26 – 29 November 2023
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
The LORD begins above, in Isaiah 40:5, speaking of the time when His presence is known, and all the world is divided for and against Him. This division is a matter of mind, whose ways and ideas rule therein, thereby showing what elements possess them: good or evil. This distinction, as now, becomes eminently apparent, marked in words and the willing (some in ignorance, others with intention) works resulting from obedience (to the good or evil ruling them) revealing it.
The point, since the creation (the termination of the previous age and the beginning of the new age), is that man would understand good and evil, which gender to life or death. Those who learn to choose good and refuse evil, by the LORD’s light (understanding and the wisdom to choose it) entering the darkness of the earth become without form and void, become God’s children, His new creation of man in His image and likeness.
Friends, only those who deny reality, the experience now taking hold of our minds, can oppose (satan – the resistor of truth) it as here defined. This resistance, as we know, comes through its (truth’s) intentional destruction, through reversal or censorship (motivated by obedience to what they know is evil, choosing it over good they also know), through known lies told by the liars the awakened refuse and choose good. These evil misleaders, not only deny reality (gaslighting the world), but redefine it, calling good evil and evil good. A recent example is found in two reports of the same event, one truth, the other gaslighting, one good and one evil. Infowars (Alex Jones) reported (shows the video: reality) that Trump received a hero’s welcome at a football game, and the MSM (including Drudge, evil’s chief amalgamator) reports he (the president) was booed. It is this type reporting, intentional demoralization, that produced mass confusion, mass delusion, and now ends in mass insanity that is maniacal and malicious.
Job 34
1 Furthermore Elihu [“He is God,” speaking and working unknown] answered [‘anah – as in Anathoth: the LORD answering those who’ve petitioned Him to redeem the earth] and said,
2 Hear [shama’ – obey] my words, O you wise men; and give ear unto me, you that have knowledge.
3 For the ear tries words, as the mouth tastes meat.
4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
5 For Job [God’s hated people in this generation, as well as throughout time] has said, “I am [self] righteous: and God has taken away my judgment.
6 Should I lie against my [what he thinks is] right? my wound [of ignorance] is incurable without transgression.”
7 What man is like Job, who drinks up scorning like water?
8 Which goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men.
9 For he has said, It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God [seeking Him and His glory first].
10 Therefore hearken unto me you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness [mislead into destruction]; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
13 Who has given him a charge [paqad – made Him Chief Overseer] over the earth? or who has disposed [suwm – considered, and made accordingly] the whole world?
14 If he set [suwm] his heart upon man, if he gathers [‘acaph – take away, remove] unto himself his spirit and his breath;
15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust [the ruin of the former age, from where He was created].
16 If now you have understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words [hear the LORD in me speaking, as from the whirlwind].
17 Shall even he [the evil now in power] that hates right govern? and will you condemn him that is most just?
18 Is it fit [appropriate for you] to say to a king, You are wicked? and to princes, You are ungodly?
19 How much less [appropriate is it then] to him that accept not the persons [positions] of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor [those without worldly power]? for they all are the work of his hands.
20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight [when ignorance is fully risen], and pass away [‘abar – from life into death]: and the mighty [evil in power] shall be taken away without hand.
21 For his [the LORD’s] eyes [as the Chief Overseer] are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his goings.
22 There is no darkness [ignorance], nor shadow [gendering – to regenerate in defined, known, form] of death, where the workers of iniquity [evil misleading] may hide themselves.
23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
25 Therefore he knows their works, and he overturns them in the night [by their own ignorance, end those thinking they’re wise to do evil], so that they are destroyed.
26 He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others [before the whole world where every eye sees it];
27 Because they turned back from him [as dogs to their own vomit], and would not consider any of his ways:
28 So that they cause the cry [tsa’aqah] of the poor [they oppress and abuse] to come unto him, and he hears [shama’ – obeyed: granted their request] the cry [tsa’aqah – the same cry, the petition, the LORD heard from His people in Egypt – see Exodus 3:7 & 9] of the afflicted.
