If you prepare your heart, and stretch out your hands toward him; If iniquity be in your hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in your tabernacles.

16 – 20 February 2024 PART 1 OF 2

If you prepare your heart, and stretch out your hands toward him; If iniquity be in your hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in your tabernacles.

The above, Job 11:13 & 14, comes as one of Job’s (God’s hated people, now descended into desolation and physical affliction) friends accuses Him based on a carnal-minded perception of his (Job’s) experience.

This (one of three) accuser’s name is Zohpar, said to mean (by the Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary) “departure,” from the word tsaphar, meaning “to skip about, i.e. to return:– depart early.”

In this definition, we understand the above verses and the falsity (evil) in the doctrine. The accusation speaks of the things that were in Job’s hand, his possessions (mammon, which is temporal), and wickedness in his tent (‘ohel – a covering, a dwelling place taken down and moved as necessary) as the cause of his condition.

Here the LORD, using this name, speaks to us of these things, revealing the mystery (tsaphan) hidden therein, first of the accusers’ departure from Him, and our then, taking down our tent, departing their “wickedness,” here described using the word ‘evel, meaning moral evil. This pattern speaks of, by departures into false doctrines of men, the scattering of God’s people, which itself requires mass departure (the exodus) from this wickedness (into the wilderness) and the return into the ONE BODY, one right mind taught there (in the wilderness) under God.

The name has an unstated but obvious affinity to the word tsuwr, meaning “from 6696 [tsuwr – cramp, i.e, confine, which hostile intent]; properly, a cliff (or sharp rock, as compressed); generally, a rock or boulder; figuratively, a refuge; also an edge (as precipitous).”

It is at this precipice, this pending calamity, that the LORD speaks as water flowing from Christ our Rock (tsuwr), saving us through uncovering (apokalupsis) wickedness as the cause, from which we depart (the apocalypse: the falsely so-called end of the world, when, in fact, it is evil revealed, ending its darkness, and, in this rescue, creating a new heaven and earth, wherein dwells righteousness).

The word tsaphar only appears one time, in Judges 7:3, as the LORD begins to weed out the weak (minded) and cowardly; to the end, He assembles an army of three hundred who obey His commands and, in doing, defeats those (the Midianites) causing endless strife and contention among His people. As we know, Jerubbaal (Baal will contend), who is Gideon (feller of the mighty, the warrior of God – as I Am), is the leader the LORD raises to command His army.

