Apocalypse – Openning the Mind of a Blinded World

Today an amplification of yesterday’s point, “Opening the eyes of the blind is true Christian charity.” The point was made through following with 1 Corinthians 13 where we are plainly told that all of the other gifts will fail, charity never does.

Here is the chapter again: 1 Corinthians 13
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profits me nothing.
4 Charity suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not; charity vaunts not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
6 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 Bears all things, believeth all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Charity never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abides faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

The logical follow up statement can then be made that – opening the eyes of the blind is the manifestation of perfecting, and is the resurrection of those who aren’t able to see. We read of these concepts above in the context of the way we see things in part until that which is perfect is come. We are told of it by means of antitypes (antitupon), as in seeing something in the pattern of something that has come before it, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.” (If you haven’t you should read the previous post for full context.)

The Greek word antitupon is only used twice and in both it is telling of resurrection and of the enlightenment that produces it. The inability to see isn’t because of physical blindness, but rather, as with our speaking in terms of mind and understanding, so is the darkness in the same realms.

Antitupon is used in 1 Peter 3:21 translated “like figure” in telling of the baptism that saves being “like” the flood in the days of Noah, but instead of washing the flesh, we are told it is washing away what keeps us from an answer of a good conscience toward God. Specific attention must be paid to the other five uses of the same word (agathos) “good” in this chapter as they define a “good conscience.” All are the perfecting and what resurrects His chosen to the position above (heaven) all the powers of the earth. It is the way we “answer” when we are asked all the same questions Job is asked in Job 40.

The “answer” is the conclusion in response at the decision point. This decision is the Greek word krisis, translated judgment, and as condemnation when having been given all the information needed to make correct choice willing choosing to stay with the incorrect – willfully choosing corruption over the uncorrupted. “John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” “John 5:24 Truly, Truly, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

1 Peter 4:8 tells us “charity shall cover the multitude of sins” as in the verses prior we see the reason and the time. The quote is originally from Proverbs 10:12. (The other use of antitupon is in Hebrews 9:24 as “figures.”)

Job 40
1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
2 “Shall he that contends with the Almighty instruct him? He that reproves God, let him answer it.”
3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
4 “Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.”
6 Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
7 “Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou may be righteous?
9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
10 Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
14 Then will I also confess unto thee that your own right hand can save thee.”

Proverbs 10 (verse 12)
1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivers from death.
3 The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casts away the substance of the wicked.
4 He becomes poor that deals with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent makes rich.
5 He that gathers in summer is a wise son: but he that sleeps in harvest is a son that causes shame.
6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
9 He that walks uprightly walks surely: but he that perverts his ways shall be known.

18 He that hides hatred with lying lips, and he that utters a slander, is a fool.
19 In the multitude of words there is no lack of sin: but he that refrains his lips is wise.
20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.
22 The blessing of the Lord, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

1 Peter 4
1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

1 Peter 2
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judges righteously:

25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

1 Peter 3 (verse 21 & 22)
1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Apocalypse – Seeing is Believing is Seeing

Beginning (again) today with the warning against thinking you will see the full meaning in what is written if you haven’t been reading along. If you devote your self and your time in other endeavors don’t expect a return on an investment here that you haven’t made. This meaning itself isn’t superficially apparent, and takes me to our point of – seeing the unseen. As we looked into yesterday, faith and deliberation are what opens the eyes and ears of the mind. This is the battle we wage against those who follow the pattern of human nature and have taken control of the oracles as they were delivered by God and degraded them to bring God’s people under the bondage of their rule/control over their thinking.

The nature of the Spirit is to reestablish the connection to the life and freedom found in purity and holiness of the uncorrupted first hand witness – seeing the unseen world today and beyond (by use of God given intellect to understand and act knowing [by intellectual faith] both as interconnected realities).

