What is more important, to be able to repeat issue points in exactly the way that your followers want to hear them or to have a pure heart? The regurgitation of the issues is in form merely spouting laws, while a pure heart understands the underlying intention the statement’s implementation is meant to achieve. Re-cognition is much better than memorization. It is the difference between superficial and depth in comprehension. It is the dividing line between the establishment, having self-ascended into control over the process and an infallible entitlement to administer and promulgate their specific form, and the pure purpose of the original intent.

When we discuss the “establishment” this is what is meant. This is how we can see the neo-establishment (the Beck, Cruz, Tea-evangelical wing) becoming so caught up in implementing their form, only accepting people using all the right words to show they are members of their enlightened group, devolved into being exactly opposite what they claim as their intentions. They are slave to the process as defined by them and to hell with anyone who disagrees.

This inevitably takes us to 1 Corinthians 13 and it speaking of all the things that will fail, and of charity that will never fail. Once again we need to be reminded of what this word means. It is the Greek word agape, from the word agapao. The meaning is said only to be love as in a benevolent or moral sense. In studying the word it appears it could be a derivative of ago and apo. Ago has the meaning of leading, and apo means to take off or away. This understanding gives agape a meaning of removing or taking something by leading to do so.

The above meaning is what Christ did for us and we are called to do for others. It is found in the second of the two great commandments. The idea is also found in Ephesians 4:8 as it quotes Psalms 68:18 (taking (leading) captivity captive).

In Matthew 22 when the Lord tells of the two great commandments He concludes His statement with telling that all the Law and the Prophets hang on these. As we have looked at in the past, the word “hang” is from the Greek word kremannumi. It is the word used to describe the Lord’s being “hanged” on a tree. The word literally means suspended. The Lord is telling of many things in using this one word. It is the suspension of the sentence against us, and is conversely the suspension of our entering the kingdom until we realize this underlying principle. The primary point of the Law and the Prophets is to get us to the point of understanding the prime intention.

Matthew 24
31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
43 He said unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

There are none as blind as those who refuse to see. (They don’t need to see, they already know everything. They only lack one thing, the mind of Christ.)

The idea of the Law and the Prophets hanging on “charity” is the full understanding of loving God and our neighbor as our self. It is God who teaches us this way and in loving Him we love, honor, and obey His commandment to love our neighbor. (Again it is our being taught the way to New Jerusalem. As we have studied many times, Jerusalem is from yarah and shalam. Yarah meaning to flow, figuratively meaning to teach and being founded upon such teaching. It represents the prime teaching of God as it flows directly from Him (the water of Shiloah that flow under Zion). Shalam is peace found in mutual security in life, liberty and estate. It is reciprocal respect between people.)

1 Corinthians 13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profits me nothing.
4 Charity suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not; charity vaunts not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
6 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 Bears all things, believeth all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Charity never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abides faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

The idea in Ephesians 4:8 is explaining what holds us captive is superficially knowing words and able to repeat them, but failing to understand and therefor act out their pure intention. This is what the teaching of Christ does; it takes captive what has taken us captive.

Ephesians 4
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he says, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Psalms 68
1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

Apocalypse, The Waters Returning – Trump Isn’t the Enemy

What has Trump figured out that neither the republican political class nor the republican commentators have? What is he doing different? I am not going discuss all the obvious aspects such as his tapping into the discontent and the anger that is most deeply based in the betrayal and condescension from those we’ve trusted in the past. I am going to focus on something I heard Rush say yesterday and several times before. He mentioned Trump is the prototypical candidate according to what republican strategists have always told us we need to elect. These “experts” constantly claim we must have centrist candidates who will be able to cross the proverbial aisle and work with democrats. The problem has always been in this manifesting itself as republicans crossing the aisle to implement a liberal democrat agenda of anti-God, anti-American, big government socialism. They degrade the military, abandon our veterans and those in service; they enter wars oblivious of consequences; they increase deficit spending, debt and let unfunded liabilities spiral endlessly out of control; they attack our values; they open our borders to all who will come and let terrorist and illegals walk freely among us. They have bailed out Wall Street and poured money from the treasury (and the Fed) into everything except the [actually] working class. That is the state of our republic under Obama and the modern Republican Party led here by its “experts.”

