That which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and God requires that which is past.
The LORD begins today, above in Ecclesiastes 3:15, speaking of the full course of the age, beginning good, created by God, and ending in evil, created by man. The passage speaks of this end as man accomplishing nothing good, even while materially advancing, metaphysically degenerating into a more primitive state of mind than his beginning.
In the beginning, man was given an understanding of God and of his own position relative to Him. In the end, now, all understanding has perished. Man, because of his material advances, thinks himself to have replaced God with his own better ideas. He has removed all that enabled him to pursue and find happiness, leaving him in a beast-like state, without the LORD’s mind, intellectually and emotionally unable to find the cause of his agitation or its obvious remedy.
The verse speaks of the LORD, at the end, the completion of the course man has traveled, searching out the cause, and in making it known, giving again the solution, which is hearing His voice and obeying His good advice. The word in the title verse rendered “requires” is baqash, meaning “to search out (by any method, specifically in worship or prayer [godliness and pure religion, found in conversation]); by implication, to strive after.”
As we know, in an early verse, Ecclesiastes 3 speaks of many things there is “a time for,” verse 6 saying, “A time to get [baqash – search out {sound doctrine}], and a time to lose [‘abad – meaning to wander away {from those who seeing choose to remain in corruption}]; a time to keep [shamar – guard and protect {sound doctrine}], and a time to cast away [shalak – throw away {corruption found to be defiling sound doctrine}].”
The verse (Ecclesiastes 3:6) is better understood in seeing the other uses of the word baqash in Ecclesiastes, and first, from the previous post, the idea appearing in Isaiah 57:1.
Isaiah 57 [from the previous post, with today’s additions in double brackets.]
1 The righteous perish [[[‘abad]] wander away, loose themselves, from the apostate church and state], and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come [upon these corrupt institutions].
2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest [in death’s sleep] in their beds, each one [by themselves] walking [here in hell among the dead] in his uprightness.
3 But draw near hither, you sons of the sorceress [who put yourselves in the LORD’s place, who with your words manipulate and control those following your advice into going your evil way], the seed of the adulterer and the whore [churches that left the LORD to follow these sorcerers].
4 Against whom do you sport yourselves? against whom make you a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are you not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.
5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks [the strongholds of the false Christs men follow]?
15 For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy [qadowsh – The LORD alive in His saints: His ONE living flesh BODY]; I dwell [in them] in the high and holy [qadowsh] place, with him also that is of a contrite [dakka’] and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 For I will not contend forever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on forwardly [twisting and perverting truth] in the way of his heart.
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead [nachah] him also, and restore comforts [nichuwm] unto him and to his mourners.
19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off [rachowq – now in this time when the world is ruled by the evil decrees of wicked men in power], and to him that is near [here in this time], says the LORD; and I will heal him.
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.
Ecclesiastes 3
9 What profit has he that works in that wherein he labors [which those after him then corrupt]?
10 I have seen the travail [the labor to bring forth wisdom and understanding, which are light and life], which God has given to the sons of men to be exercised [working out corruption] in it. [2 Timothy 2:5 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.]
11 He [by His work alone] has made every thing beautiful in his time: also he has set the [the foundation of the] world in their heart [our minds], so that no man can find out [without His work revealing it to us] the work that God makes from the beginning to the end [of the old corrupt world].
12 I know that there is no good in them [the corrupt], but for a man to rejoice [in the LORD’s work making all things beautiful again, in His time], and to do good in his life.
13 And also that every man should eat and drink [of the gift, this feast of charity], and enjoy the good of all his labor [exercising himself from corruption], it is the gift [grace] of God.
14 I know that, whatsoever God does, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God does it, that men should fear before [paniym – in the presence of] him.
15 That which has been [known] is now [again known]; and that which is to be [created by again hearing His voice] has already been [created by His voice]; and God requires [baqash – searches out and makes known] that which is past [the way man has corrupted all that was created, and made it without form, and void of all understanding, when darkness covers this deep with ignorance].
16 And moreover I saw under the sun [in the church] the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity [as an abomination] was there.
17 I said in my heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked [changing all, bringing us back to purity]: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in my heart concerning the estate [dibrah – dabar, speaking of the order, arrangement, of word] of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts [without His Spirit with us, alive in us]. [One of the five times dibrah appears is in Psalms 110:4, saying “The LORD has sworn, and will not repent {nacham – He will not add or take anything away from this truth}, You are a priest for ever after the order {dibrah} of Melchizedek {who blessed Abraham with this same understanding}”]
19 For that which befalls the sons of men befalls beasts [without the LORD’s Spirit descending into death and hell]; even one thing befalls them: as the one dies, so dies the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man has no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity [become worthless].