Continuing, Galatians 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the [natural] world:
4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to (brings forth) bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bears not; break forth and cry, thou that travails not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what say the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

This is telling of the pattern of the human nature’s inclination to bring men into bondage under those who ascend to positions of power. The mission and nature of God is to free us from the natural pattern as the mind of Christ is formed in us and we grow into adulthood as fully liberated sons of God. The rule of (elements) the world as we now see it in full manifestation is to use liberty as mean of lawlessness, and the consequence of this shortsightedness is chaos.In answering one of the comments to yesterday’s post we looked at Hebrews 11 as the example of those who have come before us seeing the unseen future and in seeing acted in their time with this end in mind. In other words, they understood their Spiritual nature and acted understanding the effect their action had on their time and society in general. They saw it as a pattern which must and would be continued to insure God’s plan of creating man in His image and likeness – governed by his spiritual nature and the civilization that can only come with self bridled liberty of an “adult” human – released from the swaddling bands of his human nature.

This is what we see said in the final verse of Hebrews 11 of those having come before us and their not being made perfect without us. This time is what they saw afar off, the time when humanity awakes from its sleep.
Ephesians 5
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Hebrews 11
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaks.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

Acts 7
1 Then said the high priest, Are these things so?
2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
3 And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall show thee.
4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
6 And God spoke on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.
8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.
9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,
10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.
12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.
13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.
14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.
15 So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,
16 And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.
17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
18 Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.
19 The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.
20 In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months:
21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.
22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.
23 And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:
25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.
26 And the next day he showed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?
27 But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?
28 Wilt thou kill me, as thou did the Egyptian yesterday?
29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.
30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,
32 Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou stands is holy ground.
34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.
35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
36 He brought them out, after that he had showed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.
37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.

44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion (pattern) that he had seen.
45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus (Joshua into the Promised Land) into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
46 Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
47 But Solomon built him an house.
48 Howbeit the most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as say the prophet,
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? says the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart (reasoning as the eye of the mind) and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Apocalypse – Clearing Away the Unreliable

Prophecy isn’t written by those seeing the future, but rather by those having seen human nature in their time and writing about it in a way which would endure to show the same in all times – as the same traits repeat in the same pattern. The Spirit of God in these men allowed them to see through what had been degraded by the creations of men controlling it (truth in church and state) over time preceding. In this pattern the battle they fought was against these powers to combat and overcome the damage they had done. To know the future is in knowing the time and pattern, and foremost in knowing God.

What did the Lord define as the reason the temple would be destroyed and Jerusalem left desolate? Luke 19:44 records it as Him saying they knew not the time of their visitation. In Matthew 23 He very specifically states it as a perpetual reoccurrence of the same pattern of degrade (corruption).

Luke 19
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou had known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

Here is what Matthew 23 says and in this time it is the same indictment. If you are a teacher or lead a church, or you tell yourself it is meant for everyone except you and your beliefs, it is meant specifically to you. You are the scribes and Pharisees of our time. You need to take responsibility for corrupting what is holy and for bringing abominations into the holy place. Repent!

1 Then spoke Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that kills the prophets, and stones them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The Lord uses some very specific words in telling the cause of this blindness that hinders right judgment. He says it is a “beam” in the eye of those in these teaching and leadership positions who are claiming they can remove the “mote” from the eyes of others.

The Greek word translated “beam” is dokos, meaning a stick, as a beam of timber. It is said to be from the word dechomai, meaning to receive or accept something. Therefore we see the idea of the “beam” for its quality of bearing the weight of that which rests upon it. This is the concept being imparted in the context of right judgment. The inability to judge the time is due to what has been passed down in a succession of ever degrading truth. (It is the pitfall of legal determination by precedent rather than by first principle.)

The Greek word translated as “mote” is karphos, meaning a dry twig. It is the idea of being at the end of the tree’s branching. It is from karpho, meaning to wither, and very similar to karpos, meaning fruit. The one with the twig in their eye is result of the stick in the eye of the one teaching. The stick can’t pass on what it doesn’t have [from the root], and if there is no life to pass on to the twig the end result is it withers and there is no fruit.

