Who is antichrist?

16 September 2024

The Scripture writers knew they were in (one of) the end times, meaning they already realized the LORD’s presence manifested with them, in them, and they tell us whom the antichrists are opposing Him. By their description, we know it is the end times when we see Him again, meaning by the understanding He gives us, destroying the words of the deceivers, we realize He is with us, in the flesh, in us. Knowing the LORD has come and the antichrists denying Him followed are logically sequential and inseparable events.

The word antichrist appears four times, and antichrists once, all by John, the author of Revelation, the meaning of which all have twisted with perverted opinions, delusions they call truth.

1 John 2
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us [not remaining in the things we have heard from the beginning; referring to verse 24 below]: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
20 But you have an unction from the Holy One, and you know all things.
21 I have not written unto you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.
23 Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father: he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
24 Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
25 And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life.
26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you [to deny Father is with us in His son, in the flesh, which is the defining trait of antichrist, of which there are now many, just as there are now many sons].

1 John 3
1 Behold, what manner [according to the scriptures] of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not [and now again denies the Father manifested in His sons].
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear [phaneroo] what we shall be [when the world sees Him alive in us]: but we know that, when he shall appear [phaneroo – become apparent], we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself [by which we see Him], even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law [uses it in ways to oppose and deny the Father and His sons]: for sin is the transgression of the law [denying the spirit therein, and twisting its truth].
5 And you know that he was manifested [phaneroo – is made apparent] to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins [and has not purified their minds of corruption] has not seen him, neither known him [or his sons].
7 Little children [born again as God’s children], let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that commits sin is of the devil [deceived by those possessed by Satan]; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested [phaneroo – is made apparent], that he might destroy the works of the devil [his deceiving and misleading into denying the Father and His sons].
9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest [phaneros – shining, made publicly appparent], and the children of the devil [antichrists denying His presence in our flesh: the Father in His sons]: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother [refusing to give this understanding as received, because they deny He is present].
11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love [teach this word of God as received, without corruption] one [to] another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

1 John 4
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God [what part of this is hard to understand, Christ, the father manifesting His presence in His sons, must be present, or he could not, at His phaneros, be denied in our flesh]:
3 And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is present] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world [these two aspects, His presence and the many antichrists’ denying Him, are those by which we know it the last time].
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them [the wicked know-it-all experts, whose faith is the lies they’ve learned, blinding corruption of which they are ignorant]: because greater is he that is [alive] in you, than he that is in the [dead] world.
5 They are of the [dead] world: therefore speak they [the death] of the world, and the [dead] world hears them.
6 We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

John 14
9 Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also.
20 At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
21 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest [emphanizo – “to exhibit (in person) or disclose (by words)”] myself to him.

Do you, in this word, hear Him speaking?

Psalms 116
1 I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.
2 Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow [when I realized I was alive among the dead].
4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech you, deliver my soul [out of hell].
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The LORD preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto your rest [in the peace He has left me to be revealed], O my soul; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
8 For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 I believed [the LORD is present with me, in me], therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted [by those choosingto remain in darkness and death]:
11 I said in my haste [away from corruption], All [dead] men are liars.
12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD [to speak His word as received and decalre it is Him present, alive, in me] now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16 O LORD, truly I Am your servant; I Am your servant, and the son of your handmaid: you have loosed my bonds [and raised Me from death and hell].
17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
19 In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise you the LORD.