29 When he gives quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hides his face [paniym – His presence], who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation [gowy – those who haven’t known Him], or against a man [‘adam] only [yachad – same word as is rendered “together” in the title verse, here it should read “or against all humanity into which I breathe My life”]:
30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared [in their evil time].
31 Surely it is meet [appropriate] to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement [Your correction], I will not offend any more:
32 That which I see not teach you me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
33 Should it be according to your mind? he will recompense it, whether you refuse, or whether you choose; and not I: therefore speak what you know.
34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken [shama’ – become obedient] unto me.
35 Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers [of self-justification and self-righteousness, trying to prove their ways are right, and, therefore, refusing the LORD’s right ways] for wicked men.
37 For he adds rebellion unto his sin, he claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God.
The word rendered “end,” in verse 36 above, telling of the end of Job’s trials, when, after first hearing the LORD speaking in the words of Elihu, he see the LORD, as in Job 42 (see below), is the word netsach, meaning “a goal, i.e. the bright object at a distance traveled towards; hence (figuratively), splendor, or (subjectively) truthfulness, or (objectively) confidence; but usually (adverbially), continually (i.e. to the most distant point of view [seeing the LORD]).”
Job 36
1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,
2 Suffer me a little, and I will show you that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.
3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar [rachowq – this time when evil rules by unrighteous decree, and the LORD returns understanding at the termination of the darkness and the restoration of light], and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker [who alone knows the right way].
4 For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with you. [Isaiah 41:4 Who has wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I Am he.]
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despises not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
6 He preserves not the life of the wicked: but gives right to the poor [the needy without power to withstand the wicked].
7 He withdraws not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they [the righteous] on the throne; yea, he does establish them forever [netsach – to this end], and they are exalted.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be held in cords of affliction;
9 Then he shows them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded [going beyond the bounds of good].
10 He open also their ear to discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity.
11 If they obey [shama’] and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures [na’iym].
12 But if they obey [shama’] not, they shall perish [‘abar – passover into death] by the sword [this word they reject], and they shall die without knowledge.
13 But the hypocrites in heart [the corrupt in mind] heap up wrath: they cry not when he binds them [by their own iniquity].
14 They die in youth [never putting away childish things], and their life is among the unclean [those ignorant by their corruption].
15 He delivers the poor [those needing strength] in his affliction, and opens their ears [to hear His instructions] in oppression.
16 Even so would he have removed you out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness [no oppression under tyrants]; and that [good way] which should be set on your table should be full of fatness [bring prosperity].
17 But you [who refuse to obey] have fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on you.
18 Because there is wrath [not understanding the LORD is long-suffering in His correction, not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance], beware lest he take you away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver you.
19 Will he esteem your riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
20 Desire not the night [this time when ignorance has prevailed and there is no understanding], when people are cut off [from life] in their place.
21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this [regarding iniquity] have you chosen rather than affliction [that comes with relentless opposition].
22 Behold, God exalts by his power: who teaches like him?
23 Who has enjoined him his way [teaching as He here teaches]? or who can say, You have [with these words] wrought iniquity?
24 Remember that you magnify his work, which men behold.
25 Every man may see it [is the LORD manifesting His presence in us]; man may behold it afar off [rachowq – now in this time when the world is ruled by evil decree].
26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
27 For he makes small the drops of water [His word from heaven]: they pour down rain according to the vapor thereof [the separated elements of understanding that left the earth, reserved there until now when He returns them in distilled form]:
28 Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
29 Also can any understand the spreading [miphrase, meaning expansion, as in the firmament when the word of God is separated from the corruption of man, the distillation, purification process in the exposition – only appearing here and Ezekiel 27:7] of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle [His voice as thunder, the sound of the light]?
30 Behold, he spreads his light [understanding] upon it, and covers the bottom of the sea [the deep meaning hidden in the darkened depths].
