Fake News and False Prophets, Unable to Hear or Speak Truth (because to them it’s a foreign language)

Continuing: do you think the false teachers, the false prophets in the churches, or the fake news creators and reporters, hear any of what is being said here? Only those having ears that actually hear, and eyes willing to see, see and hear the word of God being preached. The truth, to these others, the spiritually wicked sitting in all their self-elevated seats of power, the power of error now at work in the children of disobedience, is a language they dare not hear or speak, for fear of upsetting their fellow demons. These are too busy to be interrupted, hard at work burying the dead, and what have they to do with truth.
 
Jeremiah 33 speaks of God’s people, His leaders (Judah) going to fight against the Chaldeans, who we know are in pattern the manipulators, using words meant for this intention, and who have caused the people to fall by the wicked work of their hand. It speaks of God’s people failing in this fight, because of their having left following the ways of the LORD. The LORD then tells of his curing and healing them, by [re]revealing to them the ways of peace and truth (the product opposite that of the wicked).
 
Jeremiah 33
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
2 Thus said the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
3 Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.
4 For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
10 Thus says the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which you say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endures for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, says the LORD.
12 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that tells them, says the LORD.
14 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
17 For thus says the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
20 Thus says the LORD; If you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
23 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
24 Consider you not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD has chosen, he has even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
25 Thus says the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
I scan the religious channels and the news channels, and I see the same old dead men burying the dead, reporting what they think will move the masses toward their ideas. These are the thieves and robbers of our time preaching words meant to scratch the ears of those who tune in for that specific reason, and they do it to raise themselves in power, and to get people to buy what they are selling. The worst of these, again, the worst of these are those manipulating and robbing their victims in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ. These are the most prominent demons among men, with reprobate minds ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. These are they who by this means creep into houses and lead captive the simple minded.
 
2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10 But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the LORD delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 But continue you in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them;
15 And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
 
2 Timothy 4
1 I charge you therefore before God, and the LORD Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch you in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry.
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the LORD, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
 
These same men are those who hate the LORD’s appearing, because he comes preaching the ways of peace and truth, and they thrive on troubles, preying on those in this confused and weakened state, and do so with deception (untruth). They have chosen their own end.
 
Isaiah 58
1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and you see not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and you take no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and exact all your labors.
4 Behold, you fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: you shall not fast as you do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house? when you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you hide not yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your reward.
9 Then shall you call, and the LORD shall answer; you shall cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If you take away from the midst of you the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall your light rise in obscurity, and your darkness be as the noon day:
11 And the LORD shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
12 And they that shall be of you shall build the old waste places: you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
13 If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shall honor him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:
14 Then shall you delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
 
The Hebrew word translated “Sabbath” is shabbath, meaning an intermission, and is from the word shabath, meaning to desist. The latter is also translated as “put down” in 2 King 23:5 in telling of Hilkiah be given the command to bring all the corruption out of the house of God, and to “put down” all the idolatrous priest. The word is also many times translated “rest.” In all these we see its intended meaning being the LORD being the one who interrupts us, to correct us out of corruption, because these are what separates us from His peace and truth, and in doing He cures and heals us into His rest. (So, don’t take it personal.)
 
2 Kings 23
1 And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.
2 And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.
3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
4 And the king commanded Hilkiah [separated to and chosen by Jehovah] the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron [watered by darkness], and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
6 And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron [flowing darkness], and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.
7 And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
8 And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man’s left hand at the gate of the city.
9 Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened bread among their brethren.
10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech [these as the powers of the air (prevailing spirit of the time – zeitgeist), which was at work in the children of disobedience].
11 And he took away [shabath] the horses [the power they road upon] that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
 
Psalms 137
1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
4 How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a strange land?
5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
6 If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Raze it, raze it, even to the foundation thereof.
8 O daughter of Babylon [confusion], who are to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewards you as you have served us.
9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dashes your little ones against the stones.

The Fall of the Enemies of Truth

Continuing: today again battling back the false teaching of the church eschatologists, the false prophets who in their error blind the church to the condition of the moment, and keep it from fully comprehending the atmosphere that has by this same power taken control of the world.
 
We have in the past, many times, discussed the words used in Genesis 1:2 and appearing only two other times in the word of God, all describing the condition of the world when, as in its current condition, it has “become without form, and void.” We’ve seen and discussed the other time the words are translated exactly the same, in Jeremiah 4:23, where it is used to describe God’s people’s condition, after having been led away from Him and His truth, into foolishness and without understanding. We’ve seen these words used in Isaiah 34:11 to speak to the entire world, and of the things that come forth from it, and it having become the dwelling place that was measured out by a line of “confusion,” and build with stones of “emptiness.” We know the same words translates in the other two places as “without form, and void,” are here translated “confusion” and “emptiness,” in describing the “palaces,” speaking of all the places which rule over the world.
 
This brings us to our recent discussion and again telling of the LORD coming in the “air” meaning His coming and snatching us (even if we are unwilling to brought their) into a new condition, where in dwells right judgment and life. It in an environment where we have been awakened from the power of deception, and brought into the new, wherein abides righteousness, and once made aware of the methods used to take us into darkness, never to return to its resulting state of death (stupefied minds), and there shall we even be with the LORD.
 
When bringing this truth to the light, all those who have been taught the false doctrine of the false prophets, come out to fight against this truth, and in doing testify against themselves and their teachers. This is the battle we engage in, as we show them self-sacrificial love, withstanding and fighting through their attacks, to free them from the power of the devil (subtle deception), which causes them to even deny this is the LORD, in us and through us, coming for the salvation of the world.
 
We know the atmosphere is changed and all are changed with it, but yet none are forced to come to its light, and there are many who choose to stay in the darkness, choosing their errors instead of receiving the love of the truth, and again, by their choice become witnesses against themselves.
 
As pointed out in response to one such assault against this truth, coming as a comment to a previous post, I wrote the following: “To those arguing the word “air” doesn’t mean atmosphere, as we have learned through our studies and then again mentioned in this post: the Greek word is aer, and is only used 7 times in the word of God. It means the unseen atmosphere we unconsciously take in and respire. In 1 Thessalonians 4:17 it is speaking of waking from a sleep like state and into a new atmosphere – now taking in the life of the LORD and breathing that out to the world – as an unconscious action. The best example is when the word is used in Ephesians 2:2 where it is used describing the power of the “air,” the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience, and describes the new spirit that is in us (as the new air).”
 
Ephesians 2
1 And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)
6 And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
 
Now, this change of atmosphere is what Paul speaks of when he, in 1 Corinthians 15, first in verse 34, calls on us to awaken to righteousness, then tells of us being sown into this corrupted world, and ends telling of all being changed. He plainly speaks of this being our rising in victory over death, and having put on incorruption put on new life and immortality. He tells of this change being a “mystery” and as something that comes upon all, in a twinkling of the eye, as we are raised incorruptible.
 