The difference should be apparent from the definitions just listed as manifestations of the current establishment. Trump’s enemies claim he is all of the above. The truth is if he were he would be welcomed into the establishment with open arms. This is where Trump, while not in ideological purity, is actually most like Reagan. Those who have come along claiming to be ideologically reincarnations of Reagan have in most cases quickly proven to lack the vigilance and fortitude to follow through. They progressively melted away into the echo chamber they sought approval from and winning it lost their souls.

The truth be told, when Trump talks about winning what is talking about and accomplishing is drawing people to cross the aisle in a direction that until now has been a one way route. People are crossing in a new direction that seeks to solve problems in common sense ways that are conservative while not being defined in the terms politicians and pundits can understand. They are being spoken of in language foreign to those who only understand words meant to intentionally mean nothing.

This brings us to another point the establishment doesn’t understand. They have told us [every time there is an election] everything we wanted to hear and after being elected it is always proven they lied to us at almost every turn. Now they tell us Trump is lying to us? The establishment hears what it wants to hear and then regurgitates it back in a ways to panic its followers into falling back to the same system that got us into the mess. Their words mean nothing in a world where they have destroyed truthful discourse.

So, the proven liars keep lying, and they continue to ridicule anyone who refuses to believe them. At the same time in doing they are proving everything that has driven people away. It isn’t about Party, it is about the manipulation that is self-centered and cares nothing about solutions. They will claim they care while each again proves it’s about them in power, and if they have to they will burn it all down to keep it.

Galatians 4
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.

Psalms 124
1 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;

3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Apocalypse, The Refining Fires

Continuing with the appointed time of our meeting with the LORD as He performs His righteous judgment. Today a look into the deeper parts of Isaiah 14 and its declaring the judgment of the devil in form as evil ascended to absolute power. Understanding this as the establishment we need to start with another reading of Ephesians 6. Therein we see the devil is the one casting the fiery darts of accusation in defense of the principalities and powers, and opposing the plan of peace and unity.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

This is the context in which we are able to fully understand Isaiah 14. The chapter ends telling of none being divided in the appointed time. This is telling of the unity of purpose. The Hebrew words used in verse 31 translated as, “none shall be alone in his appointed time,” are ‘ayin badad mow’ad. The literal translation is, division shall not exist at the set meeting time. The circumstance is the same as we discussed yesterday from Amos 3:3, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

The final verse in Isaiah 14 also asks the question, “32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.” It is asking similar questions to those we again looked into yesterday from Isaiah 53, “1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?” The questions are answered in the full understanding of the content in total.

Here is Isaiah 14:
1 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the Lord for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou was made to serve,
4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5 The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers.
6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hinders.
7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirs up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

22 For I will rise up against them, saith the Lord of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the Lord.

25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
27 For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
28 In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.
29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.
31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.
32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.

Verse 12 above identifies the fallen one as Lucifer, from the Hebrew heylel, meaning morning star. The true meaning is found in the similar Chaldean (Aramaic) word heykal, meaning and translated as temple and palace. It is the language of the Babylonians (the confused). It is the place of power as in principalities and powers, and of the spiritual wickedness in high places. These are the places that have become an abomination even though they were created to be perfect reflections of the pure and holy light of the LORD God on earth. These are the sun and moon we have discussed many times as being God’s intended form of His government on earth.

The final time heykal is used it is telling of the messenger of the LORD appearing suddenly in the “temple.” Following this we are told of it being the appointed time of the refining and of the Sun rising.

Malachi 3
1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, says the Lord of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, says the Lord of hosts.
6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, says the Lord of hosts.
13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?
15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16 Then they that feared the Lord spoke often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

Malachi 4
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says the Lord of hosts.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

Apocalypse, The LORD Consuming the Stumblingblocks

Today a bit on the calamity and ruin that comes upon the establishment as the LORD pronounces it from Amos 3. Who has believed our report? Unto whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? It has been foretold and it comes quickly, and men refuse to see even as it occurs before their eyes.