Judges 7
1 Then Jerubbaal [the LORD will join the battle against Baal: war against those, enemies foreign and domestic, who’ve caused endless strife and contention among His people], who is Gideon [the feller of the groves of these mighty men], and all the people that were with him, rose up early [shakam – inclined themselves to carry this burden], and pitched [chanah – their tent] beside [against] the well of Harod [the words causing the fear and trembling of the cowardly]: so that the host of the Midianites [the army of those speaking evil] were on the north side [tsaphown – the place of darkness, wherein the mysteries are held: reserved for this time of war] of them, by the hill of Moreh [the teaching that exalts itself above God’s], in the valley [against the lowly].
2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, My own hand has saved me.
3 Now, therefore, go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early [tsaphar] from mount Gilead [this mountain where the LORD’s word is heard]. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand [who are doubly confused: by listening to the voices of church and state: men from the altar of Baal among them]; and there remained ten thousand.
4 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water [this word of God], and I will try them for you there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto you, This shall go with you, the same shall go with you; and of whomsoever I say unto you, This shall not go with you, the same shall not go.
5 So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon [the hewer of men as trees – the LORD’s man of war], Every one that laps [laqaq, with affinity to laqash {leqesh}, meaning to gather the after crop {aftermath}: the second harvest] of the water [this latter rain] with his tongue [speaking as received], as a dog laps [as Caleb believed God and saw as He sees], him shall you set by himself; likewise every one that bows down upon his knees to drink [who cannot stand because they are weak without the foundation of understanding].
6 And the number of them that lapped [laqaq], putting their hand to their mouth [who with strength stand, without fear, alert with understanding this word of God and ready to Obey His commands and work in the battle], were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees [bowed to the confusion they’ve learned elsewhere] to drink water [this word of God].
7 And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped [laqaq] will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
8 So the people took victuals [tseydah – this word God has provided] in their hand, and their trumpets [to call all to the battle]: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent [‘ohel], and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian [stife – who are the cause the endless agitation of God’s people] was beneath him in the valley
9 And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him [Gideon – the warrior who is the feller of the mighty], Arise, get you down unto the host [the army of Midian]; for I have delivered it into your hand.
10 But if you fear to go down, go you with Phurah [only appearing here, meaning foliage, from pa’ar – meaning “to gleam, i.e. (causatively) embellish; figuratively, to boast; also to explain (i.e. make clear) oneself; denominative from 6288, to shake a tree,” those in whom God is glorified] your servant down to the host:
11 And you shall hear [shama’ – shall obey after you hear] what they say; and afterward shall your hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah [foliage – those who’ve sprouted to life: the elect remnant, whose mouths are opened to make all things clearly seen as they boast of the LORD with us] his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host [as locust coming against the foliage]. [Isaiah 44:23 Sing {repeat His words}, O you heavens; for the LORD has done it: shout {as a trumpet of God}, you lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself {pa’ar} in Israel.]
12 And the Midianites [those causing endless strife among God’s people] and the Amalekites [the enemies of God’s people, who’ve warred against them in every generation] and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers [as a swarm of locust] for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side [dry land upon which God’s word has come, showing this is the time and season of the end] for multitude.
13 And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread [this word of God] tumbled [came down from heaven] into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent [‘ohel – what covers them in this time of desolation wandering in the wilderness], and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent [‘ohel] lay along [the corrupt, who haven’t known the LORD, as trees felled].
14 And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon [the warrior of God and feller of the mighty] the son of Joash [given by Jehovah], a man of Israel: for into his hand has God delivered Midian, and all the host.
15 And it was so, when Gideon heard [shama’ – obeyed after] the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel [the elect remnant, the three hundred], and said, Arise; for the LORD has delivered into your hand the host of Midian.
16 And he divided [as Jacob divided his family] the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers [where there is no water as a flood], and lamps within the pitchers [My word as fire, replacing the flood, to end the old and corrupt world].
17 And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall you do.
18 When I blow with a trumpet [the LORD’s voice exalted], I and all that are with me, then blow you the trumpets [exalting this sword of the LORD] also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword [this word as fire from our mouths, against the fires of the wicked] of the LORD, and of Gideon.
19 So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers [showing they are worthless, no longer carrying the word of God] that were in their hands.
20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and broke the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.
21 And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled. [Jeremiah 50:44 Behold, he {the LORD, I Am} shall come up like a lion from {roaring as a trumpet sounding against them} the swelling of Jordan {against the words that carried all in the descent into death} unto the habitation of the strong {in power}: but I will make them {the wicked} suddenly run away from her {My people they have oppressed}: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? {All these are references to Michael, who is like God and stands for God’s people in this time of Jacob’s trouble, and Shiloh, who comes as the shepherd and stone of God’s people – the king of peace, and king of righteousness, in the order of Melchizedek.}]
22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah [house of trees – powers that are causing strife, who Gideon has cut down] in Zererath [the oppressors], and to the border of Abelmeholah [the field of rejoicing], unto Tabbath [celebration].
23 And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali [those who were before wrestling with God and His word, now knowing it is Him], and out of Asher [now rejoicing and celebrating, knowing Him], and out of all Manasseh [now that they remember the God they had forgotten], and pursued after the Midianites [those who, through their lie, intentionally cause strife].
24 And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim [all God’s people in these last days], saying, come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah [the people who ford, cross over into life in the promised end] and Jordan [over the rivers, words of the wicked, that carry all into death]. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
25 And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb [raven – covered in darkness] and Zeeb [wolf – who scattered God’s people]; and they slew Oreb upon the rock [tsuwr – the place from where their words of strife flow] Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan [overcoming these men’s misleading words, passing over death into life].

The above, the end of the foreign enemies, comes after we’re told in the previous chapter of the falling away from the LORD, to Baal. The chapter speaks of Gideon’s destruction of the altar of Baal and felling the groves: bringing down the mighty, cutting them off, which Gideon sees as a fleece upon which dew (waters, words, that appears when elements congeal) is and then isn’t.