The Greek word here translated “twinkling” is rhipe, a one-time used derivative of the seven times used word rhipto, meaning to cast something away. It is used twice, in Acts 27:19 & 29, to tell of things cast out of the ship, in an attempt to save it from the storm. The ship represents the corrupted institution that have created and maintain the current condition of ignorance and its resulting agitation, which are not going to make it through this storm. The engineered nuance here is seen when we recall our understanding of the LORD’s words about good judgment, coming when those judging first cast the beam out of their own eye, so they can see clearly to pull the spec out of their brother’s eye. This in context speaks of casting away the corruption that has clouded our judgment. This condition is what is spoken of above in Ephesians 2, it is in the air this current culture breathes (zeitgeist), and it is into this atmosphere the LORD comes, snatching us into His new world, awakening us, and there shall we ever remain with the LORD.
 
1 Thessalonians 4
1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the LORD Jesus, that as you have received of us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more.
2 For you know what commandments we gave you by the LORD Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor [separated from the corrupted world];
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence [craving the things which are out of bounds and corrupt good judgment], even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the LORD is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
7 For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
8 He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given unto us his holy Spirit.
9 But as touching brotherly love you need not that I write unto you: for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10 And indeed you do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that you increase more and more;
11 And that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands [instead of defrauding your brother – reaching into his things, which are out of bounds for you], as we commanded you;
12 That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that you may have lack of nothing.
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, Concerning Them Which Are Asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep [shall not be raised until they are awakened].
16 For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together [all together] with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
 
When Genesis 1 speaks of the waters being divided, by the firmament, which we are told is heaven, where are the waters that are above the earth? In the form of clouds, they wait to be showed on the earth in need, in the latter rain. These are the water that bring life to the earth, springing forth from a dry ground as water and light cause the seed to awaken.
 
1 Corinthians 15
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 You fool, that which you sow is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which you sow, you sow not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the LORD from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the LORD.
 
The latter rain is spoken of in Hosea 6:3, the chapter then going on to describe it as the judgment of LORD, as the light that goes forth, and His word hewing down what has grown in these latter days. He speaks of the whoredom (unfaithfulness and idolatry) of Ephraim and of all the house of Israel being defiled. We know this as speaking to the posterity, the latter generation of the people under God’s promise.
 
Hosea 6
1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he has torn, and he will heal us; he has smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto you? O Judah, what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away [clouds without rain, dew that disappears in the light, both nourishing not].
5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and your judgments are as the light that goes forth.
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the Knowledge Of GOD More than burnt offerings.
7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8 Gilead [the city in ruin, which ruin testifies against itself] is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.
9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
11 Also, O Judah [the leaders], he has set a harvest for you, when I returned the captivity of my people.
 
Hosea 7
1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief comes in, and the troop of robbers spoils without.
2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.
3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceases from raising after he has kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.
5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleeps all the night; in the morning it burns as a flaming fire.
7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calls unto me.
8 Ephraim, he has mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knows it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knows not.
10 And the pride of Israel testifies to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
 
This the context in which James addresses those who have become rich by defrauding their neighbors, and this being a witness against them. They have chosen their end, and self-destruction the way they’ve chosen for themselves.
 
James 5
1 Go to now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. You have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, cries: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the LORD of Sabaoth [LORD of the armies of heaven].
5 You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; you have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6 You have condemned and killed the just; and he does not resist you.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the LORD. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be you also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the LORD draws nigh.
9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest you be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.
10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the LORD, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the LORD; that the LORD is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest you fall into condemnation.
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the LORD:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20 Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
 
Psalms 124
1 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Waking From the Long Dark Night – of False Teaching and Fake News

Continuing: today another, deeper, examination of the meaning conveyed by Peter in 2 Peter 3. As we know from previous discussions, Peter in the entire book is warning against the degenerative effects of the heresies perpetrated upon the church and all humanity, by false (erroneous – error filled) teaching. These were brought in by men who were first led away by their own cravings for self-elevation, and choosing their own ways, instead of waiting for the LORD to move, moved themselves. We know this strayed thinking continued until it has now become the foundation principles upon which the entire world relies when making all its decisions; the world meaning, the culture, encompassing the individual, and through all its inhabitants.
 
We know these corrupted principles, which place no value on truth: according to, in agreement with, the law of nature and nature’s God, as the “elements” (stoechieon) Peter tells of melting away in the fires burning up heaven and earth. We know from his later telling of the new heaven and the new earth we look for, wherein dwells righteousness, that what is lacking in this time on fire is righteousness: truth which brings with it right reasoning and equity ending in good judgment. Peter tells us the fires are both caused by these elements and are also what causes them to melt away, as we see occurring before our eyes, manifested in the negative effects on the old heaven and earth they’ve corrupted, causing it to become without form, and void.
We know the world that ends is actually the culture that depends on lies and deception, producing (with intention) only confusion of thought, resulting in hopelessness, and then, in this state of meaningless desperation, chaos. (Hopelessness is a result of the mind having reached a state where it thinks itself incapable of reasoning its way through and out of. In a world that relies on untruth, requiring and then forcing the mind to accept the demanded contradictions of reality, there can be no peace in mind as long as the solution is always said to be to go deeper into contradiction.) It is into this darkness the LORD comes with His enlightening us to realize the condition, leading us out of it and into His light, and into the peace that accompanies it as result.
 
This takes us to what has become seemingly a trivial statement by Peter, which is then followed by the entire and greatest point of his and all Christian teaching – the gospel – the Good News found in the name of Jesus Christ, this latter part having also become (in our modern culture) a meaningless cliché. The Good News is found in the name literally meaning Jehovah’s Salvation, shining forth from one He appoints (anoints) to preach it to the world become hopeless, without form, and void.
 
Peter tells of one day being as a thousand years with the LORD, and then the greatest of all news, “The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
 
The promise mentioned here is the promise told to Moses and he then telling it, to be sure it was carried forward for us to know when we heard it in this time of need. It appears in Deuteronomy 18 as Moses tells of it being told by the LORD, and it appears later repeated twice, in Acts 3:22 & 7:37. It is the promise of the LORD sending one we would hear. This is also who the LORD speaks of in John 16:13 where he is telling of the coming Paraclete, the Holy Spirit come first to us and then in us, as the Spirit of truth, and telling us the truth according to, that is in agreement with, the law God and man (the law defining man’s relationship with God, and his human interaction, which lead to peace and abundant life).
 
Peter mentions the promise because it specifically speaks of this as the means of ending the troubles caused by the false prophets (misleaders) among us. It also speaks of the better ideas of the unique culture of the people of God, and warns against lusting after the corrupted ways of other cultures, and does so because of the destruction they always produce (as we see before our eyes each and every day).
 
Deuteronomy 18
9 When you are come into the land which the LORD your God give you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
10 There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire [the trouble created by seeking and following bad advice], or that uses divination [“experts” claiming to know the future], or an observer of times [cultural relativism], or an enchanter, or a witch.
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer [consulting the dead in mind, and all those using words (deceptive and dark knowledge) to manipulate people into doing their will, and following their beguiling – fake news media and their guile].
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you.
13 You shall be perfect with the LORD your God.
14 For these nations, which you shall possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for you, the LORD your God has not suffered you so to do.
15 The LORD your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken;
16 According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
17 And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.
 