20 All go unto one place [here into hell]; all are of the dust [all was created from the ruin of the age before this one], and all turn to dust again [as they have in this corrupt age].
21 Who knows the spirit of man [into whom he LORD speaks life] that go upward [exalted into full understand with Him], and the spirit of the beast [refusing correction, choosing to remain in his degenerate state of mind] that go downward [in] to the [belly of the] earth [here in hell on earth, where all minds are in disorder, acting on delusions, worthless opinions, of their insane minds]?
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice [realize the presence of the LORD] in his own works; for that is his portion [cheleq – his promised inheritance, spoken by the LORD]: for who [but the LORD alone] shall bring him to see [as He sees] what shall be after [‘achar] him [in these last days of old and corrupt heaven and earth]?
Deuteronomy 32
9 For the LORD’s portion [cheleq] is [with and in] his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
10 He found him in a desert land [without the word of the LORD], and in the waste howling [of wild beasts of the] wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him [with His rightly ordered word, which only comes from Him], he kept him as the apple of his eye [His pupil taught to see as the LORD sees].
11 As an eagle [the final face of the unfolding presence of the LORD] stirs up her nest, flutters over her young [to cause them to fly as eagles], spread abroad [as the firmament, this exposition] her wings [which is the voice of the LORD from all four faces of His unfolding presence manifested], taketh them [into full understanding], bears [nasa’ – lifting] them on her wings [the LORD’s voice heard]:
12 So [as now] the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
Ecclesiastes 7
14 In the day of prosperity [when this light is expanded and lifts your minds] be joyful [know it is the LORD with us, in us working for our profit], but in the day of adversity [ra’ – evil] consider [ra’ah – see it as the LORD sees, and depart from it]: God also has set the one over against [‘ummah – as one society with] the other, to the end [dibrah – you would know them by their words of order or confusion] that man should find nothing after [‘achar] him [when all is corrupt in these last days, after all life has left].
15 All things have I seen in the days [when light came and enlightened me] of my vanity [when I realized the worthlessness of man’s words]: there is a just man that perishes in his righteousness [which lacks one thing, not receiving the LORD’s correction], and there is a wicked man that prolongs his life in his wickedness [ra’ – because the same so-called righteous man refused the LORD’s word, by which the LORD through him would have ended the wicked].
16 Be not righteous over much [pridefully thinking you know things you don’t, being ignorant of your own ignorance]; neither [in your conceit] make yourself over wise: why shouldest you destroy yourself [by refusing to be instructed, destroyed by doing so with the wicked]?
17 Be not over much [rabah – do not increase, exalt and teach] wicked [rasha’ – things that are wrong], neither be you foolish: why shouldest you die before your time? [Daniel12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried {tsaraph – refined, separated, by fire from corruption}; but the wicked {rasha’ – the wrongdoers} shall do wickedly {rasha’ – wrong}: and none of the wicked {rasha’ – wrongdoers} shall understand; but the wise shall understand {the things of the now open word of God}.]
18 It is good that you should take hold of this [understanding]; yea, also from this [not teaching wrong things but rather giving this understanding received from the LORD] withdraw not your hand: for he that fears God [not man, and obeys Him] shall [by His refining] come forth of them all.
19 Wisdom strengthens the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the [evil and ignorant] city.
20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that does good, and sins [chata’] not [has not been led away by wrong teaching, and therefore the righteous and the wicked must all be changed, taught to refuse evil and choose good].
21 Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest you hear your servant curse you:
22 For oftentimes also your own heart [mind] knows that you yourself likewise [with one and all] have cursed others [by teaching wrong things].
23 All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me [rachowq – not known until now, in this time when the world is ruled by the evil decrees of the wicked in power].
24 That which is far off [rachowq – now, this time we have reached], and exceeding deep [understanding held secret in men’s ignorance], who [except God alone] can find it out?
25 I applied my heart to know, and to search, and to seek [baqash] out wisdom, and the reason [chesbown] of things, and to know the wickedness [resha’ – the exaltation and propagation of wrong] of folly [kecel – confidence in them], even of foolishness [of silly women, ever learning wrong things and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth] and madness [confusion turned delusion turned insanity: the inability to discern the difference between delusions and reality]:
26 And I find more bitter than death the [silly] woman [church], whose heart [mind] is snares and nets, and her hands as bands [holding men in death and hell]: whoso pleases God [by hearing His voice and obeying His good leading, into good worship, which is godliness and pure religion] shall escape from her; but the sinner [the wrong doers] shall be taken by her [and held in death and hell].
