And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

18 August 2025

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

The LORD begins today with a brief description of the “clouds,” as He has revealed it.

In the above (Mark 13:26), it’s from the Greek word nephele, which is from the once-used word nephos; the Strong’s Greek Dictionary giving its meaning as “apparently a primary word; a cloud.” (Any time the word “apparently” appears in a definition, it is describing a lack of Spiritual discernment: a lack of God-given understanding/revelation.)

The word’s origin is the same as the name (of the sixth son of Jacob), Naphtali, meaning wrestling, from the word pathal, meaning to twine, i.e, (literally) to struggle or (figuratively) be (morally) torturous:– (show self) forward, show self unsavory, wrestle.”

We first see the name at his (Naphtali’s) birth, recorded in Genesis 30:8, when Rachel (the LORD’s sheep) prevailed against her sister, and Bilhah (troubled), her maid, birthed him.

Genesis 30
8 And Rachel [the LORD’s flock] said, With great [‘elohiym – with God] wrestling [naphtuwl – only used this once] have I wrestled [pathal] with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name [identity] Naphtali.

When considering the cloud, and the wresting therein, we must remember Peter’s words in 2 Peter 3, first speaking of the word of God, of which some men are willingly ignorant, that by it the worlds (ages) are overthrown and created. He then speaks of the stoicheion, the elements, foundational ideas upon which men speak and act, and those (that are corrupt) that melt away in the fires they themselves cause, which destroy the old heaven and earth. He later, speaking of Paul’s writing, says the unlearned and unstable wrestle with them, as they do other scripture, to their own perdition (apoleia).

The point is, we all wrestle with the word of God, as man has since His creation, to the end that we either receive understanding, ending the struggle, or self-destruction. Peter says we are those who reach understanding, the expected end, in the new heaven and earth, wherein dwells the LORD’s righteousness.

Several things about Peter’s words, in which he refers to Genesis 49 and Jacob’s words as he tells his children what shall befall them in these last days (‘achariyth – this after life come). Peter speaks of the unstable who perish, in the pattern of the “sons of perdition,” the pattern of Reuben, who put himself in his father’s place. Jacob says Reuben is “unstable” as water, and shall not remain (in the pattern of the son of perdition). The word there rendered “unstable” is the once used word pachaz, meaning “ebullition,” water boiled into vapor, separated elements, that in a similar process, evaporate from the earth, form clouds where the separated elements (of understanding) are held, until they are reformed and sent to the earth as precipitation (giving understanding through the reassembled elements).

It is this process that unfolds here daily, the LORD reassembling the elements men, over generations, separated into complete ignorance, causing the confusion (Babylon) that now rules the world.

In Genesis 49:21, Jacob has one short sentence telling of Naphtali in this ‘achariyth (this after life come), saying “Naphtali is a hind let loose [shalach – sent forth, as in ‘azab and apoluo]: he gives goodly words [repeating them as received].”

Isaiah 9
4 For you have broken the yoke of his burden [men’s words], and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian [by this sword of the LORD].
5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire [that melt away the corrupt elements of the world, the rudiments {stoicheion} by which God’s people are held in bondage].
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name [identity] shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
8 The LORD sent [shalach] a word into Jacob, and it has lighted upon Israel.

Isaiah 53
1 Who has believed our report [shmuw’ah – shama’ Jehovah; who has heard these words as the voice of the LORD, as it is]? and to whom [but those who’ve heard it as such] is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him [paniym – into His presence manifested before the eye of the world] as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground [‘erets – the earth without this word of God]: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from [paniym – hiding His presence meant to be revealed in us, and will be when awakened by] him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not [remember the meaning of the name Timothy: the highest esteemed of God].
4 Surely he has borne [cabal] our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised [daka’] for our iniquities: the chastisement [correction] of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray [into apostacy]; we have turned every one to his own way [forgetting the only way is the LORD’s]; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep [rachel – one of four times the word is used – her child whose birthright is the throne, traveling, journeying, through the generations] before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment [as was Joseph, Rachel’s child]: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living [sent here into death and hell]: for the transgression of my people was he stricken [with them].
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise [daka’] him; he has put him to grief: when you [God’s people] shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear [cabal] their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto [as a willing servant sent here into] death: and he was numbered with the transgressors [as I now am]; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Genesis 49
18 (I have waited for [qavah – expected] your salvation [yshuw’ah – Joshua, Jesus, the child of Joseph], O LORD.)