Now read Matthew 7 again in this context and understand we are only able to judge rightly, AS WE ARE COMMANDED TO DO, if we have the truth as it was delivered from God (first principles of the Oracle of God), and it doesn’t flow through a [twice (Jude 1:12)] dead limb. I am the branch connected to the good tree.

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why behold thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but consider not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

When the Lord tells in Luke 19:44 of not knowing the “time of the visitation” it is referring to what is written in Luke 1:78 when it shows how the restoration of the life flow comes. We are told there it is by the “dayspring from on high” He visits upon us. We see in the surrounding verses the mission is to redeem us from our enemies and to the way of life.

The word translated here “dayspring” is anatole, meaning rising of light. It is the word used when the Lord tells us of His coming being as light that shines from the “east” to the west. It is translated “east” in Matthew 24:27, “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Anatole as used here is the equivalent of the Hebrew word tsamach, meaning to spring forth, and is the word translated as Branch in Isaiah 4:2, Jeremiah 23:5 & 33:15, and Zachariah 3:8 & 6:12. All of these tell of the branch that springs forth as the light, and in him is life. This is why the Lord tells us in Matthew 24 to know the time by the branch. “32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”

The only thing that keeps people from seeing the time are the waves and clouds created (what the are relying – the beam) and told them by those teaching the fables of men.

Job 37:21 end with telling of these clouds that cover the light, and this is following all the questions about knowing the counsel of God.

10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
11 Also by watering he wearies the thick cloud: he scatters his bright cloud:
12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commands them upon the face of the world in the earth.
13 He causes it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
15 Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
17 How thy garments are warm, when he quiets the earth by the south wind?
18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
19 Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
20 Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
21 And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passes, and cleanses them.
22 Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
23 Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
24 Men do therefore fear him: he respects not any that are wise of heart.

In Job 38 the LORD speak of the time when He ends the proud waves, and causes the dayspring to know his time. We are told this is so the wicked may be shaken out of the earth.

1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2 Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband (the wrappings that keep the child still until he was able to control his movements) for it,
10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
15 And from the wicked their light is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken.
16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

“The LORD will not cast off His people.” Psalms 94 says this and just prior we are told, “Blessed are those who the LORD corrects and teaches out of His word.” Even prior to this we see the LORD knows the thoughts of man are void of value. The problem with the world is who is teaching and more so what they teach. The modern church and nation [of God’s people] are dead and refuse to recover. This is a condition of being brain dead, no activity showing life, and these heads, the misleaders, are the cause in that they have created a cult of worshiping them as they sit in the seat of God showing themselves as if they are God. They oppose everything that God stands for, and those that are led by them are made seven times more the children of hell than they themselves.

Matthew 23
1 Then spoke Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

What time is it? It is past the time.

Isaiah 9
14 Therefore the Lord will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
15 The ancient and honorable, he is the head; and the prophet that teaches lies, he is the tail.
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

Psalms 94

Amos 7
14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
15 And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
16 Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou say, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
17 Therefore thus says the Lord; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.”

Amos 8
1 Thus hath the Lord God showed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
2 And he said, Amos, what see thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, says the Lord God: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the Sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

14 They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, lives; and, The manner of Beersheba lives; even they shall fall, and never rise up again. (idol worship is what is called God’s house – but is a calf – creation of men – in His stead)

Amos 9
1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that flees of them shall not flee away, and he that escapes of them shall not be delivered.
2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

Apocalypse – The Fire that Calms the Sea

Today I am going to address a comment made to yesterday’s post when it appeared at facebook.com/LogosofTheou. The comment was specifically directed at Revelation 15:2 and incorrectly defining “the sea of glass mingled with fire” as follows: “this describes when 90 scientists stood on a sea of glass called Trinity, in New Mexico each holding a holy book of god, Oppenheimer read from the Bagavad Gita, that is the song of God, after they tested the first Nuclear bomb.” I corrected her about it actually not meaning that, and of course she went on to say, “this was prophecy fulfilled at Alamogordo, New Mexico with the test of the first nuclear weapon.” I write the following not to sham the person but only as a teaching point. (There have been many far greater abuses than this one. The “experts” do it every day and are the least willing to be corrected. They already know it all – while only lacking one thing, the Truth.)

