away [[katargeo]].
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away [[katargeo]] childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face [[prosopon]] to face [[prosopon – His presence with us, in us realized]]: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I Am known.
13 And now abides faith [[that it is His word]], hope [[that it produce this end, the creation of the man]], charity [[agape – by this gift, leading us out of ignorance of Him and his truth]], these three; but the greatest of these is charity [[agape – the love, giving of His truth that effectually works in us]].

[[2 Thessalonians 2
8 And then shall that Wicked [those opposing this word, as they have throughout history, exalting their opinions above truth]] be revealed [apokalupto – this apocalypse, the uncovering of the wicked], whom the LORD shall consume with the spirit of his mouth [stoma], and shall destroy with the brightness [giving this understanding] of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan [destroying all truth and causing the endless fall away from it and the LORD] with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love [agape – giving] of the truth, that they might be [by this truth] saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.]]

The LORD began today showing this as written in 1 Corinthians 16:1 in its association with Galatians 3, 5 & 6, and 1 Corinthians 13 & 15. These all speak of gathering His word as He gathers His people to Himself, coming (now come to those who have received Him) and expanding the meaning reserved, as if frozen in a stone, in heaven, to be released (as if hailstones) at the [[appointed]] time. This is what has ended corruption and brought life and immortality to our understanding.

2 Timothy 1
6 Wherefore I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love [[agape]], and of a sound mind.
8 Be not you therefore ashamed of the testimony of our LORD, nor of me his prisoner: but be you partaker of the afflictions [[the necessary sacrifice]] of the gospel according to the power of God [[delivering His word and declaring it’s His presence]];
9 Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10 But is now made manifest [[phaneroo – made apparent]] by the appearing [[epiphaneia – manifested presence]] of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light [[understanding, life]] through the gospel:
11 Whereunto I Am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles [[all those who haven’t known Him]].
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day [[when all understand He lives with us, in us, always all in all].
13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which you have heard of me, in faith and love [[agape – this word given as received]] which is in Christ Jesus.
14 That good thing [[His word received as His and Him]] which was committed unto you keep by the Holy Ghost [who we now know is the LORD Himself] which dwells in us.

1 Corinthians 15
33 Be not deceived: evil communications [homilia – joining with, intercourse with, corruption: the wicked and their evil ways and ideas] corrupt good manners [ethos – good moral habits, and the place that houses them].
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 You fool, that which you sow is not quickened [brought to life], except it die:
37 And that which you sow, you sow not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God gives it a [human] body as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial [heavenly] bodies, and bodies [worldly] terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial [heavenly] is one, and the glory of the [worldly] terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown [[into the earth]] in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [[the first man of he LORD’s new creation]] was made a quickening spirit [[bringing dead flesh to life by the LORD’s Spirit risen in him]].
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the LORD from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD [[in us alive speaking and working]], forasmuch as you know that your labor [[His word and work]] is not in vain in the LORD.

1 Corinthians 16
1 Now concerning [peri – the central point is] the collection [logia, the same as gathering in the next verse] for the saints, as I have given order [diatasso – thoroughly arranged – see “ordained by angels” in Galatians 3:19] to the churches of Galatia, even so do you.
2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store [treasures God has given from His storehouse], as God has prospered [euodoo – helped on the road – highway] him, that there be no gatherings [logia – of ideas] when I come [so there will be no misunderstanding].
3 And when I come, whomsoever you shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality [[charis – God’s grace given]] unto Jerusalem [[His people at large]].
4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5 Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia [[the houses of dead flesh]]: for I do pass through Macedonia [[into death and from there be raise to life]].
6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that you may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the LORD permit.
8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost [[until the LORD permits the many to rise with Him]].
9 For a great door and effectual [[to receive and give His word]] is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10 Now if Timothy [[I Am]] come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he works the work of the LORD, as I also do.
11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13 Watch you, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men [[who have put away childish things]], be strong [[in the understanding the LORD has given us]].
14 Let all your things be done with charity [[agape]].
15 I beseech you, brethren, (you know the house of Stephanas [the LORD has crowned], that it is the first-fruits of Achaia [the first brought out of troubles, tribulation], and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of [[these treasures to]] the saints,)
16 That you submit [[hupotasso – obey, subordinate your minds to the same treasures]] yourselves unto such, and to every one that helps with us, and labors.
17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas [those the LORD has crowned] and Fortunatus [upon whom He has bestowed His treasures] and Achaicus [who were before held in troubles, tribulation]: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge you them that are such.
19 The churches of Asia [those who before fought against the LORD at His coming] salute you. Aquila and Priscilla [the ancients who have renewed their strength and risen up on wings as eagles] salute you much in the LORD, with the church that is in their house.
20 All the brethren greet you. Greet you one another with a holy kiss.
21 The salutation of me Paul with my own hand.
22 If any man love not the LORD Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema [cursed] Maranatha [now that our LORD has come: “The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire”].
23 The grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with you.
24 My love [[agape – this word of the LORD given as received]] be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