27 Behold, this [by diligently search for the LORD] have I found, says the preacher, counting [‘echad – uniting these elements of understanding] one by one [precept upon precept, line upon line], to find out the account [cheshbown – the reason they choose wrong and evil, even when good, this blessing, is present]:
28 Which yet my soul seeks [baqash – remained mindfully separated from those who choose what is wrong and evil, which has been searched out by the LORD], but I find not: one man [the first face of the unfolding presence of the LORD] among a thousand [‘eleph – among the oxen, those working in the earth, those alone giving this word as received, as the third face of the unfolding presence of the LORD] have I found; but a woman [church, unfaithfully rejecting His word and work ] among all those have I not found.
29 Lo, this only have I found, that God has made man upright; but they have sought out [baqash – they separated themselves from righteousness, this understanding He gave us at the creation, by] many inventions [chishshabown – machines of war, reasons, the delusions of insane minds, foolishness with which they justify their choosing wrong and evil].
Ezekiel 34
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man [I Am], prophesy against the shepherds [ra’ah – the seers] of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus says the LORD God unto the shepherds [ra’ah – the seers]; Woe be to the shepherds [ra’ah – the seers] of Israel that do feed [ra’ah – see for] themselves! should not the shepherds [ra’ah – the seers] feed [ra’ah – see for] the flocks?
3 You eat the fat, and you clothe you with the wool, you kill them that are fed [ra’ah – by the things you see for yourselves]: but you feed [ra’ah – see] not [for] the flock.
4 The diseased have you not strengthened [with My word I give you], neither have you healed [with My word I give you] that which was sick, neither have you bound up [with My word] that which was broken, neither have you brought again [into My presence] that which was [by you] driven away, neither have you sought [baqash – to separate from corruption] that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty [of your deceptions and misleading] have you ruled them [into ruin].
5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd [ra’ah – no seer]: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of [paniym – from My presence on] the earth, and none did search [darash] or seek [baqash] after them [that are separated from My presence by corruption].
7 Therefore, you shepherds [ra’ah – seers], hear the word of the LORD;
8 As I live, says the LORD God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field [all those on the earth without My Spirit], because there was no shepherd [ra’ah – no seers], neither did my shepherds [ra’ah] search [darash] for my flock, but the shepherds [ra’ah] fed [ra’ah – saw for] themselves, and fed not [ra’ah] my flock;
9 Therefore, O you shepherds [ra’ah – blind seers], hear the word of the LORD;
10 Thus says the LORD God; Behold, I Am against the shepherds [ra’ah – blind seers]; and I will require [darash] my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding [ra’ah – from seeing for] the flock; neither shall the shepherds [ra’ah – these blind seers] feed [ra’ah – see for] themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth [their words by which the devours and swallow into the belly of hell], that they may not be meat for them.
11 For thus says the LORD God; Behold, I, even I, will both search [darash] my sheep, and seek them out [baqar].
12 As a shepherd [ra’ah – as a good seer] seeks [baqqarah – as Jehovah seeks and cares for His flock, to gather into His one body those separated by corruption] out his flock in the day that he is [as I Am] among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out [baqar] my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy [when understanding has been removed from the earth and is held there with Me alone] and dark day [when the earth is cover in mass ignorance of Me and My way].
13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land [‘adamah – this new generation of man I create], and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers [of these life-giving waters], and in all the inhabited places of the country [‘erets – this new earth I create].
14 I will feed [ra’ah – see for] them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains [My new governments I’ve created] of Israel [with, in, those who receive Me and My presence manifested in My word] shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed [ra’ah – see for them, as good overseers, shepherds] upon the mountains [leading My new governments that rules over the new earth] of Israel [with, in, whom I reign and rule].
15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, says the LORD God.
16 I will seek [baqash – separate from wrong and evil] that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat [who prospered in wickedness, the void without the LORD and His righteousness] and the strong; I will feed [ra’ah – see for] them with [good] judgment.
17 And as for you, O my flock, thus says the LORD God; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats [these speak of separating, rightly dividing, those choosing evil from those choosing good, all being changed, now reaching this point of krisis: this decision].
18 Seem it [this voice which is to you of little value] a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but you must tread down [ramac] with your feet the residue of your pastures [you’ve defiled]? and to have drunk of the deep waters [now freely given to correct us, which is Christian charity: godliness and pure religion in action] but you must foul the residue with your feet [of your deep understanding that is corrupted, by your feet which must be washed of it]?
19 And as for my flock, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.
20 Therefore thus says the LORD God unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle [between those who refuse to wash their feet of the corruption and those who’ve purified themselves: to see My presence and see as I see for the flock].
21 Because you have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad;
22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
23 And I will set up one shepherd [ra’ah – One seeing as I see] over them [My Chief Overseer of the earth, Who I have chosen, not as man sees, but by the heart only I see and know], and he shall feed [ra’ah – see for] them, even my servant David [I Am, the seed created by God after His own heart]; he shall feed [ra’ah – see for] them, and he shall be their shepherd [ra’ah – be their seer, their good shepherd].
24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.
