Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:
The LORD continues today, above in Ezekiel 16:35, speaking to His people who’ve now descended into complete confusion (Babylon’s end in insanity’s rule) by first leaving Him and following men teaching their own creations. They, while prospering under him, progressively descended into hedonism, oppression (as Egypt), and communism (as Assyria), wherein they are without peace and security, stripped naked, helplessly exposed to the corrupt foundational elements (rudiments) of the world, now totally debased (church and state institutions, now teaching that the only evil is those rightly judging good and evil, whom they, the wicked, define as haters all should hate – true hate is misleading people and then leaving them there in the hell and self-destruction into which they led) and maliciously debauched, are at war with any remnant of reality and good judgment.
Ezekiel 16
30 How weak is your heart [mind], says the LORD God, seeing you do all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;
31 In that you build your eminent place in the head of every way, and make your high place in every street [teaching and propagating weak minds]; and have not been as a harlot, in that you scorn hire [not selling your souls but freely giving them ways into death];
32 But as a wife that commits adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!
33 They give gifts to all whores: but you give your gifts to all your lovers, and hire them, that they may come unto you on every side for your whoredom.
34 And the contrary is in you from other women in your whoredoms, whereas none follow you to commit whoredoms: and in that you give a reward, and no reward is given unto you, therefore you are contrary.
35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear [shama’ – obey] the word of the LORD:
36 Thus says the LORD God; Because your filthiness was poured out, and your nakedness discovered through your whoredoms with your lovers, and with all the idols of your abominations, and by the blood of your children, which you did give unto them [into their fires];
37 Behold, therefore I will gather all your lovers [who’ve put themselves in My place, men in whom you put your trust: leaders and teachers you pay to confuse, delude, and mislead you and your children], with whom you have taken pleasure, and all them that you have loved, with all them [known enemies] that you have hated [ignorantly thinking there is a difference between the two groups]; I will even gather them round about against you, and will discover your nakedness unto them, that they may see all your nakedness [now seeing it, experiencing the desolation they’ve wrought, the destroyers and the destroyed feign blindness, denying it’s been revealed, uncovered, upon those who’ve followed them – “the great paradox” of our time: looking to those who’ve led the world here, to, by the same corrupt elements, lead it out. How weak {rejecting the strength of this understanding} is your mind that you refuse to see and find the way out of the darkness?].
38 And I will judge you, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give you blood in fury and jealousy.
39 And I will also give you into their hand, and they shall throw down your eminent place, and shall break down your high places [as they have, in all the institution they infest, debased {demoralized} every part of truth remaining]: they shall strip you also of your clothes, and shall take your fair jewels, and leave you naked and bare.
40 They shall also bring up a company against you, and they shall stone you with stones [from whom evil flows, familiar spirits known to be the dead speaking the ways into death], and thrust you through with their swords [their word with which they kill the minds of men].
41 And they shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments upon you in the sight of many women [the unfaithful in church and state]: and I will cause you to cease from playing the harlot [stop following and paying those who mislead you, as doctrine and policy], and you also shall give no hire anymore.
42 So will I make my fury toward you to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from you, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
43 Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, but have fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense your way upon your head, says the LORD God: and you shall not commit this lewdness above all your abominations.
44 Behold, every one that uses proverbs shall use this proverb against you, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
45 You are your mother’s daughter, that loathed her husband and her children; and you are the sister of your sisters, which loathed their husbands and their children: your mother was a Hittite [terrified: feared men and not God], and your father an Amorite [a sayer, exalting their words above God’s].
46 And your elder sister is Samaria [who put idols, abominations, in God’s place and call them by His name], she and her daughters that dwell at your left hand [are now the leftist controlling church and state: communists and demoralizers]: and your younger sister, that dwelleth at your right hand, is Sodom [the debauched and malicious, with corrupt communication, removing God from their knowledge, seeking to be accepted by men] and her daughters.
47 Yet have you not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, you were corrupted more than they in all your ways. [Friends, these institutions, the unrepentant deceivers, and those who choose these men over God’s rescue, will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. It’s a hard thing to accept this reality: that evil is among us at war, smiling at us and urging peace while they finish their destruction of our nation and culture. See the LORD’s warning in Matthew 11 below.]