This [comment] epitomizes a problem in understand prophesy, the origin of the problem being with hypothetical surmising about one specific point without considering other aspects mentioned with it, and then how each of these are used in other instances. In this case we see a conclusion drawn to how one point could be seen as referring to something, but when the entire context of what is written is examined there isn’t any continuity of meaning. When we frivolously and incorrectly divide the word as has been done here we add contradiction to God’s word, which is without contradiction. People should be more careful and have more respect for what is holy.

This takes me to the true point about right judgment. Most people have no idea what is meant when they quote from Matthew 7:1, “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” Most people claim [falsely] it means we shouldn’t judge anything, and when looked at alone and without considering the surrounding context it may appear so. When the adjoining context is added we see it as warning those who aren’t qualified, by preparation of their mind’s eye, to not judge. The following sentence tells us, “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” Therein we see it warning that by incorrectly dividing the word of God we not only expose ourselves but others to the sentence contained in this degraded and incorrect ruling, and we encourage others to take the same liberties with God’s words. (In doing this we set a precedent for degrade and thoughtlessness – trampling under foot that which is holy and not caring about the consequences of doing so. Therefore “let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.”)

The idea of purifying your mind is told in following verse as the Lord uses the similitude of getting the beam out of our own eye first, so we can then see clearly to be able to judge rightly. That is the full context – when we do judge don’t take it lightly or and don’t do it at all if you haven’t first made sure your judgment is correct. Too many people use the scriptures out of context to condemn their brother, and doing their incorrect opinion mislead and confuses others about God’s word as they also condemn themselves by their own idle words of condemnation. Judgment isn’t about condemnation but rather it is about correction. The condemnation is self-imposed by rejecting the correction. Matthew 7 tells us the object is to be able to pull the splinter out of your brother’s eye, not to condemn him for having it in there. This is the same as what the Lord is doing with the guy with the beam in his eye.

Now read Matthew 7 in this context, and remember the Lord’s words, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

Matthew 7
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

James 3
1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Read the following paying attention to the use in both chapters of the term “prince(s) of this world.”

John 16 (verse 11)
1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

Apocalypse – The Lie In Worldly Compassion Uncovered

Continuing: As we have recently seen, when the term “wicked one” is used it is in defining the type as like Cain. When we as Christ minded people are called to love we are warned to do it as Christ did, not as Cain. The hate Cain shows is comparable to how the world hates us because we are Christian. The point of today is that we are called to be compassionate, not in words to make ourselves feel as if we are good (superior), but to do so in truth without any under covered self-serving agenda.

I would be negligent if I didn’t at this point bring up Saul Alinsky, and the handbook of leftist agitators he authored, “Rules for Radicals.” This is a book (seemingly) offhandedly dedicated (an “over the shoulder acknowledgement” as he called it) to Lucifer, who Alinsky said was the first community agitator and was so successful that he won his own kingdom, hell (my paraphrase). One of the book’s espoused techniques is to create conflict and in that way bring groups together against who they define as their common enemy. This is what we have recently discussed is being employed by the political agitators and their allies in the leftist [news] media. The enemies of their enemies are their friend, not really, but are useful pawns in their political manipulations.

One of the “rules” used by Alinsky disciples, Obama and Hillary among the most notable, is to make the enemy live up to their own standards. In the case of refugees it is our standard of “compassion.” If we claim we have Christian charity (love as compassion) they say we should [blindly] implement it in this case.

The truth is – we who understand the tactic know it as the Siren’s Call of the leftists and nothing more than an agenda item to be used as explained above (to create conflict). These are what are known in politics as “wedge issues,” and used to force apart people who are their political enemies. We will now fight among ourselves about who is or isn’t “compassionate.” The left care nothing about the people involved or the effectiveness of the government program they will set up to show their compassion instead of actually doing it. All are merely pawns and pieces in their political power game.