31 For by [revealing] them judges he the people; he gives meat in abundance.
32 With clouds he covers the light; and commands it not to shine by the cloud that comes betwixt.
33 The noise [His voice heard in the thunder] thereof shows concerning it [the meat, depth, of His judgment], the cattle [His flock upon whom it is sent] also concerning the vapor [its leaving into, again congealing, and returning from, the cloud where this understanding was held and protected].
Job 42
1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
2 I know that you can do every thing, and that no thought can be withheld from you.
3 [You asked me] “Who is he that hide counsel [by it being] without knowledge?” therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not [And only You know].
4 [You said unto me] “Hear [shama’ – obey my good advice I give as a gift], I beseech you, and I will speak: I will demand of you, and declare [speak] you unto me [the words you have learned from me].”
5 I have heard of [shama’ – obeyed] you by the hearing [shema’] of the ear: but now my eye sees you [obedience fulfilled is expressed in the following revelation].
6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes [the realization of the ignorance, darkness, and death that has come upon all humanity and made the earth without form and void].
The word shema’, which only appears 18 times, means “something heard, i.e. a sound, rumor, announcement; abstractly, audience.” It (shema’) is only used one other time in Job, in Job 28:22, telling of hearing of the “fame” of the wisdom and understanding that is found with finding (seeing) the LORD.
Job 28 [as in the previous post]
20 Whence then comes wisdom? and where is the place of understanding? [They are with the LORD only – Job 38:34 Can you lift up your voice to the clouds {where understanding is held}, that abundance of waters may cover you? 35 Can you send lightnings, that they may go and say unto you, Here we are [[as the LORD has here]]? 36 Who has put wisdom in the inward parts [[giving deep understanding]]? or who has given understanding to the heart [[into the minds of men]]]?
21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.
22 Destruction and death [at the ends of the ages] say, We have heard [shama’ – obeyed] the fame [shema’] thereof with our ears.
23 God [only] understands the way thereof, and he knows the place thereof.
24 For he looks to the ends [qatsah – sees the termination points of the ages] of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven [with full understanding that begins the new];
25 To make the weight for the winds [the influence of His Spirit’s work upon the earth]; and he weighs the waters [His words sent] by measure [this dispensation].
26 When he made a decree [choq – this time He appointed] for the rain [His word from heaven], and a way for the lightning of the thunder [to give full understanding by His voice, His presence manifested in opening what was before closed, to return life to the earth]:
27 Then did he [I Am] see it, and [with His voice] declare it; he prepared it [as a girdle that causes His people to cleave, join, unto only Him], yea, and [He] searched it out [for us, to give it as a gift].
28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
In the word (shema’) the LORD refers us to His good commandments in Exodus 23, where in verse 1, it’s rendered “report.” There it speaks of the ways of the crowd, following the false gods of the world, whose ways are falsehood and injustice (not gendering peace). The chapter (in verse 16) is the only other place the “ingathering” (‘aciyph) is mentioned, which we’ve seen (in Exodus 34:22) comes at the “end” (tquwphah – the “circuit” of the LORD’s glory revealed, at the qatsah: the termination of the age – Psalms 19:6 – see the previous post)
Exodus 23
1 You shall not raise a false report [shema’]: put not your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness [joining them in their lies].
2 You shall not follow a multitude to do evil [as is the way of the world]; neither shall you speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment [as do the wicked of this world]:
3 Neither shall you countenance a poor man in his cause [denying him justice because he lacks the power to do anything about it].
4 If you meet your enemy’s [an adversary’s, competitor’s, ‘oyeb, the same as Job, and in context referring to his so-called friends, as He is sent to them once he sees the LORD] ox or his ass going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.
5 If you see the ass of him that hates you lying under his burden, and would forbear to help him, you shall surely help with him.
6 You shall not wrest [natah – remove] the judgment of your poor [those without power or position] in his cause.
7 Keep you far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay you not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8 And you shall take no gift [shachab – donation, i.e. a bribe]: for the gift [shachab] blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.