25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts [the dead ruling by reflex and not with Godly intellect, causing the world to become without My Spirit, without form, and void: confused and empty] to cease out of the land [‘erets – the new earth I’ve created]: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness [among the desolation, upon which we shall build], and sleep in the woods [not fearing the evil beast].
26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill [My new government] a blessing; and I will cause the shower [my word from heaven] to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing [by My voice heard as thunder, the sound of the lightning, understanding sent in the reassembled elements from the cloud].
27 And the tree [of life] of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land [‘adamah – this new generation of man], and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.
28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen [who haven’t known Me], neither shall the beast [the dead without My Spirit] of the land [‘erets – of the old earth] devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.
29 And I will raise up for them a plant [of many branches] of renown [in whom I will manifest My presence and glory], and they shall be no more consumed with hunger [by not hearing the word of God] in the land [‘erets – in the new earth], neither bear the shame of the heathen [the consequences of following those without the LORD’s Spirit, who make promises they are unable, and never intended, to bring into reality] any more.
30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house [My family] of Israel [who’ve received Me and My presence manifested in this voice], are my people [children by My correction, receiving the sure mercies promised to David and his seed: I Am in us], says the LORD God [‘Adonay Jehovih].
31 And you my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I Am your God [with us], says the LORD God [‘Adonay Jehovih – our King of kings and LORD of lords, in the seed of Joseph, alive in us].
The name Joseph is designed with affinity to the name Jehovah and the word ca’aph, meaning “to divide up; but used only as denominative from 5585, to disbranch (a tree):–top.”
As we know, the name Jehovah deconstructs, revealing an affinity to the name Yahh, from the once-used word ya’ah, meaning “to be suitable,” and is once, in Jeremiah 10:7, rendered “appertained;” and the word hayah, meaning “to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary).”
All of these words and appellative names speak of the judge in whom the LORD self-manifests, who is the one who separates the cattle from the cattle. The words ya’ah and ca’aph, each only appearing once, do so speaking of this one to whom all things pertain, in whom all these elements are brought together and rightly divide evil from good.
Jeremiah 10
1 Hear [shama’ – and obey] you the word which the LORD speaks unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus says the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen [those who haven’t known Me in any generation], and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven [this full understanding seen here and now]; for the heathen [who don’t know I Am in every generation] are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cut a tree out of the forest [men they think are upright], the work of the hands of the workman [making them idols], with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not [from the corrupt positions they’ve created]. [These are the hypocrites, the hyper critical, congenital liars, witnesses against their own ignorance, exposing themselves, who are forever spewing their fallacious opinions, who will never stop, never come to the present light, because their deeds are evil. They have made their choice and therefore, by their endless disruption of peace, condemn themselves to separation from the law-abiding and peaceful.]
5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not [according to this word, because there is no light in them]: they must need be borne [carried], because they cannot go [move on their own, but must be moved out of the way by the Spirit of the LORD moving upon the darkened deep]. Be not afraid of them; for [if we refuse to be affected] they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good [they are unable to produce a positive effect].
6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is great in might.
7 Who would not fear you, O King of nations? for to you does it appertain [ya’ah – only appearing this once; pertaining to Yahh: I Am in the flesh]: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto you [none knowing the things only You know and teach us].
8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is [their idols are] a doctrine of vanities [worthless words].
9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder [tsaraph – the refining things of earthly value and outer appearance]: blue and purple is their clothing [covering the deception within, by which they rule]: they are all the work of cunning men [chakam – the wise men of this world, who the LORD confounds with His truth].
10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth [‘erets] shall tremble [to shake the wicked from it], and the nations [those refusing to know I Am] shall not be able to abide his indignation [za’am – which ends in these men’s destruction, which they should fear].
11 Thus shall you say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth [‘erets], even they shall perish from the [new] earth, and from under these [new] heavens.
12 He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out [in this firmament, this exposition] the heavens [this understanding spread before us] by his discretion.
13 When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens [by which His word from there comes], and he causes the vapors [nasiy’ – the prince in whom the elements of understanding are found] to ascend [to rise from the earth into the cloud] from the ends of the earth [‘erets – being left without understanding, ending the old and corrupt]; [and beginning the new] he [congealing the elements] makes lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures [by His Spirit moving upon the darkness He gives these gifts].
14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder [tsaraph – refiners, who should be removing corruption] is confounded by the graven image [the idols they created]: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath [life] in them.
15 They are vanity [worthless words], and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation [pquddah – this time when I Am come as the Chief Overseer of the earth] they shall perish.
16 The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel [My family, the children of My correction] is the rod [shebet – the scepter to rule this new earth] of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts [a man of war] is his name [I Am, His identity].