We know Hebrew 12 tells of this same time, and of correction that come to us in the form of one who will speak the word of God to us, and this being what shakes the world, and more specifically to shake these corrupted ideas out of it.
 
Hebrews 12
11 Now no chastening [discipline and correction] for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the PEACEABLE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the LORD:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For you know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
18 For you are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated [demanded] that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.
25 See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
 
Friends, the false prophets among us in church and culture, the fake reports coming over our airways and from our pulpits are those that never come to pass, and which we now see in the fake news media and the doomsday preaching of religious eschatologists, never arriving and always “coming” sometime out in the future. These are heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them; those creating them not knowing his voice and therefor never hearing His warnings and calls to repentance, they with blinded eyes and closed ears, choose to remain in their error and with them choose self-destruction as their folly is manifested before the eyes of a now awakening world.
 
2 Peter 3
1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the LORD and Savior:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise [the joyful noise calling all to the battle against darkness], and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our LORD is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness [never retreat from truth].
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
 
When Peter tells of the LORD’s will being that all would come to repentance and none be destroyed, following his telling of a thousand years being as day in describing the longsuffering of the LORD in correcting us, he is quoting from Psalms 90:4. There we read in verse 3 of man going on his own into destruction, and the LORD saying, “Return, you children of men.” It then tells of the thousand years as a watch in the night, once it has past (and man has returned to his senses – awakened from the night).
 
In 1 Corinthians 15:34 (below) we are told of our rising after this long night (season of corruption and darkness of minds), and in context, our awakening being as dying to this old corrupted way, and coming to this new life after having put on incorruption. It is our resurrection from the dead, dying to corruption’s thoughts, which themselves brought the death of all humanity, and in doing humanity puts on immortality – never to return to this same death – now understanding and rejecting its methods of misleading.
 
1 Corinthians 15
31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our LORD, I die daily.
32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus [men having attacked him because he preached this new life], what advantages it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die [if the dead can’t be brought back to life in this way, then their hopelessness is justified – which isn’t the case].
33 Be not deceived: evil communications [fake news – false teaching – false prophesies] corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 You fool, that which you sow is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which you sow, you sow not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law [the law that says if you sin (err) you shall surly die].
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ [the way of escaping the sentence on all humanity].
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you steadfast, immoveable [never retreating], always abounding in the work of the LORD, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the LORD.
 
Psalms 90
1 LORD, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
3 You turn man to destruction; and say, Return, you children of men.
4 For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5 You carry them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which grows up.
6 In the morning it flourishes, and grows up; in the evening it is cut down, and withers.
7 For we are consumed by your anger, and by your wrath are we troubled.
8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your countenance.
9 For all our days are passed away in your wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11 Who knows the power of your anger? even according to your fear, so is your wrath.
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
13 Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent you concerning your servants.
14 O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad according to the days wherein you have afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
16 Let your work appear unto your servants, and your glory unto their children.
17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish you the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish you it.
 
Hebrews 4
11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

David and Goliath, the Mystery of Keeping Your Head

Today a look at the common term we hear repeated often, which says “the battle is the LORD’s,” and with it Paul’s describing the LORD descending from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead rising first, then we the living, all of us joined together as one, meeting Him in the “air,” where we shall never again stray into death’s sleep.
 
The first part of the above description is a quote originating in 1 Samuel 17:47, and is part of David’s response to Goliath’s question asking: “Am I a dog, that you come to me with staves?”
 
The short answer could have been, “yes,” but David, filled with the Spirit of the LORD, instead says: “You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day will the LORD deliver you into mine hand; and I will smite you, and take your head from you; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands.”
 
This is meant to be understood in our time and in the current environment (atmosphere or “air”) where our enemies incite their followers to use actual violence against us, then as it is acted out, fulfilling their desired end, they claim their words have no connection to the violence.
 
The point which is missed, and which adds full understanding to this discussion, is that these same people are the ones who have ridiculed, attacked and vilified all the ideas once taught here in our nation as normal and foundational. These ideas, which they have rejected and led people away from, are those producing the self-control needed when engaging in healthy discourse, which set the bounds of the content as truth, and discouraged prideful conceit which disables the ability to accept truth when it contradicts self-held errors.
 
Having remove this knowledge, and without its resulting wisdom, what follows in the never-ending argument where errors (false accusation and deceptive insinuation) are constantly reintroduced, even when proven false (such as continually saying, Trump is under investigation, or the Russians altered the election), and those unable to accept this reality, are plunged into confusion and chaos in mind. This mass-confusion coupled the inability to force others to surrender their truthful positions, casts these unhinged minds into absolute rage and the panic that suspends all reason, some acting it out in physical violence, with the object being, by this different means, to again force surrender to their lesser erroneous ideas and into confusion with them.
 
This is the frustration on the side of those who do believe in truth in discourse, who continually argue against the lies, even after they have been proven untrue and accepted as such by those with more rational minds. The flaw is in our thinking truth will ever be accepted or acknowledged by those who as their foundational principle totally depend on lies and deception, themselves never surrendering their positions of known error, and willingly defend them with known false accusation and deceptive insinuation against truth.
 
In this light, the only way to victory is with total disregard for the argument (the darkness they hide in), labeling them as such (lies and deceptive insinuation), and if anything, demanding they define the goal they seek to achieve by telling their lies (this itself provoking even greater lies and more deception). We should NOT be attributing any value to these worthless arguments, void of truth. We should instead be moving forward toward our better and higher ideas and the abundant life they and their reality bring.
 
The true believers among us, those having learned and become founded on the better ideas and their resulting self-control, (should) never fall into the enemy’s abyss, instead remaining founded upon our sound mind and rational thinking. We stand as David, with the same words and confidence, knowing that no weapon of the enemy, no matter how superior they may appear, are able to stand against the LORD of the armies of heaven. (I have a secret for you. You may have heard it, and it is the way to win any fight – Keep your head! and do as you have been trained. In doing this you will, as I have many times, see the LORD fight for you and in/through you, in ways – only understood as – SUPER natural.)
 
1 Samuel 17
48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.
52 And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until you come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron [eradication]. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim [opening the gates], even unto Gath [the winepress of wrath], and unto Ekron [the eradication of the enemies sown among us].
53 And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.
54 And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armor in his tent.
 
Verse 52 above speaks in parallel with what is written in 1 Thessalonians 4, and are the shout, that as a trumpet, call all God’s people to the battle.
 
1 Thessalonians 4 begins with exhorting us to keep ourselves from “fornication,” as it was defined in brackets in the prior post: not leaving the LORD to be with the wicked in their ways.
 