The establishment is what our revolution is against, to free God’s people as a similarity of being freed from Egypt. The modern captors are the principalities and power we are told in Ephesians 6:12 our war is against, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Amos 3:3 asks the question, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Those who study along know this as meaning the two have agreed to a set time and place. It is speaking of the time agreed for judgment. It is the time spoken of by Paul on Mars’ Hill in Act 17:31, “Because He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised him from the dead.”

22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, “Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

Everyone reads these passages and thinks it doesn’t apply to them or to this time. I am here (ordained and sent) to announce it does apply to all, and the time is now.

Ephesians 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Here is Amos and it is to be read in the context of now. Chapter 3 verse 6 tells of an “evil” coming from the LORD. It is speaking of this time of the LORD’s righteous judgment. The Hebrew word used is ra’, and its meaning is calamity.

Amos 3
1 Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?
6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it?
7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets.
8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
9 Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
10 For they know not to do right, says the Lord, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
11 Therefore thus says the Lord God; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
12 Thus says the Lord; As the shepherd takes out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
13 Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, says the Lord God, the God of hosts,
14 That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
15 And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, says the Lord.

1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that flees of them shall not flee away, and he that escapes of them shall not be delivered.
2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
5 And the Lord God of hosts is he that touches the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
6 It is he that builds his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name.

Isaiah 53
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

46 The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. 47 It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me. 48 He delivers me from mine enemies: yea, thou lifts me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. 49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. 50 Great deliverance gives he to his king; and shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

Apocalypse, Do You Think the Next President Will Save Us?

Do you think the next president will save us? In the past I have written about how thinking this is merely another illusion, an image of smoke quickly vanishing as we attempt to grasp it. The next president isn’t what will save the nation. He may change government and alter policy but until we deal with the underlying problem we will inevitably slide back into the same decline. The problem is rooted in the ignorance of the foundations, and if not ignorance then rejection and abandonment. Until we change the mind of man there will be no restoration, no peace, and no lasting security.

The difference between following false saviors and changing the mind can be analogized by a prescription to ease external symptoms as opposed to curing the internal root cause.

What we discuss here daily is the cure. God’s wisdom tells us it is changing the heart of man. Here the heart is spoken of as the basis of our reasoning. When these foundations are destroyed, these first principles, well ordered reasoning is impossible. It (right reasoning) only occurs as coincidence in the course of what has become total reliance on reactive reason based on the circumstance of the moment. This is how a fountain can be claimed to bring forth both sweet water and bitter. In reality it is all made bitter.

Those who are using their seats of power to inspire hate against their brothers are spewing darkness. These are the evil and bitter waters. (Suffer me for a moment please as I make a slight departure to commend a friend. Rush, thanks for not participating in the hate-fest. I know you are actually a Cruz supporter (even though you haven’t said it yourself) but you have remained impartial and truthful in your analysis more so than any other national figures. The idea of bitter and sweet water is a scriptural concept that is first stated in Proverbs 27:7. The full chapter is very pertinent to our topic.

Proverbs 27
1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knows not what a day may bring forth.
2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.
3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool’s wrath is heavier than them both.
4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?
5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.
6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
7 The full soul loathes a honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

The next use of the words bitter and sweet together is found in Isaiah 5:20. Just prior in verses 11 & 12 we read of those who inflame themselves with intoxication as they enjoy the sound of their own tunes (as mentions in a previous post of the establishment, and now the neo-establishment – those calling themselves the “true conservatives” while only lacking one thing – the mind of Christ). Here is verse 20 followed by the full portion of the chapter. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Isaiah 5
11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands.
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it.

The next occurrence is in James 3:11. Here it is used in telling of the evil of the incorrigible tongue. Those who can’t control what they say and how this is what sets ablaze the fires of hell.

James 3
1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor lists.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

The last use of the words bitter and sweet together is found in Revelation 10 in telling of the one who eats the Word of God. The bitterness is contained inside but in his mouth it is as sweet as honey. This is also an allusion to the tree that was cast into the bitter waters at Marah (bitter).

