Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

The LORD begins today in Matthew 1:23 above, which comes in a passage where He’s leading into the present truth of His appearing and kingdom. As we know, this written word, by the mind of Christ in Matthew giving him understanding, is sent to us to give understand through seeing the same pattern. This manner, resurrection according to the scriptures, as we know, is the wheel within a wheel Ezekiel, by the mind of Christ in him, describes, saying in it (understanding it and having faith it’s God’s presence manifested and speaking) is found life.

Paul begins 1 Corinthians 15 describing this manner, salvation, by the “gospel” we preach, which he says is “according to” the scriptures. The chapter tells of the LORD as a Father correcting, and those corrected becoming His children, an action he later describes as victory over death: when we put off corruption and put on immortality.

1 Corinthians 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand;
2 By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The word “gospel” is the Greek word euaggelion, said to be from the eu, meaning good or well, and aggelos, meaning a messenger, or an angel. The word aggelos is said to be from ago, meaning “to lead; by implication, to bring, drive, (reflexively) go, (specially) pass (time), or (figuratively) induce.” It (aggelos) is more precisely from the words ago and glossa: meaning the tongue. In this deeper understanding, we see the gospel is the product of a good leading tongue, which we know is the definition of good, just as evil is the misleading advice of corrupt men spewing out their own shame.

James 1
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty [the opposite of the oppression brought by the corrupt misleading tongue], and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridled not his tongue [glossa], but deceive his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

James 3
1 My brethren, be not many masters [teachers], knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor lists [wills].
5 Even so the tongue [glosso] is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles!
6 And the tongue [glossa] is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue [glossa] among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and has been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue [glossa] can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

The virgin spoken of in the title verse is the same spoken of in Revelation 14: those in whose mouth is found no guile. They are the elect remnants who follow the Lamb wherever he goes, who are not defiled by women (haven’t been corrupted by the unfaithful church), who are the first-fruits unto him and to God. The one they follow is seen the one-time euaggelion (good leading tongue) appears in Revelation, Revelation 14:6, preaching it while flying in (the clear air of) heaven.

Revelation 14
1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder [the sound of understanding]: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song [repeating God’s word as received] before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand [because they follow the Lamb {the flesh body of the LORD’s sacrifice, which He prepared from Himself} and learned it from him], which were redeemed [bought by his price paid] from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women [not corrupted by the unfaithful and apostate church]; for they are virgins [from who the LORD comes]. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed [bought with a price paid] from among men, being the first-fruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile [no deception]: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel [euaggolion – good leading tongue] to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue [glossa], and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of [these living] waters.
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon [confusion] is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication [her interaction with men, who as the son of perdition, put themselves in God’s place].
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image [confusion and the delusion it creates], and receive his mark [confusion and delusion] in his forehead [the forefront of their minds], or in his hand [works, acting upon the confusion and the delusion it creates],
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture [not corrupted by men] into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image [confusion and the delusion it creates], and whosoever receives the mark [confusion in the delusion it creates] of his name [Babylon – confusion].
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the LORD from henceforth: Yea, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud [where understand is held when it left the earth], Thrust in your sickle, and reap: for the time is come for you to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles [which control the mouths of men], by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

1 Corinthians 15
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the LORD from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot [inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you steadfast, un-moveable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the LORD.

Matthew 1
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary [meaning to rebel – the church, first against God and now returned after rebelling against the corrupt status quo] was espoused to Joseph [the new leadership of God’s people – Ephraim’s head], before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, you son of David, fear not to take unto you Mary your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost [the LORD unknown, working in the elect remnant].
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation personified]: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the LORD by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the LORD had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

Matthew 2
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judah [into Ephratah, the ruin of Ephraim, in the house of bread corrupted by the corrupt leaders – see Hosea 9 below for the context of what follows] in the days of Herod the king [when the enemies mixed among us ruled, as they do now], behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judah: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And you Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of you shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when you have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the LORD appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be you there until I bring you word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the LORD by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the LORD appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.
21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judah [mob rule, and the ensuing chaos] in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee [turned to His inner circle]:
23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

The title Nazarene is from the Hebrew word nezer, meaning “something set apart, i.e. (abstractly) dedication (of a priest or Nazirite); hence (concretely) unshorn locks; also (by implication) a chaplet (especially of royalty):–consecration, crown, hair, separation.” It speaks of the king in the line of Joseph, which became the Davidic line of the kings of Judah, as the crown cast to the ground, the king then separated, until now when it (He) is restored.

