Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
In the above verse, Isaiah 40:28, the LORD speaks of the end and beginning of ages, creations only He knows, understanding only given as His gift. The end is of the earth when man upon it becomes weary and faints. The new begins with His understanding revealed as light into the darkness, giving strength to those who before didn’t know. The strengthened are the obedient who become, by choosing to hear and obey, His new creations, Adam in their time, into whom He has breathed life (His Spirit, mind, making them His children).
The LORD begins this revelation in the word qatsah, rendered “ends” above, meaning “a termination:” the circuit of ages: starting at the termination of the former and terminating at the creation of the next.
Isaiah 40
21 Have you not known? have you not heard [shama’ – obeyed]? has it not been told you from the beginning [ro’sh – first used in Genesis 2:10 in telling of the river {carrying this word of God} that went out from Eden, and was first divided into four “heads”]? have you not understood from the foundations [mowcadah – as in 2 Samuel 22:16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations {mowcadah} of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.”] of the earth?
22 It is he that sits upon the circle [chuwg, only appearing elsewhere in Job 22:14 and Proverbs 8:27, respectively speaking of the “circuit” of heaven where God walks, and wisdom, who is understanding, saying “When he {God} prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass {chuwg} upon the face of {paniym – the LORD’s presence in} the depth”] of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers [eating up the life He gave in His word understood]; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain [from behind which I come with understanding], and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in:
23 That brings the princes to nothing; he makes the judges of the earth as vanity [worthless].
24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown [in My new earth]: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind [His Almighty Spirit, from where His voice is heard] shall take them away as stubble.
25 To whom then will you liken me, or shall I be equal? says the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who has created [bara’] these things, that brings out their host [as an army] by number: he calls [qara’] them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one fails [‘adar – meaning “to arrange, as a battle, a vineyard (to hoe); hence, to muster and so to miss (or find wanting),” meaning, none, when inspected, are found lacking].
27 Why say you, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way [corrupted over time] is hid from the LORD, and my judgment [corrupted through the age] is passed over [‘abar – is life from death] from my God?
28 Have you not known [haven’t you not known]? have you not heard [shama’ – haven’t you not obeyed], that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator [bara’] of the ends [qatsah] of the earth, faints not, neither is weary [in restoring the foundations by correction]? there is no searching of [cheqer – if the searching is for your own glory, as in Proverbs 25:27] his understanding [it is only given as His gift to those who first seek Him and His kingdom].
29 He gives power to the faint [in whom His word effectually works]; and to them that have no might he increases strength [by understanding].
30 Even the youths [children refusing to put away childish things] shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait [qavah – to join Him in His ONE BODY] upon the LORD shall renew their strength [understanding, the foundation of the new earth]; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
The word cheqer (rendered “searching” in Isaiah 40:28 above) only appears one other time in Proverbs, once in the Psalms, seven times in Job, and once in Judges. All speak of seeking greatness and glory (His and ours) that can only come as a gift (treasures: grace) from God, when seeking His glory and kingdom first.
Matthew 6
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things [their own glory and greatness: worldly treasure and power] do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God [that comes with eating and drinking this full body of His work, and it rules in your mind], and his righteousness [with which you are thereby clothed]; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient [enough] unto the day is [this light that has come, to overcome] the evil [lack of these things] thereof.
In Judges 5:16, the word (cheqer) first appears saying, that because of the divisions of Reuben (the pattern of the sons of perdition, the first misleading son, patterning those who put themselves in their Father’s place), there was great “searching” of heart (minds wandering away from the Father after their own ways and ideas).
Job 8
5 If thou would seek unto God betimes [first], and make your supplication to the Almighty;
6 If thou were pure and upright; surely now he would awake for your, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
7 Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end [‘achariyth – in these last days] should greatly increase.
8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers [seeking God’s glory and His righteousness, and not their own, ending corruption, beginning the new age]:
9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow [covered in the ignorance that came upon us]:)
10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart [from their minds after corruption ended their age, and of how the new age began]?
The termination points of the ages (qatsah, appearing thirty-six times) are described in many similitudes, the first of which comes in Exodus 25, describing the mercy seat. The next appears in Exodus 26, speaking of the “selvedge” of the coupling of curtains of the temple (as the earth’s ages joined by ends).
