All the men of your confederacy have brought you even to the border: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; they that eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is none understanding in him.

All the men of your confederacy have brought you even to the border: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; they that eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is none understanding in him.

The word “confederacy” above (from Obadiah 1:7) is the Hebrew word briyth, the word we know means covenant, and is demonstrated as passing between two pieces of flesh that are cut apart. It means to cut, and is from the word barah, meaning to select (a choice), to feed, and to make clear. In these definitions, we understand the deeper meaning as a choice to feed on the same thing, commonly accepted ideas, set out, made clear, and agreed upon, which becomes the basis of what joins entities (people, business, nations) together (to God) that were before separated. This understanding, the reciprocal adherence to what was agreed, is what produces and keeps peaceful relationships between the parties.

The greatest example of this, in our time, is our Constitution: the spirit in the agreement, to reciprocally adhere to and equally apply its protections and restraints, achieving the peace and stability it sought to accomplish. In the evidence of our time, when some men joined with us in this covenant, led by those who reject and ignore its very foundations, turn into their prey those who still abide its hold (the law).

As we have seen, Obadiah speaks of the pattern (the wheel) of just such a time, as Edom (the brothers among US who have made us their prey), plainly telling us (in the above verse) deception is his manner. We know, in the evidence of our time (our wheel), this same method is the chosen tool of the domestic enemies among us, who hate us only because we still believe in the ideas we understand to be those which, while producing peace, elevate, by achievement, men and nations. These others, while rejecting and abandoning our ideas, have led the nation into the abyss void of understanding, and in this blindness, all have become shortsighted, unable to see and understand their (our better ideas’) benefit. By this choice, the popular culture has digressed into a more primitive state, stagnant and regressing in their intellectual evolution, in their own conceit proclaiming themselves enlightened (woke), all while ignorant of their own condition of ignorance.

This ignorance is what also blinds them to their own demise, as they themselves provide the evidence, the sparks of the true enlightenment, that awakens the spirit in man, the curiosity to seek and find the truth, and when seeing it never willing, never able, to return to the primitive state to which he was a slave. This is our purpose, to awaken the sleeping, and once awakened, never to repeat the same mistake, which is the human tendency toward complacency in achievement’s comforts. We must remember, it is into the void, the swept house, the unclean spirits rush, if we aren’t the first to enter (the minds of our children and those who come as they come: willing to receive the free gift of understanding and the peace it produces).

Obadiah
1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the LORD God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumor from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise you, and let us rise up against her in battle.
2 Behold, I have made you small among the heathen: you are greatly despised.
3 The pride of your heart has deceived you, you that dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that says in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
4 Though you exalt yourself as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, thence will I bring you down, says the LORD.
5 If thieves came to you, if robbers by night, (how are you cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grape-gatherers came to you, would they not leave some grapes?
6 How are the things of Esau [the enemies among us] searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!
7 All the men of your confederacy [those who claim they love the Constitution while they ignore and abandon it, to overturn it] have brought you even to the border [the expected end, this appointed time]: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; they that eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is none understanding in him.
8 Shall I not in that day, says the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?
9 And your mighty men, O Teman [where wisdom once resided – and where it returns in the Theophany: God manifesting His presence], shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
10 For your violence against your brother Jacob shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off for ever.
11 In the day that you stood on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even you were as one of them.
12 But you should not have looked on the day of your brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither should you have spoken proudly in the day of distress.
13 You should not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, you should not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;
14 Neither should you have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither should you have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.
15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen [those who don’t know Him]: as you have done, it shall be done unto you: your reward shall return upon your own head.
16 For as you have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been [those who haven’t known the LORD will know Him].
17 But upon mount Zion [where the LORD rules in the minds of men] shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
18 And the house of Jacob [the LORD in them] shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD has spoken it.
19 And they of the south [the LORD’s right hand, where His power resides] shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines [the foreign invaders]: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim [all God’s people, upon who this second blessing has come], and the fields of Samaria [where they have worshiped idols put in God’s place]: and Benjamin [the son of the Father’s right hand] shall possess Gilead [this mountain of testimony, the ideas and information flowing from the LORD].
20 And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites [those who possessed the promised land – the USA and any place that receives the LORD], even unto Zarephath [their refinement – purification from their old {primitive} ideas]; and the captivity of Jerusalem [becomes captivated by the ways and ideas of peace, which flow, are taught, directly from the LORD, which become the foundation {conscience} of all thought and actions], which is in Sepharad [which is their sanctification, separates them from the enemies], shall possess the cities of the south [that are the places of the LORD power, His right hand].
21 And saviors [God’s people, in whom He dwells] shall come up on mount Zion [where He rules] to judge the mount of Esau [the enemies among us]; and the kingdom [this nation and any who receive Him] shall be the LORD’s.

The word briyth, the agreement, which these types first agreed to, broke, and then made a covenant with death and hell, is spoken of in Isaiah 28:15 & 18. In these two verses, the correction (before, in verse 10 & 13, defined as precept upon precept, line upon line) comes as a “scourge,” a word translated from the Hebrew word showt, meaning a corrective measure. These two words also appear in Job 5; briyth in verse 23 rendered “in league,” after, in verse 21, showt is again rendered “scourge.”

The Greek word phragellion, appears only one time, in John 2:15 where it is rendered scourge. It appears to be from the words phrazo, meaning to expound, and gelah, meaning to reveal. It is what the LORD used to chase the thieve and robbers, those who sold sacrifices (prayers {conversation with God} and the knowledge of God) out of the temple.