48 As I live, says the LORD God, Sodom your sister has not done, she nor her daughters, as you have done, you and your daughters.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread [prosperity], and abundance of idleness [not working] was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen [giving this understanding: teaching our better culture, exalting God’s ways above all others] the hand of the poor and needy [who were without power and in need].
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
51 Neither has Samaria committed half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they, and have justified your sisters in all your abominations which you have done.
52 You also, which have judged your sisters, bear your own shame for your sins that you have committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than you: yea, be you confounded also, and bear your shame, in that you have justified your sisters.
53 When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of your captives in the midst of them:
54 That you mayest bear your own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that you have done, in that you are a comfort unto them.
55 When your sisters, Sodom and her daughters [My people in their fallen state], shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then you and your daughters shall return to your former estate.
56 For your sister Sodom was not mentioned by your mouth in the day of your pride,
57 Before your wickedness was discovered, as at the time of your reproach of the daughters of Syria [the foreign enemies confederate with the domestic enemies in power among us], and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines [the invading army now brought among us], which despise you round about.
58 You have borne your lewdness and your abominations, says the LORD.
59 For thus says the LORD God; I will even deal with you as you have done, which have despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish unto you an everlasting covenant.
61 Then you shall remember your ways, and be ashamed, when you shall receive your sisters, your elder and your younger: and I will give them unto you for daughters, but not by your covenant [you’ve made with death, your agreement with hell].
62 And I will establish my [New] covenant with you [writing My law into your minds]; and you shall know that I am the LORD:
63 That you mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open your mouth any more because of your shame, when I am pacified toward you for all that you have done, says the LORD God [‘Adonay Jehovih – the King of kings and LORD of lords].
Below, in Matthew 11, the LORD speaks the pattern of John the Baptist, the LORD’s ascension (Elijah), calling all to repentance, as the dove (John, Jonah), the sign of the end reached, who the corrupt powers killed (silencing him). As we know, then as now, they beheaded him because he confronted them for having his (Herod’s) brother’s wife, the sisters (in-law) mentioned above.
Matthew 11
11 Truly I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least [without reputation, without status] in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. [Philippians 2: 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.]
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14 And if you will receive it, this is Elijah, which was for to come.
15 He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
17 And saying, We have piped unto you [sounding, saying I should bow to the image they’ve created], and you have not danced; we have mourned unto you [saying they repent while keeping the same corruption], and you have not lamented [all, by their opinions, delusions they’ve created, saying I should be doing what they have been taught I should].
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking [not accepting your corrupt ideas and ways], and they say, He has a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
21 Woe unto you, Chorazin [in the smoking furnace]! woe unto you, Bethsaida [the house of the fish – the houses that are the whale’s belly]! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
23 And you, Capernaum [to whom the Comforter has come, speaking and working unknown in their ignorance], which [to men whose words] are exalted unto heaven [saying you have your own understanding, your covenant with death, your agreement with hell], shall be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you.
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O Father, LORD of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes.
26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.
27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28 Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden [by the words of evil men], and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light [double meaning intended].
Philippians 2
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name [Timothy – meaning highest esteem of God] which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh of His perpetual son He declares, saying all should “hear him”] every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out [finish] your own salvation with fear and trembling [obeying].
13 For it is God which works [by His word] in you, both to will [to produce your willing obedience] and to do of his good pleasure [giving free course to His word, when it is perfected: received as His].
14 Do all things without murmuring and disputing:
15 That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God [by His correction], without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights [giving His understanding] in the world; [Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 For, behold, the darkness {ignorance} shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.]
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.
17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy [when you realize the LORD is alive in me bringing you with me from death into life], and rejoice with you all.
18 For the same cause also do you joy, and rejoice with me.
19 But I trust in the LORD Jesus to send Timotheus [time {highest esteem} of God] shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.