The Greek word here translated “fornication” is porneia, meaning harlotry or idolatry. It is the great mystery among people who say they are God’s, they, leaving being faithful to Him, selling their souls for the things the world sells them (markets to them as valuable). This is what is then defined in 1 Thessalonians 4:5 as the “lust of concupiscence,” rendered from the Greek words, epithumia, longing for what is out of bounds, and the word pathos, meaning suffering or passion – as in craving. It is speaking of craving the ways of the world (confused minds) and in doing so leaving God for them, and to our own destruction.
 
Behold, I show you a mystery, this is the command Paul speaks of in verse 11, that when abided by keeps us from falling into confusion’s sleep, the same command the LORD shouts in awakening us at His coming. This is the command I now give unto you in His stead (sent, in His name and with His authority, on this mission), sounding the trump, calling all to the battle, in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ.

Revelation 18
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great [confusion] is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her [confusion’s sleep], my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

Revelation 19

16 And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And LORD Of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Moving Forward Into Victory – the Call to the Battle is a Joyful Noise

Continuing: In preceding posts, we’ve discussed the ways of the wicked and specifically their using false accusation and unfounded insinuation with the intention to cause those they attack to surrender or retreat from positions of truth and correct judgment. We have come to understand this as their craft, subtle deception intended to move the masses against the enemies of these wicked men who, as those defined as sorcerers of old using dark knowledge, use deception to incite and move the ignorant into acting out their evil will (sociopathic – total disregard for the degenerative effect it has on the society at large).
 
We’ve come to understand this as what destroys the peace of societies, and creates the necessary chaos and confusion which allows the wicked ones to seemingly disappear the righteous, as if lights in the night sky, removed from their place of prominence and replaced with those with their same darkened and degenerate mind.
 
We’ve seen the LORD coming into this time of our need, as a marvelous light into this man caused darkness, and with His coming brings instruction and correction, illuminating the deviations from good judgment and showing us the way back into Eden.
 
In the prior post, we looked at this in the context of Hebrews 4, and it speaking of the day we will enter into rest. Over the last several posts, we’ve come to understand the way this is accomplished is to first learn the ways of right judgment, and then to not only stand in them, but to move forward, never retreating, and in doing push through the darkness into light of the new day and life renewed.
 
Friends, this word I speak to you is the LORD’s voice calling to man, those who will receive it, to be quickened in this judgment.
 
Hebrews 4 begins telling of the example of Israel in the wilderness, not seeing these godless men as mere minor impediment, and yet hearing the voice of the LORD’s promise, unwilling to believe it and thereby willingly stopping, surrendering to what they could have very easily overcome by moving forward. This is where we as a nation and a people of God today stand, stilled by fear, listening to the false and demoralizing reports of those who see things through eyes manipulated by these same sorcerers.
 
When Hebrews 4 speaks of God’s resting from His work it quotes from Genesis 2:2, the chapter wherein is created the generations of man upon the earth. Prior there was no man alive, all having returned to the dust of an earth having become without form, and void. This then goes on to tell of man being created as God breathes life into him, and put him in Eden to dress it and to keep it. This is telling of the perfection and man being given the charge over it, to maintain it in the form it was delivered to him.
 
This is the context from which Hebrews 4 speaks, and tells of our working to dress and keep what the LORD has made, and in doing we will enter into our rest, once this work is done on earth as it is in heaven (where God rest).
 
Hebrews 4
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
 
Verse 7 above is a quote from Psalms 95, which begins with a call to make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation. This is the same Rock we are told of in 1 Corinthians 10, that was with Israel in the wilderness, and from which flowed the waters of life, and that Rock is Christ, in me, in us.

1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that you should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be you idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Psalms 95
1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if you will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

We know from our studies Jeremiah 4 tells of the earth becoming without form, and void, and this coming as a product of God’s people leaving him and becoming foolish. We know it tells of this using the same words as are used in describing the Genesis creation. We know in Jeremiah 4 the world in this state of foolishness is also then described, as in Genesis, as there being no man (living).
 
Jeremiah 4
1 If you will return, O Israel, says the LORD, return unto me: and if you will put away your abominations out of my sight, then shall you not remove.
2 And you shall swear, The LORD lives, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.
3 For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.
4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
5 Declare you in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow you the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defensed cities.
6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

The joyful noise spoken of in Psalms 95:1 is the same song heard in Isaiah 26:19 as the dead rise from the dust, the same dust man is created from in Genesis 2:7. The noise is the noise of the living, recognizing the time and the war being waged against us, as it is written in Jeremiah 4:19. Isaiah 26:19 speaks the meaning found in the name Jeremiah: the LORD rising and with His rising we rise and live. “19 Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, you that dwell in dust: for your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.”
 
Isaiah 26
1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2 Open you the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.
3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.
4 Trust you in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD Jehovah is everlasting strength:
5 For he brings down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he lays it low; he lays it low, even to the ground; he brings it even to the dust.
6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
7 The way of the just is uprightness: you, most upright, does weigh the path of the just.
8 Yea, in the way of your judgments, O LORD, have we waited for you; the desire of our soul is to your name, and to the remembrance of you.
9 With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
10 Let favor be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

20 Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over-past.
21 For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

The Mystery of Victory, NEVER RETREAT (from Fake News and those spewing it)

Continuing with the LORD giving us understanding, of and into our season of pushing through the traps laid by the craft of the enemy. In the prior post, we saw their craft as their subtle accusations and insinuation that cloak and convey their lies and deception as means to manipulate the massed to do their evil and attack their targeted victims. We saw this evil act in scripture defined and illuminated through the Greek word dolos, and the perpetrators of this evil, in like manner as the Magi and sorcerers of old, use this method to make the stars (people) appear and disappear from public prominence.
 
We saw the LORD’s strategically positioning the one time used word diikneomai, telling us of when we push through in this time (as is its meaning), in Hebrews 4:12 as it tells of this as our season of entering into the rest He has prepared for those who receive Him. There we see it is by the word of God we “pierce” through into this rest. The pronouncement is then followed in Hebrews 5 telling of the LORD as our High Priest who feeds us, first with milk, and when we are come of full age, with meat. It tells of His doing this, in the order of Melchisedec, over several (human) life times, first in suffering, and by this came His perfecting, first as the Author and then as the Finisher of our faith.
 
Hebrews 5 ends telling of this, the LORD showing the example of entering into rest, was done so we would, in this season of meat, be exercised by it, being able to discern both good and evil. This is what we are formerly told in Hebrews 4:12 comes by the word of God.
 
Hebrews 4
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
 
This “time of need” is what is alluded to in telling of Melchisedec, and the LORD manifesting Himself into our need, as chapter 5 ends tilling of the point, our being able to discern good and evil – by the word of God. (If we think back to the Genesis creation and the subtle misleading of Eve, and the serpent saying man (without God) would be able to discern good and evil. This is the devil applying His craft and the underlying lie is that man doesn’t need God.)
 