Psalms 89
34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
36 His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me.
37 It shall be established forever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.
38 But you have cast off and abhorred, thou have been wroth with your anointed.
39 You have made void the covenant of your servant: you have profaned his crown [nezer] by casting it to the ground.

Psalms 132
8 Arise, O LORD, into Your rest; You, and the ark of Your strength.
9 Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let Your saints shout for joy.
10 For Your servant David’s sake turn not away the face of Your anointed.
11 The LORD has sworn in truth unto David; He will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon your throne.
12 If your children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon your throne for evermore.
13 For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his habitation.
14 This is my rest forever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread [lechem – lehem].
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 There will I make the horn [power to rule] of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp [this understanding light] for mine anointed.
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame [disappointment]: but upon himself shall his crown [nezer] flourish.

The word (nezer) is from the ten times used word nazar, meaning “to hold aloof, i.e. (intransitively) abstain (from food and drink, from impurity, and even from divine worship (i.e. apostatize)); specifically, to set apart (to sacred purposes), i.e. devote.” In exploring this word, the mystery of the one who “shall be called a Nazarene,” is revealed, which is said to come when God’s people have “‘separated’ themselves unto shame, and abominations were according as they loved.”

It (nazar – in Hosea 9) tells of a time such as now, in the LORD’s visitation, when the prophet is a fool, and the spiritual man is mad (insane – out of his right mind), and there is great hatred in the house of God. It says it’s a time as in Gibeah, which refers to Judges 19:15, when the man of God found no house that would take Him in (because there is great hatred for good in the house of God). This pattern is speaking of now when the king line is returning from Judah to its rightful origin in Ephraim (in Joseph – per Genesis 49 as Jacob tell of what will befall his children, here specifically of Judah and Joseph, in the last days).

All these passages and their associated aspects tell of now, when, in the LORD’s presence manifested in this time of His visitation, no house takes Him in (see Judges 19:15 & 18), and their destruction and ruin result. It is the time in Ramah (Rama – above in Matthew 2:18, quoting Jeremiah 31:15), when Rachel’s voice is heard weeping for her children because they are not (born again by receiving Him at His rising). From Ramah (delusion and betrayal, by the hand, work, of the false prophets), the restoration and rising is later spoken of in Jeremiah 40.

Because you refuse Me entry into your houses, the men of the land abuse and misuse you, and now let this (the church, one body that remains divided) be a witness against you.

John 1
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Hosea 9
1 Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for you have gone a whoring from your God [following misleading men], you have loved a reward upon every corn-floor [redistributed the wealth of every place that prospered].
2 The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.
3 They shall not dwell in the LORD’s land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt [to oppression in the hand of evil men, as it is this day], and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria [the false and misleading information, as poisonous bread and wine, they, the communists, now force upon the world].
4 They shall not offer wine offerings to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.
5 What will you do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the LORD [when He now gives His good and life-giving word]?
6 For, lo, they are gone because of destruction: Egypt shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them: the pleasant places for their silver, nettles shall possess them: thorns shall be in their tabernacles [the misleader who’ve overgrown what was as Eden before them].
7 The days of visitation are come, the days of recompense are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad [out of his right mind], for the multitude of your iniquity, and the great hatred [misleading by evil advice and false reporting].
8 The watchman [tsaphah – the Nazarene, the one given understanding of the secrets of God and by them sees what is coming in the distance] of Ephraim was with my God: but the [false] prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways [waiting to catch this word, and replace it with their misleading], and [these false prophets are] hatred [evil] in the house of his God.
9 They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah [see Judges 19:15 & 18 below, referring to these men refusing the King of Ephraim, who is the child of Rachel, the watchman, the Nazarene who is by the work, as in Baal-peor] therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.
10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baal-peor [referring to Number 25:3, when God’s people went whoring with the daughters of Moab, the name we know tells of the devouring open mouths of misleaders, which are the gates of Hell], and separated themselves [nazar] unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.
11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
12 Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart [am separated] from them!
13 Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus [the false rock in which God’s people put their trust], is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer [as in Matthew 2:16 above].
14 Give them, O LORD: what will you give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal [where the waters, the words spoken, are always agitated and turbulent]: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
16 Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
17 My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.

Friends, the few elect remnant, I and the children the LORD has given me, we are those from who these corrupt and revolting houses of God separate themselves, without any fear of God.