One of their other preeminent “rules” is ridicule, and most often used to combat the truth as it rises. (Rules for Radicals – Rule #5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.) This comes in the form of demonization and  is the main tool in creating the common enemy that must be vanquished. In these political battles this common enemy becomes both the problem and then any opposition to the deceptions is framed as these demons wanting to continue the evil for which they are responsible. This tactic can be seen in every issue from gun control to global warming. It is never really about the issue, but rather the political power (money – control of the treasury), and the people never seen as anything except to be used in gaining it.

The truth becomes meaningless and in fact is the enemy in this intentionally reversed world void of reality, and of necessity all truthful discourse must be destroyed for it to work. Outcome can’t be allowed to be connected to the good intentions falsely stated as the premise, and therefore a lie must and is created that shifts the blame to an existing demon or a newly created one. This is the politics of “crisis” manipulation, the creation of decision points and then manipulation toward self-serving solution, which by design turn into greater problems. It is a never-ending cycle of crisis and solution and at each point those who control the information outlets (the media) define the demons, and the same saviors are raised up once again with more of the same old “good intentioned” “compassionate” “solutions.”

Here again is a quote we have looked at in the past in dealing with this same issue of the leftists’ deception. From Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s minister of propaganda:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

These deceivers seek nothing but to use our Christian compassion against us. Connect the outcome to the stated intentions and in doing you will know them by the fruit and not be deceived by the lying claims of compassion. They are liars and there is no truth in them.

When the Lord tells of the parable of the tares He defines the one sowing the corrupt seed as the “wicked one.” Again this is a reference to Cain, who was also a sower of seed. The seed the Lord tells will be separated from His children are these who will seek to do the same as their father Cain. They come to kill and destroy.

Matthew 13
18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19 When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that hears the word, and anon with joy receives it;

Apocalypse – The LORD Of Hosts Our Sanctuary

Continuing with a deeper examination of meaning contained in what may seem as idle words used in recent posts. In telling of the Syrians as invaders and explaining the mystery of why Obama (and his type) willingly enable it, we have used the descriptive term telling of him letting it happen because they are the “enemies of his enemies.” Understanding this is found in the pattern of the scriptures that accompanied yesterday post. Isaiah 9 opens describing the dimness and anguish on the earth being limited. This is referring to the “confederacy” mentioned in the chapter prior by telling of it as when Judah and Israel were at war against each other and Judah made a deal with Syria for them to attack Israel (see 1 Kings 15). It (Isaiah 9) tells of this happening in type but that it won’t be as it was when they were after it more grievously afflicted. We are told it will not happen because, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

In the above pattern Judah and Israel can be seen as the spiritual wicked in high places of church and state, and we are all the people used as their pawns. What is foretold is a coming light and the people reunited with One leader. Isaiah 8 tells of the preparation being the people being sealed by the testimony and looking away from the world and to God.

1 Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

Isaiah 10 can then be seen as the pattern of limiting the further affliction. The Assyrian, the covering waters of the storm he causes (Isaiah 8:6 & 7), here can be seen as the pattern the evil king and his ilk now reigning over us. We are also told of the remnant who return and of it being as when a small group speaking with one voice put the enemy to flight and then all the people came out to the victory at the rock of Oreb. The reference is to Judges 7 and Gideon. There is also mention of this also being in the manner of Egypt as the water were divided and then closed on those pursuing those freed.

Isaiah 10
1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Howbeit he means not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
8 For he says, Are not my princes altogether kings?
9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
13 For he says, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
14 And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathers eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
15 Shall the axe boast itself against him that hews therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shakes it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.
16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer faints.
19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.
31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.
32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.

1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.
2 And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
4 And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.
5 So he brought down the people unto the water: and the Lord said unto Gideon, Every one that laps of the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that bows down upon his knees to drink.

16 And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
17 And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
18 When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.”
19 So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.
20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.”
21 And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.
22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the Lord set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.
23 And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.
24 And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
25 And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.