Exodus 15
22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that heals thee.

Revelation 10
10 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And swore by him that lives for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which stands upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Apocalypse, I Am for Peace, But When I Speak, They are for War

Today a few words about Jeremiah 29:11 in which the LORD tells us of our “expected end.” This is telling us of what connects all God’s people to the promised end. The literal translation of these words is telling or restoring the future of our children and all future generations.

The two Hebrew words used are tiqvah ‘achariyth. ‘achariyth is the word used to describe the latter days and the end time.
Here are the definitions from Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary:

Strong’s #8615: tiqvah (pronounced tik-vaw’) from 6960; literally, a cord (as an attachment (compare 6961)); figuratively, expectancy:–expectation ((-ted)), hope, live, thing that I long for.

Strong’s #319: ‘achariyth (pronounced akh-ar-eeth’) from 310; the last or end, hence, the future; also posterity:–(last, latter) end (time), hinder (utter) -most, length, posterity, remnant, residue, reward.

The word tiqvah is only used twice in Jeremiah with the second being in chapter 31 again along with ‘achariyth to tell us of this exact contextual meaning. It is telling of returning to Jerusalem. This is to be understood in the context we have come to understand through our studies in previous post on the subject. New Jerusalem is our expected destination, meaning a place founded in peace, by mutual security under the laws of nature and nature’s God. If you haven’t read them (the previous posts) you (again) disqualify yourself from commenting (It is better to keep silent and be thought a fool, than to give an ignorant opinion and remove all doubt.)

Jeremiah 31 (see “hope in thine end” in verse 17)
16 Thus says the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, says the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in thine end, says the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the Lord.
21 Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which thou went: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

This is the virgin again bringing forth a son, as the same pattern repeats. This expected end is what is spoken of in Micah 4:1 in telling of this same destination.

Micah 4 (‘achariyth is translated “in the last” in verse 1)
1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.
5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.
6 In that day, saith the Lord, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;
7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
11 Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
12 But they know not the thoughts of the Lord, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

Now back to Jeremiah 29 and the LORD telling of our expected end.

Jeremiah 29
4 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;
5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, says the Lord.
10 For thus says the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, says the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, says the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
15 Because ye have said, The Lord hath raised us up prophets in Babylon;
16 Know that thus says the Lord of the king that sits upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwells in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
17 Thus says the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:
19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, says the Lord, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, says the Lord.

‘achariyth is also translated as the “end” we are told of in Daniel 12:8 where following we are likewise told this will be a time when the wise understand what they are hearing.

Daniel 12
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Jeremiah 31
31 Behold, the days come, says the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus says the Lord, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, says the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
37 Thus says the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the Lord.
38 Behold, the days come, says the Lord, that the city shall be built to the Lord from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the Lord; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more forever.

Apocalypse, Judgment Against the Establishment Announced

The LORD has sent me to announce His judgment against the corrupted establishments of religion and politics, saying to me, say, “The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard. Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil (self-inflicted as consequence of your own action) that He hath pronounced against you. As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seem good and meet unto you. But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death (destroy with your ruinous accusations), ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.” Jeremiah 26:12 – 15

Here is the context of Jeremiah as it is found in chapter 1. The nation has become so corrupted (led there by corrupted leadership) that the LORD brings a northern king upon it (of Babylon, meaning confusion). This is foretold in Psalms 2 when it says in verse 4, “the Lord shall have them in derision.”

In Jeremiah 1:11 we read of the LORD coming to Jeremiah asking what he sees. He responds, “I see a rod of an almond tree.” This it telling of a staff for striking (in the form of a king), but is also the word for as staff used for walking, guiding or divining.

The following verses tell of this evil that comes out of north, the same word evil (ra’a’) from Jeremiah 26 above that come as consequence of the nations actions. Verse 16 of chapter 1 tells exactly why it comes.