22 But you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.
The Greek word time means “a value, i.e. money paid, or (concretely and collectively) valuables; by analogy, esteem (especially of the highest degree), or the dignity itself:– honor, precious, price, some.”
The word above in Ezekiel 16:39, rendered “jewels,” is kliy, meaning “from 3615 [kalah – to end, finish]; something prepared, i.e. any apparatus (as an implement, utensil, dress, vessel or weapon).”
Daniel 12
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time [mow’ed – the appointed time, when God’s people are scattered], times [mow’ed – the appointed time when the congregation is gathered], and a half [chetsiy – when this word is split open again and rightly divided]; and when he shall have accomplished [kalah] to scatter the power of the holy people [as they are now scattered and thereby have no power], all these things shall be finished [kalah – the end].
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my LORD, what shall be the end [‘achariyth – these last days] of these things?
9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end [qets – full end].
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
In the word kliy, the LORD leads to its use in 1 Chronicles 10, where it speaks of régime change, when the king (Saul), because he sought and followed the advice of familiar spirit, was removed and David came to power.
1 Chronicles 10
1 Now the Philistines [the invading army among us] fought against Israel [God’s people]; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and [without the power to resist] fell down slain in mount Gilboa [swelled with pride and become unreasonable].
2 And the Philistines followed hard after Saul [who the people desired], and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan [those to whom this word is given], and Abinadab [the brethren], and Malchishua [but their king is wealth], the sons of Saul.
3 And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.
4 Then said Saul to his armourbearer [kliy], Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer [kliy] would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword [his own words], and fell upon it.
5 And when his armourbearer [kliy – the vessels in who these weapon of war should be kept] saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword [their own word, adding corruption, not keeping this word] and died.
6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.
7 And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled [their power gone and all are scattered], and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook their cities, and fled: and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
8 And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
9 And when they had stripped him, they took his head, and his armor [kliy – these treasures], and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people.
10 And they put his armor [kliy – these treasure] in the house of their gods [see Danile 1], and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon [the fish, the whale that swallowed Jonah].
11 And when all Jabeshgilead [the dry places where this word hasn’t been heard] heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
12 They arose [from death’s sleep], all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh [the dry places], and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days [abstaining from the word that led to this destruction, the advice of the known dead].
13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;
14 And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
Isaiah 30
1 Woe to the rebellious children, says the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
2 That walk to go down into Egypt [descended into oppression], and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh [evil leading], and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh [those in power who haven’t known me] be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your [debilitating] confusion.
Daniel 1
1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim [who the LORD raised into power] king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon [false prophets and false teachers whose creation have ruled the world into confusion now turned mass delusion] to Jerusalem [the LORD’s teaching the ways of sustainable peace and security: reciprocal respect for life, liberty, and property], and besieged it.
2 And [‘Adonay] the LORD gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels [kliy] of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar [deep sleep] to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels [kliy – these treasures, weapons of war] into the treasure [‘owtsar – armory, there stored in ignorance] house of his god [where idols, as Dagon, were put in God’s place and called by His name, swallowing the world into death and hell].
Proverbs 20
12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD has made even both of them.
13 Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you shall be satisfied with bread.
14 It is naught, it is naught, says the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth.
15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel [kliy].
16 Take his garment that is surety for a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
17 Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.
Friends and enemies, understand the word kliy speaks as weapons of war, if God’s, tressure with which He fills His vessels He into the battle. This is God’s love (agape – charity) manifested, sent to convert (change – metamorphoo) any that receive them as Him coming to rescue us from the consequences of our acts of ignorance, after which none can say they haven’t heard the gospel.
Isaiah 54
13 And all your children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of your children.
14 In righteousness shall you be established: you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near you.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire [to increase its flame], and that brings forth an instrument [kliy] for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon [kliy] that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD.
Paul, the LORD in him, speaks of the above (instrument, weapons) descriptively twice in 1 Corinthians (using the word agape, meaning “love, i.e. affection or benevolence; specially (plural) a love-feast”) before using it nine times (all rendered “charity”) in chapter 13. Before seeing these, we must examine its (agape’s) first and second uses (its only uses) in Matthew and Luke, and several others, which together give us a complete understanding that THIS WORD must be received and elevated as the WORD OF GOD (His consuming fire from His mouth), as it is.