9 Also you shall not oppress a stranger: for you know the heart of a stranger, seeing you were strangers in the land of Egypt [where they oppressed you].
10 And six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in the fruits thereof:
11 But the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie still; that the poor of your people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner you shall deal with your vineyard, and with your olive-yard.
12 Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest: that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect [shamar – let them be kept, guarded and protected from corruption]: and make no mention [zakar – remember] of the name [what {lack of peace: death and destruction} marks the identity] of other gods, neither let it be heard [shama’ – obeyed] out of your mouth [repeating their words and ways].
14 Three times you shall keep a feast unto me in the year.
15 You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread [removing any corruption that has risen among you]: (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, in the time appointed [mow’ed] of the month Abib [when your ears have new life]; for in it you came out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of your labors [now when you have become the laborers the LORD of the harvest has sent into His field], which you have sown in the field [this word in the earth]: and the feast of ingathering [‘aciyph – into His ONE BODY], which is in the end of the year, when you have gathered in your labors out of the field.
17 Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the LORD God.
18 You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread [not adding to, corrupting, this word]; neither shall the fat [prospering] of my sacrifice remain [luwn – stop] until the morning [until the light, full understanding, comes].
19 The first [I Am] of the firstfruits [you are] of your land [‘adamah – the people of the LORD’s new creation] you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God. You shall not seethe [nashal – ripen] a kid in his mother’s milk [the childish with words meant for his teachers].
20 Behold, I send an Angel [with MY words] before [paniym – as My presence to] you, to keep [shamar – to guard and protect you from corruption] you in the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared [this new earth into which now flows with milk and honey, that you might know to choose good and refuse evil].
21 Beware of him, and obey [shama’] his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name [identity] is in him.
22 But if you shall indeed obey [shama’] his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto your enemies, and an adversary unto your adversaries.
The word above, in verse 21, rendered “is in him” is qereb, meaning “the nearest part, i.e. the center, whether literal, figurative or adverbial (especially with preposition).” It is the word used, in Exodus 17:7, to describe the temptation, when God’s people asked “Is the LORD among [qereb] us, or not.” As we know, the LORD answered the question with water flowing from a Rock, who we know (from 1 Corinthians 10:4) is Christ (the LORD’s identity manifested in Moses’ flesh).
The “nearness” we also know is what Paul describes to the Athenians at Mars’ Hill.
Exodus 17
17 And all the congregation [all God’s people] of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin [Ciyn – meaning thorns, speaking of the desolation caused by misleaders: which is intended to speak of the cause of rendered homonym], after their journeys [throughout their time in the age of the earth], according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim [the place where they now rest in death]: and [because they were among thorns] there was no water [uncorrupted word of God] for the people to drink.
2 Wherefore [this caused] the people did chide with Moses [who was drawn by God from the corrupt waters], and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide you with me? wherefore do you tempt the LORD [doubt His presence with us in me]?
3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that you have brought us up out of Egypt [out from among our oppressor, where we learned the ways and words of thorns and briers], to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst [for without the word from the mouth of God we will not live]?
4 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
5 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with you of the elders of Israel [teach my teachers]; and your rod, wherewith you smote [nakah – showing them to be what drained their life, making them blind and dumb] the river, take in your hand, and go.
6 Behold, I will stand before you [paniym – manifesting my presence] there upon the rock in Horeb [desert – which was before without water]; and you shall smite [nakah – revealing the life now in the water of] the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel [teaching them the ways of peace that flow from the mouth of the LORD].
7 And he called the name of the place Massah [temptation], and Meribah [strife and contention], because of the chiding [riyb – “a contest (personal or legal),” as competing voices] of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among [qereb] us, or not?
Acts 17
22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill [aerieos pagos – this peak of the war], and said, You men of Athens [named from the Greek goddess of wisdom, meaning “uncertainty,” as in wondering about everything and knowing nothing], I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious [deisidaimonesteros – literally meaning they are afraid to receive the treasures that will strengthen them: giving certainty to the uncertain].