22 Joseph is a fruitful bough [parah ben – fruitful son], even a fruitful bough [parah ben – fruitful son] by a well [a tree of life by these waters of God]; whose branches run over the wall [the wall of lies men have created and teach]:
23 The archers [ba’al – the gods, lords of this world, whose teaching has blinded all from seeing the Father, in the son, the seed of the woman who brings forth the man child – see Revelation 12:17] have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel:)
25 Even by the God of your father, who shall help you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless [barak] you with blessings [brakah] of heaven above, blessings [brakah] of the deep that lies under [the deep meaning that lies below the surface], blessings [brakah] of the breasts, and of the womb [seed, the son]:
26 The blessings [brakah] of your father have prevailed above the blessings [brakah] of my progenitors [all those who have come before us, and were only blessed with part of what is perfected in our return to the LORD] unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they [these blessings] shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate [naziyr – as in Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph] from his brethren.

When the LORD tells of this moment, when the son of man is (I am, a man) seen in the cloud, he precedes it, saying:

Mark 13
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not [because Christ is in you, unseen: the LORD risen to life in your flesh: the minds of those who receive Him]:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise [as they have, deceiving and being deceived], and shall show signs and wonders [the working of Satan], to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 But take you heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation [caused by following false Christs and false prophets], the sun shall be darkened [the church shall be seen as lacking this light: this understanding], and the moon [civil governments, now, no matter how good you think they may be, they are draining the life of all they govern] shall not give her light,
25 And the stars [all God’s people] of heaven shall fall [into complete ignorance of God with us, in us: His few elect remnant], and the powers that are in heaven [the place where understanding should be found and isn’t] shall be shaken [to shake the wicked, the misleaders, from the place where holiness, righteousness, should be].
26 And then shall they see [a man – ‘aman, truth] the Son of man coming in the clouds [with this understanding, as the latter rain] with great power and glory [that is the LORD’s alone].