Jeremiah 1
4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7 But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, says the Lord.
9 Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
11 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what see you? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
13 And the word of the Lord came unto me the second time, saying, What see you? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.
14 Then the Lord said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says the Lord; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.
18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defensed city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah (the ruling class), against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, says the Lord, to deliver thee.

I don’t care what others tell you; the LORD says this has come to destroy the corrupted establishment (ruling class).

Here is what the LORD says to all the false prophets (the experts in religion and politics, and all willing to spew their errors over the airways):

Jeremiah 27
9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon:
10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.
11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, says the Lord; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
12 I spoke also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
15 For I have not sent them, says the Lord, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
16 Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says the Lord; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the Lord’s house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
19 For thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city.
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
21 Yea, thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, says the Lord; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.

Psalm 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Again, I don’t care what people’s opinions are or if they disagree. This is the word of the LORD and I know Him in Whom I believe.

Romans 10
1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describes the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what says it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture says, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah said, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses said, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
20 But Isaiah is very bold, and said, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21 But to Israel he says, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Romans 11
1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Know you not what the scripture says of Elijah? how he makes intercession to God against Israel saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down your altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what said the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
9 And David said, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling-block, and a recompense unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always.
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

Apocalypse, Minds on Fire and the Elements Melt

Today a look at what men claim is wisdom and in many cases ends up being a direct contradiction of what God is saying. This is concerning wisdom and governing principles of religion and civilized societies. The word that brings these concepts together is the Greek word stoicheion. It is from the word stoicheo, meaning to walk in straight line, as in to conform to the path others have led into. Stoicheion is more in the sense of beginning the path.

To understand the concept we should first look at John 21:18 in telling of the Holy Spirit leading in the latter days. “When thou was young, thou girds thyself, and walked whither thou would: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou would not.” The description is of our going our own ways with our own presumptions, and in the latter days we will be led in a new way that we wouldn’t go on our own (because it isn’t the way men have led prior).
We also need to briefly look at this from the perspective of Galatians 5:25 where stoicheo is translated as “walk.”

Galatians 5
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

This takes us to the word Stoicheion and it’s meaning from the Strong’s Greek Dictionary and Thayer’s Greek Lexicon (from bibletools.org):

The word is used seven times, and we will begin with its use in Hebrews 5:12 in telling o it being the first “principles” of God’s teaching. The chapter is telling of God ordaining whom ever He chooses to teach and correct His people. It tells of this ordination being the never-ending order of Melchisedec (king of peace and of righteousness). It is God’s order of rectification (refining, and removing errors).

Hebrews 5 (stoicheion is “principles” in verse 21)
5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
6 As he says also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

This takes us to what I call “the great paradox.” Those who have led man down this path to destruction claiming “God says” when he hasn’t said anything to them, are the same men who the misled look to for correction. The paradox is those in control of the information, the establishment, will never correct the problem because they are the problem. The truth is their mortal enemy.

The next two times stoichieon is used are in telling that this great end time battle is to determine whose principles people will follow, the corrupted status quo or the truth. It is translated “elements” in 2 Peter 3:10 & 12 describing what will melt away. Verse 1 speaks of “stirring up your pure minds.” The Greek words translated stirring is a word meaning to wake out of a sleep. The word translated “pure” is eilikrines, literally meaning to judge by sunlight. (It is a word describing the method for judging the quality of a statue (stones carved by the hand of man). Errors in the form of cracks or chips were filled with wax as a way to hide them. They method of testing was to expose the product to sunlight. The heat would melt the wax exposing the errors.) The fires later spoken of are what expose flawed thinking of man’s creations.

2 Peter 3
1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The other four times stoicheion is used are in Galatians 4:3 & 9 translated as “elements,” and in Colossians 2:8 & 20 translated as “rudiments.” In both cases it is talking about the corrupted rules of man who are part of the established order of man’s creations. We are reminded that Christ has set us free from these.

This same stirring the mind to this flame that purifies by exposing error is what Paul exhorts Timothy to in 2 Timothy 1:6. I will again plainly tell you this is what my Father has sent me to accomplish in His name. This is what He told me in Psalms 2 when He called me His son. (I don’t really care if you disagree or have a differing opinion. I choose to believe God.)