Exodus 25
16 And you shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you.
17 And you shall make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
18 And you shall make two cherubims of gold [through and to which the testimony comes; as in Daniel 12:5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank {saphah} of the river, and the other on that side of the bank {saphah} of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end {qets} of these wonders {the time of not understanding}?], of beaten work shall you make them, in the two ends [qatsah] of the mercy seat.
19 And make one cherub on the one end [qatsah], and the other cherub on the other end [qatsah]: even of the mercy seat shall you make the cherubims on the two ends [qatsah] thereof.
20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high [as eagels], covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces [paniym – manifesting the LORD’s presence in the conversation, repeating the testimony as received from the ark] of the cherubims be.
21 And you shall put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you.
22 And there [in the conversation] I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment unto the children of Israel.
Exodus 26
4 And you shall make loops of blue upon the edge [saphah – bank of this river] of the one curtain [from behind which comes the hidden things] from the selvedge [qatsah] in the coupling [joining these ages]; and likewise shall you make in the uttermost edge [saphap – the other bank, also meaning lips, in context showing it’s the time when the voice of God as heard as His from the flesh] of another curtain [when the times of wondering are ended], in the coupling of the second [beginning the new age].
The curtain sections in Exodus 26 are the same numbers as in 1 Kings 6:24 when telling of the size of the wings of the cherubims. These wings of the covering, the veil of flesh, from where the LORD reveals himself in His revelation: the uncovering, the apocalypse of things only He knows.
1 Kings 6
27 And five [grace – the gift] cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five [grace – the gift] cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost [qatsah] part of the one wing unto the uttermost [qatsah] part of the other were ten [ordinal perfection – when all things are rightly ordered] cubits.
Job, in Job 26, speaks of these things only the LORD knows and reveals, in the context of Him asking, in Isaiah 40:25, “To whom then will you liken me, or shall I be equal? says the Holy One.”
Job 26
2 How have you [as the LORD has] helped him that is without power? how save you the arm that has no strength?
3 How have you counseled him that has no wisdom? and how have you plentifully declared the thing as it is?
4 To whom have you uttered words? and whose spirit came from you?
5 Dead things are formed from under the waters [when the deep becomes darkened], and the inhabitants thereof [die].
6 Hell [their habitation] is naked before him, and destruction has no covering.
7 He stretches out the north [revealing the darkness] over the empty place [tohuw – “without form” of Genesis 1:2 & Jeremiah 4:23, which the earth became and has become; and the “confusion” of Isaiah 34:11], and hangs [suspends the progress of] the earth upon nothing [the void – of understanding].
8 He binds up the waters in his thick clouds [where understanding is suspended, held in separated elements when it left the earth]; and the cloud is not rent under them [not sending it again to the earth, until the appointed time].
9 He holds back the face [paniym – the presence] of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it [as a curtain behind which it is hidden].
10 He has compassed [chuwg – differing word, meaning the same {full circuit}, and only appearing here] the waters with bounds [choq – His decreed appointed time], until the day and night [the time of light tuned to darkness – the full circle of the age] come to an end [takliyth – only used five times, meaning “completion; by implication, an extremity:–end, perfect(-ion)”].
11 The pillars [the established places where understanding should be found] of heaven tremble [so the wicked are shaken from them] and are astonished [tamahh – suddenly dumbfounded] at his reproof.
12 He divides the sea [separating humanity from those who’ve led them into darkness and hold them there in death and hell] with his power, and by his understanding he smites through the proud.
13 By his spirit he has garnished [shiphrah – only found here, meaning to fully furnished with light] the heavens; his hand [His work] has formed [chalal – wounded or dissolved] the crooked serpent [the misleaders who now flee away, as serpents slithering through the ruin they’ve made the earth].
14 Lo, these are parts [qatsah – the ends of ages] of his ways: but how little a portion is heard [shama’ – is obeyed] of him? but the thunder [this voice of lightning] of his power who can understand [biyn]?
This time when the voice of lightning is heard again is what John understood, and, in Revelation 10, the LORD in him working, depicted perfectly.
The following, ending with Isaiah 26, is from the post of 24 June 2022, (with today’s additions in double brackets):
In Genesis 9:13 & 14, it (‘owth) is the “sign” the LORD put in the cloud (where understanding is held when it leaves the earth), which is the rainbow, the light in the firmament rightly divided into many colors, as Joseph’s coat (garment of light rightly divided). As we understand, when John sees it (the rainbow) now appearing, it is accompanied by the seven thunders, the voice of understanding permitted to be spoken only by the one whose right it is to rule (because it’s the Father’s anointing and crowning the son).