Joel 2
1 Blow you the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain [the LORD’s government]: let all the inhabitants of the land [‘erets – the earth] tremble [ragaz] for the day of the LORD comes, for it is nigh at hand;
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess [‘aphelah – this is the darkness, the deeper delusion they are driven into, spoken of in Isaiah 8:22, when, in the tribulation, the LORD is speaking, and His people are instead listening to wizards peeping and muttering against Him, after they have cursed Him and their king], a day of clouds and of thick darkness [‘araphel – this refers to Isaiah 60:2, verses 1 and 2 saying, “Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness {‘araphel} the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.”], as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after [‘achar] it [because the darkness ends here and now], even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devours [‘akal – eats them] before [paniym – now in the LORD’s presence] them; and behind [‘achar] them a flame burns [these last days of darkness now enlightened by the flames]: the land [‘erets – the earth] is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind [‘achar] them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance [mar’eh] of them is as the appearance [mar’eh] of [war] horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise [qowl – their voices] of chariots on the tops of mountains [in power] shall they leap, like the noise [qowl – their voices] of a flame of fire that devours [‘akal – eating those listening to their advice] the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6 Before their face [paniym – in the LORD’s presence] the people [by their ignorance] shall be much pained: all faces [paniym – in His presence] shall gather blackness [ignorance – driven into deeper delusion because they haven’t known the time, haven’t recognized His voice].
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro [shaqaq – a six times used word referring us to Nahum {the comforter} 2:4] in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief [they shall destroy and devour all by the ignorance they teach and broadcast].
10 The earth [‘erets] shall quake [ragaz] before [paniym – in the LORD’s presence speaking to] them; the heavens shall tremble [ra’ash – that brings the dead bones together]: the sun [the church, the totally corrupt institution] and the moon [civil government, the institutions] shall be dark [be ignorant], and the stars shall withdraw their shining [God’s people fallen from heaven, shall not have any understanding]:
11 And [then] the LORD shall utter his voice [qowl] before [paniym – manifesting His presence to] his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executes [‘asah] his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
12 Therefore also now, says the LORD, turn you even to me with all your heart [your changed minds], and with fasting [no longer listening to the advice of the wicked], and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart [your old and corrupt minds], and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents [nacham – comforts, as in previous posts] him of [against] the evil [from which His truth rescues us].
14 Who knows if [how] he will return [shuwb – turn us from the darkness to His light] and repent [nacham – by His Comforter, leading us into all truth], and leave a blessing behind [‘achar] him; even a meat offering [this deep meaning that strengthens us] and a drink offering [these life-giving waters, in which is light and life] unto the LORD your God? [We know from verse 2 above He will, and this evil shall never rise again to power.]
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
16 Gather [‘acaph] the people [into My ONE BODY], sanctify [qadash] the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom [chathan – the separated and hidden one] go forth of his chamber [cheder], and the bride out of her closet.
17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land [‘erets – His earth], and pity his people.
19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen [who haven’t known me]:
20 But I will remove far off [rachaq – at this time when the earth is ruled by the evil decrees of wicked men in places of power] from you the northern army [of darkness], and will drive him into a land [‘erets – the old and totally corrupt earth] barren and desolate, with his face [paniym – by My presence manifested] toward the east sea [My people who are looking toward the light rising], and his hinder part [cowph – this is the end, the termination we’ve seen foretold in 2 Chronicles 20, saying “15 And he said, Hearken you, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed {chathath – confused} by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow go you down {descend into hell} against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz {‘alah ma’aleh tsiyts – their rising to power is as the rising of a flower}; and you shall find {matsa’ – attain} them at the end {cowph – this conclusion} of the brook {these waters: the word of the LORD heard}, before {paniym – manifesting His presence} the wilderness of Jeruel {taught by God, as in Jerusalem, by this word which flow from Him, teaching His ways of peace}.] toward the utmost [‘archarown] sea [this last generation], and his stink shall come up [even if we don’t see or hear it, we perceive it is upon us], and his ill savor [the smell of the dead] shall come up, because he has done [‘asah] great things.
21 Fear not, O land [‘adamah – first generation of My new creation]; be glad and rejoice [realizing I Am present]: for the LORD will do [‘asah] great things.
22 Be not afraid, you beasts of the field [without My Spirit]: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring [life that gives life], for the tree [of life] bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
23 Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain [malqowsh – mah laqash, what gathering of the AFTER crop? This gathering] in the first month [of this new creation]. [Hosea 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight {paniym – in His presence}. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter {malqowsh} and former rain unto the earth.]
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt [‘asah] wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27 And you shall know that I Am in the midst of Israel, and that I Am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward [‘achar], that I will pour out [shaphak] my spirit [ruwach – in My words, which are life, light, and understanding] upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [speak these word as ccreceived], your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour [shaphak] out my spirit [ruwach – in My words, which are life, light, and understanding].
30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness [the church realized to be ignorant and dead without My Spirit], and the moon [civil government] into blood [realized to be draining life from humanity at large], before [paniym – before His presence is realized at] the great and terrible day of [this light, manifesting] the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name [the identity] of the LORD [with us, in us] shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Proverbs 1
10 My son, if sinners entice you, consent you not.
11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily [in deceptions] for the innocent without cause:
12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave [sh’owl – sheol, hell]; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
14 Cast in your lot among us; let us all [be communists and] have one purse:
15 My son, walk not you in the way with them; refrain your foot from their path:
16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed [shaphak – pour out] blood [in their word and way that drain the life from humanity at large].
17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
18 And they lay wait [and we see their net, therefore, it becomes] for their own blood; they lurk privily [unknown to them in their ignorance] for their own lives.
19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which [greedily] take away the life of the owners thereof.
20 Wisdom cries without; she utters her voice in the streets:
21 She cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she utters her words, saying,
22 How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit [ruwach – in My word] unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But you have set at naught all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes;
27 When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind [from where My word is heard]; when distress and anguish comes upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me [to their idols], but I will not answer; they shall seek me early [in your creations], but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Ecclesiastes 3
10 I have seen the travail, which God has given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11 He has made every thing beautiful in his time: also he has set [nathan – given] the world [‘owlam – eternity, everlasting life] in their heart [minds], so that [without which] no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end [cowph – this conclusion].
12 I know that there is no good in them, but [except] for a man to rejoice [knowing the LORD is present with us always], and to do good in his life.
13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.
14 I know that, whatsoever God does, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God does it, that men should fear before him [paniym – in His presence].
15 That which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and God requires [baqash – searched out] that which is past [radaph – what followed and therefore will follow].
16 And moreover I saw [in the things that have already been and are now] under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17 I said in my heart [mind], God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in my heart [mind] concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts [who’ve died without His Spirit and, lacking His mind, have descended into hell].
19 For that which befalls the sons of men befalls beasts; even one thing befalls them: as the one dies, so dies the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man has no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20 All go unto one place [hell]; all are of the dust [created from the ruin of the earth], and all turn to dust again [as they have].
21 Who knows the spirit of man that goes upward [raised from the ruin into life], and the [evil] spirit of the beast that goes downward into [hell – the belly of] the earth?
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice [realizing the LORD’s presence with him] in his own works; for that is his portion [inheritance]: for who shall [who but God can] bring him to see what shall be [the result, the conclusion of His work that comes] after [‘achar] him?