Hebrews 5
4 And no man taketh this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, You are my Son, to day have I begotten you.
6 As he says also in another place, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belong to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
 
The idea of “meat” being what bring perfection, and perfection being total reliance on the LORD, which lead us into rest, are what is spoken of in Job 38:41. There it comes after we are told of the LORD setting the bounds of the proud waves of men’s pride, and of Him being the one who brings out the stars in His season, meaning He puts down the proud who have agitated the world, and bring whoever He chooses into prominence, at His will. This occur by the meat found in His word, and given to the young as they cry out to Him.
 
Job 38
1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2 Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up now your loins like a man; for I will demand of you, and answer you me.
4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding.
5 Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling-band for it [protective wrapping],
10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
11 And said, Hereto shall you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves be stayed?
12 Have you commanded the morning since your days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
15 And from the wicked their light is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken.

17 Have the gates of death been opened unto you? or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?

35 Canst you send lightning, that they may go and say unto you, Here we are?
36 Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? or who has given understanding to the heart?

38 When the dust grow into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

41 Who provides for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
 
In this context Hebrew 6 begins telling of our, now knowing these basics, moving forward to enter into perfection, where He has allowed us to go, as the forerunner has shown us. This place is in the presence of God, always with us and in us, and our knowing this living our life relying on Him as our righteousness, showing His way.
 
Hebrews 6
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes oft upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God:
8 But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shewed toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entered into that within the veil;
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
This takes us to Hebrews 10, our being told of this moving forward into perfection, and it speaking of our never retreating. The Greek word used there in verses 38, translated “draw back,” is hupostello. It is speaking of not keeping concealed what the LORD caused to appear.
 
Here is its definition from the Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary: Strong’s #5288: hupostello (pronounced hoop-os-tel’-lo) from 5259 and 4724; to withhold under (out of sight), i.e. (reflexively) to cower or shrink, (figuratively) to conceal (reserve):–draw (keep) back, shun, withdraw.
Hebrews 10:38 is a quote from Habakkuk 2:4 and speaks of those who have raised themselves to prominence by their evil ways, the violence of their accusation, the words meant to enrage those they intoxicate. It is also speaking of our not retreating from these their devices and living in the faith in God and His delivering us, as the earth is filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the LORD, in us and with us, as the waters cover the sea (His word covers the people).
 
Hebrews 10
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, says the LORD. And again, The LORD shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 Partly, whilst you were made a gazing-stock [set forward for public vilification, to be destroyed and disappeared], both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst you became companions of them that were so used.
34 For you had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward.
36 For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back [hupostello], my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back [hupostole] unto perdition [destruction]; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
 
These verses tell us of how we allow ourselves to be destroyed, when we draw back from their false accusation and vilification. This is the craft they apply in hope of causing us to retreat and abandon our position. It is from this place the LORD calls on us to never retreat, but instead, through His counsel (word) to push through their attacks (ambush) and into victory.
 
Habakkuk 2
12 Woe to him that builds a town with blood, and stablishes a city by iniquity!
13 Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labor in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity [that which is worthless]?
14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
15 Woe unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, that puts your bottle to him, and makes him drunken also, that you may look on their nakedness!
16 You are filled with shame for glory: drink you also, and let your foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD’s right hand shall be turned unto you, and shameful spewing shall be on your glory.
17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover you, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
18 What profit the graven image that the maker thereof has graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusts therein, to make dumb idols?
19 Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
20 But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
 
Two of the four times the word hupostello is used are in Acts 20, verse 20 as “kept back,” and verse 27 as “shunned.” There it is used as Paul tells of his not retreating or concealing anything that was delivered to him, and they should know that after his death many wolves would enter in among them speaking perverted truth and draw away many to follow them. This is what He speaks of in 2 Thessalonians 2 when he warn against the wicked ones who would enter in and who were already at work [sitting in God’s seats of judgment, perverting truth and leading astray].
 
Acts 20
27 For I have not shunned [hupostello] to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
33 I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, you yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

Psalms 94
1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shew yourself.
2 Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 They break in pieces your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.

The LORD Mighty in Battle, His Word Never calling Retreat

 
This is a repost of the prior post – with a different cover image. The previous was an image of the Archangel Michael defeating the Devil. Facebook censored the post using the frivolous reason that the image was offensive and suggestive. This is quite ironic when the subject of the post is how the enemies of all that is good and normal (the children of the devil) use insinuation and false accusation to attack, with the intention to destroy, the same (all that is good and normal).
 
The post was titled: Words Meant to Ignite the Masses, Which Will Never Call Retreat
 
Continuing: today a look at the type of words used by those who corrupt the world, the LORD beginning our exploration as John 1 ends with the record of His first encounter with Nathaniel, one of the twelve. The passage begins with His seeing Nathaniel and immediately knowing him as a man without “guile.” Guile is translated from the Greek word dolos, and meaning a trick, as in bait used to catch.
 
Here is the word as it appears in the Strong’s Greek Dictionary: Strong’s #1388: dolos (pronounced dol’-os) from an obsolete primary verb, dello (probably meaning to decoy; compare 1185); a trick (bait), i.e. (figuratively) wile:–craft, deceit, guile, subtilty.
 
The idea of “guile” is what we have been discussing as the main tactic of the wicked, those bearing the mark of devil. In the prior post, when examining Jeremiah 32, the “Chaldeans” were further explained in brackets as being the Magi, who moved people with their words. The Magi, from where comes our words magic and magicians, are people from the east who were astrologers, knowing the movements of the stars and planets, and knowing these movements when others were ignorant, they were able to use them to trick people (seemingly able to make things in the sky appear and disappear).
 
This “magic” is in like manner to what is taking place before our eyes as the deceivers of this world, the news media with their fake information, use their craft of fake reporting, with the motive and intention (again: with motive and intention) to move people in ways they wish them to go.
 
Friends, they are manipulating the minds of the simple masses, and their goal is to destroy our nation and our culture. As is the way of the godless materialists, thinking man as merely matter to be manipulated, they interfere with and alter his programing, and incite and deploy him in mass as needed, to do their bidding for them, his (self-asserted) more intellectually advanced betters. They, in their reversed and twisted mind, think they are saving it (the world) from us, and more specifically from our “unique” culture, which defines and set boundaries according to the law of nature and nature’s God, which are in fact the best ideas ever delivered to and realized by man, and are what define human interaction in a way that allows for self-governing (self-control, macro and micro).
 
All the law hangs on this one aspect: how we treat our fellow man, in discourse and in action. Words spoken to others or about them, should either enlighten or communicate instruction, and demonstrate understanding of truth as word coincides with demonstrable reality. Guile is using words, with the intention and motive, that give no understanding nor do they communicate truth, instead they are crafted to insinuate what isn’t true without having to tell it in its pure form of the lie it alludes to. This is the “subtlety” in Acts 13:10 when Paul address those using such means to deceive (sorcerers), and there defines them as children of the devil (born of his spirit of deception, and one in mind).
 
Acts 13
8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
10 And said, O full of all subtilty [dolos] and all mischief, you child of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the LORD?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the LORD is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the LORD.
 