Revelation 10
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud [[where understanding is held when it left the earth]]: and a rainbow was upon his head [[the light rightly divided into seven colors, which is understanding in his mind]], and his face was as it were the sun [[The LORD’s presence in him as the brightest light in heaven]], and his feet as pillars of fire [[his way is as the LORD’s consuming fire]]:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open [[the written word of God]]: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars [[as the voice of the archangel spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 4:16]]: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not [[because they are understanding reserved from this moment, revealing the LORD’s presence in the son He chooses]].
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And swore by him that lives for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished [[the time of wonder is ended]], as he has declared to his servants the prophets.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which stands upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make your belly bitter, but it shall be in your mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter [[knowing I must regurgitate what I have eaten]].
11 And he said unto me, You must prophesy again [[regurgitate – repeat the words a received]] before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
After Moses, in Genesis 9, tells of the rainbow, he then tells of the sons of Noah (represent all humanity), and Japheth (representing the third part of the people in who would reside the deceiving spirit and carry the mark [[the ‘owth]], doing the work, of Cain).
Genesis 9
27 God shall enlarge [pathah] Japheth [from the word pathah], and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan [the children of Ham] shall be his servant.
What happens when these enticing deceivers are followed as gods, in God’s place, is self-destruction. But the LORD always makes an escape, sending a messenger He raises up from among His people, and in him, through His willing sacrifice He prepares for Himself, He illuminates salvation.
Exodus 22
16 And if a man entice [pathah] a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow [pay the price to purchase] her to be his wife.
Deuteronomy 11
16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived [pathah], and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
17 And then the LORD’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest you perish quickly from off the good land [earth] which the LORD gives you.
18 Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign [‘owth] upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes [[here we see the “mark” is the words in the mind and the resulting works of the hand – these are the enticements of good and evil, truth and lies, showing which possesses you]].
19 And you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lay down, and when you rise up.
The word (pathah) next appears, in Judges 14:15 & 16:5, as Samson’s (like the sun) wife, “entices” him, first to expound on the riddle he posed and next to reveal the source of his strength. The riddle, as we understand, gives the source, the light in him (like from the sun), coming out of His head (like hair), as the word of God in His mouth as sweet as honey. As we know, the honey came from the carcass of a lion (the written word remaining with the once strong now dead body of Christ), like Samson, the light in him extinguished by the enticers, until his hair, the strength coming from his mind, returned.
1 Kings 22
19 And he said, Hear you, therefore, the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade [pathah] Ahab [meaning he is his father’s brother – a spiritual reference to the seed of Reuben, who defiled his father’s bed, and referring to those who put themselves in God’s place], that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead [when God’s word is raised up and fulfilled]? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade [pathah] him.
22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, You shall persuade [pathah] him, and prevail also: go forth, and do [‘asah] so.
23 Now, therefore, behold [see – understand], the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets, and the LORD has spoken evil concerning you.
24 But Zedekiah [those claiming they have Jehovah’s righteousness while they are in fact false prophets and the children of Cain] the son of Chenaanah [Cain – marked by misleading and violence against those in whom the LORD delights] went near, and smote Micaiah [who is like Jehovah] on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto you?
25 And Micaiah [who is like Jehovah] said, Behold, you shall see in that day, when you shall go into an inner chamber to hide yourself.
The Hebrew word rendered “inner” and “chamber” is cheder, and refers elsewhere to the place where the LORD hides those he protects from His wrath. The word rendered “hide yourself” is chabah, which is only used four other times.
There is only one safe place, which is with the LORD, with His ONE MIND and BODY.
The false prophets and the false teachers are misled by their own lusts. Leaving them (their creations) behind is the only way they can be saved (because in choosing to keep them, they blaspheme the LORD unknown to them, speaking and working to save them).
1 Corinthians 3
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16 Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
Ezekiel 14
3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling-block of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus says the LORD God; Every man of the house of Israel that sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that comes according to the multitude of his idols;
5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus says the LORD God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourns in Israel, which separates himself from me, and sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
8 And I will set my face [presence] against that man, and will make him a sign [‘owth] and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
9 And if the prophet be deceived [pathah] when he has spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived [pathah] that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeks unto him;
11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the LORD God.