The Greek word logia only appears in 1 Corinthians 16:1 & 2 above, rendered “collection” and “gathering.” It is from the word logos, meaning thoughts and ideas – the full meaning as follows: “something said (including the thought); by implication, a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension, a computation; specially, (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (i.e. Christ)”

Logia is telling of the compilation of many ideas into one topic, which is the expression of God that occurs through/in Christ. When Paul, in 1 Corinthians 16:2, says these things were given “in order” to the Galatians, he is referring us first to Galatians 3:19, where he says they were “ordained” by angels (messages of God, ordered by the mediator). He then goes on to tell of the superiority of this process, charity (giving these ideas, as received) that bring faith and frees us from the schoolmaster, which is the Law of sin bringing death (referred to in 1 Corinthians 15:56 & 57).

Galatians 3
1 O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth [[prographo – written of before]], crucified among you? [[The word proprapho, meaning “to write previously; figuratively, to announce, prescribe,” only appears four other times. Romans 15:3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached you fell on me. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime {prographo} were written {prographo} for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ. Ephesians 3:2 If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace {dispensing these treasures} of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore {prographo} in few words, 4 Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles {all who haven’t known the LORD} should be fellow heirs, and of the same {ONE} body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power {His word in me working}. Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once {hapax} delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares {putting themselves in God’s place}, who were before of old ordained {prographo} to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only LORD God, and our LORD Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once {hapax} knew this, how that the LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate {giving God’s word as received}, but left their own habitation {now speaking their own words}, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness {ignorance of which they are ignorant} unto the judgment of the great day {of this apocalypse}.]]
2 This only would I learn of you, Received you the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith [[that this is His voice and Him present]]?
3 Are you so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh?
4 Have you suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
5 He therefore that ministers to you the Spirit, and works miracles among you, does he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith [[hearing His voice and declaring it is Him present]]?
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7 Know you therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In you shall all nations be blessed.
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that does them shall live in them.
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannul, or adds thereto.
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He said not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to your seed, which is Christ [[the LORD manifested in the flesh of His ONE BODY]].
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19 Wherefore then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained [diatasso] by angels in the hand of a mediator.
20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness should have been by the law.
22 But the scripture has concluded all [[everyone]] under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ [[Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh He chooses]] might be given to them that believe [[He is manifesting His presence in His word]].
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith [[in His word heard]] which should afterwards be revealed [[apokalupto – at this apocalypse]].
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one [[BODY]] in Christ Jesus [[Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in our flesh, through one mind and one voice].
29 And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 4
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child [[remaining with childish things]], differs nothing from a servant, though he be LORD of all;
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed [[this moment]] of the father.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements [stoicheion – the corrupt ways and ideas of men, their leaven] of the world:
4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts [[removing corruption from our minds]], crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore you are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then a heir of God through Christ.
8 Howbeit then, when you knew not God, you did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
9 But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements [stoicheion – the corrupt ways and ideas of men, their leaven], whereunto you desire again to be in bondage?
10 You observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain.
12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as you are: you have not injured me at all.
13 You know how through infirmity [[weakness: without strength]] of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
14 And my temptation which was in my flesh you despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God. [[carrying His message to give it as received]], even as Christ Jesus [[Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in my flesh, in the message]].
15 Where is then the blessedness [[makarismos – of those the LORD imputes righteousness without works]] you spoke of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me [[wanting him to see with the same corrupt understanding they have, not seeing our works are Him working through us]].
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17 They zealously affect you [[with their corruption, trying to prove they are right and the LORD is wrong]], but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that [[the LORD in]] you might affect them.
18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
21 Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai [[among thorns, those misleading His people]], which genders to bondage, which is Agar [[who’ve fled from the truth]].
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia [[in desolation]], and answers to Jerusalem [[God’s people, the carcass, the dead body of Christ]] which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But [[New Heavenly]] Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, you barren that bears not; break forth and cry, you that travails not: for the desolate has many more children than she which has a husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise [[this end in the LORD’s presence]].
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what says the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Galatians 5
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has [[by the love of His truth]] made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if you be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; you are fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith [[believing this is the word of God leading us into all truth]].
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love [[agape – by giving this word as received]].
7 You did run well; who did hinder you that you should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion comes not of him that calls you.
9 A little leaven [[corruption]] leavens the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you through the LORD, that you will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubles you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13 For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love [[agape – by giving this word a received]] serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word [logos – one idea], even in this; You shall love [[agapao – giving this word as received]] your neighbor as yourself.
15 But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would.
18 But if you be led of the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians 6
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
2 Bear you one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
3 For if a man thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
6 Let him that is taught in the word [logos – these ideas] communicate [koinoneo – share this word {logos} with others – have charity and give as you have been given] unto him that teaches in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith [[believing this word is the LORD speaking and working]].
11 You see how large a letter I have written unto you with my own hand.
12 As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our LORD Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature [[in this new creation]].
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the LORD Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Jeremiah 29
8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.
9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, says the LORD.
10 For thus says the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit [[paqad]] you [[as the Chief Overseer of the earth – see verse 32 below]], and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall you call upon me, and you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, says the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, says the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
15 Because you have said, The LORD has raised us up prophets in Babylon;
16 Know that thus says the LORD of the king that sits upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwell in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
17 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:
19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, says the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but you would not hear, says the LORD.
20 Hear you therefore the word of the LORD, all you of the captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon:
21 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah [the false father who says he is the voice of Jehovah], and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah [who say they are the righteousness and work of Jehovah], which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon [into the hand of their lies and the confusion they have caused to rules over the world]; and he shall slay them before your eyes;
22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire [see 1 Corinthians 16:22 above];
23 Because they have committed villainy in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, says the LORD.
24 Thus shall you also speak to Shemaiah [who Jehovah has heard] the Nehelamite [deceived by his own dreams – see verse 8 above], saying,
25 Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because you have sent letters in your name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah [those who Jehovah has given His treasures] the son of Maaseiah the priest [for the work of Jehovah], and to all the priests, saying,
26 The LORD has made you priest in the stead of Jehoiada [those who have known Jehovah] the priest, that you should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad [for every man there is out of his mind, deluded], and makes himself a prophet, that you should put him in prison, and in the stocks.
27 Now therefore why have you not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth [Jehovah rising among the afflicted [[who hear Him speaking]]], which make himself a prophet to you?
28 For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build you houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
29 And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.
30 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
31 Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus says the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite [[those deceived by their own mind’s creations, who delusions Jehovah has heard]]; Because that Shemaiah has prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:
32 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will punish [[paqad – as the Chief Overseer of the earth]] Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good [[word]] that I will do for my people, says the LORD; because he has taught rebellion against the LORD.