John 2
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And said unto him, Every man at the beginning does set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but you have kept the good wine until now.
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
13 And the Jews’ Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house a house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of your house has eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign show you unto us, seeing that you do these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple [the body of Christ, as they have through teaching and preaching ignorance], and in three days I will raise it up [I Am risen up].
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days?
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Job 5
1 Call now, if there be any that will answer you; and to which of the saints will you turn?
2 For wrath kills the foolish man, and envy slays the silly one.
3 I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
4 His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them.
5 Whose harvest the hungry eat up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swallows up their substance.
6 Although affliction comes not forth of the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;
7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9 Which does great things and unsearchable; marvelous things without number:
10 Who gives rain upon the earth, and sends waters upon the fields:
11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
12 He disappoints the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the forward [those who twist and pervert truth] is carried headlong.
14 They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.
15 But he saves the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
16 So the poor have hope, and iniquity stops her mouth.
17 Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore despise not you the chastening of the Almighty:
18 For he makes sore, and binds up: he wounds, and his hands make whole.
19 He shall deliver you in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch you.
20 In famine he shall redeem you from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
21 You shall be hid from the scourge [showt] of the tongue: neither shall you be afraid of destruction when it comes.
22 At destruction and famine you shall laugh: neither shall you be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23 For you shall be in league [briyth] with the stones [‘eben] of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with you.
24 And you shall know that your tabernacle shall be in peace; and you shall visit your habitation, and shall not sin.
25 You shall know also that your seed shall be great, and your offspring as the grass of the earth.
26 You shall come to your grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn comes in in his season.
27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know you it for your good.

Isaiah 28
1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
2 Behold, the LORD has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail [the word of God, frozen, reserved in heaven for this moment] and a destroying storm [as in Gibeon], as a flood of mighty waters [this word of God] overflowing [as in Perazim], shall cast down to the earth with the hand [these refer to what is written in verse 21 below].
3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower [they never bring any of their ideas to full ripeness – because they are impatient], and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looks upon it sees, while it is yet in his hand he eats it up.
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line [gav] upon line [gav], line [gav] upon line [gav]; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people [with words they are ignorant of and therefore don’t understand – because they have been blinded by the teaching of the gods of this world].
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line [gav] upon line [gav], line [gav] upon line [gav]; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant [briyth] with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge [showt] shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus says the LORD God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone [‘eben], a tried stone, a precious corner stone [‘eben], a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste [retreat in shame].
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line [gav], and righteousness to the plummet [mishqeleth – the weight at the end of the line, that straightens it]: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant [briyth] with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge [showt] shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim [sending His word upon the enemies – 2 Samuel 5:20], he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon [as great hail from heaven – Joshua 10:10 & 11], that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the LORD God of hosts a consumption [kalah – the end], even determined upon the whole earth.
23 Give you ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
24 Does the plowman plow all day to sow? does he open and break the clods of his ground?
25 When he has made plain the face thereof, does he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
26 For his God does instruct him to discretion, and does teach him.
27 For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.
29 This also comes forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

Daniel 9 [See verses 4 & 27]
1 In the first year of [Esther’s son, who is also called Cyrus] Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
3 And I set my face unto the LORD God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O LORD, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant [briyth] and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and from your judgments:
6 Neither have we hearkened unto your servants the prophets, which spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
7 O LORD, righteousness belongs unto you, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.
8 O LORD, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you.
9 To the LORD our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against him;
10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed your law, even by departing, that they might not obey your voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
12 And he has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven has not been done as has been done upon Jerusalem.
13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand your truth.
14 Therefore has the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he does: for we obeyed not his voice.
15 And now, O LORD our God, that has brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have gotten you renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 O LORD, according to all your righteousness, I beseech you, let your anger and your fury be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of your servant, and his supplications, and cause your face to shine upon your sanctuary that is desolate, for the LORD’s sake.
18 O my God, incline your ear, and hear; open your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by your name: for we do not present our supplications before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies.
19 O LORD, hear; O LORD, forgive; O LORD, hearken and do; defer not, for your own sake, O my God: for your city and your people are called by your name.
20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel [man of God – phrase only appears twice in New Testament, describing Timothy, and the perfect man – See 1 Timothy 6:11 telling of what we “flee,” and 2 Timothy 3:17 of this same perfection that allows us to understand and impart understanding], whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding.
23 At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant [briyth] with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation [mercy in God’s grace, correction to impart the knowledge of God – see Hosea 6:6 & 7 where the transgression of this brith is spoken of] to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations [shiqquwts – filth and pollution, blinding all minds – the confusion mentioned above] he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Psalms 83
1 Keep not you silence, O God: hold not your peace, and be not still, O God.
2 For, lo, your enemies make a tumult: and they that hate you have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted against your hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate [briyth] against you:
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. Selah.
9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: [All these speak of wheels within wheels, event past, recorded and passed forward, to be seen as patterns of events in our time. In understanding, and seeing the way through, these wheels in our circuit {wheel} of time, is life.]
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 O my God, make them like a wheel [a pattern we see, which we record and pass forward]; as the stubble before the wind.
14 As the fire burns a wood, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire;
15 So persecute them with your tempest, and make them afraid with your storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek your name, O LORD.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame [never reach the end they seek], and perish:
18 That men may know that you, whose name alone is Jehovah, are the Most High over all the earth.

One Reply to “All the men of your confederacy have brought you even to the border: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; they that eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is none understanding in him.”