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore you ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is LORD of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined [horizo – from where the sun rises] the times before appointed [protasso – prearranged, prescribed: before written, per ordained], and the bounds [horothesia – laying out the limit: the termination point] of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the LORD [first], if haply they might feel after him [after he has effectually worked in us], and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him [only do] we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring [in whom He will live, if we become His prepared habitation].
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device [enthumesis – only appearing four times, all others rendered “thoughts;” here in context discerned to be men’s fictitious writing].
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent [and purge out the blinding corruption]:
31 Because he has appointed a day [a sun rising, after the darkness: ignorance], in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained [horizo – who is the place from where the sun rises, beginning this new day: age]; whereof he has given assurance unto all men, in that he has raised him from the dead [out of confusion, out of hell, into life in heaven: full understanding].
32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear you again of this matter.
Matthew 12
14 Then the Pharisees [the religious leaders, Christian and Jew, who scatter the sheep] went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all [of the blinding corruption];
16 And charged them that they should not make him known [only making His word known, from here where He speaks to the ignorant and the enlightened, as the sun rising upon all who come out of confusion into His light]:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles [those who don’t know it is My presence working and speaking].
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets [but only from this writing from which He roars, as the shout of the LORD’s archangel].
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he sends forth judgment unto victory.
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil [mind held captive in the ignorance learned from the corrupt], blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.
23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
24 But when the Pharisees [who’ve scattered the LORD’s ONE BODY] heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts [enthumesis], and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
28 But if I cast out devils [the misleader mixed among us doing Satan’s work, who are as the flies seen hovering over their dung hills] by the Spirit of God [the LORD in me working and speaking unknown, as He remains to these accusers], then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s [corrupt] house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man [the unrepentant misleaders therein]? and then he will spoil his house.
30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathers not [into My ONE BODY] with me scatters abroad.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy [vilifying and demonizing, like calling Him Beelzebub] against the Holy Ghost [the LORD working and speaking unknown] shall not be forgiven unto men [because they choose to remain in darkness, because their deeds are evil].
32 And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world [age now ending], neither in the [new] world to come.
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is [as a man is] known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.
Hebrews 3
12 Take heed [hear and obey His voice], brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day [this time when light has surely come]; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin [the blinding errors that before held you].
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence [hearing Him] steadfast unto the end [entering His presence; where we see Him];
15 While it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in [into His presence] because of unbelief.
Hebrews 4
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day [this day, this time of the LORD’s light returning].
9 There remain therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labor [doing the work to which He has called us] therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief [not receiving this word as His voice].
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts [enthumesis] and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature [any creation of God or man] that is not manifest [discerned] in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him [the LORD alive in me, in us – I and the children the LORD has given me: in who the light is – if they speak not according to this word it’s because there is no light, no understand that is life, in them] with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens [into the place of full understanding], Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in] the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession [that it is Him alive in us speaking and working].
15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted [to doubt the Father’s presence] like as we are, yet [removing doubt, is] without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy [in the conversation at His mercy seat, in His presence], and find grace [this gift of these treasures] to help in time of need.
Isaiah 8
13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself [declare the holy one, the man of war, in whom He lives]; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a Rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hides [in plain sight] his face [paniym – presence] from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwells in mount Zion.
19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits [the known dead, speaking and working the ways that lead to death], and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? [should they keep looking] for the living to the dead?
20 [Shouldn’t they be looking] To the [this] law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry [without this word from the mouth of God]: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king [I Am] and their God, and look upward [ignorantly looking into the darkness, for understanding where it isn’t].
22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven [by their ignorance] to darkness [the mass insanity that follows their mass delusions: their refusal to accept this word as the word from the mouth of God as it is in reality].