Matthew 24
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives [delivering the healing oil from the Most High], the disciples [students] came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world [the old and corrupt age, beginning the new, wherein dwells righteousness]?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ [saying they are anointed with the oil from the Most High]; and shall deceive many.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors [akoe – the LORD’s fame, as you have heard this report from His mouth, revealing His arm to those who haven’t believed this is a war] of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom [of darkness] against kingdom [of light]: and there shall be famines [not hearing the word of God], and pestilences [dis-ease resulting from following men who put themselves in God’s place], and earthquakes [shaking the wicked from these seats of power], in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake [as it is this day].
10 And then shall many be offended [by this true word of God], and shall betray one another [as they did the LORD], and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive [mislead into mass insanity] many.
12 And because iniquity [the words of misleaders] shall abound, the love [agape – giving the true word of God] of many shall wax cold [and be without His holy fire].
13 But he that shall endure [keeping His word from corruptors and corruption] unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And [the end comes when] THIS gospel of the kingdom [come] shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end [of the world of darkness] come.
Luke 11
40 You fools, did not he that made that [flesh] which is without make that [mind] which is within also?
41 But rather give alms [your offering of charity to God] of such things as you have [in your mind, so the world will see and judge who has made you]; and, behold, all things are clean unto you [from whom I have removed men’s corruption].
42 But woe unto you, Pharisees [you religious hypocrites, teachers of falsehood, which you most adamantly deny, who’ve scattered my people and hold them as dead men in your tombs]! for you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over [offering] judgment and the love [agape – giving THIS WORD] of God: these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for you love [agapao – give your own words, to keep] the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, [religious] hypocrites! for you are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them [that your words are death, and hold men in hell: Sheol, the habitation of the dead].
John 17
1 These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven [seeing with full understanding, elevating Your word in my mind above all others], and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify you:
2 As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in my flesh], whom you have sent.
4 I have glorified you on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify you me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.
6 I have manifested your name [Your identity in me] unto the men which you gave me [to lift up their eyes and minds into heaven] out of the [old and corrupt] world [of darkness]: yours they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept [from corruption] your word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever you have given me are of you.
8 For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them [as Your word], and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the [old and corrupt] world, but for them which you have given me [into Your kingdom in this new world, wherein dwells righteousness]; for they are Yours.
10 And all mine are Yours, and Yours are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the [old and corrupt] world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one [BODY], as we are.
12 While I was with them in the [the old and corrupt] world, I kept them [from corruption] in your name: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition [who put themselves in Your place, teaching and preaching their abomination in Your name]; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to you; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them your word; and the [old and corrupt] world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that you shouldest take them out of the world, but that you shouldest keep them from the evil [who’ve misled them].
16 They are not of the [old and corrupt] world, even as I am not of the [old and corrupt] world.
17 Sanctify them through your truth: your word is truth.
18 As you have sent me [to give Your word as received] into the [old and corrupt] world, even so have I also sent them [to give Your word as received, to preach and teach THIS true Gospel of Your kingdom come] into the [old and corrupt] world [it ends].
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. [Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of one {BODY}: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 Saying, I will declare your name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto you. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me. Isaiah 8 continues, saying “are for signs and for wonders in Israel {to the people of the Father’s promise} from the LORD of hosts {a man of war}, which dwells in mount Zion {on His throne in His kingdom}. 19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits {the known dead speaking words of death}, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? {they should stop looking} for the living to the dead? 20 {And look} To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light {understanding} in them.]
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one [BODY]; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the [old and corrupt] world may believe that you have sent me.
22 And the glory [Your presence revealed in Your Word] which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one [BODY], even as we are one [BODY]:
23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect [teleioo – completed, in the end] in one [BODY]; and that the [old and corrupt] world may know that you have sent me, and have loved [agapao – given Your word to] them, as you have loved [agapao – given Your word to] me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am [in this new world, wherein dwells Your righteousness]; that they may behold my glory [Your presence manifested in me], which you have given me: for you loved [agapao – Your word You gave] me before the foundation of the [old and new] world.