Isaiah 1
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel does not know, my people does not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
5 Why should you be stricken any more? you will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers [[corruption as a vine overgrowing all else]], as a besieged city.
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small [[elect]] remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
10 Hear [[shama’ – and obey]] the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When you come to appear [[ra’ah]] before me [[paniym – see My presence]], who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If you be willing and obedient [[shama’ – and hear My voice]], you shall eat the good of the land [[‘erets – the new earth]]:
20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
21 How is the faithful city become a harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
22 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water:
23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one love gifts, and follow after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them.
24 Therefore says the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of my adversaries, and avenge me of my enemies:
25 And I will turn my hand upon you, and purely purge away your dross, and take away all your tin:
26 And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts [[shuwb – those who return to the LORD]] with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

[[1 Peter 4
10 As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as you are partakers [koinoneo] of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed [apokalupto], you may be glad [chairo – Godspeed] also with exceeding joy.
14 If you be reproached for the name [the identity] of Christ [manifested in you], happy are you; for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?]]

Psalms 5
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto you will I pray.
3 My voice shall you hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto you, and will look up.
4 For you are not a God that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with you.
5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hate all workers of iniquity.
6 You shall destroy them that speak falsehood: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
7 But as for me, I will come into your house in the multitude of your mercy: and in your fear will I worship toward your holy temple.
8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.
9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue.
10 Destroy you them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against you.
11 But let all those that put their trust in you rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them: let them also that love your name be joyful in you.
12 For you, LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor will you compass him as with a shield.