Judges 6
1 And the children of Israel [the people of God] did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
2 And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.
3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they [as a warm of locust] came up against them;
4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till you come unto Gaza [until strength returns], and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.
6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.
7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD because of the Midianites,
8 That the LORD sent a prophet [a messenger, as the angel of His presence] unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;
9 And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drove them out from before you, and gave you their land;
10 And I said unto you, I am the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites [those exalting their words above God’s], in whose land you dwell: but you have not obeyed [shama’] my voice.
11 And there came an angel of the LORD [the messenger of His presence], and sat under an oak [the strength of the upright] which was in Ophrah [in the dust of the current ruin], that pertained unto Joash [the flame given by Jehovah] the Abiezrite [from where comes the Father’s help]: and his son Gideon [the feller of the mighty] threshed wheat [separating the worthless from these treasures of God, discerning good and evil, choosing the good and refusing evil] by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites. [Job 38: 15 And from the wicked their light {understanding} is withheld, and the high arm {of the mighty in power} shall be broken.]
12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor.
13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my LORD, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD has forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this [remembering Me, seeing Me in My Almighty power revealed] your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent you?
15 And he said unto him, Oh my LORD, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh [forgotten the LORD], and I Am the least in my father’s house.
16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with you, and you shall smite the Midianites as one [‘echad – united as ONE] man.
17 And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in your sight [found these treasures by Your sight, seeing as You see], then show me a sign that you talk with me.
18 Depart not hence, I pray you, until I come unto you, and bring forth my present [bring this offering, Your treasures out of darkness], and set it before [paniym – in Your manifested presence] you. And he [the LORD’s messenger] said, I will tarry until you come again.
19 And Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes [without corruption] of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought it out unto him under the oak [these things offered are what strengthens the upright], and presented it.
20 And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock [cela’ – the LORD’s strong ones] and pour out the broth. And he did so.
21 Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock [tsuwr – the ONE BODY of Christ], and consumed the flesh [bringing forth the Spirit veiled therein] and the unleavened cakes [that fell upon the tent of the Midianites, as the sword from the mouth of the LORD]. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight [became Gideon’s way, by the eye of the LORD revealed, seeing as He sees].
22 And when Gideon perceived [ra’ah – was shepherded into seeing] that he was an angel [the messenger in who is manifested the presence] of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O LORD God! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face [paniym – seeing Jehovah’s presence in the messenger] to face [paniym – to manifest His presence in Gideon and those with him, by seeing as He sees].
23 And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto you; fear not: you shall not die [as is though would happen to any who see Him].
24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom [Jehovah’s peace and security found in His presence revealed]: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah [in the dust of the earth’s ruin, from where man is again created] of the Abiezrites [from where again has come the Father’s strength, His help].
25 And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take your father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal [the creations men put in God’s place and call by His name] that your father has, and cut down [karath] the grove [felling the mighty, the corrupt powers] that is by it:
26 And build an altar unto the LORD your God upon the top [highest esteem – time, I Am] of this rock [the ONE BODY of Christ], in the ordered place [ma’arakah – as the commander of His assembled army], and take the second bullock [the second crop harvested], and offer a burnt sacrifice [saved as it were by fire] with the wood of the grove which you shall cut down [karath].
27 Then Gideon took ten [the number of ordinal perfection] men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father’s household, and the [disordered, self-willed] men of the city, that he could not do it by day [not in a way they understood], that he did it by night [this consecration, inauguration, of which the old orders are ignorant].
28 And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal [idols, abominations men created and put in the LORD’s place] was cast down [nathats – overthrown], and the grove [men as a crop of corrupt leaders, thought to be the upright of the world they’ve defiles by their abomination they put in God’s place call by His name] was cut down [karath] that was by it, and the second bullock [the new crop willing to obey, do the LORD’s work, and at His command open their mouth’s in battle] was offered upon the altar that was built.
29 And they said one to another, Who has done this thing? And when they enquired and asked, they said, Gideon [the warrior of God and feller of the mighty] the son of Joash [given by Jehovah] has done this thing.
30 Then the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring out your son, that he may die: because he has cast down [nathats – overthrown] the altar of Baal, and because he has cut down [karath] the grove that was by it.
31 And Joash said unto all that stood against him, Will you plead for Baal? will you save him? he that will plead for him, let him be put to death whilst it is yet morning [when this understanding comes]: if he be a god, let him plead for himself, because one has cast down his altar.
32 Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he has thrown down [nathats – overthrown] his altar.
33 Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel [against this new crop the LORD has sown into the earth].
34 But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet [calling His army to assemble in the LORD’s presence]; and Abiezer [they were helped by the Father, becoming His children by obeying His correction] was gathered [za’aq – proclaiming the LORD’s presence in His warrior] after him.
35 And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh [to all those who’ve forgotten the LORD is a man of war]; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers [mal’ak – angels, those sent with this word] unto Asher [those who will rejoice in hearing it declaring the LORD’s presence and announcing this is the time of His people’s rescue], and unto Zebulun [when this word of God is exalted above the words of all others], and unto Naphtali [by those who before wrestled with this word, and were unable to comprehend it is His presence manifested]; and they came up to meet them.
36 And Gideon said unto God, If you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said,
37 Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor [goren – only appearing this once in Judges, it the threshing-floor, where, after the harvest, wheat is separated from the chaff]; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said.
38 And it was so: for he rose up early [first from the dead] on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.
39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not your anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray you, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.
40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground [‘erets – earth].