Amos 7
1 Thus has the LORD God showed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth [leqesh, the same as laqash – the after crop]; and, lo, it was the latter growth [leqesh – the after crop] after [‘achar] the king’s mowings.
2 And it came to pass, that when they had made an end [kalah] of eating [‘akal] the grass of the land [‘erets – the earth], then I said, O LORD God, forgive, I beseech you: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
3 The LORD repented [nacham – comforted us, leading into all truth] for this: It shall not be, says the LORD.
4 Thus has the LORD God showed unto me: and, behold, the LORD God called to contend by fire, and it devoured [‘akal] the great deep [the corrupted deep understanding], and did eat [‘akal] up a part.
5 Then said I, O LORD God, cease, I beseech you: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
6 The LORD repented [nacham – comforted: corrected and taught] for this: This also shall not be, says the LORD God.
7 Thus he showed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall [made precept upon precept, line upon line: His teaching, our protection] made by a plumbline [a weight that takes the hook and line into the deep, to catch the life below the surface], with a plumbline in his hand.

Colossians 2
1 For I would that you knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face [the LORD’s presence] in the flesh;
2 That their hearts might be comforted [parkaleo – Paraclete], being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the LORD, so walk you in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments [stoicheion – the corrupt foundational idea of men, the “elements” Peter, in 2 Peter 3:10 & 12, says melt away] of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened [brought from death into life] together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God.
20 Wherefore if you be dead with Christ from the rudiments [stoicheion] of the world, why, as though living in the world, are you subject to ordinances,
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and [false] doctrines of men?
23 Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honor to the satisfying of the flesh.

Revelation 3
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans [the people upon which this day of God’s judgment has come] write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot.
16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye-salve [kollourion], that you may see [as I see].
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcomes [nikao – victory over the words that carried all into death and hell] will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame [nikao], and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.