Apocalypse – The LORD’s Answer

Today a word about the destruction of western civilization, and by that I mean in our case Christianity and self-government (government of the people), the latter only being possible and maintainable when the former is present. First, the question, Are we obligated to accept people into our country who don’t believe in (or even know or understand) any of the foundational principles that have produced US? The answer is no we are not. The truth is we no longer teach to maintain them and in fact our foundational ideas have, with intention, been demonized and falsely accused of being unjust; therefor there is no way to either export those ideas or assimilate those coming into them. What we now export and teach are the altered reality, and those coming have either been taught to hate us or to come for the material advantages. This is the modern version of invade, conquer, plunder and pillage.

The domestic enemies of Christianity and the US Constitution are those who infiltrated and subverted the institutions where truth was once told and taught. These still call themselves “our” churches, schools and government, but now in place of “our” national interest and founding ideology they force an agenda of foreign interest. The intention is to subjugate us under central control (world’s agenda), first internally by induced ignorance, altered reality taught in our schools and churches, and next the ensuing vote for those appealing to lowest desires of the electorate (reflecting the ignorance they have been taught). Once these (republican and democrat, perverted establishments both) types reach as they have the highest seats of power, each in there own way then exert forced control in furtherance of their sect’s means to the same end [by law or lawlessness], which is the fundamental transformation of this nation into one reflecting their will (self-centered ideological agenda).

I have recently written of the common trait now pervading those attacking us, both foreign and domestic, being hate for a common enemy, true Christianity and true Constitutional conservatism (and those friendly to it). Be not deceived, this is the root. We stand in the way with our truth – that can’t be tolerated (by them).

Does the Catholic Church act with our ideals as their motivating or governing principles? Do they believe that all Christians are equal? or is their answer, yes, BUT all others are less equal than theirs? They in fact act with an agenda that is to bring all other Christians back (although they were among the first to leave the truth) under the control of their Church and Pope. Does the UN act in our interest? Does the world? Do those in control of church and state internally? We are talking about the interest of Christianity and of the US Constitution. That is who We are as a People and totally opposite the ideological agenda of these groups. By their fruit you shall know them, not by their words alone, but by concurring of word, deed and outcome.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Illegal immigration and refugee status are ways of furthering the destruction of our national identity (Christian and freedom from tyranny – because of an adherence to Constitution – the law that limits the power to control US with unjust laws and/or lawlessness). France is the window into our future. The violence is to intimidate those trying to stem the process of Islam assimilating that country into its culture. What is Islamic culture? Violence and submission to Control, and even the “peaceful” Muslims are those who have willingly “surrendered” to the control of the violent. There is no room in Islam for other beliefs, only patience until they (different beliefs) can be forced to surrender or be killed. And as we see – our President, the churches, our media, all think US the enemy and more willingly join with those who hate us than join with us. We are their common enemy.

They must be destroyed – by opposing their lies with one voice, and in uncovering them it becomes evident they have sown the seed of their own destruction. What does that voice sound like? It sounds Just like mine, And it asks for nothing in return. It seeks nothing but to revive through understanding those sleeping.

The enemies of this cross will attack and misrepresent everything this voice says by taking small bits (sound bites and single verses) and adding deceptive context. That is the battle we must engage in, and shouldn’t expect to encounter anything but. That is the cross we must bear. I choose Christ.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Joel 2

Apocalypse – Self-Evident Truth Appears

Eternal existence and self-generating are the meaning of the name Jehovah, and therefore as with the many other Hebrew words compounded with it to define situational characteristics of His providential (Emanuel) self-generation, Jesus is Jehovah [our] Salvation. His name defines Jehovah as He manifests Himself into His position as our Savior. This is the object of today’s discussion, beginning with Psalms 110 which, when examined into its intended depth, tells of HIM in all times as it does for us here and now (in ending the drought).

Psalm 110
1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of Thy strength out of Zion: rule Thou in the midst of Thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew of Thy youth.
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The LORD at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, He shall fill the places with the dead bodies; He shall wound the heads over many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall He lift up [His] head.