17 Gather up your wares [pack and move] out of the land [‘erets – the old earth], O inhabitant of the fortress [matsowr – the place of oppression, against which I Am laying siege].
18 For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will sling [qala’ – a seven times used word referring us to its use in 1 Samuel 25:29, speaking of the LORD slinging out David’s enemies] out the inhabitants of the land [‘erets] at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.
19 Woe is me for my [the carcass of My dead body] hurt! my wound is grievous; but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not [the same words Rachel cries out, in Jeremiah 31:15, of Ephraim: God’s people at large in this last and first generation]: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought [darash] the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered [as it is].
22 Behold, the noise [qowl – voice] of the bruit [shmuw’ah – the report heard from Jehovah, I Am in this generation of the dead who are raised to life] is come, and a great commotion [ra’ash – the voice “shaking” heaven and earth, which brings the dead bones together and causes men to discern and choose good over evil] out of the north country [revealed from the darkness of men’s ignorance], to make the cities of Judah [the current crop of corrupt leaders] desolate, and a den of dragons [tanniym – men as serpents and whales, with their wide open mouths devouring men and swallowing them into the belly of hell].
23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself [but to You it appertains, to guide and direct him into a good way]: it is not in man that walks [his own evil way] to direct his steps.
24 O LORD, correct me [back onto the right path], but with judgment; not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.
25 Pour out your fury upon the heathen that know you not, and upon the families that call not on your name [manifested identity: I Am]: for they have eaten up Jacob [and swallowed him into the belly of hell], and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation [this corrupt earth] desolate.
Matthew 12
30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathers not with me scatters abroad.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost [the LORD speaking and working unknown to those dead in their own ignorance, proven by them not knowing it’s Him even as He tells them – Acts 13:41 Behold {see Him}, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you shall in no wise believe, though a man declares it {as I Am} unto you.], it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers [in whose mouths is deadly poison], how can you, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart [the foundational mind] the mouth speaks.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the [this] day of judgment.
37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from you.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah [coming from the belly of hell and calling all to repent]:
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s [ketos – the great uncorssable chasma between heaven and hell] belly [from there “I cried by reason of my affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and you heard my voice.”]; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart [mind] of the earth [the habitation of the dead, the grave in the earth, sheol].
41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
The idea of elements of understanding being congealed in the cloud, as unseen vapor turned to water, the word of God in the mind of the prince He chooses and anoints with these gifts, treasures deposited to be given to all freely, is seen in the four-times-used word qapha’, meaning “to shrink, i.e. thicken (as unracked wine, curdled milk, clouded sky, frozen water).”
Exodus 15
1 Then sang Moses and the children [the LORD has given me] of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto [repeating His words manifesting the presence of] the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider [who is death] has he thrown into the sea.
2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will [by refining, remove men’s corruption] prepare him a habitation [in my flesh]; my father’s God, and I will exalt him [His word above all other voices].
3 The LORD is a man of war [the first face of His unfolding presence]: the LORD is his name.
4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his host has he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
6 Your right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: your right hand, O LORD, has dashed in pieces the enemy.
7 And in the greatness of your excellency you have overthrown them that rose up against you: you sent forth your wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
8 And with the blast of your nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as a heap, and the depths were congealed [qapha’] in the heart [the mind] of the sea [God’s people at large].
9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
10 You did blow with your wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
11 Who is like unto you, O LORD, among the gods? who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
12 You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them [into hell].
13 You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation.
Isaiah 10
1 Woe unto them [the wicked in this time far off] that [rule by the] decree [of] unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness [the same cause, corrupt ways they say are a cure] which they have prescribed;
2 To turn aside the needy [needing these necessary utterances] from judgment [found therein], and to take away the right [the LORD’s righteousness] from the poor [those without worldly power or position] of my people, that widows [without a man to defend them] may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless [who are also without a protector]!
3 And what will you do in the day of visitation [pquddah – from paqad, the vitiation in this appointed time], and in the desolation which shall come from far [merchaq – this appointed time the LORD decreed]? to whom will you flee for help? and where will you leave your glory?
4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [work of Salvation] is stretched out still.
5 O Assyrian [communists in power], the rod of my anger, and the staff in their hand is my indignation.
6 I will send him against a hypocritical nation [already fallen into idol worship, abominations men created and put in the LORD’s place], and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Howbeit he means not so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
8 For [in arrogance thinking he is succeeding by his own power] he says, “Are not my princes altogether kings?
9 [Speaking of all the cities the communists have already conquered] Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?”
12 Wherefore it shall come to pass [after the above is complete, as it now is], that when the LORD has performed his whole [strange] work [which no man knows] upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish [paqad – visit as the Chief Overseer of the earth] the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria [the communists], and the glory of his high looks [of pride and arrogance].
13 For he says, “By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
14 And my hand has found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathers eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.”