Isaiah 26
16 LORD, in trouble have they visited you, they poured out a prayer when your chastening was upon them.
17 Like as a woman with child, that draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in your sight, O LORD.
18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
19 Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, you that dwell in dust: for your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter you into your chambers [cheder], and shut your doors about you: hide [chabah] yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
The word qatsah is only used one other time in Job, in Job 28:24, a chapter that (in similitude) begins by telling of seeking what (the LORD’s treasure) is buried in the earth and refining it (with consuming fire) of impurities (corruption) with which it is mixed.
Job 28
1 Surely there is a vein [hidden in the earth] for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it [refine it with fire].
2 Iron [strength in understanding] is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.
3 He [the LORD] sets an end [qets] to darkness [ignorance – wondering and not knowing, about what is present, hidden in earthly corruption], and searches out all perfection [takliyth – the end of the circuit, as in its only other use in Job, in Job 26:10 above]: the [ending of] stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.
4 The flood breaks out from the inhabitant [the words of ignorance prevail when understanding is corrupted and hidden therein]; even the waters forgotten of the foot [the word of God, hidden along the way, through time]: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
5 As for the earth, out of it comes bread [the fully leavened, corrupted, body of men’s works]: and under it [confusions rule] is turned up as it were fire.
6 The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it has dust of gold [treasures hidden in the earth’s ruin].
7 There is a path [to reaching these treasures] which no fowl [those in places where understanding should] knows, and which the vulture’s [those in these places feeding on the carcass of the dead body of Christ] eye has not seen:
8 The lion’s whelps have not trodden it [this path], nor the fierce lion passed [‘adah – been adorned, furnished] by it.
9 He [the LORD] puts forth his hand [His work] upon the rock [from where His word flows as treasure from heaven]; he overturns the mountains [the governments, corrupted and corrupting institutions of church and state] by the roots [their foundations that hold them in the earth].
10 He cuts out rivers [for His word to flow into the sea, humanity at large] among the rocks [others upon whom He works, from which His water will also flow as received]; and his eye sees every precious thing.
11 He binds the floods [of earthly corruption] from overflowing; and the thing that is hid [therein] brings he forth to light [giving understanding only He has].
12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? [The answer is given in Proverbs 8:27, saying they are with the LORD, His dwelling place, where He walks through the circuits, ages, of the earth.]
13 Man knows not the price thereof [the field of Anothoth, the LORD’s answering those who’ve petitioned Him]; neither is it found in the land of the living [it only comes as a gift, the price of which is the life of the one sent to deliver it].
14 The depth [of the earth] says, It is not in me: and the sea [all humanity] says, It is not with me.
15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
19 The topaz of Ethiopia [all the treasures of those covered in darkness] shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
20 Whence then comes wisdom? and where is the place of understanding? [They are with the LORD only – Job 38: 34 Can you lift up your voice to the clouds {where understanding is held}, that abundance of waters may cover you? 35 Can you send lightnings, that they may go and say unto you, Here we are? 36 Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? or who has given understanding to the heart?]
21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.
22 Destruction and death [the ends of the ages] say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
23 God [only] understands the way thereof, and he knows the place thereof.
24 For he looks to the ends [qatsah – sees the termination points of the ages] of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven [with full understanding that begins the new];
25 To make the weight for the winds [the influence of His Spirit’s work upon the earth]; and he weighs the waters [His words sent] by measure [this dispensation].
26 When he made a decree [choq – this time He appointed] for the rain [His word from heaven], and a way for the lightning of the thunder [to give full understanding by His voice, His presence manifested in opening what was before closed, to return life to the earth]:
27 Then did he [I Am] see it, and [with His voice] declare it; he prepared it [as a girdle that causes His people to cleave, join, unto only Him], yea, and [He] searched it out [for us, to give it as a gift].
28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Hebrews 10
5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared me [flesh in which He manifests His presence, unknown as the Paraclete {the Comforter}, the Holy Ghost, leading us away from darkness {ignorance} into His marvelous light {full understanding}, as in the name Nehemiah meaning Jehovah’s Comforter]:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do your will [that none would perish but that all would come to salvation], O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by [as the prescription of] the law [foreshadowing the One coming];
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do your will, O God. He takes away the first [the shadow of ignorance of the underlying deep meaning], that he may establish the second [full understanding in the Father’s presence].
10 By the which will we are sanctified [made holy, purified from pollution] through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh] once for all.