The word face, in Colossians 2:1, is prosopon, which leads us to Acts 3:19 where it is rendered presence. There it’s the LORD’s presence, His glory manifested through Peter and John, which is said to be the refreshing, as they give the true riches of the LORD to the lame beggar (the pattern of the TV preachers – who are always asking for silver and gold), and healed him.

Acts 3
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I you: In the name [identity] of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength [as if the dirt {the corruption of the journey} was washed from their feet. Or, the clay was removed from the iron, the feet that were clay mixed with iron, and only strength remained. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles [the final, fourth, face Ezekiel saw in the wheel within the wheel, understanding given by the unfolding presence of the LORD revealed by the voice of the man speaking, working, and exalted]; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.]
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful [see Isaiah 51:1 & 52:7] gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, You men of Israel, why marvel you at this? or why look you so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus [the God of the living, showing His risen Son in them and through them]; whom you delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14 But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God has raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16 And his name through faith in his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know: yea, the faith which is by him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 And now, brethren, I wot [know] that through ignorance you did it, as did also your rulers.
18 But those things, which God before had shown by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he has so fulfilled.
19 Repent you therefore, and be converted [revert, return to the true God], that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing [anapsuxis – recover breath, come to life by receiving the His Holy Spirit – referring us to Isaiah 28:12 ] shall come from the presence [prosopon] of the LORD.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things [squandered away], which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the LORD your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in your seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Isaiah 28
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem [tsphiyrah – the morning come] of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine [shmuw’ah – this voice of Jehovah heard]? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue [this truth you don’t understand and have mocked] will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest [mnuwchah – manoah: this rest] wherewith you may cause the weary to rest [nuwach – Noah: those who reach the expected end]; and this is the refreshing [marge’ah – only used here; ma raga’: what quieting of {rest from} the proud waves of the sea: who are agitating humanity]: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell [sheol – the habitation of the dead] are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus says the LORD God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation [for the new earth]: he that believes shall not make haste [chuwsh – when I hasten the end of the wicked]. [Isaiah 60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one {tsa’iyr} a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten {chuwsh} it in his time {when the LORD is revealed by His everlasting light manifested in the flesh}.]
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail [this word frozen in heaven until now] shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place [the lies of the wicked].
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell [sheol] shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge [of correction] shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down [as dung upon the dunghill] by it.
19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation [because of the filthy conversation of the wicked] only to understand the report [shmuw’ah – to hear this word as the voice of Jehovah, His arm revealed, and obey].

2 Peter 3
3 Knowing this first, that there shall [have] come in the last days scoffers [not believing the LORD is present with us, in us], walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep [into death], all things continue as they were from the beginning of the [old] creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God [this same word of God] the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved [for this appointed time of the LORD’s just war against the darkness] unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition [apoleia] of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is [always with us, hidden only in men’s ignorance] longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night [unknown in this time of men’s ignorance of God]; in the which the heavens [the corrupt understanding of men] shall pass away with a great noise [this voice of the LORD], and the elements [stoicheion – the corrupt foundational ideas and ways of men] shall melt with fervent heat, the [old corrupt] earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements [stoicheion] shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless, we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells [the LORD’s] righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our LORD is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given unto him, has written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrestle, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction [apoleia – perdition].

The word rendered “unstable” is the twice-used word asteriktos, meaning “unfixed, i.e. (figuratively) vacillating,” as in not solid (elements as vapor).

The word rendered “wrestle” is the once-used word strebloo, meaning “to wrench, i.e. (specially), to torture (by the rack), but only figuratively, to pervert.” It (strebloo) is from the strepho, meaning to turn or reverse, as in turning the truth of God into a lie.

The word rendered “unlearned” is mathes, meaning “from 1 (as a negative particle) and 3129 [matheo – meaning to learn, and thereby understand]; ignorant.”