15 Shall the axe boast itself against him that hews therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shakes it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no [not dead] wood.
16 Therefore shall the LORD, the LORD of hosts, send among his [the communists who have prospered in their evil work as enemies mixed among us] fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
17 And the light [the understanding the LORD has given] of Israel [those who’ve received Him, His correction, and reached this promised and expected end] shall be for a fire [speaking My word against evil: corrupt ideas causing the fires in the world], and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers [misleaders and deceivers] in one day [when this only true light cover the earth and brings a new creation];
18 And shall consume the glory of his forest [the falsely so-called upright of the world, through whose branches comes corrupt fruit], and of his fruitful field [of corruption], both soul and body [here in hell destroyed]: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer [nacac – whose voices are the most prominent] faints [macac – melts away].
19 And the rest [sh’ar – the elect remnant that remains with the LORD] of the trees [bringing forth good fruit] of his forest shall be few [who have received Him], that a child may [here and now] write them [the saint giving this description given to him by the LORD, in Whom he alone, first, puts his faith, by which the living live].
20 And it shall come to pass [hayah – it shall come into being] in that day [manifested by this light in them], that the [few that bring forth good fruit, the very elect] remnant [sh’ar] of Israel [who have received the LORD and His correction], and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob [the name of all Israel {Ephraim and Judah} when they were still unknowingly wrestling with God], shall no more again stay upon him that smote them [the neglectful thorns and briers whose leadership is the root of the problem]; but shall stay [rely on, put their trust in, faith] upon the LORD, the Holy One [qodowsh – the saint set apart for this work] of Israel, in truth.
21 The remnant [sh’ar – the elect few] shall return [to the LORD first, even the remnant [sh’ar – the very few from every tribe] of Jacob, [who are sealed for this work by following the Lamb] unto the mighty God.
22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant [sh’ar – the elect through whom, by speaking this word of the LORD, the great multitude are brought out of the great tribulation now upon the world] of them shall return [first to the LORD]: the consumption [killayown – only here and Deuteronomy 28:65 where it is a “falling” eye, as in what these men say they’ve seen, as in Zachariah 14:12, when they melt {maqaq} away] decreed [charats] shall overflow [shataph – as in Isaiah 28:15 & 18, where it’s the “overflowing” scourge sent line upon line, precept upon precept, against the lies and falsehoods under which hides those who’ve made a covenant with death and are in agreement with hell, by this cleansing] with righteousness.
23 For the LORD God of hosts shall make a consumption [kalah – this full end], even determined [charats – decreed by the LORD], in the midst [of hell] of all the land [‘erets – upon the whole earth].
24 Therefore, thus says the LORD God of hosts, O my people that dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian [the communists at open war against us, while calling it peace and safety]: he shall smite you with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt.
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and my anger in their destruction.
26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian [those who cause endless strife among God’s people] at the rock of Oreb [whose kings trust in ignorance and darkness they’ve caused]: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt [and these waters, as fire from my mouth, shall consume them, as decreed – after the anointing {machach – “until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate”} which is the final step before we rise as ONE BODY].
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden [the enemies in power, communist oppressors, mixed among us] shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke [joining them] from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing [shemem].
28 He is come to Aiath [the heap of ruin], he is passed to Migron [the precipice]; at Michmash [where it is hidden] he has laid up [paqad – reserved for this appointed time of My visitation] his carriages [to take the wicked out of the way]:
29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba [the high places of power]; Ramah [this time when men who make themselves gods] is afraid; Gibeah of Saul [the high ones the people desired] is fled.
30 Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim [of these springs of living waters]: cause it to be heard unto Laish [as the roar of a Lion], O poor [‘aniy – humble] Anathoth [who’ve heard the LORD].
31 Madmenah [the dunghill – when the high places are full of it] is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim [those who’ve poisoned, polluted with dung, the well] gather themselves to flee.
32 As yet shall he remain at Nob [in their high places] that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the LORD, the LORD of hosts, shall lop [ca’aph – separate the good from] the bough [of the corrupt tree, which produces corrupt fruit] with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down [with this sword of the LORD and of Gideon, the man of war, and the hewer of the powerful], and the haughty shall be humbled.
34 And he shall cut down the thickets [of the misleaders] of the forest [of corrupt trees] with iron, and Lebanon [the so-called upright in high places, the corrupt who think they are pure by their own twisted and perverted definitions] shall fall by a mighty one.
Ezekiel 37
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these [dead and scattered] bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried [without this word of the LORD], and our hope [of entering into His presence] is lost: we are cut off for [scattered from] our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus says the LORD God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves [here in the earth], and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land [‘adamah – this generation, the last that becomes the first] of Israel [My people who, by faith and obedience, receive this promised end].