Jude 1
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These [false prophets and mad men] are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage [because of their positions in the house of God].
17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate [nazar] themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Judges 19 [FIGURE IT OUT, USE THE SOUND MIND GOD HAS GIVEN YOU!]
1 And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain [‘iysh] Levite [levi] sojourning [guwr – the phrase ‘iysh levi guwr, meaning, a man {‘iysh} joined {levi} and abiding {guwr}] on the side [yrekah – boundary, referring us to Jeremiah 31:8] of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehem-Judah.
2 And his concubine played the whore against him, and went away from him unto her father’s house to Bethlehem-Judah, and was there four whole months.
3 And her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father’s house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him.
4 And his father in law, the damsel’s father, retained him; and he abode with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there.
5 And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel’s father said unto his son in law, Comfort your heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way.
6 And they sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together: for the damsel’s father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray you, and tarry all night, and let your heart be merry.
7 And when the man rose up to depart, his father in law urged him: therefore he lodged there again.
8 And he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart; and the damsel’s father said, Comfort your heart, I pray you. And they tarried until afternoon, and they did eat both of them.
9 And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel’s father, said unto him, Behold, now the day is drawn toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day grows to an end, lodge here, that your heart may be merry; and to morrow get you early on your way, that you may go home.
10 But the man would not tarry that night, but he rose up and departed, and came over against Jebus, which is Jerusalem; and there were with him two asses saddled, his concubine also was with him.
11 And when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto his master, Come, I pray you, and let us turn in into this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it.
12 And his master said unto him, We will not turn aside hither into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we will pass over to Gibeah.
13 And he said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in Ramah.
14 And they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gibeah, which belongs to Benjamin.
15 And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat him down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging.
16 And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.
17 And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Where go you? and from where and when come you?
18 And he said unto him, We are passing from Bethlehem-Judah toward the side of [yrekah – back to the throne of] mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehem-Judah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receives me to house.
19 Yet there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for your handmaid, and for the young man which is with your servants: there is no want of any thing.
20 And the old man said, Peace be with you; howsoever let all your wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.
21 So he brought him into his house, and gave provender unto the asses: and they washed their feet, and did eat and drink.
22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into your house, that we may know him.
23 And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.
24 Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble you them, and do with them what seems good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.
25 But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.
26 Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man’s house where her LORD was, till it was light.
27 And her LORD rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.
28 And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.
29 And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces [THE DIVISION OF THE CHURCH THAT WITNESSES AGAINST THOSE WHO’VE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM THE LORD, THE HOUSES THAT REFUSE THEIR KING], and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.
30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.

Jeremiah 31
3 The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.
4 Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your tabrets, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
5 You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
7 For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish you, praise you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts [yrekah – this end, when and where the King takes His throne] of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travails with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, O you nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.
11 For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.
15 Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah [the high places, where delusion and betrayal had occured], lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel [the journeying women – from who Ephraim, the seed of Joseph, is born in this generation of God’s people] of weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
16 Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in your end, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You [LORD] have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn [shuwb] you me, and I shall be turned [shuwb – returned]; for you are the LORD my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned [shuwb – returned], I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.
21 Set you up waymarks, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: turn again [shuwb – return], O virgin of Israel, turn again [shuwb] to these your cities.
22 How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

Jeremiah 40
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzaradan [seed of the false prophets, {inheriting their corrupted ideas and ways}] the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah [ramah – from their “delusion and betrayal (as if causing to fall)”], when he had taken him being bound in chains [‘aziqqiym] among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.
2 And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The LORD your God has pronounced this evil upon this place.
3 Now the LORD has brought it, and done according as he has said: because you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.
4 And now, behold, I loose you this day from the chains [‘aziqqiym] which were upon your hand. If it seem good unto you to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto you: but if it seem ill unto you to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before you: whither it seems good and convenient for you to go, thither go.
5 Now while he was not yet gone back [shuwnb – returned], he said, Go back [return] also to Gedaliah [Jehovah is great] the son of Ahikam [my brother {Jeremiah – Jehovah in Him} has risen] the son of Shaphan [from his hiding in the Rock], whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go where-so-ever it seems convenient unto you to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go.
6 Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam [my brother {Jeremiah – Jehovah in Him} has risen] to Mizpah [watchtower – speaking of seeing into the distance: this now present future]; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

Psalms 140
1 Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah.
4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
6 I said unto the LORD, You are my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
7 O God the LORD, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle.
8 Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto your name: the upright shall dwell in your presence.

Psalms 141
1 LORD, I cry unto you: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto you.
2 Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
7 Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cuts and cleaves wood upon the earth.
8 But mine eyes are unto you, O God the LORD: in you is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

Psalms 142
1 I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
2 I poured out my complaint before him; I showed before him my trouble.
3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then you knew my path. In the way wherein I walked have they secretly laid a snare for me.
4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
5 I cried unto you, O LORD: I said, You are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise your name: the righteous shall compass me about; for you shall deal bountifully with me.