The word rendered “rest” in Hebrews 3 & 4 above, speaking of the place only believers, by their own faith, enter, is katapausis, meaning “reposing down, i.e. (by Hebraism) abode:–rest.” Other than these two chapters (Hebrews 3 & 4), it only appears one time, in Acts 7:49, which leads us into its (this place in the LORD) deeper meaning.
Acts 7
48 Howbeit the Most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as says the prophet,
49 Heaven is my throne [full understanding in the minds of men], and earth is my footstool [where my feet rest: in men, with man walking upon it]: what house will you build me? says the LORD: or what is the place of my rest [katapausis]?
50 Has not my hand made all these things?
51 You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart [in mind] and ears [refusing to hear this word as My word], you do always resist the Holy Ghost [the LORD with us working unknown]: as your fathers did, so do you.
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One [I Am]; of whom you have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 Who have received the law by the disposition [diatage – meaning “[orderly] arrangement, i.e. institution:–instrumentality;” only appearing elsewhere in Romans 13:2] of angels, and have not kept it.
Romans 13
1 Let every soul be subject [hupotasso – under what is ordained] unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained [tasso] of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resists [antitassomai – opposing my ordained authority] the power [His authority given to me], resists [anthistemi – opposes the rising of] the ordinance [diatage – the institution of this disposition] of God: and they that resist [anthistemi – oppose the rising of His government] shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For [Godly] rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Will you then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and you shall have praise of the same:
4 For he is [I Am] the minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that does evil. [2 Timothy 3:8 & 9; Now as Jannes and Jambres {the priests of Egypt, who tried to keep God’s people from leaving the place of oppression} withstood {anthistemi} Moses, so do these also resist {anthistemi} the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.]
5 Wherefore you must need be subject [hupotasso], not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake [the necessary change of mind].
6 For for this cause pay you tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.
8 Owe no man any thing [be not obligated to show favor, letting good judgment be corrupted, toward the those who have given these dues], but to love [agapao – Godly charity, giving this word, which the world needs, as received] one another: for he that loveth [agapao – shows Godly charity to] another has fulfilled the law.
9 For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, You shall love [agapao] your neighbor as yourself [giving this word as you received it].
10 Love [agape] works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love [agape] is the fulfilling of the law.
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer [the nearness spoken of above] than when we believed [now receiving what was before only hoped for].
12 The night [the time of ignorance] is far spent, the day is at hand [this light has come]: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness [ignorance], and let us put on [enduo] the armor of light [this understanding with which is our protection in this war against ignorance].
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put you on [enduo] the LORD Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Colossians 3
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on [enduo] the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on [enduo] therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.
14 And above all these things put on charity [agape – giving this word as received], which is the bond of perfectness [teleotes – meaning “(the state) completeness (mentally or morally):–perfection(-ness)”].
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts [as the firm foundation of your minds], to the which also you are called in ONE BODY; and be you thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing [repeating these words, with me, as written] with grace in your hearts [a gift written into your minds] to the LORD.
17 And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name [identity] of the LORD Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
1 Corinthians 10
1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that you should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be you idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ [doubting the LORD’s presence with us, in us], as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents [the misleaders among us].
10 Neither murmur you, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends [the termination of the old age and the beginning of the new] of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he stand take heed [hear Him speaking and obey Him] lest he fall.
13 There has no temptation [doubting the LORD’s presence] taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry [the blinding creation of this corrupt world].
15 I speak as to wise men; judge you what I say.
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ [joining the LORD in His sacrifice]? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ [joining into the full body of His work, breaking and distributing it to those in need]?
17 For we being many are one bread, and ONE BODY: for we are all partakers of that one bread [this word from the mouth of the LORD, by which men live].
18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles [those who don’t know the LORD] sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils [those who’ve misled them], and not to God: and I would not that you should have fellowship with devils.
21 You cannot drink the cup of the LORD, and the cup of devils: you cannot be partakers of the LORD’s table, and of the table of devils.
1 Corinthians 15
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit [bringing the dead to life].