13 And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves [here in the earth, brought My people from death into this new life],
14 And shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land [‘adamah – this new generation, the first of My new creation of heaven and earth]: then shall you know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, says the LORD.
15 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover, you son of man, take you one stick [‘ets – good tree], and write upon it, For Judah [the elect remnant, the first fruits], and for the children of Israel his companions [chaber – those united with them]: then take another stick [‘ets – good tree], and write upon it, For Joseph [David’s king {‘adown}, whose birthright is the throne], the stick [‘ets – good tree] of Ephraim [his seed upon whom this double blessing has come, who were before in double ruin] and for all the house of Israel his companions [chaber – all those joined together]:
17 And join them one to another into one stick [‘ets – good tree]; and they shall become ONE [BODY of Christ] in your hand.
18 And when the children of your people shall speak unto you, saying, Will you not show us what you mean by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus says the LORD God; Behold, I will take the stick [‘ets – good tree] of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes [shebet – the branch, the scepter to rule] of Israel his fellows [chaber – all those joined with them], and will put them with him, even with the stick [’ets – the good tree] of Judah, and make them one stick [‘ets – ONE good tree], and they shall be [hayah – become, the LORD shall become in them] ONE [BODY of Christ] in my [the LORD’s] hand [with His power doing His work].
20 And the sticks [‘ets – the good tree] whereon you write [these words into their minds] shall be [hayah – come into being who they are] in your [the son of man’s] hand before their eyes [now realizing they see as the LORD sees].
21 And say unto them, Thus says the LORD God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen [those who don’t know Me], whither they be gone [halak – walked astray], and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land [‘adamah – this new generation of My creation]:
22 And I will make them one [new] nation in the land [‘erets – this new earth] upon the mountains of Israel [My new governments of church and state]; and one king [I Am] shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations [of many scattered tribes], neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land [‘erets – this earth] that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children forever: and my servant David shall be their prince forever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary [My presence with them, in them, and they in Me] shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
Psalms 24
1 The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein [made by His power and wisdom – as in Jeremiah 10:12 above].
2 For he has founded it upon the seas [equally in the minds of all], and established it upon the floods [as water against water, words against words].
3 Who shall ascend into the hill [be raised into the new government] of the LORD? or who shall stand [with Him] in his holy place [where righteousness reigns]?
4 He that has clean hands [washed from the filth of the corrupt world, the evil of this generation], and a pure heart [mind, by which we see the LORD as He is, with us, in us]; who has not [in pride] lifted up his soul unto vanity [worthless ideas, creation of men put in the LORD place], nor sworn deceitfully [calling their lies truth and truth lies].
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek [darash] him, that seek [daqash – separated from evil, by diligently searching for] your face [paniym – the LORD’s presence], O Jacob [but without faith that it is impossible to find him, and in endlessly wrestling with His presence and word, there is perdition]. Selah [stop what you are doing and think intelligently].
7 Lift up your heads [your minds into His understanding], O you gates [whose mouth confess Him and His living presence in you]; and be you lifted up [into eternal life by putting on your immortality], you everlasting doors [now again opened]; and the King of [the LORD’s] glory shall come in [and will dwell in you forever].
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD [in His man of war] mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O you gates [out of hell into heaven]; even lift them up, you everlasting doors [through which He enters]; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts [a man of war], he is the King of glory. Selah [THINK!].
Ecclesiastes 8
1 Who is as the wise man? and who knows the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom [given as a gift from God] makes his face [paniym – manifests God’s presence] to shine [as His understanding revealed], and the boldness [‘oz – His strength] of his face [paniym – of His presence in him] shall be changed [shana – seen as the LORD in him raising him to the throne].
2 I counsel you to keep the king’s commandment, and that in regard of the oath [shbuw’ah] of God.
3 Be not hasty [bahal – dismayed] to go out of his sight [paniym – from the presence of God in him]: stand not in an evil [misleading] thing; for he does whatsoever pleases him.
4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What do you?
5 Whoso keeps the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerns both time and judgment.
6 Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.
7 For he knows not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?
8 There is no man that has power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither has he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.
9 All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun [the church]: there is a time [as now] wherein one [wicked] man rules over another to his own hurt.
10 And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.
11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
12 Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him [paniym – the LORD’s presence manifested in the king he establishes]:
13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he fears not before [the paniym – the manifested presence of] God.
14 There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happens according to the work of the wicked [kept from the throne by the ignorance produced by the ways of the wicked]; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happens according to the work of the righteous [raised to the throne as if he were worthy of the honor]: I said that this also is vanity [worthless].
15 Then I commended mirth, because a man has no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink [which the LORD gives], and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labor the days of his life, which [gift] God gives him under the sun [in His Chruch].