The word above, only used here (seven times), renders “fleece,” is gazzah, from the word gazaz, meaning “to cut off; specifically to shear a flock or shave the hair; figuratively to destroy an enemy.”

These words speak of the LORD’s presence manifested in the dew, the waters, His word now against those who are to be cut off, sheared from His flock from which their words are rung out. Then, after this threshing, separating the wheat from the chaff, those who’ve become His children (ben) by His correction, the word no longer seen is these men, and instead is, through us, sent upon all the earth.

Isaiah 21
5 Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, you princes, and anoint [the one who is] the shield.
6 For thus has the LORD said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him [open his mouth and] declare what he sees.
7 And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels [as an army going to battle]; and he hearkened diligently [obeying this voice of the LORD] with much heed:
8 And he cried, A lion [‘ariy – the body of Christ rising by/with His strength]: My LORD, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime [when Your understand is with me], and I am set in my ward whole nights [while darkness covers the earth]:
9 And, behold, here comes a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen [from the battle into which the LORD sent them]. And he answered and said, Babylon [confusion’s rule] is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he has broken [as a feller fells trees] unto the ground.
10 O my threshing [opening the word, referring us to Isaiah 28, and destroying the gates of hell], and the corn [ben – sons] of my [threshing] floor: that which I have heard [and obeyed] of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.

The above threshing is the baptism of repentance sent to all the earth to right its course and, from its darkest moment, bring upon it life again.

Nahum 1
1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite [the Comforter, who is also God the ensnarer].
2 God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan languishes, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languishes.
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.
8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end [kalah] of the place thereof, and darkness [their own ignorance] shall pursue his enemies.
9 What do you imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end [kalah]: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
10 For while they be folded together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.
11 There is one come out of you, that imagines evil [ra’] against the LORD, a wicked counselor [ya’ats].
12 Thus says the LORD; Though they be quiet [shalam – though they think their power is secure], and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down [gazaz], when he shall pass through [‘abar – passing over to bring us from death into life]. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
13 For now will I break his yoke [of the wicked joined among you] from off you, and will burst your bonds in sunder.
14 And the LORD has given a commandment concerning you, that no more of your name be sown: out of the house of your gods will I cut off [karath] the graven image and the molten image: I will make your grave; for you are vile.
15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows [neder]: for the wicked shall no more pass through you [‘abar – no longer bring the living into death]; he is utterly cut off [karath].

1 Corinthians 15
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed [allasso].
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?

The LORD says, in Hoses 13:14 (from where this last verse is quoted), He will not repent from this work of uncovering this mystery (cathar – thing and matters concealed), which is victory over and destruction of death and hell. The word there rendered “repentance” is the once-used word nocham, “from 5162; ruefulness, i.e. desistance:–repentance.” The word it’s from is nacham (Nahum) meaning comfort, as in the Holy Spirit (the Paraclete, the Comforter), the LORD working unknown to lead us into all truth.