Friends, there are many now, in the news media and in the pulpit, who are preaching about words and telling of how we shouldn’t be using words that inflame the masses. This is itself a subtlety of their craft and meant to extinguish the righteous fire that speaks truth to their power of darkness. I tell you the truth. My words are meant to inflame, to reignite the fire in man, as it was intended: zeal for the righteousness, which comes as Truth is spoken and recognized.
 
The deceptive manipulation of the masses (dolos) is the “subtilty” we are told of in Matthew 26:4, and the “craft” in Mark 14:1, both used to take the LORD and publicly crucify Him. In our time, we see those who claim to have “progressive” ideas still using this same age old craft, truly the world’s oldest profession, and these are the ideas that have forever sought to use their manipulations and deception to destroy the peace of societies, and to kill those who dare preach truth to release those held in its power. These men, using these tactics, come in every generation, but now they rule the world, controlling all information and perpetrating the greatest deception to ever victimize humanity. Their panic is due to the contrast that now exposes their lie, and they knowing their time is short, with full force apply their craft upon the world, again, ignorantly believing more darkness can extinguish the light.
 
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels
 
Friends, Hebrews 4:12 uses a word that is only used once in the scriptures to describe the word of God as what “pierces” through this deception. It is the word diikneomai, literally meaning to reach trough, from dia, meaning through, and the word hikanos, meaning to arrive in season.
 
Now is the season for us to understand, awaken to righteousness, in doing display the signs of life, adding to our zeal this knowledge. This is the season we must press forward into, piercing the darkness and wickedness of our time, and in establishing truth to its rightful place comes the new heaven and new earth.

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Ephesians 4

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effective working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying [educating] of itself in love.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the LORD, that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That you put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be you angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.

Words Meant to Ignite the Masses, Which Will Never Call Retreat

Continuing: today a look at the type of words used by those who corrupt the world, the LORD beginning our exploration as John 1 ends with the record of His first encounter with Nathaniel, one of the twelve. The passage begins with His seeing Nathaniel and immediately knowing him as a man without “guile.” Guile is translated from the Greek word dolos, and meaning a trick, as in bait used to catch.
 
Here is the word as it appears in the Strong’s Greek Dictionary: Strong’s #1388: dolos (pronounced dol’-os) from an obsolete primary verb, dello (probably meaning to decoy; compare 1185); a trick (bait), i.e. (figuratively) wile:–craft, deceit, guile, subtilty.
 
The idea of “guile” is what we have been discussing as the main tactic of the wicked, those bearing the mark of devil. In the prior post, when examining Jeremiah 32, the “Chaldeans” were further explained in brackets as being the Magi, who moved people with their words. The Magi, from where comes our words magic and magicians, are people from the east who were astrologers, knowing the movements of the stars and planets, and knowing these movements when others were ignorant, they were able to use them to trick people (seemingly able to make things in the sky appear and disappear).
 
This “magic” is in like manner to what is taking place before our eyes as the deceivers of this world, the news media with their fake information, use their craft of fake reporting, with the motive and intention (again: with motive and intention) to move people in ways they wish them to go.
 
Friends, they are manipulating the minds of the simple masses, and their goal is to destroy our nation and our culture. As is the way of the godless materialists, thinking man as merely matter to be manipulated, they interfere with and alter his programing, and incite and deploy him in mass as needed, to do their bidding for them, his (self-asserted) more intellectually advanced betters. They, in their reversed and twisted mind, think they are saving it (the world) from us, and more specifically from our “unique” culture, which defines and set boundaries according to the law of nature and nature’s God, which are in fact the best ideas ever delivered to and realized by man, and are what define human interaction in a way that allows for self-governing (self-control, macro and micro).
 
All the law hangs on this one aspect: how we treat our fellow man, in discourse and in action. Words spoken to others or about them, should either enlighten or communicate instruction, and demonstrate understanding of truth as word coincides with demonstrable reality. Guile is using words, with the intention and motive, that give no understanding nor do they communicate truth, instead they are crafted to insinuate what isn’t true without having to tell it in its pure form of the lie it alludes to. This is the “subtlety” in Acts 13:10 when Paul address those using such means to deceive (sorcerers), and there defines them as children of the devil (born of his spirit of deception, and one in mind).
 
Acts 13
8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
10 And said, O full of all subtilty [dolos] and all mischief, you child of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the LORD?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the LORD is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the LORD.
 
Friends, there are many now, in the news media and in the pulpit, who are preaching about words and telling of how we shouldn’t be using words that inflame the masses. This is itself a subtlety of their craft and meant to extinguish the righteous fire that speaks truth to their power of darkness. I tell you the truth. My words are meant to inflame, to reignite the fire in man, as it was intended: zeal for the righteousness, which comes as Truth is spoken and recognized.
 
The deceptive manipulation of the masses (dolos) is the “subtilty” we are told of in Matthew 26:4, and the “craft” in Mark 14:1, both used to take the LORD and publicly crucify Him. In our time, we see those who claim to have “progressive” ideas still using this same age old craft, truly the world’s oldest profession, and these are the ideas that have forever sought to use their manipulations and deception to destroy the peace of societies, and to kill those who dare preach truth to release those held in its power. These men, using these tactics, come in every generation, but now they rule the world, controlling all information and perpetrating the greatest deception to ever victimize humanity. Their panic is due to the contrast that now exposes their lie, and they knowing their time is short, with full force apply their craft upon the world, again, ignorantly believing more darkness can extinguish the light.
 
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels
 
Friends, Hebrews 4:12 uses a word that is only used once in the scriptures to describe the word of God as what “pierces” through this deception. It is the word diikneomai, literally meaning to reach trough, from dia, meaning through, and the word hikanos, meaning to arrive in season.
 
Now is the season for us to understand, awaken to righteousness, in doing display the signs of life, adding to our zeal this knowledge. This is the season we must press forward into, piercing the darkness and wickedness of our time, and in establishing truth to its rightful place comes the new heaven and new earth.
 
Hebrews 4
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

The Progressive Jihadists’ Insane Jihad by Deceit, False Accusation, and Terrorist Atrocities

So, the Imams and Mullahs of all the different fake news media sects, having self-evidently united as one, have issued their fatwahs against their common enemies: Trump, his Administration and all Republicans. Their faithful followers carry out their orders, first with vile and profane condemnation on social media, they attempting to force surrender to their ideological goal of subordinating our culture and better ideas to their more primitive. As this goes on, some become so agitated they burn our flag, others act out mock murders of our leader, reminiscent of, in fact exactly mimicking, what has formerly only been seen in the street of foreign enemies, carried out by extremists of a different sort. As it has elsewhere, this continually escalates, as it has here, into violence, first in the form of riots in our streets, and inevitably into terrorist atrocities against those targeted first by the Imams and Mullahs, who then spuriously claim innocence and those they radicalized claim responsibility and threaten more. This is what they want as our new normal (their primitive culture and lesser ideas), as we now see and hear.
 
The fake news media hate mongers spent a few minutes reporting on the atrocity they incited, merely as more of the deception and manipulation, and then immediately returned to their vomit, as barking dogs reporting the latest fake news reports, again another anonymous accusation meant to further dehumanize and vilify their target, and further incite the rabid followers now insane with hate and rage.
 