16 When I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to see the business [‘inyan – the worthless ado] that is done upon the earth: (for also there is that [the Almighty] neither day nor night [in times of understanding and ignorance] sees sleep with his eyes [for the LORD is always with us beholding the evil and good done on the earth]:)
17 Then I beheld [understood] all the work of God, [revealing] that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun [man cannot know his own errors, which the overseer comes to reveal]: because though a man labors to seek it out [baqash], yet he shall not find it [because only God reveals it]; yea farther; though a wise man [in his pride] thinks to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it [because it is a gift: “For God gives {it} to a man that is good in his sight”].
The word shana, meaning to alter, only appears two other times, in the final verses of 2 Kings, rendered “changed” (2 Kings 25:29), there, in a pattern, telling of the king raised from prison to the throne; and Lamentations 4:1, asking how the finest gold (the treasures of heaven in God’s people) has become “changed.”
Lamentations 4
1 How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed [shana – altered into what is worthless]! the stones [stumbling blocks] of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street.
2 The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed [chashab – interwoven] as earthen pitchers [as vessels now filled with corruption], the work of the hands of the potter [by the hands of man]!
3 Even the sea monsters [tan – men as dragons who devour with their ever open mouths] draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel [not feeding their children these good things], like the ostriches in the wilderness [who forget their eggs in the earth and crush them under their feet].
4 The tongue of the sucking child cleaves to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread [ask for this word from the mouth of God], and no man breaks it unto them.
5 They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.
6 For the punishment of the iniquity [the misleading of corrupt kings, priests, and prophets] of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her [there is no man left uncorrupted].
7 Her Nazarites [those separated for the work of God] were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:
8 Their visage is [now – altered] blacker [covered in ignorance] than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaves to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick.
2 Kings 25
26 And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt [this land of oppression]: for they were afraid of the Chaldees [false prophets in church and state, who use deception and delusion, creations denying truth, to mislead, manipulate, and control God’s people at large].
27 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin [who Jehovah establishes as] king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach [the evil man, as a god {the idol Merodach} of this world, leading the rebellion against God] king of Babylon [the confusion now ruling over the world] in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin [the king Jehovah raises to the throne] king of Judah out of prison [hell];
28 And he spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon [in confusion];
29 And changed [shana] his prison garments [spotted by the flesh: corruption holding him in hell]: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life.
30 And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.
Jeremiah 50
1 The word that the LORD spoke against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.
2 Declare you among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard [nec – raise the son of man, exalt the LORD’s voice from him, as Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness, so all who look to him shall not be destroyed by the venomous words of the serpents mixed among them]; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel [the idols, men as false gods, of this world] is confounded, Merodach [the rebellion] is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images [the creations of men, which they put in God’s place] are broken in pieces.
3 For out of the north [a people of which they are ignorant] there comes up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate [in confusion, delusions, and insanity], and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
4 In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the children of Israel [God’s people at large] shall come, they and the children of Judah [His elect remnant] together [into ONE BODY], going and weeping: they shall go, and seek [baqash] the LORD their God.
5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
6 My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
7 All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon [come out of confusion], and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans [away from the deceivers and their manipulations], and be as the he goats [‘attuwd – be fully grown, prepared to lead] before [paniym – as My presence to] the flocks.
Habakkuk 3
8 Was the LORD displeased against the rivers [the means by which the waters of death flowed]? was your anger against the rivers? was your wrath against the sea [the people who became agitated by what flowed into them], that you did ride upon your horses [God’s people become His goodly horse in the battle – see Zechariah 10:3] and your chariots of salvation [the product of the LORD’s power raised in His people]?
9 Your bow was made quite naked [see Isaiah 52:10], according to the oaths [shbuw’ah] of the tribes [see Genesis 49:8 thru 12, & 22 thru 26], even your word. Selah. You did cleave the earth with rivers [this rightly divided pure word of God, flowing directly from Him].
10 The mountains [the high places of the earth – the spiritually wicked in power] saw you, and they trembled: the [these] overflowing of the water passed by: the deep [understanding] uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands [the light coming from His hand, where is His power] on high.
11 The sun and moon [church and civil government] stood still in their habitation: at the light of your arrows they went, and at the shining of your glittering spear [this word coming from the hand of God].
12 You did march through the land in indignation, you did thresh the heathen in anger.
13 You went forth for the salvation of your people, even for salvation with your anointed [I Am]; you wounded the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah [think about it].
14 You did strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
15 You did walk through the sea with your horses, through the heap of great waters.
16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble [tsarah – this tribulation]: when he comes up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops [the enemy that has come and why there is no life or fruit, and why the herd is scattered].
Psalms 3
1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But you, O LORD, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awoke; for the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for you have smitten all my enemies upon the cheek bone; you have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongs unto the LORD: your blessing is upon your people. Selah.