Apocalypse, Uncovering the Truth About Hate

If you’re only at this page to do some drive by damage then you will understand none of what I am about to say and therefor disqualify yourself from having any opinion.

Let’s do a quick word study of the Greek word translated as “hate” in the scriptures. It is the word miseo from the primary word misos. It is actually compounded from the primary parts me and sozo (from sos). Me has the meaning of negation, as in not, and sos means safe. Misos is the opposite of the shalam, which is the second half of the word Jerusalem. We know the context as it is found in the Hebrew, Yarah Shalam. Yarah means founded in peace (because it has been taught, as it flows direct from the fountain of life), and shalam, meaning reciprocal security in life, liberty, and estate (peace by mutual security). By this we see hate meaning thinking someone unworthy of this peace. The full concept is found in the idea of separation as we have seen its meaning in “the laws of nature and nature’s God.” We saw in the law of separation that if someone understands the idea that civilization is only found in this state of mutual security and rejects it, the only option is separation. We saw this principle in our criminal law as it pertains to imprisonment (separation) of those who violate the right of security of other’s life, liberty and property. In God’s law we saw it in the concept of hell, eternal separation from God’s kingdom (heaven) because of (ones own choice) refusal to live in this state security (peace and civility).

Hate is finding cause for separation from protection. There is a time for just separation, but what we are most often talking about is unjust hate. Unjust hate is when one is thought not deserving sozo when they have committed no crime worthy of being separated or denied protection. This idea of determining who is worthy of being separated is found in our Bill of Rights’ 5th Amendment. It is meant to keep people from being violated based on groundless accusation. It is a rule of civilization.

Here is the Greek definition of sozo from the Strong’s Greek Dictionary: Strong’s #4982: sozo (pronounced sode’-zo) from a primary sos (contraction for obsolete saos, “safe”); to save, i.e. deliver or protect (literally or figuratively):–heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole.

Sozo is the word most often translates as “save.” It is first used in Matthew1:21 describing the LORD coming to save His people from their sins (error). It is given context in verse 23 by quoting Isaiah 7:13 – 15 telling of God being with us. It is last used in Revelation 21:24 to tell of our destination city holy Jerusalem (New Jerusalem) after it has come down from God out of heaven to earth. These together are an allusion to God as the First and the Last, the beginning and the ending of our creation.

Matthew 21 (sozo is “save” in verse 21)
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

Today a word about corruption in the form of those in government thinking themselves justified in their every action because they have been just in a few others. Let’s look at it in our days as it manifests in the form of republicans now holding the prominent seats of power thinking their accomplishment of winning the seats gives them license to use corrupt practices to reach whatever end they are able to rationalize within their own closed circles. The corruption is the same old (leftist) tactic of the end justifies the means, and there is no means or method defined as too extreme.

This is seen in the demonization and personal destruction of anyone they think isn’t worthy of having a seat at their table, because the person hasn’t done it by their rules. To be honest this aspect is one of the things that keep me from committing to Cruz. People who follow him and do his bidding are willing to destroy and demonize anyone who won’t submit to their guy. I heard Beck on the Howard Stern show decrying the politics of personal destruction, while his show has become non-stop bashing of anything that isn’t Cruz or for him (mostly bashing Trump and his supporters). This is the worst of politics and it is vile no matter where it comes from. Trump isn’t the enemy. They claim he is the same as Obama and the other leftist, and have reduced him to a demon so vilified that many will not vote and thereby will give the election to the true enemies on the socialist/communist left.

I will tell what I see as the differences, first being Trump doesn’t hate this country and the principles it was founded on. He doesn’t hate God, Christians or Christianity. He doesn’t hate free market capitalism. He doesn’t hate freedom.

As far as what I think about Trump’s conversion to conservatism as opposed to those who consider themselves more worthy because they have been there longer. Matthew 21: 28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
5 Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,
16 And said unto him, Hear thou what these say? And Jesus said unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority does thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
42 Jesus said unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