11 And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. [The word here rendered “take away” is the four times used word periaireo {peri haireomai} – referring us to its use in 2 Corinthians 3:16, when the veil of ignorance of the Old Testament is “taken away,” now when we have turned to {returned to seeing} the LORD, the Father manifested in the flesh, as in Moses, as in Christ the perpetual son of ONE God in him leading His people into salvation]:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God [from where he now exhibits the Father’s power in us and through us];
13 From henceforth expecting [ekdechomai – waiting expectantly, tarrying, long-suffering until He is again seen] till his enemies [whose pervading ignorance] be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he has perfected forever them that are sanctified [by it cleared of all corruption that blinded their minds].
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost [the Father, ONE God, unknown speaking and working] also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before [in Jeremiah 31:31 – 34],
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”
18 Now where remission [aphesis – freedom, which comes from the LORD shedding His blood: His voice speaking better things than Abel, which voice is now shaking heaven and earth, and the wicked shall be shaken from them: the voice we are warned not to ignore] of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter [the presence of God above His mercy seat] into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way [by the resurrection from death], which he has consecrated [egkainizo – inaugurated by His blood testament – the word only appearing one other time, Hebrews 9:18, where it is rendered, “testament was dedicated” {by “blood”}] for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having a high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together [into His ONE BODY], as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that has said [in Deuteronomy 32:35 & 36], Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, says the LORD. And again, The LORD shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after you were illuminated [given this understanding], you endured a great fight of afflictions [at the hand of those denying and mocking the LORD at His appearing and kingdom];
33 Partly, whilst you were made a gazing-stock [held up for public ridicule] both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst you became companions of them that were so used.
34 For you had compassion [had sympathy when I was publicly mocked] of me in my bonds [in this prison, the pit of mire stirred by the feet of evil doers: misleaders and false accusers: known liars telling known lies], and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods [the worthless ways and ideas the world says are valuable], knowing in yourselves that you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance [these treasures God has given us, and the eternal and abundant life they produce: as fruit].
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which [faith in the LORD and believing His promises] has great recompence of reward.
36 For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith [in the Father]: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back [into corruption] unto perdition; but of them that believe [the Father] to the saving of the soul.
Proverbs 8
1 Does not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice [declaring the presence of the LORD with us even before the creation of this age: heaven and earth renewed]?
2 She stands in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths [which none but the LORD know].
3 She cries at the gates [out of death and hell], at the entry of the city [Heavenly New Jerusalem], at the coming in at the doors [of those who hear Him and open].
4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O you simple, understand wisdom: and, you fools, be you of an understanding heart.
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips [saphah – this bank of the river].
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understands, and right to them that find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
11 For wisdom is [treasure] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions [men’s evil misleading creations: ignorance and deception they call wisdom].
13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I [true wisdom] hate.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
18 Riches and honor are with me; yea, durable [heavenly] riches and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world [the ruin of the previous age].
27 When he [the LORD God] prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass [chuwg] upon the face of the depth [beginning and ending with His presence manifested in revealing Himself with deep understanding]:
28 When he established the clouds above [where His understanding is held]: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep [by teaching that flowed only from Him]:
29 When he gave to the sea [humanity] his decree [choq – the appointed time], that the waters should not pass [‘abar – bring them from death into life, by obeying] his commandment: when he appointed [chaqaq] the foundations [mowcadah] of the earth:
30 Then I was by him, as one brought up [from the darkened deep] with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him [paniym – in His presence manifested thereby];
31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
32 Now therefore hearken [shama’ – obey] unto me, O you children [born by His correction and become His habitation in the renewed earth]: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
33 Hear [shama’ – obey] instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
34 Blessed is the man that hears [shama’ – obeys] me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 For whoso finds me finds life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD.
36 But he that sins against me wrongs his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
After Job, the only other times the word qatsah appears, besides Isaiah 40:28, are Psalms 19:6 & 65:8, Isaiah 41:5 & 8, Jeremiah 49:36, and Ezekiel 15:4 (all below).
Psalms 19
1 The heavens [His wisdom and full understanding] declare the glory [the manifested presence] of God; and the firmament shows his handywork [His work in this full exposition].
2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end [qatseh] of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun [the return of the brightest light in the heavens],
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end [qatseh] of the heaven, and his circuit [tquwphap – only used three other times, all speaking of the end of the years; the first of these in Exodus 34:22, saying “And you shall observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end {tquwphah}.”] unto the ends [gatsah – this termination of the age] of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof [His consuming fire].