Beginning with the last verse wherein we are told of the means by which Jehovah lifts up Himself. We are told it is by His drinking “of he brook in the way.” The Hebrew word here translated “brook” is nachal meaning a stream, as in something that flows down. It is from an identical word (nachal) meaning to inherit, as the mode by which something is passed down. As we see – this is the theme of the entire Psalm.
This inheritance is told of using the word nachal in 1 Samuel 2:8, wherein we are told it is the LORD who lifts the lowly to “inherit” thrones of glory. This chapter begin with describing Hannah’s prayer as she is in the midst of seeing the Salvation of the LORD.

1 Samuel 2
1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoices in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
2 There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any Rock like our God.
3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogance come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.
5 They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
6 The Lord kills, and makes alive: he brings down to the grave, and brings up.
7 The Lord makes poor, and makes rich: he brings low, and lifts up.
8 He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
10 The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

The thing to note here is that Hannah’s child is the One who the LORD sends to prepare the way and anoint David. Now if we look at who has drank of this same “brook” it takes us to 1 Kings 17 and Elijah drinking of the brook Cherith. The brook’s name is from the karath, meaning to be cut off. We are told it is a brook the LORD tells Elijah to drink of, and is later cut off because of the drought. Elijah goes on from there to meet the widow of Zarephath, who has the child that Elijah raises up.

1 Kings 17
1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
2 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
5 So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.
17 And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.
18 And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?
19 And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.
20 And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again.
22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
23 And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.
24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth.

Plainly spoken, the above is telling of Elijah in the pattern of his coming to prepare the way of the Lord, and the child he raises up is [in the fashion of Samuel] to anoint the Lord at His coming. Zarephath is from a word meaning to refine, which add the contextual definition of Elijah as we are told when he is called the LORD’s messenger in Malachi 3:1 before he is identified by name in Malachi 4:5.

Malachi 3
1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.
6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

Malachi 4
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

All the above tie back to Psalms 110, and takes us to its telling of the LORD being in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrew 7 gives a description of this [mode] and it also puts the mention of “tithes” in Malachi 3:8 into its proper context, as in Psalms 110, of being in relation to the defeat of the kings (so the lowly can be Raised).

Hebrews 7
1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abides a priest continually.
4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, ****of whom it is witnessed that he lives.****
9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham.
10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there arises another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 For he testifies, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord swore and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24 But this man, because he continues ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.
26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 For the law makes men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, makes the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

The widow of Zarephath is spoken of by my Lord and recorded by Luke [the one having perfect knowledge in all things] in Luke 4:26 as it tells of the many in Israel and Elias (Elijah) only being sent to the widow of Sarepta (Zarephath). This chapter beings with the Lord’s standing against the accusations and demands for proof coming from the devil. Remember, the final demand for proof is answered with the Lord partially quoting from Deuteronomy 6:16. The full quote there is, ” Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.” This is a reference to Exodus 17:2 -7, which should be consider in similar context with all afore mentioned. It is telling of knowing what is know in 1 Kings 17:24, and the same discerning of Malachi 3:18, of the knowing Rock through which the drought is broken.

Exodus 17
2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the Lord?
3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
4 And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
5 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smote the river, take in thine hand, and go.
6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
7 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us, or not?

Luke 4
1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Apocalypse – Fighting the Good Fight of Faith

Christ haters (antichrists) often (at www.facebook.com/LogosofTheou) ask the same sour question as if they have some new accusation proving something that will produce doubt in believers. They accuse God (mostly Christ) and the Bible as being myth, and ask the question, “Show me one prophesy that has ever come true?” This is their paradox of not wanting to see, and therefore, no matter what they see is consciously rejected. Then there are believer unaware of this fact that try to point to detailed occurrences now and in history they say prove the Bible’s truth. The antichrists aren’t interested in being convinced and therefore close their mind to any information that contradicts their goal of destroying FAITH. As for this being something new, it is actually the first recorded attack on “faith,” and it is by accusation against God.