The response from the cowering and long ago surrendered establishment: the same warnings against and worry about offending the inciters and those now acting out their orders, both trying to destroy us and all we believe in.
 
What causes the rage of the wicked? Their own confusion and our (those rejecting their calls to surrender) refusing to join them in their hate for what is true and normal (the law of nature and nature’s God – which produce civilization and peace). In the face of our refusal to subordinate our better ideas to their perversions, their chaotic and unreasonable mind unable to understand it, and this compounded by approval of those in seats of power and fame, simpatico, as if of one mind, in delusion and insanity, they go over the edge into complete and uncontrollable rage. The idea of one mind is what places the blame squarely with the inciters as much as with those they have incited.
 
Jeremiah 47
6 O you sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere you be quiet? put up yourself into your scabbard, rest, and be still.
7 How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD has given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there has He appointed it.
 
The meaning of the above is fully understood when we first examine the meaning of the name Ashkelon, and see it in relation to the “sea shore” as being where the wave caused by men’s swelling pride are terminated. Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary says Ashkelon is from the word shaqal, in the sense of it being a weighting-place. Shaqal means to suspend or poise, in the sense of figuring what should be paid in relation to the amount shown when weighed.
 
The word shaqal is only use two times in Jeremiah, in chapter 32, verses 9 & 10. There it comes in the midst of mystery spoken about the purchase of a field, and of the purchase price “weighed.” The point is in proving the purchase, and therefore the right as owner to redeem and reclaim it.
 
The passage begins by telling of the king of confusion (Babylon) and his army, coming to Jerusalem (the place taught and then founded upon God’s ways of peace and civilization) and taking Zedekiah (The righteousness – truth and equity in judgment- of Jehovah) captive into confusion (Babylon). It then tells of the word of the LORD (Jehovah) coming to Jeremiah (Jehovah rising and with His rising raising us – here telling of bringing us out of corruption and confusion when it comes to its termination point). This word tells of the one who pays the price and buys the field, then coming and showing the proof he has BOUGTH it.
 
This is why Peter use the words he does when telling of the false teachers who come, teaching what is produced in their own confused imaginations, and with and by their damnable heresies even denying the LORD who BOUGHT them.
 
The one he buys the field from is Hanameel (favored by God) the son of Shallum (requital – the return payment), telling of them, the buyer and seller, having fathers of the same Father, and in context telling of the one purchasing and later showing proof and right as redeemer of such. We know from Peter’s description the field that is purchase is all humanity.
 
Jeremiah 32
3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore do you prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
4 And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans [the Magi – those who use words to move people], but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes;
5 And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the LORD: though you fight with the Chaldeans, you shall not prosper.
6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
7 Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum your uncle shall come unto you saying, Buy you my field that is in Anathoth [those paying attention to what they are seeing – witnesses]: for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.
8 So Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray you, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is your, and the redemption is your; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle’s son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
10 And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances.
11 So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch [those blessed] the son [born] of Neriah [the light of Jehovah], the son [born] of Maaseiah [in the refuge of Jehovah], in the sight of Hanameel [favored by God] mine uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews [the people receiving God’s promise] that sat in the court of the prison.
13 And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
14 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
15 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.
16 Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,
17 Ah LORD God! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:

23 And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not your voice, neither walked in your law; they have done nothing of all that you commanded them to do: therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them:

26 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
28 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:
29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.
30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says the LORD.
31 For this city has been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,
32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
33 And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.
34 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.
35 And they built the high places of Baal [the god of this corrupted word], which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom [hell], to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech [the god the culture sacrifices to and sells its soul for]; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah [even those who are the leaders] to sin.
36 And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear [revere] me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
42 For thus says the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.
43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof you say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, says the LORD.
 
2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
 
The reference in Jeremiah 47:7 to the “sea shore,” it being a metaphor for the termination point of man’s pride, the end of his ignorance that misleads him to believe he is wise, are pointing to Job 38:11, and to Jeremiah 12, when those thinking themselves wise speak of the LORD not seeing their end. In Jeremiah 12 this same pride is spoken of as the “swelling of the Jordan” which is also a metaphor for death and its termination point in our victory over it.
 
Jeremiah 12
1 Righteous are you, O LORD, when I plead with you: yet let me talk with you of your judgments: Wherefore does the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
2 You have planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: you are near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
3 But you, O LORD, know me: you have seen me, and tried mine heart toward you: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
4 How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.
5 If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how canst you contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the swelling of Jordan?
6 For even your brethren, and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you; yea, they have called a multitude after you: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto you.
7 I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

Job 38
1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2 Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up now your loins like a man; for I will demand of you, and answer you me.
4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding.
5 Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling-band [protective wrapping] for it,
10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
11 And said, Hitherto shall you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves be stayed?
12 Have you commanded the morning since your days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
15 And from the wicked their light is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken.
16 Have you entered into the springs of the sea? or have you walked in the search of the depth?
17 Have the gates of death been opened unto you? or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?
18 Have you perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if you know it all.
19 Where is the way where light dwells? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
20 That you should take it to the bound thereof, and that you should know the paths to the house thereof?
21 Know you it, because you were then born? or because the number of your days is great?
22 Have you entered into the treasures of the snow? or have you seen the treasures of the hail,
23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
24 By what way is the light parted, which scatters the east wind upon the earth?

26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

39 Will you hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

Jeremiah 50
4 In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.
5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
6 My people has been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
7 All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.
9 For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.
10 And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, says the LORD.
11 Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, O you destroyers of mine heritage, because you are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;
12 Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
13 Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goes by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all you that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she has sinned against the LORD.
15 Shout against her round about: she has given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she has done, do unto her.
16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handles the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.
17 Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria has devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon has broken his bones.
18 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.
19 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.
20 In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.
21 Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, says the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded you.
22 A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.
23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!
24 I have laid a snare for you, and you are also taken, O Babylon, and you wast not aware: you are found, and also caught, because you have striven against the LORD.
25 The LORD has opened his armory, and has brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the LORD God of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.
26 Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left.

The LORD Foretelling the Destruction of the False Accusers, by Their Own Wicked Devices

What effect does darkness have against light? None. Just as surely self-evident is the fact that nothing is hidden in darkness when light is present, and there is no such physical state where more darkness can be added to disappear what is exposed by the light. In the world that now is, where discourse has been totally destroyed, where what is seen is defined as its opposite, light exposed reality is defined as whatever the delusional mind of evil men wills. In the New Heaven and New Earth, reality is defined coinciding with its actual form, and not even the darkest of men’s minds are able to alter it in the minds of those who see (re-cognized the light).
 
The way of man, in this current corrupt world, is to respond to light overcoming their darkness, after several failed feeble attempts to pour on more darkness (deceit – fake reports), is to agitating those still ignorant of the light. These now troubled masses, having come (by indoctrination) to love the darkness where they hide, able therein to commit ever unthinkable evil against their neighbors, have degenerated into a former lower state, unable to discern reality, unable to comprehend the light or the unseen things in it now seen.
 