25 O righteous Father, the [old and corrupt] world has not known you [here speaking and working veiled in my flesh]: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them your name [Your identity in me], and will declare it: that the love [agape – final use in the Gospels, Your word You’ve given me] wherewith you have loved [agapao] me may be in them, and I in them.
1 Corinthians 4
8 Now you are full, now you are rich, you have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God you did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9 For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the [old and corrupt] world, and to angels [messengers unaware they’ve left their first estate: which is speaking His word as received], and to men.
10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised.
11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling-place;
12 And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
13 Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the [old and corrupt] world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.
14 I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.
15 For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ [false prophets and false teachers who’ve come in His name], yet have you not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus [the Father alive in me, come to save His people from corruption] I have begotten you through the gospel.
16 Wherefore I beseech you, be you followers of me.
17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus [who is, I Am, the Paraclete] who is my beloved son, and faithful in the LORD, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. [John 14:26 But the Comforter {the Paraclete}, which is the Holy Ghost {the LORD working and speaking unknown, veiled in the flesh}, whom the Father will send in my name {Jesus – Jehovah’s Salvation manifested in the flesh}, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.]
18 Now some are puffed up [with pride in what they think they know about His coming], as though I would not come to you.
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the LORD will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up [with pride], but the power [in this true word of God].
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21 What will you? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love [agape – this word of God received as His], and in the spirit of meekness [not using His power for destruction, but to build up those who receive it as His word]?
1 Corinthians 8
1 Now as touching things offered unto idols [the creations, abominations, of men who put themselves in the LORD’s place], we know that we all have knowledge [of these creations]. Knowledge puffs up [men with pride in the thing they think they know], but charity [agape – giving the true word of God as received] edifies [builds up, upon the foundation laid by Christ, the son of the LORD’s choosing, in whom He manifests His presence, by water and blood].
2 And if any man think that he knows any thing, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 But if any man love [agapao – gives as received the word of] God, the same is known of him.
4 As concerning therefore the eating [consuming what the “know-nothings” offer] of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols [the creations of men who make themselves gods and lords], we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6 But to us [who know Him] there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things [the Origin of all we know], and we in him [live]; and one LORD Jesus Christ, by whom are all things [given as received from the Origin], and we by him [brought to the light: life].
7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience [mind created] of the idol unto this hour eat [consume] it as a thing offered unto an idol [knowing they are men’s creations and have no power to save anything, which is evident in the world now totally corrupt and without truth: without form, and void, covered in darkness, without comprehension of God with us]; and their conscience being weak is defiled [their weak minds are corrupted].
Friends, receiving this word of God as His word is receiving the LORD, being in His presence at His coming.
1 Thessalonians 2
11 As you know how we exhorted and comforted [in the power of the Paraclete] and charged every one of you, as a father does his children,
12 That you would walk worthy of God, who has called you unto his kingdom and glory.
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also [bringing Him to life] in you that believe.
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even you in the presence of our LORD Jesus Christ at his coming?
20 For you are our glory and joy.
John 1
1 In the beginning [before the foundation of the world was laid] was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light [understanding] of men.
5 And the light shineth [understanding given by His word] in darkness [ignorance of God]; and the darkness [the ignorant] comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John [the dove, the sign of the end reached].
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light [giving it as received], that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light [not the origin of the understanding], but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the [new] world.
10 He was in the [old and corrupt] world, and the [old and corrupt] world was made by him, and the [old and corrupt] world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me [when you realize the Father veiled as His word in the flesh]: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ [the Father’s salvation manifested in the flesh of those He chooses].
18 No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.
1 Corinthians 13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity [agape – giving this word of God as received], I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [agape – giving this word of God as received], I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity [agape – giving this word of God as received], it profits me nothing.