Hosea 13
6 According to their pasture [of corruption they consumed], so were they [their minds] filled; they were filled, and their heart was [the corrupt ideas and words of men were] exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
7 Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:
8 I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.
9 O Israel, you have destroyed yourself; but in me is your help.
10 I will be your king: where is any other that may save you in all your cities? and your judges of whom you saidst, Give me a king and princes?
11 I gave you a king in my anger, and took him away in my wrath.
12 The iniquity of Ephraim [God’s people in this generation] is bound up [tsarar – is the enemies {misleaders} he is bound to]; his sin is hid [tsaphan – his offense is hiding these treasures].
13 The sorrows of a travailing woman [to bring forth the king and these treasures] shall [has] come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave [sh’owl, Sheol]; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be your plagues; O grave [Sheol – hell], I will be your destruction: repentance shall be hid from my eyes [nocham cathar ‘ayin – this comfort, restoring things and matter concealed shall come as this fountain of living waters].

Why is it that God’s people refuse this correction, not believing they need to be changed: purged away from the corruption taught to them all? Are they better (holier) than the LORD himself?

Matthew 3
10 And now also the axe [as in the hand of Gideon] is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water [this dew] unto repentance. but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire [from His mouth: our mouths]:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his [threshing] floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire [from His mouth].
13 Then comes Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh] from Galilee [from His inner circle] to Jordan [against the waters that carried all the world in its descent into death and hell] unto John [the dove, the sign of the end reached], to be baptized of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of you [with the Holy Ghost and fire, Your words that must be repeated], and come you to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized [clearing My ONE BODY of the corruption: the waters of Jordan, chaff taught by chaff], went up straightway [rising to life in us] out of the water [of Jordan, into which all have gone and out which all must rise]: and, lo [after the cleansing of corruption], the heavens were opened [full understanding was given] unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove [realizing, seeing, this is the sign of the end, like Jonah, coming from the belly of the earth, the belly of hell: sheol], and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice [of the Father] from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Isaiah 28
5 In that day shall the LORD [Jehovah] of hosts [manifested in His man of war] be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem [tsphiyrah – a crowning as the mourning] of beauty, unto the residue [sh’ar – the elect remnant spoken of in Isaiah 10] of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine [shmuw’ah – hearing the voice of Jehovah – the rumor of Ezekiel 7:26]? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts [who now draw from the Ancient of days].
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak [truth they don’t understand] to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest [mnuwchah – resting place, in heaven, in the LORD’s presence, in full understanding] wherewith you may cause the weary to rest [nuwach – noah, the rest at the end reached]; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear [shama’ – obey].
13 But the word of the LORD [Jehovah] was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD [Jehovah], you scornful men [mockers and blasphemers vilifying this word and work of God: in and through the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost the world doesn’t know], that [without justice] rule this people which is in [New Heavenly] Jerusalem.
15 Because you have [ignorantly] said, We have made [karath – are cut off by] a covenant with death [maveth], and with hell [sheol – the habitation of the dead] are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus says the LORD GOD [‘Adonay Jehovih – KING of kings and LORD of lords], Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death [maveth] shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell [sheol] shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report [shmuw’ah – the sound doctrine, teaching, and the rumor of Ezekiel 7:26, which is the voice of Jehovah heard].
20 For the bed is shorter than that a [sleeping] man can stretch himself on it: and the covering [the lies and falsehoods under which they hide is] narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 For the LORD [Jehovah] shall rise up as in mount Perazim [2 Samuel 5:20 – as water from His throne, breaking forth upon His and David’s enemies], he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon [Joshua 10:10 & 11 – His word reserved {frozen} in heaven, sent as great hailstones upon the wicked: the current corrupt crop sitting in power], that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange [known to no one except Him] act.
22 Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the LORD GOD [‘Adonay Jehovih – KING of kings and LORD of lords] of hosts [a man of war and Commander, Chief, of the armies of heaven] a consumption [kalah – a full end, as in Daniel 9:27], even determined [charats – decreed, as in Joshua 10:21 saying “And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua {Jesus} at Makkedah {as one flock under one shepherd} in peace: none moved {charats} his tongue against any of the children of Israel.” And 2 Samiel 5:24, the LORD there saying to David, “And let it be, when you hear {shama’ – obey} the sound {qowl – the voice} of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees {baka’, from which comes bkowr – telling us this is the voice of the “firstborn”}, that then you shall bestir {charats} yourself: for then shall the LORD go out before {paniym – His presence will be manifested with, in} you, to smite the host of the Philistines {the enemy army now mixed among you}.”] upon the whole earth.
23 Give you ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