Genesis 3
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Did death come as God said? (The antichrists will say no.) Death entered humanity by this induced falling away [from faith in God] through intentional deception and false accusation. In the next generation Cain killed his brother Abel, “And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” As we have examined, Hebrews 12 tells of the Father (God) correcting our course back to Him and away from this error and fall. We also saw we are warned to hear [this word of correction] as the world is shaken, and how it speaks a greater witness than Abel’s (blood). Earlier in the chapter we are told of those among us who hear this correction but choose to stay with the morsels of meet (doctrine they have created as if fruit plucked from the tree) and in doing sell their birthright.

The point today is that we aren’t going to prove anything to those bent on destroying us. Our defense is [faith in ] the LORD of hosts. But as Cain, “who was that wicked one,” killed the righteous, so do those in our time whose offering (what they have cultivated) is rejected by the LORD. The trouble isn’t of external origin. It begins with subversion (sabotaging faith) from within and the consequence is destruction and chaos, normal for the uncivilized (heathen nations), as it/they invades and then destroy our sanctuary (as waves cover the ship).

2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now keeps us from rising will hold us down, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

This “wicked” one is defined in verse 8 above using the Greek word anomos. This is a ten times used word appearing in Mark and Luke as “transgressors” in quoting Isaiah 53:12. The Hebrew word is pasha’ and is therein used twice. The meaning is to break away (from just authority), as in apostasy or rebellion. The gospels tell us only that Christ at His crucifixion “was numbered among the transgressors.” This also defines those crucifying Him as being those in (unjust) authority, as they falsely accused Him of being the apostate and rebel. Isaiah tells us the remaining aspect immediately in ending the sentence, “and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” Luke’s gospel tells of this aspect as it records the Lord’s words, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Hebrews 10:26 – 30)

Isaiah 53
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

This takes us back to the word anomos and the other time it is translated “wicked.” Acts 2:23 tells us plainly these apostate rebels are those who crucified the Lord. Just prior to this Peter quotes from Joel 2 in telling of the sun being darkened and the moon turned to blood. Those who read along know these as the church and civil governments as God intended them to shine and reflect His light on earth (His Just reign – kingdom on earth). These being mentioned with telling of those who crucified the Lord is consistent with the context of our war against spiritual wickedness in high places. The threats from without are only such due to the corruption (falling away) of the just authorities within.

Ephesians 5
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Here is what Peter says in Acts 2:
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Friends, the point is we are not going to convince those who are seeking to destroy us. We must destroy their will to make war against US. Foremost we must remove those who sit in the seats of power, who seeing the consequence of their blindly leading us, continue in the same way seemingly wanting and enabling our destruction. We need to understand there are enemies of God and our Constitution, both foreign and domestic, and they have risen to control the highest seats of power.

Philippians 3
17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
This takes us back to the question the antichrists ask for proof of prophesy coming true. Here are several that prove them to be the proof. They will refuse it, even as they do in denying all reality. The proof is for believer to see by understanding.
1 John 2
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.

Joshua 23
13 Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you.
14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.

The nations who are invading us – by invitation of our leaders – are only doing what they do – these are their ways and what they believe. Our leaders have brought us to this place in telling us all beliefs are equal. They told us we shouldn’t teach (self-evident) truth and we should keep it to ourselves (then made laws forcing us to do so). Our preachers corrupted into self-centered doctrines of devils telling us gain is godliness. The truth is someone’s beliefs are going to be taught and some will force theirs upon us as we [have] become silent and weakened.

Our ideas are better. Our FAITH in God as embodied in Christ, and of Government under God as embodied in our Constitution, are the ideas that have made us great and prosperous. Our prosperity and greatness haven’t and don’t come from our prosperity. Destroy the foundation of the greatness and the prosperity and all else is destroyed with it. This is the self-evident truth that can only be denied by those who intentionally reject reality or have minds unable to comprehend it.

1 Timothy 6
3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