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the LORD from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed [allasso – at the creation of the new heaven, earth, and man in them],
52 In a moment, in the twinkling [enlightening] of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on [enduo] incorruption, and this mortal must put on [enduo] immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on [enduo] incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on [enduo] immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
Isaiah 66
1 Thus says the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things has my hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.
3 [In this time when all religion is corrupt] He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delight in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear [shama’ – obey]: but they did evil before my eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear [shama’ – obey] the word of the LORD, you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise from the city [Heavenly New Jerusalem], a voice from the temple [My ONE BODY in which I dwell], a voice of the LORD that renders recompense [a deserved repayment] to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who has heard [shama’ – and obeyed] such a thing? who has [thereby] seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day [when this light has come]? or shall a [new] nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God.
10 Rejoice you with [heavenly New] Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her:
11 That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall you suck, you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
13 As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and you shall be comforted in [led into all truth, into Heavenly New] Jerusalem.
14 And when you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind [from where His voice is heard changing the face of the earth], to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire [in the word from His mouth heard from His people when their obedience is perfected].
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They [now when all religion is corrupted] that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations [who haven’t known Me] and tongues [speaking corruption]; and they shall come, and [every eye shall] see my glory.
19 And I will set a sign [‘owth] among them, and I will send those that escape [paliyt – escape death and darkness, removing doubt] of them unto the nations [who haven’t know Me], to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off [rachowq – this time when the world is blinded, dumb, and ruled by evil decree], that have not heard [shama’ – or obeyed] my fame [shema’ – this report], [therefore they] neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare [My people in whose mind I have written this word] my glory among the Gentiles.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain [Heavenly New] Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, says the LORD.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the LORD.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm [their animated dead flesh] shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Psalms 82
1 God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the gods.
2 How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High.
7 But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for you shall inherit all nations.
Psalms 18
1 I will love you, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my Rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.
4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard [shama’] my voice [and granted my petition and did what I asked] out of his temple [His ONE BODY], and my cry came before him [paniym – manifested His presence], even into his ears.
7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness [the earth covered in ignorance] was under his feet.
10 And he rode upon a cherub [I Am – His archangel, chief messenger, manifesting His presence in the conversation above His mercy seat, to those who become His messengers], and did fly: yea, he did fly [as an eagle] upon the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness [men’s ignorance] his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters [unknown meanings in His word] and thick clouds [where understanding is held] of the skies.
12 At the brightness [His understanding sent] that was before him his thick clouds passed [‘abar – and caused the dead to Passover into life], hail stones [His understanding that was frozen in the cloud sent] and [were as] coals of fire [heaped upon the heads of His enemies].
13 The LORD also thundered [the voice of the light in the cloud] in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 Then the channels of waters [this life-giving word heard flowing from Him] were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.
16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me [as He did Moses] out of many waters [of corruption].
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity [the termination wrought by their ways, before this light came]: but the LORD was my stay.
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from my iniquity.
24 Therefore has the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful; with an upright man you will show yourself upright;
26 With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the froward you will show yourself froward.
27 For you will save the afflicted people; but will bring down high looks [of the arrogant].
28 For you will light my candle [give me understanding showing the way]: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 For by you I have run through a troop [the evil army of darkness]; and by my God have I leaped over a wall [of lies].
30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
32 It is God that girds [prepares] me with strength, and makes my way perfect.
33 He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me upon my high places.
34 He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.
35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand holds me up, and your gentleness has made me great.
36 You have enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
37 I have pursued my enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
39 For you have girded [prepared] me with strength unto the battle: you have subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 You have also given me the necks of my enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; and you have made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44 As soon as they hear [shema’ – the report] of me, they shall obey [shama’] me: the strangers [who haven’t known Me] shall submit themselves unto me.
45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places [their closed minds that think they know all].
46 The LORD lives; and blessed be my Rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me.
48 He delivers me from my enemies: yea, you lift me up above those that rise up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.
49 Therefore will I give thanks unto you, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto your name.
50 Great deliverance gives he to his king; and shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