And, obliviously condemning themselves in their displayed ignorance and lacking the humility to listen, the accusers answer:

Job 11
2 Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
3 Should your lies make men hold their peace? and when you mock [those blatantly ignorant of God’s work, in His word], shall no man [by their false interpretations, of which they are unmindful] make you ashamed?
4 For you have said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in your eyes.
5 But oh that God would speak [as He does, unknown as the Holy Ghost, to the ignorant], and open his lips against you [as He has without your knowledge];
6 And that he would show you the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacts of you less than your iniquity deserves.
7 Can you by searching find out God? can you [by diligent search] find out the Almighty unto perfection?
8 It [finding Him] is as high as heaven; what can you do? deeper than hell; what can you know?
9 The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
10 If he cut off [chalaph – Passover to change: to open the eyes of the those blinded by their own corrupted thoughts], and shut up [all understanding, reserving it for Himself to reveal to whom He wills], or gather together [gahal – assembles all to hear Him speak], then who can hinder him?
11 For he knows vain [the worthless words of] men: he sees [ra’ah – He comes as a shepherd and stone against] wickedness also; will he [the wicked] not then consider [biyn – understand] it [is Him]?
12 For vain men would be [think themselves] wise, though man be born like a wild ass’s colt [in the wilderness of their own ignorance wandering without knowledge that comes only from God].
13 If you prepare your heart [by removing the corruption blinding your minds], and stretch out your hands toward him [readying yourself to do His work];
14 If iniquity be in your hand [be found in your work], put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in your tabernacles [the true tabernacle is your mind where the LORD works to dwell – therefore leave the corruption behinds, so you see and join the LORD to save the ignorant who remain blind].
15 For then shall you lift up your face without spot; yea, you shall be steadfast, and shall not fear:
16 Because you shall forget your misery, and remember it as waters that pass away [‘abar – your own words passed over, overcome, bringing you from death into light: understanding which is life]:
17 And your age [this generation] shall be clearer than the noonday [freed from corruption when this understanding, the light of the LORD, is fully risen in you]: you shall shine forth, you shall be as the morning [the beginning of this new day, new world age].
18 And you shall be secure, because there is hope; yea, you shall dig about you, and you shall take your rest in safety.
19 Also you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto you.
20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost [rejecting His Spirit, they are left in the darkness and hell of their own minds’ choosing].

The word “age,” above in verse 17, is the five times used Hebrew word cheled, “from an unused root apparently meaning to glide swiftly; life (as a fleeting portion of time); hence, the world (as transient):–age, short time, world.” All four of its other uses come in the Psalms.

Psalms 17
1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that go not out of feigned lips.
2 Let my sentence come forth from your presence; let your eyes behold the things that are equal [and just].
3 You have proved [bachan – in this trial in the fires] my heart; you have visited [paqad – as the Chief Overseer of the earth] me in the night [this time when it’s covered in total ignorance of You]; you have tried me, and shall find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress [only speaking those things You’ve put in my mouth].
4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of your lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
5 Hold up my goings in your paths, that my footsteps slip not.
6 I have called upon you, for you will hear me, O God: incline your ear unto me, and hear my speech.
7 Show your marvelous [eye opening] lovingkindness, O you that saves by your right hand [showing Your power to change men’s minds] them which put their trust in you from those that rise up [with words and violence] against them.
8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of your wings,
9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
10 They are enclosed in their own fat [prospering by abusing the seats of power]: with their mouth they speak proudly [against all that is good and right].
11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth [all their thoughts are to bring this world, this generation, down, misleading it into deeper hell and destruction];
12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which [deliverance] is [the work of] your sword [this word from Your mouth]:
14 From men which are your hand [through rising in them, You work Your Salvation], O LORD, from men of the world [cheled – this corrupt and ending age], which have their portion in this life, and whose belly you fill with your hid treasure [tsaphan – which they refuse]: they are full of children [ben – but out of them, from MY threshing, is born a new generation], and [the wicked] leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
15 As for me, I will behold your face [presence] in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness.