They, confused in this condition, panic, and allow all rational thought to escape their reasoning. This is the condition when the animal nature is in control, as a beast caught in an inescapable trap, and unable to flee back into the darkness, they resort to violence – and in our time, it is by force of government, through false accusation acted upon by administering injustice (or uncontrolled outbursts of profanity, or plays depicting the brutal murder of those they have demonized and dehumanized because they are in the light). This is true in everything from climate change to the ongoing witch trials; false accusation, relying upon evidence which reports unsubstantiated and unprovable claims, which are never substantiated, and all evidence that contradict the accusation is ignored and suppressed.
 
The deception is compounded by a campaign of ridicule and vilification, using cultural icons, as the useful idiots who have gained their “star” status by how well they act out fiction, and by the “expert” testimony of those who are only experts because they are willing to argue the known lies in public. These unwitting puppets, ignorant of their own ignorance, along with their masters, the willful manipulators (politicians, reporters and preachers), no longer able to affect the many who have come into the light (having regained their cognitive capacity for recognizing truth), spiral into uncontrollable tantrum, which actually accelerates the degeneration and self-destruction.
 
These are the effects of light coming into the world, and the darkness is the so-called “wisdom” of this corrupted world.
 
1 Corinthians 3
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
 
The Greek word translates “craftiness” in verse 19 above is panourgia, meaning sophistry, meaning to use fallacious arguments, especially with the intention to deceive.
 
The additional apsect is seen when the word is examined through the two Greek words it is compounded from; pas, meaning the whole of the manner or means, and ergo, meaning work.
 
It is telling of God taking the wise in this world, in the whole of their work, as their own ignorance returns upon them as it proves itself as such.
 
As previously discussed and studied, verse 19 contains the only quote from Job that appears in the New Testament. The quote shows the deeper meaning of the entirety of Job, and gives understanding to His suffering, when understood in the context of 1 Corinthians 11:19, which was discussed in the prior post. “19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.”
 
In the previous post, we discussed the word “heresies,” first from its appearance in 2 Peter 2:1 where we are told of the false teachers among us, who have brought in damnable heresies, even denying the LORD (the Light) that bought them. There we saw these are those who refuse the
love of the truth, and instead choose to be destroyed by keeping their own ways of deceptions. We know these are the men in power over what is taught and reported, sitting in God’s seats of judgment in church and state, and rather than administering justice, as God intended, they mete out the opposite, injustice, while abusing their power to victimize their neighbors.
 
This is the point of Job – these men, the false accuser and the minsters of injustice, are exposed as wicked men, and those approved of God are raised up from lowly places to replace them.
 
The nuance in Job is that this quote appears in one of the accusation of those accusing Job. It is as Eliphaz tells of his dream, when man has fallen into deep sleep, and in this he is shown the ways of righteousness. This is directly related to Peter, in 2 Peter 3, telling of those who knowing the way of righteousness turning from it. These are those having been rebuked, warned and corrected away from their unrighteousness, but instead choose to return or remain in it, having forgotten the ways of correction – into rightness, equity and justice in judgment, especially for those sitting in the highest seats.
 
1 Corinthians 4
2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judges me is the LORD.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the LORD come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that you might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
7 For who makes you to differ from another? and what have you that you did not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you glory, as if you had not received it?
8 Now you are full, now you are rich, you have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God you did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9 For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised.
11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling-place;
12 And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
13 Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the off-scouring of all things unto this day.
14 I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.
15 For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have you not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
16 Wherefore I beseech you, be you followers of me.
17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the LORD, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
18 Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the LORD will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21 What will you? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?
 
Job 5, after the above quote appears in verse 13, tells of this as part of the false accusing mouth of the wicked being stopped, and it then in verse 17 & 18 says, “ Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore despise not you the chastening of the Almighty: For He makes sore, and binds up: He wounds, and His hands make whole.” It is what Peter speaks of in 2 Peter 3 when he tells of the longsuffering LORD, correcting, not wanting any to perish – by continuing in their own self-destructive ways, following their own ignorance.
 
2 Peter 2
9 The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our LORD is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
 
Job 4
1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
2 If we assay to commune with you, will you be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
3 Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
4 Your words have upheld him that was falling, and you have strengthened the feeble knees.
5 But now it is come upon you, and you faintest; it touches you, and you are troubled.
6 Is not this your fear, your confidence, your hope, and the uprightness of your ways?
7 Remember, I pray you, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
8 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
9 By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
10 The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
11 The old lion perishes for lack of prey, and the stout lion’s whelps are scattered abroad.
 
12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men,
14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
20 They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
21 Does not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.
 
Job 5
1 Call now, if there be any that will answer you; and to which of the saints will you turn?
2 For wrath kills the foolish man, and envy slays the silly [simple minded] one.
3 I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
4 His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them.
5 Whose harvest the hungry eats up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swallows up their substance.
6 Although affliction comes not forth of the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;
7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9 Which does great things and unsearchable; marvelous things without number:
10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sends waters upon the fields:
 
11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
12 He disappoints the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward [those who twist and pervert truth] is carried headlong.
14 They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.
15 But he saves the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
16 So the poor has hope, and iniquity stops her mouth.
17 Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore despise not you the chastening of the Almighty:
18 For he makes sore, and binds up: he wounds, and his hands make whole.
19 He shall deliver you in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch you.
20 In famine he shall redeem you from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
21 You shall be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shall you be afraid of destruction when it comes.
22 At destruction and famine you shall laugh: neither shall you be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23 For you shall be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with you.
24 And you shall know that your tabernacle shall be in peace; and you shall visit your habitation, and shall not sin.
25 You shall know also that your seed shall be great, and your offspring as the grass of the earth.
26 You shall come to your grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn comes in in his season.
27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know you it for your good.
 
As we have discussed in prior posts, the verse that follow 1 Corinthians 3:19, as it tells of the LORD taking the wise in their own craft, speaks of His knowing the thoughts of those thought wise in this corrupted culture, and they are vain (worthless and without any value). We know this later portion (verse 20) as being quoted from Psalms 94:11, a Psalms with its subject being, Rest for the earth. In the context of our conversation we understand the darkness of these false teachers and preachers, all their false accusation and fake news, as causing and maintaining the decent into unbelief, and the agitation of the ignorant. These many aspects show the reason it is allowed to occur, and giving the way to return to rest and peace: by hearing those approved by God, proven and vindicated in the same fires that destroy the reprobates.
 
Psalms 94
1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shew yourself.
2 Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 They break in pieces your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Understand, you brutish among the people: and you fools, when will you be wise?
9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 He that chastises [disciplines] the heathen [those who don’t know the LORD], shall not he correct? he that teaches man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Blessed is the man whom you chastens [disciplines and corrects], O LORD, and teaches him out of your law;
13 That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked [the recalcitrant and incorrigible].
14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frame mischief by a law?
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 But the LORD is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