Hebrews 2
1 Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to [obey] the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels [His messengers sent] was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
3 How [if we refuse to obey] shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the LORD [the Father revealed in the son first, to bring all His children He has given me to the same glory], and was confirmed [repeating the same message the LORD gave them] unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with [Isaiah 8:18, saying “I and the children the LORD has given me, are for”] signs and wonders [to His people at large], and with divers miracles [this alludes to the “diverse” manner spoken of in Hebrews 1:1; of the many different ways and times, by which the Father previously spoke (separated elements) through men, until now when He, in the son He filled full of understanding, all these divers elements, congealed them in him, into this miraculous, eye-opening, gospel], and gifts [these treasures sent] of the Holy Ghost [as He works unknown leading us into all truth], according to his own will?
5 For unto the angels has he not put in subjection [hupotasso] the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place [Psalms 8:4 – 6] testified, saying, What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit him [as the Chief Overseer of the earth, to relay the foundations which evil man corrupted and destroyed]?
7 You made him [man] a little lower than the angels [in Hebrew, chacer’ elohiym: sent into flesh lacking the full understanding of God]; you [giving Your understanding] crowned him with glory and honor, and did set him [man, in Christ] over the works of your hands:
8 You have put all things [the world, and the fulness thereof] in subjection [hupotasso] under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection [hupotasso] under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now [because man is yet without Christ, not led by His Spirit, and blind] we see not yet all things [are] put under [hupotasso] him.
9 But we see Jesus [Jehovah’s Salvation veiled in the flesh], who was made a little lower than the angels for [sent without understanding] the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor [the Father’s understanding revealed here and now]; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto [the same] glory, to make the captain [archegos – arche ago; the leader of the beginning, only used three other times, “a chief leader:–author, captain, prince”] of their salvation perfect through [long] sufferings [not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance, in which is salvation].
11 For both he that sanctifies [makes pure, removes corruption] and they who are sanctified are all of ONE [BODY]: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 Saying, I will declare your name [Jehovah’s identity, alive in me] unto my brethren, in the midst of the church [His ONE BODY] will I sing [repeat His words, exalting them above all others] praise unto you.

Psalms 104
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with honor and majesty.
2 Who covers yourself with light [understanding] as with a garment: who stretches out the heavens like a curtain:
3 Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters [His word]: who makes the clouds [where understanding is kept when it is removed from the earth] his chariot: who walks upon the wings [kanaph] of the wind:
4 Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed forever.
6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7 At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder [the sound of understanding] they hastened away.
8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which you have founded for them.
9 You have set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 He sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
13 He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your works.
14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 And wine that [changes minds] makes glad the heart of man, and oil [that fuels the light] to make his face to shine [paniym – His presence giving us light, understanding], and bread [God’s word expanded upon] which strengthens man’s heart [rational mind].
16 The trees [upright] of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon [purity], which he has planted;
17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
19 He appointed the moon [civil governments] for seasons: the sun [the church] knows his going down.
20 You make darkness [ignorance], and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
21 The young lions [the second face of the unfolding presence of the LORD God] roar [His word] after their prey, and seek their meat [this deep understanding] from God.
22 The sun [the church] arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
23 Man goes forth unto his work and [like an ox] to his labor until the evening.
24 O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches [the treasure from His storehouse].
25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26 There go the ships [in the church institution]: there is that leviathan [the priesthood], whom you have made to play therein.
27 These wait all upon you; that you may give them their meat [this deep understanding] in due season.
28 That you give them they gather: you open your hand, they are filled with good.
29 You hide your face [paniym – His presence], they are troubled: you take away their breath, they die, and return to their dust [‘aphar – the ashes of the earth’s ruin without Him].
30 You send forth your spirit, they are created [again from the ashes]: and you renew the face of [paniym – by Your presence] the earth.
31 The glory of the LORD shall endure forever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles [ra’ad]: he touches the hills, and they smoke.
33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless you the LORD, O my soul. Praise you the LORD.