4 Charity [agape – giving this word of God as received] suffers long, and is kind; charity [agape – giving this word of God as received] envies not; charity [agape – giving this word of God as received] vaunts not itself, is not puffed up [with pride in self],
5 Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not his own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
6 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Charity [agape – giving this word of God as received] never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues [the word of God spoken without understanding], they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect [first] comes, then that which is in part shall be done away. [Why do you yet doubt these things are occurring before your eyes?].
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly [ignorantly]; but then face to face [realizing His presence with us and in us removing corruption]: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I Am known.
13 And now abides faith, hope, charity [agape – giving this word of God as received], these three; but the greatest of these is charity [agape – giving this word of God as received].
The word kliy only appears one other time in Proverbs and only three times in the Psalms, all below.
Psalms 31
1 In you, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness.
2 Bow down your ear to me; deliver me speedily: be you my strong rock, for a house of defense to save me.
3 For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for you are my strength.
5 Into your hand I commit my spirit [according to Luke 23:46, the LORD Jesus’ last words, before he left his flesh body]: you have redeemed me [by your power brought from death into life], O LORD God of truth.
6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities;
8 And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: you have set my feet in a large room.
9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: my eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
10 For my life [in My ONE BODY] is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
11 I was a reproach among all my enemies, but especially among my neighbors, and a fear to my acquaintance: they that did see me without [in the flesh] fled from me [because of the corruption that blinded them].
12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel [kliy – weapon].
13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to [again] take away my life.
14 But I trusted in you, O LORD: I said, You are my God.
15 My times are in your hand: deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from them that persecute me.
16 Make your face [paniym – Your presence] to shine upon [giving Your understanding to] your servant: save me for your mercies’ sake.
17 Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon you: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave [sheol – in the hell they’ve dug].
18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
19 Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up [tsaphan – reserve in your armory] for them that fear you; which you have wrought for them that trust in you before the sons of men!
20 You shall hide them in the secret of your presence [paniym] from the pride of man: you shall keep them secretly [tsaphan] in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21 Blessed be the LORD: for he has shown me his marvelous kindness in a strong city.
22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before your eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried unto you.
23 O love the LORD, all you his saints: for the LORD preserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart [minds], all you that hope in the LORD.
Proverbs 25
2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
3 The heaven for height [from where it is revealed], and the earth for depth [where it is secret in plain sight], and the heart of kings is unsearchable [only revealed by God in crowning him by His power].
4 Take away the dross from the silver [corruption from my treasures], and there shall come forth a vessel [kliy] for [revealing] the finer.
5 Take away the wicked [who corrupt truth and spew their evil creation] from before the king, and his throne [and crown] shall be established in righteousness.
Psalms 7
1 O LORD my God, in you do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is my enemy:)
5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.
6 Arise, O LORD, in your anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.
7 So shall the congregation of the people compass you about: for their sakes therefore return you on high.
8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity that is in me.
9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins.
10 My defense is of God, which saves the upright in heart.
11 God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.
13 He has also prepared for him the instruments [kliy – weapons] of death; he ordained his arrows against the persecutors.
14 Behold, he [the wicked] travailed with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon the crown of his head [qodqod].
17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
Psalms 71
1 In you, O LORD, do I [Timothy] put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline your ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be you my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: you have given commandment to save me; for you are my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For you are my hope, O LORD God: you are my trust from my youth.
6 By you have I been holden up from the womb: you are he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of you.
7 I am as a wonder unto many [who don’t understand they are experiencing Your presence]; but you are my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with your praise and with your honor all the day.
9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.
10 For my enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
11 Saying, God has forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor that seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise you more and more.
15 My mouth shall show forth your righteousness and your salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of the LORD God: I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours only.
17 O God, you have taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared your wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and grey-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shown your strength unto this generation, and your power to every one that is to come.
19 Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, who have done great things: O God, who is like unto you!
20 You, which have shown me great and sore troubles, shall quicken me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
22 I will also praise you with the psaltery [kliy – with the weapons, words of Your warfare], even your truth, O my God: unto you will I sing with the harp [repeating Your words, striking the enemy as its strings], O you Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto you [with open mouth ending the age of darkness]; and my soul, which you have redeemed [brought to life again].
24 My tongue also shall talk of your righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