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his [own] errors? cleanse you me from secret faults [of ignorance].
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them [thing wrongly presumed] not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression [denying Your presence and refusing Your correction].
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer [paying the price to deliver this gift of life].
Isaiah 41
1 Keep silence before me, O islands [places without My word]; and let the people renew their strength [understanding]: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
2 Who raised up the righteous man from the east [as the rising sun], called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword [this word from the mouth of the LORD], and as driven stubble to his bow.
3 He pursued them, and passed [‘abar – Passed over from death into life] safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.
4 Who has wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I Am he.
5 The isles [the places that were without your word] saw it, and feared; the ends [qatsah – the termination of the age] of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.
6 They helped everyone his neighbor; and everyone said to his brother, Be of good courage.
7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smoothed with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the soldering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved. [Isaiah 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says, I cannot; for it is sealed: 12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says, I am not learned. 13 Wherefore the LORD said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: 14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. 15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? and who knows us?]
8 But you, Israel, are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
9 You whom I have taken from the ends [qatsah] of the earth, and called you from the chief men thereof [the so-called wise men of the earth whose heart is far from me], and said unto you, You are my servant; I have chosen you, and not cast you away.
10 Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against you shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with you shall perish.
12 You shall seek them, and shall not find them, even them that contended with you: they that war against you shall be as nothing, and as a thing of naught.
13 For I the LORD your God will hold your right hand, saying unto you, Fear not; I will help you.
14 Fear not, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel; I will help you, says the LORD, and your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Behold, I will make you a new sharp threshing instrument [for My harvest] having teeth: you shall thresh the mountains [the corrupt governments of church and state], and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff [separated from the wheat].
Isaiah 29
18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall [marvelously] see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
Jeremiah 49
34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam [all humanity throughout eternity] in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah [Jehovah’s righteousness in His leaders], saying,
35 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam [their rulers throughout eternity], the chief of their might.
36 And upon Elam [all humanity throughout eternity] will I bring the four winds [of all the false doctrines before] from the four quarters [qatsah – the termination, the end of the age] of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, says the LORD; and I will send the sword [this word they refuse] after them, till I have consumed them [with My fire]:
38 And I will set my throne in Elam [over all eternity], and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, says the LORD.
39 But it shall come to pass [hayah – it shall become] in the latter days [‘achariyth – the last days of darkness upon the earth], that I will bring again the captivity of Elam [over the minds of those throughout all eternity], says the LORD.
Ezekiel 15
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?
3 Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work [by their carpenters who make their idols]? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
4 Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devours both the ends [qatsah – ending the old and beginning the new age] of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet [fit] for any work?
5 Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire has devoured it, and it is burned?
6 Therefore thus says the LORD God; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
7 And I will set my face [paniym – presence] against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and you shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face [paniym – presence] against them.
8 And I will make the land [‘erets – the earth] desolate, because they have committed a trespass, says the LORD God [the King of kings and LORD of lords].
Psalms 65
1 Praise waits for you, O God, in Zion: and unto you shall the vow be performed.
2 O you that hears prayer, unto you shall all flesh come.
3 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, you shall purge them away [by fire].
4 Blessed is the man whom you choose, and cause to approach unto you, that he may dwell in your courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, even of your holy temple.
5 By terrible things in righteousness will you answer [‘anah] us, O God of our salvation; who are the confidence of all the ends [qetsev] of the earth, and of them that are afar off [rachowq – this time when the earth is ruled by evil decree] upon the sea [upon all humanity]:
6 Which by his strength [by His understanding returned] set fast the mountains [the governments of the new earth]; being girded with power [Your word effectually working to change their minds]:
7 Which stills the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts [qatsah – the termination of the age] are afraid at your tokens [‘owth – the mark upon their heads and hands]: you make the outgoings of the morning and evening [the exit of the full age] of to rejoice.
9 You visit [as the Chief Overseer of] the earth, and water it [with Your word from heaven]: you greatly enrich it with [the treasures of] the river of God [Your word flowing into the sea: humanity at large], which is full of water: you preparest them corn [dagan – to prosper], when you have so provided for it.
10 You water the ridges thereof abundantly: you settle the furrows thereof [the earth You’ve redeemed]: you make it soft with showers: you bless the springing thereof.
11 You crown the year with your goodness; and your paths drop fatness.
12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
